Too bad. Soft drinks 0.33l €4.70!!! Small portion, not particularly pleasant atmosphere. There's a draft coming from the door, and the phone is constantly ringing – annoying!

Delicious and cozy! Friendly staff and generous portions.

We spontaneously stopped in with our voucher app and received a very warm welcome... It didn't look very inviting from the outside, but the inside was all the better. We had tzatziki as a starter and two mixed grills for our main course. Unfortunately, the gyro was only lukewarm and the rice almost cold... I didn't complain because I couldn't finish it all anyway. The fries and bifteki, as well as the tzatziki and coleslaw, were delicious!!! Our beer was perfectly chilled!! Thank you for the lovely visit... we highly recommend the restaurant!!!

We've ordered several times and even visited the store. Unfortunately, over time, the quality has declined while prices have risen. While it used to be absolutely 5 stars, today we're definitely dissatisfied.

One of the few truly good Greek restaurants in Kiel. Everything is just right here.

We were at the Apollon in Kiel today. We were last there a few years ago; since then, they've renovated, and there's beautiful new seating and fresh wall paint. The ambiance has become very nice, and the tables were already set with small appetizer plates and cloth napkins. For a small appetizer, we each had a coleslaw, which was finely chopped and seasoned. We each had a Corfu plate with gyro, souvlaki, and liver, with fries/rice and tzatziki. The meat was succulent and, above all, well-seasoned. The liver wasn't tough and was beautifully tender. The portion size was appropriate, especially not as overstuffed as in many other restaurants. The Metaxa sauce was a bit pricey at around €5. The ouzo at the end definitely rounded off the delicious meal. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Review – Restaurant Apollon Kiel (Delivery) I was really looking forward to the meal, but unfortunately, the turkey steak that was delivered was disappointing – dry and lacking in flavor. For the price, I definitely expected more. The delivery and packaging were fine, but unfortunately, the taste wasn't great. It's a shame – maybe it was a slip-up, but for the time being, it wasn't convincing.

If we want Greek food delivered, it's only from you. Great portions, custom requests are taken into account, the food always tastes delicious and is delivered by a very friendly delivery person. Keep up the good work.

What can we say? It was simply perfect. An incredibly delicious appetizer platter with all the fun things: delicious calamari, lean, crispy, and well-seasoned gyro, and super-tasty lukumades for dessert. The service was very, very friendly and attentive. We felt at home and left full and happy. A clear recommendation and full marks.

The staff is very friendly. Prices are reasonable 😂 The food is delicious and the selection is great.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We were here for lunch on Father's Day. We made a reservation by phone - everything was wonderful. The saganaki starter was very good. The four of us had the Acropolis platter. The meat was super tender and very tasty. Even the kids ate the liver. Rice was served individually - great. Potato wedges with their skins on - not too much salt - great! A large bowl of farmer's salad with feta cheese. Creamy tzatziki - garlic wasn't overpowering - very good. For €87 - a delicious family meal!!! The loukoumades were very nicely presented. It was my first time here and I'm absolutely thrilled. The food is very good here and the service is attentive and very friendly! Yamas!

May 25: As already threatened, we visited you today and can give you 5 stars. Dishes very fresh, the local fries are top notch. The gyros and the biteki are great, had the Helena plate. Service was also very friendly and accommodating. Stay like that. Also ambience, never expected from outside. I've been driving by your place for decades. We'll be back. February 25 : Review reflects an order made via Uber. For delivery it was almost perfect. Large portion overall. Fries would certainly be better on site, but a very generous portion. There could have been a little more of the very tasty rice. Meat tasty and juicy. Will try it again on site. If there is also Kraut and it is also convincing, then it will also be 5*

Even as a child, the Greek was a delicious go-to. With a new ambience and staff, the restaurant shines, friendly and charming. The service is attentive and the food is always delicious. The portions are not overloaded and it is not overly seasoned or too greasy, just right.

