Restaurant Syrtaki Kiel in Kiel

The food arrived 20 minutes later than stated (a total delivery time of 83 minutes). The gyro was only lukewarm and dry. The portion of rice was very small. The price is very high for the quality of the food.

We've been here a few times now. Solid stuff. I highly recommend it.

We ordered there, the food was warm, and the driver was friendly! The gyros had some hard pieces, and the liver was a small piece cut in the middle. It tasted very bland. The meatball tasted so-so, but everyone has different tastes. The fries were OK.

The food was served cold. The liver was burnt and reheated. I returned the food. I was then asked for a new one, but it was only lukewarm again, and I'm sure I was served the food the second time, only on a new plate. The gyro and liver were crumbly, dry, and inedible. The rice was also cold, and there was no taste of tomatoes. This was my first and last time eating at the restaurant. The service was very attentive, but it wasn't their fault. The air quality in the premises was very bad (it smelled strongly of a toilet).

Very tasty food, large portions at a great price. My husband was really full for the first time 😄 My fish platter was simply amazing, except that some of the vegetables were frozen, which you could unfortunately taste. Instead, there was a fresh green salad. We'll definitely be back.

I went there with my bf, the inside of the restaurant as well as the outside were really pretty, i enjoyed the art on the walls. the food was delicious and the owner of the restaurant and staff were genuinely incredibly nice. the owner of the restaurant even offered us a shot of whiskey from his private collection, free of charge. overall it was such a great experience and i would definitely recommend it, will definitely go there again, 10/10😊 <3

The food was way too expensive for the price and the portions were unnecessarily large. When we asked if we could take the leftovers with us, more than half of them didn't fit into the mini container and were thrown away. Bad experience.

I love this restaurant. It should never close. Everything is truly delicious, and the staff are all so kind and friendly and always chatty. I highly recommend it to everyone. If you're ever in Kiel, go here. I've been going here with my family for years, and it's always delicious.

Freundlicher Empfang, gemütliches kleines Restaurant mit griechischer Küche. Die Portionen waren sehr reichhaltig und groß, kamen heiss auf den Tisch und waren gut zubereitet. Service aufmerksam und freundlich.

Awesome throughout! This was our first time at Syrtaki and we were truly pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, very tasty and plentiful. It was also very reasonably priced. The service was very friendly and relaxed, with a sense of humor. The staff were truly pleasant. The restaurant is stylishly decorated in a classic Greek style. There are several comfortable seats. We sat right by the beautifully decorated window. Conclusion: We'll definitely be back. P.S.: Dogs are allowed.

There were two of us and we spontaneously stopped by the Syrtaki restaurant. We got a table right away, and everything was perfect! We even got a birthday present when we told people about it! We'd love to come back!

Overall a positive dinner! Called and reserved a table, very nice, friendly lady! Very well received on site! Very attentive service! Good quality food! Amount unbelievable! The small portions are completely sufficient! Anything else borders on gluttony ;-)! I can recommend it without reservation!

Very nice staff and plenty of delicious food

By FAR the worst “Greek” food I’ve ever had! Tough, disgusting souvlaki, lukewarm gyros that tastes like cat food and bifteki that only tastes like cinnamon. You couldn't even drown this shame in tzatziki because that too had a bad, almost unhealthy taste. Plus really high prices for something like this, it's an absolute disgrace. I also specifically requested cutlery via Uber Eats, which of course was forgotten. The one star is for the fast delivery.

Ordered from the delivery service. Delivered very quickly and hot, gyros and suflaki very, very tasty. Fries really good! Delicious side salad. Lovely again!

Food was absolutely fine. I've eaten worse food from other Greeks in Kiel. Delivery took a little longer, so everything was a little cold and the fries were soggy. But this is common with delivery services. If you spend €15 you get a free 1L drink, which I think is a really great promotion! Therefore recommended!

We always enjoy coming back to the Syrtaki restaurant. The owners always welcome you warmly, and the service is always friendly and gives you a feeling of comfort. The food never disappointed us, my personal recommendation is the calamari. Always my pleasure!

Essen schmeckt alles fade und war kalt bis lauwarm. Dem Personal war das egal wir wurden dann einfach ignoriert. Dafür war das Bier warm und schal.

Food was delivered quickly and hot. The taste was really good, I really liked it. I actually think the prices are good because the portion was really big. Definitely order ram!!

Super nice service, great service, good food

The food is incredibly delicious! So good that not all the tables inside are full - an incredible amount is delivered outside of the house. But the staff on site always give their all and the atmosphere is incredibly friendly. So always come here! Plan to have a little patience (or compassion for hard-working people) on Sunday (especially if it's football). But a little ouzo helps get over it... ;-)

Super freundliche Bedienung und tolles Ambiente. Der Blick auf die Hotenauer Straße ermöglicht, auch wenn man dort allein essen geht, dass es nicht langweilig wird. Das Essen war lecker und die Portionen sehr groß. Die Pommes sind schön knusprig und innen trotzdem weich, das Fleisch war gut gewürzt und der selbstgemachte Krautsalat war auch sehr gut. Ich geh da immer wieder gern hin :D

Sehr leckeres griechisches Essen und frisch auf den Tisch, zudem freundliche und unaufdringliche Bedienung :-) Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenns auch 800 km Fahrt sind ;-)

AMBIENTE Das Restaurant ist schön im typischen griechischen Stil eingerichtet, es vermittelt dadurch ein angenehmes Flair. ESSEN Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker, die Speisen werden von Hand im Hause zubereitet und frisch serviert. Sowohl Fleischliebhaber wie auch Vegetarier finden hier Leckeres. BEDIENUNG Die Bedienung ist sehr höflich; bei meinen Speiseerfahrungen gab es einen Ouzo "aufs Haus". Alles in allem kann ich das Restaurant nur sehr weiterempfehlen! Die Preise bilden den Durchschnitt der heutzutage für gastronomische Leistungen geforderten Preisklasse.

