Amazing food experience. The taste of the food was great and there was a lot of food, so us hungry danes needed to there a bit out. Next time we visit Kiel We Will use this restaurant again! The food was good. Gyros and fries could have been a little crispier. Suzuki and suflaki were great. The tzatziki was slightly sour. But that's probably because it's made from yoghurt and not quark. The service is super friendly. No long wait. The ambience has remained as it was before. All in all it is recommended.

We are regular guests here, whenever we visit family in Kiel. A great, down-to-earth restaurant with authentic Greek food. The waitresses are very nice and the boss takes great care of his guests. Definitely a recommendation!

I went to El Greco for the first time on the recommendation of a friend and I have to say the food is excellent, the service is unique, the service is super friendly, I'm totally thrilled, the food was really great, I had gyros with tzatziki and fries, which are unique, I've never eaten fries like this before, the coleslaw was also super tasty, the gyros were crispy as it should be and as I said the service is great I can only recommend it 5 stars!

El Greco is a taverna style restaurant. It serves great Gyros but the atmosphere there is very old fashioned and could really use a renovation.

Food came wrong. No questions were asked as to whether drinks or dessert were wanted. The waitress didn't know any allergens and there was no menu with allergens marked

This is not a “standard Greek”! Although we can only write our review based on one visit and one order, so far we can report that the food is really incredibly good! My boyfriend is particularly enthusiastic about the juicy, tender meat and I think the selection of starters is great! The classic side dishes like coleslaw, rice and fries also taste good!! Good service completes the overall picture!

He took over the shop 4 months ago, the food is awesome and it's fresh. Not hung out and left for a long time, but fresh! The coleslaw is homemade and tastes wonderful! Tzatziki, even homemade, not too spicy and also homemade just great. The fries are incredible, I've never had fries so good! The service and courtesy is incredible. The bottom line is that I always come back and always enjoy it! I can only recommend this to anyone who loves Greek food!

There were two of us here. I had a grill plate that had a lot of it. The quality is top. Fries were pretty much the best I've eaten in the last few months. The meat was absolutely juicy and well seasoned. The service was ok. Our wishes were fulfilled. It's definitely worth eating here!

Nicely decorated Greek restaurant, tables not too close together. You can have a quiet, undisturbed conversation. Service very accommodating. Dish with liver without onions, these were served upon request. Recommended dish with Metaxa sauce. All in all round and recommended. Price-performance ratio is top in my opinion.

The El Greco in Kiel is (still) recommended! We think the appetizer platter and Saganaki taste best, everything tastes nice and fresh and well seasoned. The main courses all taste good, although surprisingly the souvlaki always taste very little seasoned and too bland. The gyro tastes nice and spicy and crunchy. The service is extremely friendly and always on hand. Conclusion: El Greco always works.

Last night we had the pleasure of dining at the Greek restaurant El Greco in Kiel and it was an absolute delight! The service was extremely friendly and accommodating, we felt like we were in good hands right from the start. The food was simply fantastic and pleased our taste buds. The beautiful ambience of the restaurant also contributed to a successful evening. I can fully recommend this restaurant and look forward to eating there again soon!

Perfect and parking is no problem

If you like large portions, good service and good Greek food (as we are used to in German), this is the right place for you. The food is delicious, plentiful and everything tastes very good. And the waiting time was completely ok considering the crowds. We just found it very loud in the fully occupied restaurant, which made it difficult to have a conversation.

Something has changed since the new owner took over in January. Went there for the first time in January. homemade dips and coleslaw 2. Ordered today. February. Liver good, skewers good, gyros very good. Coleslaw was also homemade and very tasty. Homemade dips too. Even the fries were still crispy and fluffy after delivery. Really good.

The amount of food, like most Greek restaurants, is overwhelming. Too much. You can't do that. Too bad about the food. Unfortunately, the quality does not correspond to the high prices; they are probably only there to compensate for the quantity. Metaxa sauce tasted like tomato sauce with cream. So-called minced meat rolls were huge flat cakes. The starters were so extensive that a main course was no longer necessary or possible. The service staff would have liked to have pointed this out. “Share an appetizer, that’s a very large portion,” e.g. Special requests were difficult to realize. Overall ok, but way too expensive.

We got 102 and 103 on the card plus garlic bread to get something different and it tasted so good! Delicious meat, good fritters and side dishes. The only minus here is that there are no English menu cards, so it took us some time to get to know the card with Google translate.

For an event in Kiel and looking for something to eat, we ended up at El Greco. Very early and without a reservation we were greeted very friendly. The store gradually filled up and was ultimately almost completely full. Gyros, souvlaki and souzuki were fresh, juicy, tasty - so great. Fries seem homemade?! Because it's rather atypical in form. Really really good. The Metaxa sauce at the Bifteki wasn't quite to our taste, but the portion was also very generous. Very, very friendly service, two ouzos on the house. I would come back there at any time! Clear recommendation.

Das Gyros in Metaxasoße war reichlich, schmeckte aber nur durchschnittlich. Das dunkle Bier schmeckte einigermaßen. Der Ouzo war okay. Das Vanilleeis überzeugte auch nicht. Das Personal war mäßig motiviert. Die Toilette war sauber. Das Lokal macht insgesamt den Eindruck, dass die letzte Renovierung schon etwas her ist
