Good restaurant with a good selection of food. Friendly and attentive service (our glasses were almost empty) and a slightly rustic ambience that is reminiscent of old times with the appropriate musical accompaniment. My favorite would be the mixed grill plate. But the schnitzels should also taste good. And the beer and wine selection is not extensive, but it is good.

Apparently the owners have changed recently, the Sarajevo has been unrecognizable in terms of quality since then and is a real surprise. Here you can get fantastic tasting food at fair prices and with good portions. The hospitality is extremely accommodating and very nice. If you don't eat here, you're missing out. Biggest compliments to the owners and see you soon.

For the second time in a short time (after a long time) we went back to eat in Sarajevo and were absolutely satisfied!! The somewhat old-fashioned ambience was charmingly smiled away by the service ladies and made up for with sensationally courteous service and the food was convincing all on its own! Large, delicious portions and the house lemonade is super delicious and lovingly prepared! We will be back!!

We were in Nuremberg for three days. The Sarajevo was close to our hotel. The food there is really really good and very plentiful. The homemade lemonade tastes great. We went there again on the second evening. The two young women who serve the guests are very friendly and accommodating. We can fully recommend this small restaurant.

Service very friendly. Unfortunately, the food can no longer be compared to what it used to be. Portions have become smaller, but more expensive. Unfortunately, this is a trend that is becoming more and more common.

Absolutely recommended. We were on a short trip and had dinner in the beer garden. Absolutely lovely ladies who do the service, politeness and hospitality are very important there. Many a restaurant could learn a lesson from this. The food was great and came quickly and in large portions. If you want to eat authentic Croatian food, this is the place for you. If I could I would give 10 stars just for the hospitable nature

Very nice place and extremely friendly service. The girl who served the food is the best. Talkative and smiling all the time. Everything fine. Portion of food was preety ok, price avarage to high... but c'mon... normal bread (Lidl/Edeka style) next to Cevapcici? First time in my life to eat that in this way. Also it's important the meat was not beef/pork as usually... i think was sheep which is not my favorite. Unfortunately I forget to take a picture to see the bread 🥖 which is absolutely destroyed everything:)

If I had given my review a year ago, it could have been 5 stars. Why only 2 stars now? Basically, all dishes are 20 to 25% more expensive than last year, but at the same time the portions are smaller and the quality of the dishes has deteriorated. We didn't take any starters after my previous favorite was about 25% more expensive. My previous favorite main course has “only” become 20% more expensive, but the portion has become significantly smaller. So is e.g. For example, the salad was about a third smaller and consisted almost entirely of lettuce with dressing. The main course should consist of 4 slices of meat. Last year they weren't at least 1 cm thick, this year they were cut to just 3 mm with the slicing machine. With the result that the meat was completely dry. The cevapcici were totally over salted. The highlight should have been my dessert. Last year I had 3 large baked apple rings in cinnamon and sugar with vanilla ice cream, good cream and a caramel sauce that was so good I could have bathed in it. What did I get this year? 3 small apple rings, I didn't even know that there were such small apple rings, with vanilla ice cream that tasted like mass-produced goods from the supermarket, spray cream from a can that didn't taste that good and had already collapsed, no cinnamon, no sugar . And the worst part for me, no caramel sauce. Here too it is 25% more expensive. I don't need to mention my girlfriend's food here. The price for a beer at 3.80 euros is totally fine, the wine spritzer for 5.50 euros is too much in my opinion. The service is absolutely positive and worth at least 5 stars. Very, very nice, always there if you have a request. Overall I can only give it 2 stars. And if you don't reconsider your prices and portion sizes, we'll go somewhere else in the future. I'm really sorry, we've been with you a lot over the last few years.

We tried cevapcici. Meat was very tasty, but it came with buggette from the market, which was a little bit disappointing. There is a proper bread (lepinja) that must come with cevapcici. You simply can't serve buggette with cevapcici! Service was super friendly and restorana is very cozy, beer garden style. Overall recommended.

The restaurant is unassuming from the outside, but it's worth recommending. The Balkan cuisine is really tasty and the service is super friendly. We'd love to come back.

