Can I please give it 6 stars? For my birthday, I stole food from the Schleiffmühle for the first time, even though we live around the corner. We've truly been missing out all these years! We definitely have to make up for it. The interior of the restaurant is very inviting, beautifully decorated, and harmonious. The staff is very friendly, and you're served without any rush or stress. The dishes were sensational, fresh, and grilled to perfection. For me, as a Greek, this was the best Greek food I've had in Germany. Congratulations on your high-quality, service-oriented offerings, and many thanks!

So, the food and service itself were GREAT but there was one thing I found really disappointing...they're usually supposed to serve ouzo at the end, but there was nothing. I'll probably go somewhere else next time.

Not an authentic Greek restaurant. Service was friendly, attentive, and courteous. The mixed appetizer platter was mediocre; the tzatziki was good, fresh in flavor, but it could have used a squeeze of lemon and a bit more garlic. The flatbread was the best part of the appetizer (and overall, the best of the entire evening). The taramasolata was too compact, hard, and lacked flavor. The pickled octopus was a convenience product and tasted like it had come from the refrigerator and too strongly of fish (not fresh). The stuffed mushrooms were okay, and the vine leaves were okay too. The baked eggplant was well-prepared and very tasty. For the main course, we had bifteki and calamari. The bifteki were an indefinable pink mass that was, firstly, completely oversalted and, secondly, had a disgusting aftertaste. The calamari was very well prepared, but the breading was also oversalted. The lamb skewer, which was brought as a replacement for the inedible bifteki, was unfortunately also inedible, with a pungent barnyard flavor (and too much salt). The side dishes—steamed vegetables—lacked any finesse and were relatively flavorless. The dining room smells unpleasantly of toilets and urinal air fresheners. We won't be back.

In my opinion, the food was very tasty and the portion sizes were very generous. The staff were friendly and quick. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and very clean. The only downside is that the parking situation isn't ideal, so you'll need to either take public transport or allow some time for searching and walking.

We ordered from "Bacchus" on a Saturday and were speechless. It was definitely one of the best meals we've ever had delivered, and by far the best Greek food in Wiesbaden. We celebrated our company New Year's party there and it was perfect. From the food, service to the atmosphere, breathtaking. In a separate room designed in a more rustic style, we had complete freedom and were served very attentively. Definitely recommended! Everything at our Christmas party was just bad, the mixed platter was extremely salty and looked like dog food.

I ordered the gyros plate with tzatziki. Ambience great, service good, food unfortunately underwhelming and quite expensive. The gyros were too dry and way too much onions on top. The side salad was bitter and the dressing wasn't good. The potatoes were way overcooked and bland. The vegetable rice was the worst. It has the look and taste of cafeteria food. (Not just my opinion but also from the people I ate with) It would be advisable to change that, the restaurant itself is very nice and cozy so it's a shame.

Perfect location for our wedding – warm service and top quality We were able to celebrate our wedding with over 20 guests, including many children, in the Schleifmühle Bacchus restaurant - and it was simply fantastic! The family-run restaurant gave us a warm and familiar feeling from the start. The service was exceptionally attentive and warm, the quality of the food was excellent, and we didn't miss anything. Very good Griecje with excellent cuisine.

Sind ganz spontan auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant in der Nähe gewesen und haben die Schleifmühle. Vom Namen und Äußeren kommt es einem nicht griechisch vor. Wir sind aber auch ohne Reservierung und trotz schon um 18.30Uhr vollem Haus freundlich empfangen worden und in den Keller für Nicht-Reservierungsgäste geschickt worden. Dieser stellte sich aber als gemütlicher Gesellschafts-und Partyraum heraus, der sich auch schnell füllte. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich und das Essenrecht gut. Ich hatte zwar schon geschmacklich bessere Moussaka,, aber die frittierten Zucchini und Lammsouvlaki waren über dem griechischen Durchschnittsessen. Insgesamt jedenfalls keine schlechte Wahl in dieser Gegend.