Severe attack of hunger in the middle of the move. Ordered quickly online. Delivered extremely quickly, super friendly driver. The food was fresh and hot, gyros and fries were crispy, souvlaki were grilled just right. So a clear recommendation from me and again at any time ;-)

Never again, that was so bad, actually almost a disgrace (it's a shame that you can't post without a star, I would have liked to have given no star)

Nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the pork on the skewer wasn't cooked through, and the liver was inedible/tough... It can happen, but they can't handle criticism. They said it's the way it's supposed to be and that's how it's delivered. I'm done with this place...

It was our second visit, and unfortunately a disappointment. The gyro was quite oily, the liver was tough, and the meat on the skewer wasn't cooked through. When we pointed this out to the staff, we received the response: "Liver is meant to be, and sometimes there are days like that." We won't be returning.

Oh my God. The atmosphere... But the guests were all relaxed. The food came out super fast. The meats were perfect. The fries were great, the minced meat with feta was super fluffy. The service was top-notch and they were really on the ball. The fact that the restaurant has a direct view of the highway... Screw it.

Apollon – named after the ancient Illyrian city in present-day Albania. The owner is definitely Albanian. I can't stand Albanians who pretend to be Greek or Italian. Why don't you open an Albanian shop with Albanian specialties? It tastes 1,000 times better and would be authentic. 😜

Today we tried the Apollon restaurant. Since you don't even want to chase the dog out the door in today's weather, we ordered delivery. We ordered the Achiles plate for 2 people. It was very sufficient for 2 people. My husband was allowed to eat both pieces of liver because I don't like it. He said she was good. The other pieces of meat were also very tasty and well seasoned. The rice was very tasty and I would have liked to have had more of it😜. As described, there was also a large farmer's salad. We tried it but put it in the fridge to eat tomorrow. We couldn't manage it anymore. So all in all, of course you have to make compromises when you get it delivered. Such as the temperatures or the crispiness of the fries. Nevertheless, it was very tasty and we will visit the restaurant next time Finally, I would like to say a word to the operator: If the black Styrofoam delivery boxes are intact, the food arrives hotter 😉

By far the worst Greek restaurant I've eaten at. The gyros was dry and tough, the thick fries were also dry, the Metaxa sauce had no taste at all, it tasted very milky, and the coleslaw was very sour and too wet.

Bifteki with metaxa sauce was very tasty. I liked the fact that Mythos is on tap. It's a bit like a vacation. The restaurant is partly equipped with comfortable seating such as: Sofas furnished.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever visited. We ordered a starter platter that was completely over salted. You could even see the salt crystals on the olives and the grilled peppers. After we commented about it and that we didn't even get a piece of bread, we were told that except for the mushrooms Nothing is salted and there is actually always bread. So we were portrayed as complainers for no reason. I have no understanding for such behavior on the part of the management. With today's prices in the catering industry, it can't be that the customer is paying a lot of money receives such poor quality. The starter costs €29.80

Ordered several times now using the restaurant's own ordering app. Fast delivery, friendly driver, large tasty portions. The food always arrives very hot. We don't like the fries, we are "fans" of the thin fries. But that's just a matter of taste.

Unfortunately disappointing and not recommended. The mixed starter plate for 2 people costs almost €30! What do you get for it? 2 large tablespoons of tzatziki, green olives, black olives, pickled peppers and a little feta. The “salad” beforehand is a plate of loveless coleslaw. The main course isn't convincing either. Small portions, not an exceptional taste experience and below average. The service responds to feedback with indifference, “because other guests are satisfied.”

We ate gyros and were thrilled with them. The first time, they were tender and without fat or gristle, so we went back again. Unfortunately, the second time, they weren't nice anymore. That's a shame because we're now looking elsewhere, dear owners very nice but the quality has to be right, everything gets more expensive and if you treat yourself to eating out then it has to be a nice experience and taste good, please don't be angry, we're just describing our feelings

Hello guys, I can only say that the food is great, came on time when ordered, was still hot, the fries weren't soggy and really huge fries, really good. There was free parking in front of the door, despite the fitness center being right next to the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant was very attractive, great ambience, beautiful colors. However, when I order a main course with sheep's cheese and farmer's salad, I expect a farmer's salad and not a salad garnish. The taste was okay, but with the few lettuce leaves it wasn't filling enough for a dish costing over 10 euros. The other dishes were okay. The prices are in the middle range. However, a beer 0.5 over 5 euros is not a bargain either. The service was very good. A bike stand was missing.