A wonderful, charming young waitress, who was incredibly nice when we made the reservation over the phone, greeted us when we arrived and showed us the table that had already been set. The furnishings are old-fashioned, but clean and tidy, and the real plants in the dining room are well cared for. The drinks came quickly and our little extra request when ordering food wasn't a big deal. We decided to have a shared grill plate. The side salad came quickly to the table, cleanly cleaned leaf lettuce, 2 slices of cucumber and a little beetroot, carrot salad and white cabbage. No onions and no tomatoes (both of which I personally think are good, tomatoes in winter are just expensive and don't taste great, so you can safely leave them out). Unfortunately, the dressing was pretty dominant here, so there wasn't much of the salad left to taste. Then the nice waitress came and put two hot plates (hallelujah, how great is that) and a warming plate on the table. The grill platter we ordered contained an incredible amount of fries, which we would have liked to have left in the deep fryer a little longer, vegetable rice (a bit spicy and overcooked) and refried beans with chunks of bacon (also no longer al dente). Unfortunately, the green asparagus that was on the menu was missing. When asked, it was said that the absence was seasonal... hmmmm, but it is taken into account all year round. The beef was barely medium rare and really tender. The bacon slices were well fried, not too fried. The cevapcici could have been homemade. Pork and the skewers were generally ok, but everything wasn't really seasoned and had no kick. There was also a dollop of ajvar. We had our “leftover” meat packed up, the meat is still good to eat cold (with BBQ sauce & mustard)! We found it a shame that the asparagus was missing and that there was no real reaction to it, despite our timely request. The toilets (D) are old but clean and everything you need is there. The parking situation is difficult, in the middle of a lively area, with many shops. But we were already offered the spot in the driveway over the phone. But the restaurant can't help with the lack of parking spaces 😉

The restaurant is just so cozy and loving, we felt very comfortable. The service staff were so extremely friendly and sweet, it was exceptionally nice! The food was quick, the portion was really big and tasty. Thank you for a lovely evening with you :) greetings from the Palatinate

From the invitation to the table reservation in the restaurant, the entry, the service, the politeness and the excellent food. Big portion. The prices in the restaurant are also surprisingly normal. An honest recommendation to anyone who wants to eat well.

A bit retro, but it's nice that the "Yugoslav" still exists around the corner. Very friendly, personable service, as was the landlord. The food was good, I got what I expected. Hang in there during this difficult time, especially for restaurateurs and businesses.

Nog een echt authentiek restaurant! Dat zie je ook als je binnen komt. 😃 Bediening heel vriendelijk en huiselijk. Ete was top! De borden waren rijkelijk gevuld zoals de glazen wijn 👌 Ik onthoud deze moest ik nog een in de buurt zijn!

A cozy restaurant where you feel at home as soon as you enter. The service is so sweet and friendly, I wish I had packed it. So the service is excellent. The food was very tasty and well priced. They are careful to please the guests and make an effort to make them happy. We'll definitely be back. It is very rare to experience such hospitality these days. I can only recommend if you are looking for good food and good service, you will find it there.

Absolute recommendation!!! We didn't have a reservation, but we still got a table for 5 people. Everyone was super nice and very accommodating. Special requests were fulfilled even though there was really a lot going on. Absolutely cheap trip. We liked it very much!!!

Das erste mal war ich 1980 +/- in diesem Restaurant. Es hat sich nichts geändert. Die Speisen sind reichlich und gut, könnten meiner Meinung nach etwas mehr Würze vertragen (meine Meinung). Der Service ist super nett, schnell, da passt alles. Gerne wieder.

Essen und Trinken hat mir gut gefallen. Der Laden ist schön urig und bequem.

Sehr schöner Ort auch mit mehreren Personen. Essen köstlich.

Wir waren letzte Woche 2 mal in Restaurant essen. Super nette Bedienung und das Essen war spitze

Wir waren heute spontan zu zweit im Biergarten und haben super lecker gegessen. Die Bedienung war total freundlich und gut gelaunt. Wir haben ein Rumpsteak (Nr. 55) sowie ein Filetsteak (Nr. 56) bestellt und können einwandfrei sagen, dass dass die besten Steaks waren die wir jemals gegessen haben!! Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt genau gegart, saftig und super zart gebraten. Ein absoluter Hochgenuss. Nur das rustikale Ambiente draußen ( einfache Holzmöbel ohne Tischsets oder -decken) wollte nicht so recht zu dem perfekten Essen passen. Uns hat es trotzdem gefallen! Hätten auch mehr als die hier möglichen Sterne vergeben! Danke für den absolut perfekten Gaumenschmaus zum Abschluss eines tollen Tages! Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder!