10 people came to the class reunion dinner. Extra requests/reorders of food were implemented and fulfilled by the kitchen. Everyone received their food order at the same time. The dishes were very hot - 🔥 TOP, good generous portions, tasted so delicious 😋 and very nicely presented on the plate. At the end there was a delicious 😋 Quzo and a nice, short conversation while paying. Highly recommended - excellent cuisine and hospitality / definitely try it out ❗️

We celebrated our wedding in the Schleifmühle. The discussions in advance regarding the process were always relaxed. Service was great, the food was plentiful and tasty so everyone was full. Cakes/cakes could be brought along by arrangement. All guests including us as a couple are super satisfied with the ambience, service and food. Everyone who works there is very warm and relaxed, good conversations are inevitable. The day was definitely more than successful! Wir haben unsere Hochzeit in der Schleifmühle gefeiert. Die Besprechungen vorab bzgl des Ablaufs waren immer entspannt. Service war super, das Essen reichlich und lecker sodass jeder satt wurde. Torte/Kuchen durften nach Absprache mitgebracht werden. Alle Gäste inklusive uns als Paar sind super zufrieden mit dem Ambiente, Service, Essen. Alle die dort arbeiten sind sehr herzlich und entspannt, gute Gespräche sind vorprogrammiert. Der Tag war definitiv mehr als gelungen! Danke nochmal an das super Team, wir werden euch demnächst wieder als Gäste beehren 😁🤗

An incredibly cozy restaurant with impeccable service and exceptionally good cuisine. In my opinion the best Greek at least in Wiesbaden, possibly also one of the best in Germany. My wife and I eat here every year in the late summer or fall when we feel like it. Every year we can't resist the appetizer platter for two people, which is consistently fabulously good, but whose name as an appetizer is deceptive. Two very good eaters could manage the starter plate for one person and one main course each, but we are both always completely full after the plate for two and then fail at our main courses, which we always have packed up and enjoyed the next day. Nevertheless, I can fully recommend this approach because it is always incredibly tasty and you are missing out on something if you skip the appetizer platter. An absolutely first-class address in Wiesbaden and completely reasonable in terms of price, I unreservedly recommend it.

The restaurant offers plenty of space for many guests and has excellent service. You should definitely make a reservation! The price-performance ratio is very good here. The food and drinks are picked up quickly and handed over to the guest quickly. The menu is clear and yet there is something for every taste. Unfortunately, the parking situation is very tense as the restaurant only offers three parking spaces. However, there are several parking spaces on the side of the road within walking distance. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not accessible without steps.

The Schleifmühle restaurant has always been my favorite Greek restaurant in Wiesbaden, the food is so delicious, always hot and large portions that are super good value for money. In the family business everyone is super attentive and warm, you always feel welcome. This year we celebrated our wedding in the fireplace room, ideal for small and medium-sized celebrations (up to 50 people). All guests still rave about the delicious food and the friendly, fast service. Many thanks to the grinding mill staff, you made our day very special and my favorite Greek restaurant has now become a special place. :-)

Viele Reservierungen sind immer schon ein Zeichen auf ein gutes Restaurant. Empfangen von einem sehr freundlichen Service, platziert in einem nicht kitschig überfrachteten Ambiente, einer Speisekarte mit einer großen Auswahl für uns typischer Klassiker aus Griechenland, waren dann auch die von uns bestellten Vor-und Nachspeisen frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können das Lokal empfehlen. Organisatorische Tipps: Zu mindestens Samstagsabends sollte man auf jeden Fall reservieren; Parkplätze direkt am Restaurant sind nur sehr begrenzt verfügbar; Bezahlen kann man nur in bar oder mit ec-Karte.