That was my first visit there. My colleague and I decided to go there on Saturday evening. We got a seat without a reservation because it was extremely empty there. That may also have been at the end of the month. We would receive friendly and quick service. The drinks and food came very quickly. The portions (mixed grill plate) were a good size and we were really full. The food met our expectations of Greek cuisine. As a small criticism, I would have liked tastier fries and a more stylish ambience.

We ordered by phone for delivery. Super nice lady who took our order. Delivery time was also really good 👍🏼 But that was it. We ordered 2x Gyros and 1x Olympus with 3 work colleagues. We don't want to say it was inedible, but no one ate it. The gyro meat was partially burnt, dry, and didn't look like real gyros as you know and actually expect. For us the food is really not recommended. We won't order there again either. A pity

The food is really good here and the service and staff are great too. The only thing that isn't so positive is the overall look. Everything looks a bit old.

Overpriced for the tiny portions that don't even taste good

The food was to die for. I had gyros, with a slight smoky note, which is intended grilled and simply tasted unique. The gyro was firm and not greasy. My friend had Metaxa sauce and was just as excited as I was. The souvlaki was nice and tender and very tasty. Likewise the fries, which in my opinion are homemade and also taste very good. The tzatziki as well... Even the coleslaw was my thing. I know it sounds or reads very exaggerated, but TOTALLY honest. . It was exactly the same and I will definitely order again or eat there. A big PRAISE to the chef!!! It was ordered via Lieferando, so I don't know what the service is like on site or the ambience. Ordered 2nd time, everything tasted great and delivered very quickly. Top service!!!

It used to be our favorite restaurant. Now we were here after a long time and probably won't come back. Considering the prices: The fries weren't hot and the portions were comparatively small. The distance to our neighbors is too small for us.

A relatively well located Greek restaurant on the B76. Unfortunately, the ambience is more like a motorway rest area than a restaurant, as it is located directly on the expressway. The service staff is mixed but mostly very friendly and accommodating. Food is relatively expensive considering the relatively small portions. The fries were very tasty (homemade). Unfortunately the onions were tasteless. The worst thing is that the meat was surprisingly bland. The typical Greek spice was clearly missing. Huge plus point: As far as I know, it is the only Greek restaurant in the area that actually offers Greek beer (Mythos) on tap. Absolutely great. Conclusion: If you're on the corner and get a spot spontaneously, give it a try. I would not recommend a specific visit.

Heute Mittag zum ersten Mal dort gewesen. Wir waren quasi alleine und konnten in Ruhe das Essen genießen. Ich hatte die Artemis Platte.. Alles extrem lecker und von der Menge gerade zu schaffen. Kaffee und Espresso auch sehr schmackhaft und stimmig. Ambiente angenehm mit tollen bequemen Sesseln. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und der Koch verdient die Note 1. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen. Danke an euch!!

Wir gehen hier immer wieder gerne hin, da die Qualität vom Fleisch wirklich top ist. Beim Gyros nicht ein Gramm Fett, kein Knorpel oder ähnliches. Das haben wir leider bei der Konkurrenz schon ganz anders erlebt. So lange die Qualität so bleibt, kommen wir immer wieder gerne.

Sehr schönes gepflegtes Restaurant, was sogar zur Mittagszeit geöffnet hat. Sehr familiär. Super nette Bedienung und hervorragendes Essen zu angemessenen Preisen. Ich kann die Kreta Platte wärmstens empfehlen. Mir hat sie wunderbar geschmeckt. Parkplätze direkt vor der Haustür.