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes aber sehr gutes Gasthaus super Service und Preis Leistung top uns hat's super geschmeckt

Hatte keine große Erwartungen, war aber positiv überrascht! Ich habe sarma bestellt, Krautwickel aus Sauerkraut, war sehr lecker, wie daheim bei Mama. Meine Begleitung hatte Garnelen in Speckmantel mit Reis. Schade dass es kein Butterreis war. In der Speisekarte stand Scampi , dabei waren es Garnelen. Trotzdem lecker! Zum Schluss haben wir noch ćevapčići probiert. Muss sagen, habe bessere, aber auch viel schlechtere gegessen. Finde dass das Preis Leistungsverhältnis Verhältnis passt. Wir kommen wieder!

Onderweg naar Oostenrijk hebben we in Nürnberg overnacht en hier gegeten. Jammer dat het zo ver van Nederland ligt, anders kwam ik hier elke week! 😁 We hebben genoten van het heerlijke eten en de sfeer in de gezellige Biergarten. Ook het personeel was top. Dikke aanrader!

Onion soup was really good but i cant say same thing for fish plate it was really oily and not tasty and not many options if you dont eat pork most of the food was pork even the ones normally made from beef like cevapcici

Nettes Restaurant, guter Service. Das Essen hätte besser gewürzt sein können. Das Fleisch war etwas fettig,, der Reis etwas flüssig. Das Ambiente hat den Charme der 79er Jahre. Insgesamt hat er aber geschmeckt.

Netter Hinterhof zum sitzen im Sommer das Essen aber leider eher durchschnittlich.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist gastfreundlich und sehr nett. Und das Essen ist, wie immer, das leckerste. Sie haben eine große Auswahl. Es gibt auch schöne Gerichte vom Grill. Wer kein Schweinefleisch isst, für den gibt es Ramstek, Filestek, Gefülltes Hähnchen mit Spinat und Schafskäse, Gemüsepfanne, Gemüseschnitzel, Truthahnschnitzel, Nudeln mit Meeresfrüchten, Fisch, Linsen, Sopska-Salat, gebackene Champignons... und Beilagen können immer verändert sein. Alles ist sehr lecker und ich empfehle, dass Sie es selbst probieren und sich selbst überzeugen. :)

Sehr leckeres Essen. Ich hatte die gegrillte Dorade und mein Mann hatte eine gemischte Platte, beides war geschmacklich sehr gut. Tomatenreis wurde ohne Berechnung nachgereicht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Das Essen war gut. Die Preise angemessen. Der Service leider etwas gestresst sodass leere Gläser leer blieben. Den obligatorischen Slivo gab es leider nicht. Echt schade!

Haben zuerst Rotwein bestellt es kam Weisswein,wurde umgehend berichtigt, das Hackflwisch war noch roh, wurde nachgebraten. Nachdem wir dann noch ein Helles und einen Kaffee bestellten kam die Bedienung nach 5 Min fragte nochmal nach, dann tat sich über 15 Min nichts, als wir dann bescheid sagten, kam kurz darauf ein lauwarmer Espresso. Total verpeilt,sorry

Ich kann absolut nichts schlechtes bemerken. Waren schon das zweite Mal da und haben dort wieder einen schönen Abend verbracht und hochwertigem Essen! Für Vegetarier gibt es auch eine gute Auswahl. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Als Nachspeise kann ich den karamellisierten Palatschinken sehr empfehlen!!😍

We visited this Restaurant just today and i was impressed with the quality of the food. A huge variety of food was available and all dishes were delicious. We had the schnitzel, a selection from the grill, the chicken and the french onion soup. The soup was top notch, and the schnitzels were meaty on the inside and not very flat with just the right coating on the outside and very tender. The chicken had a sort of cheesy and spinach filling, it was juicy with a side of croquettes and just delicious. Big portions, very helpful and friendly waitress, she very kindly translated the menu for us to english as it was in German. The atmosphere was really cosy and welcoming. Highly recommended.