Unerwartet lecker. Wie oft wir schon gehört haben „der beste Grieche in Wiesbaden“ sind der Empfehlung von Freunden und Bekannten gefolgt und waren enttäuscht. Gestern per Zufall im Internet gefunden, ausprobiert und wir sind toral happy. Wir hatten Gyros (also ganz klassisch) und den Poseidon Teller. Das war perfekt! Der service super nett und aufmerksam. Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder und probieren dann mal ein anderes 😊

Das Restaurant ist wunderbar eingerichtet und verfügt über einen tollen Wintergarten Dort lässt sich sehr angenehm sitzen. Auch das Verbot für Hunde finden wir sehr angenehm, obwohl wir tierlieb sind. Das Essen empfinden wir als durchschnittlich okay aber auch nicht umwerfend. Die bestellten Calamari für 26,90 € waren zäh und etwas trocken und blieben deshalb auch zum Teil liegen. Die Grillplatte für 21,90 € war mit einem sehr trockenen Steak, welches ich zurückgehen ließ, belegt, dazu ein Stück Leber, ein Lammkotelett und etwas Gyros (Zaziki kostet unverständlicherweise ein Euro mehr). Dazu viele Kartoffeln und Reis Preislich sind die Gerichte am oberen Limit. Insbesondere die Getränke sind teuer Ein gespritzte Apfelwein 4,90 € (das sind fast zehn D-Mark). Und das Zaziki für 5,90 € war ausgezeichnet. Für diese Preise hätte alles 100 % sein müssen, das war es leider nicht. Und auch die Reklamation verhallte im Wind. Mit Trinkgeld und einem Getränk knapp 80 € zu bezahlen. Das ist schon eine Hausnummer. Daher auch nur drei Sterne

The restaurant is wonderfully furnished and has a great winter garden It's very comfortable to sit there. We also find the ban on dogs very pleasant, even though we love animals. We found the food to be average, okay but not amazing either. The calamari we ordered for €26.90 was tough and a bit dry, so some of it was left lying around. The grill platter for €21.90 was topped with a very dry steak, which I let go back, along with a piece of liver, a lamb chop and some gyros (tzaziki cost, incomprehensibly, one euro more). Plus lots of potatoes and rice The dishes are priced at the upper limit. The drinks in particular are expensive A sparkling apple cider €4.90 (that's almost ten D-Marks). And the tzatziki for €5.90 was excellent. For these prices everything should have been 100%, unfortunately it wasn't. And the complaint also died away in the wind. With a tip and a drink you pay just under €80. That's quite a house number. Hence only three stars

Very nice atmosphere, nice and courteous service and, above all, very good food. Both meat and fish dishes are delicious. The winter garden with an opening roof is a highlight when the weather is nice.

We celebrated our civil wedding with family and friends at Bacchus. The service was great as always, every detail was always paid attention to. The reception was great, all the staff were very friendly! We only received positive feedback from all of our guests! Unfortunately, the chicken breast was a bit too dry and the potatoes were more like boiled potatoes than potatoes from the oven. The service and the ambience were great.

Shortly before our Crete vacation we were already prepared for Greek hospitality. A very nice, competent and absolutely hospitable family gave us a successful culinary Sunday lunch. Very good Greek and delicious gyros - you can do that

We were basically regulars at this restaurant. Now it seems the sons have taken over. The second time I chose a rump steak, unfortunately it was inedible. Too tough and instead of medium, almost completely cooked through and hard. My wife and son were reasonably satisfied (local Greek cuisine), even if they liked it better. Since my wife wasn't that hungry, she wanted a children's plate for the starter. Was categorically rejected by the sons.

Nettes Lokal aber etwas zu teuer

Die Schleifmühle ist ein schönes Restaurant, edel eingerichtet mit romantischer Stimmung. Das Essen ist einigermaßen, Fleisch leider etwas zäh , von meiner Partnerin das Fleisch nicht durch gebraten. Vielleicht war einfach zu viel los an diesem Abend. Der Service allerdings war super, ich würde noch einmal zur Schleifmühle gehen und dem Restaurant eine zweite Chance geben