Wenig besuchtes Restaurant direkt an der Kraftfahrtstraße. Den Straßenlärm im Restaurant kann man gut ausblenden. Das Personal ist freundlich. Das Essen wurde schnell zubereitet. Der Krautsalat hatte leider schon bessere Tage gehabt. Der Suzuki und der Reis hat nicht mein Geschmack getroffen. Die Pommes waren gut. Beim verlassen des Restaurants muß man aufpassen nicht von den Lieferanten überfahren zu werden.

Wie immer gutes Essen und freundliche Bedienung

Wir waren an einem Sonntag zu zweit zum Essen dort. Ein sehr nettes Personal empfing uns. Das Essen war eine riesige Portion. Doch leider war das Fleisch, der Hauptbestandteil auf dem Teller, total trocken und teilweise bitter und angebrannt. Giros war ledern. Der Fleischspieß war total trocken. Das Röstmuster auf dem Fleisch, war schwarz und schmeckte bitter. Die Leber glich einer Schuhsole. An den Koch: "es waren nur Gäste für 3 Tische im Restaurant, da sollte man das Fleisch doch hin bekommen. Einen Versuch werden wir noch mal bei Euch machen und hoffe, das wir nicht wieder enttäuscht werden.

Lange nicht hier gewesen. Hat sich viel verändert. Moderner, heller und frischer. Schöne Tische, schönes Geschirr. Prima! Das Essen, angefangen beim Krautsalat war wirklich gut. Krosse Pommes, prima Gyros und bestes Tsatsiki. Das passte alles. Anmerkung: Störend ist der Außer-Haus Verkauf. Alle paar Minuten wird Essen abgeholt und die Mitarbeiter konzentrieren sich eher darauf. Ich esse lieber im Restaurant und nicht aus der Styropor Packungen. Fazit: Blendet man mal die störende B76 aus, kann das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfohlen werden. Das Essen ist wirklich gut. Das Personal ist nicht sehr am Gast dran, aber so wie es ist, ist es noch OK. Preislich im Vergleich zu anderen passt es! Ergänzung: Beim zweiten Test merkte man deutlicher, dass das Lieferando-Geschäft wichtiger ist als der Gast im Gastraum. Man fühlt sich unwohl und von den Gastgebern merkt man nicht viel. So geht griechische Gastlichkeit nicht. Essen weiterhin gut - aber man fühlt sich nicht wohl. Daher nur noch eine eingeschränkte Empfehlung.

Meget lækkert mad, appetitlig servering. Store portioner, selv en lille salat er ret stor! Pænt og rent lokale, toiletterne ikke helt så lækre som restauranten men rene.

Sehr tolles Restaurant mit sehr leckern Speisen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Etwas ungünstig an der Schnellstraße gelegen, aber das Essen und Personal macht das alles wett. Man kommt gerne wieder. Unsere norwegischen Freunde waren begeistert. Ein dickes Dankeschön für das tolle Essen und die Bewirtung. Wir waren gern eure Gäste.

Wir haben online bei Apollon bestellt. In der Bestellung, hiss es bitte die Gerichte ogne Pommes und Reis, stattdessen bitte Salat. Wir haben über 45 Euro bezahlt fur 2 Gerichte und eine Vorspeise. Leider kamen die Gerichte mit Pommes und Reis. Das Fleisch war verkohlt. Lag wohl nicht das erste mal auf dem Grill. Es gab nur einen Beilagen eckel Krautsalat ais dem Eimer. Das Essen hat einfach nur eckelhaft geschmeckt. Zumal wurde auf unseren Wunsch nicht eingegangen. Pommes und Reis landeten leider im Müll. Ich kanndieses Restaurant nocht empfehlen. Es ist zu teuer für das was es liefert.

Wir waren das 1. mal im Apollon und bestimmt nicht zum letzten mal. Wir wurden sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen und die Servicekraft brauchte noch nicht einmal einen Zettel für unsere Bestellungen, sie hat sich alles korrekt gemerkt. Ist echt selten geworden. Meine Frau hatte Spanakopitakian und Saganaki und Tiramisu und war voll zufrieden und ich hatte den Korfu-Teller. Selten wenn überhaupt mal beim Griechen so ein tolles Fleisch gegessen. Die Leber war zart und überhaupt nicht sehnig, das gleiche beim Gyros und dem Souvlaki. Die Pommes waren knusprig und das Tsatsiki war lecker.