Bewertung für "Gyros" und "Zaziki (Beilage": Sehr gute Pommes mit gutem Gyros. Dujecreis und Zaziki okay, mir aber etwas zu wenig Salz. Das ist für mich aber nicht schlimm, weil nachwürzen kann man ja immer und Salz hat eigentlich jeder daheim! Portionen sind riesig! Zu der Beilage "Zaziki" wird Brot gereicht. Dieses jedoch war leider sehr schlecht. Es war trocken und nicht schmackhaft. Da hätte ich mir mehr gewünscht. Die Lieferung erfolgte sehr unkompliziert und einfach. Der Lieferant war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gerne wieder!

The only thing that could have been different was the fries, they were chunky fries when French fries may have been better and the Tzatziki could have been a bit more creamy. I will still order from here whenever I’m in the area and wanting Greek food though!

Vor vielen Jahren aßen wir im Syrtaki (wurde vom einem anderen Besitzer betrieben) und die Speisen waren köstlich. Leider wurden wir diesmal bitter enttäuscht. Das Fleisch war äußerst trocken ("totgebraten"). Der Krautsalat war stark mit Essig gewürzt , also ungenießbar. Im Tsatsiki waren Gewürze/Kräuter - jedenfalls schmeckte der Quark fade und hatte eine komische Konsistenz. Das Lammkotelett war so winzig, dass man es im Teller suchen musste. Insgesamt sehr enttäuschend. Nie wieder !! Wir haben uns geärgert, dass wir so viel Geld da gelassen haben!!

Essen absolut lecker, Personal inkl. Chef stets bemüht das Beste zu geben. Haut leider nicht immer hin ... wir sind alle nur Menschen.

Die ham da so eine baltische Bedienung. Mit so kurze blonde Haare. Die ist nett und witzig. Die trinkt (Chef bitte Mal wegschauen) auch gern Mal einen kurzen mit. Das Essen war auch super. Super lecker. Der Mercedes parkt häufig zweite Reihe mit Warblinker und Fahrradfahrer regen sich in der Vorbeifährt auf, das nervt etwas. Naja. Ist auch schlimm mit Parkplätze.

Wir als Gruppe können nur positives berichten. Essen und und Service waren super. Spontan eingekehrt und nicht bereut. Danke an das Team, auf den nächsten Ouzo, VG aus Paderborn

Gestern hatten wir hier einen tollen Abend. Obwohl noch offiziell geschlossen war wurden wir sehr freundlich herein gelassen. 1h vor Öffnung. Ein sehr sehr netter Betreiber. Das Essen war total super. Wir hatten 5 unterschiedliche Gerichte und alle waren sehr zufrieden. Der Ouzo floss reichlich. Die Bedienung die dann kam war auch sehr freundlich. Alles in allem ein perfekter Avend bei euch. Wenn wir wieder in Kiel sind kommen wir ganz klar zu euch. Macht weiter so. Tolle Gastgeber. Liebe Grüße aus Paderborn

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und schnell bedient. Das gute sind natürlich die Öffnungszeiten am Wochenende, da die meisten Restaurants erst gegen 17 Uhr öffnen. Wir würden auf jeden fall wieder hingehen und dort essen.

Bis jetzt immer zufrieden mit dem Lammpfännchen (nicht zu verwechseln mit der Lammpfanne), auch als 1/2 Pfännchen bestellbar. Wer Kalamares mag wird hier glücklich werden, lecker und frisch zubereitet, keine (TK)-Tintenfischringe. Ein leckerer Wein, Bier und der obligatorische Ouzo runden das kulinarische Vergnügen ab.

Das bier, der Wein und der Ouzo sind gut. Das essen ist sehr gut. Besonders gut schmecken die Pommes frites. Die wirtsleute sind besonders nett.

Hatte hier 2 mal bestellt. Einmal war es wirklich lecker, kann mich nicht beschweren. Beim zweiten Mal wartete ich über eine Stunde auf mein Essen. Nachdem ich anrief, musste ich noch eine Stunde auf mein Essen warten. Insgesamt also über 2 Stunden Wartezeit auf mein Essen. Als es dann ankam, war es nicht mehr wirklich warm leider..schade

Wir haben im Syrtaki in großer Runde Geburtstag nachgefeiert. Alle waren mit dem Essen sehr zufrieden. Portionen reichlich, Preise fair. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Gastlichkeit: Mehrfach wurde uns aufs Haus Ouzo serviert (den Kindern ein "Kinderschnaps") und am Ende gab's noch eine leckere Nachspeise aufs Haus. Freundliche Bedienung, ein klasse Abend. Nur ein kleiner Tipp: Die Getränke, sowohl das Bier als auch der Ouzo, könnten kälter sein.

In diesem Restaurant bekommt man für sein Geld ein hervorragendes Essen, selten so ein Guten Griechen mit dem Preis Leistungs Verhältnis gesehen. Macht weiter so , hier gibt es keine Gründe sich zu beschweren .