Das Restaurant bewirtet seine Gäste freundlich, schmackhaft, reichlich, sauber. Viele Gäste kommen aus dem Ortsteil. Wir werden dort gern wieder essen gehen. Leider nicht Bio.

Bisher hatte ich leider nur die Gelegenheit mir etwas liefern zu lassen von diesen Restaurant. Beim ersten Mal nahm ich noch an, dass das Essen unverhältnismäßig teuer wäre und "wieso muss ich hier eigentlich bis zu mir 25,- Euro Midnestbestellwert zahlen?!" Aufgrund mehrerer Empfehlungen von Freunden und Kollegen versucht ich es dann aber dennoch und ich muss festhalten: -> schmeckt griechisches Essen am Besten wenn es direkt frisch an den Tisch gebracht wird? -> natürlich Aber ich habe bis heute noch keinen besseren Griechen mit Lieferservice erlebt und ich habe bisher schon in knapp 12 Städten gelebt. Das Essen war trotz einer selbst gestoppten Fahrtzeit von mindestens 14 Minuten, nach Bestellung innerhalb von 36 Minuten da, eine extra-Schicht Alu-Folie sorgte dann auch dafür, dass alles heiß geblieben ist. Es war wirklich unglaublich gut und jeden Cent wert!! Zum Essen: bestellt bzw. getestet wurden inzwischen: Gyros, Bifteki, Krautsalat, Pommes, Reis, Tzatziki, Peperonie und Metaxa-Soße. die Metaxa-Soße war wirklich richtig schmackhaft, das Tzatziki ist ganz offensichtlich auch hausgemacht und super lecker (auch wenn meiner persönlichen Meinung nach eine Idee weniger Dill gut wäre, aber trotzdem super lecker). Die "kalte Vorspeise" Peperonie war mehr als reichlich, genau so wie insgesamt die Portionen! Wer hier nicht satt wird, dem kann man auch nciht mehr helfen. :-D Kritik: Wenn ich wirklich etwas kritisieren müsste, dann wären es nur sehr wenige Sache. Meiner Meinung nach vertrüge die "Portion Tzatziki + Fladenbrot" etwas mehr des leckeren Brotes. Und der zwar leckere Reis würde für mich persönlich, ginge dieser mehr in Richtung Tomatenreis, ein noch leckereres Level erreichen. Das sind aber absolut Kleinigkeiten und ich hoffe, dass dieses Restaurant noch lange bis zu mir in Kiel liefern wird :-D

Waren heute, nach einiger Zeit( auch Corona bedingt) mal wieder mit unserem Gutscheinheft unterwegs. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht....waren schon öfter mal im Appolon..und auch diesmal wieder alles bestens!😃 Ein ganz großes Lob an die nette, zuvorkommende Bedienung...wir kommen wieder...und auch das neue Ambiente gefiel uns sehr gut.

Wir wollten Essen bestellen ohne irgendeinen Lieferdienst zu kontaktieren, unsere Wahl fiel auf griechisch Essen und somit auf das Apollon!!! Wir konnten dort direkt bestellen, kurze Lieferzeit, Chef persönlich lieferte aus, günstigerer Preis erhalten und vor allem alle beteiligten sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Meine Freundin hatte paniert und frittierten Käse mit Salat und sie war sehr zufrieden. Wir hatten zwei Grillteller bestellt, Leber optimal ist rechtzeitig vom Grill genommen worden genauso wie alle anderen griechischen Fleischspezialitäten, Essen super temperiert, optisch ansprechend und nicht fettig und alles hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt!!! Kleine Sonderbestellung/Änderung ohne Problem. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden wieder bestellen oder direkt ins Restaurant gehen!!! Vielen Dank!!!
