Nawroz Grillhaus in Nürnberg

So service is a disaster Had to get my drinks myself because it took so long. After he serves my food (part) I've already eaten my fill when the waiter brings me my rice to the table very late. Here you have to order your rice separately from the grill plate. Never again !!!

Been there several times, the food is great. Service is also very good! Everyone is very accommodating, the food doesn't vary and is always of a high standard. But you should eat locally, it's always better, everything is fresh and much better! Unfortunately prices have risen a bit

I came from Berlin and here were the best breads, the best grilled dishes, salads and ayran I have ever eaten in my life. I had a great time and enjoyed it. And the prices are so affordable that I definitely recommend it. And the owners and staff are also very caring. Thank you very much for everything.

It was truly amazing, from the bread to the ayran and kebabs. Normally, I live in Adana. 1 star. I am on a business trip in Europe and I have literally never seen anything like this in Europe. Forget Europe, Kaburgacı Yaşar Usta clearly competes with its restaurants. If you go to Nünberg, definitely eat it... The prices were also reasonable, if you eat dürüm kebab, it costs 8 Euros, if you get service, Adana + Ayran costs 16.5.

Nawroz-Kebap. The lamb meat on the spit was delicious. In my opinion, not much importance is attached to accessories. I don't want to write romance novels: I didn't feel any special culinary delight. Considering that I ate a maximum of 250g of lamb meat with burnt tomatoes and some vegetables and 30 cent bread (way too much and unhealthy!), €17 for this service was poor. I will not consider 5 star reviews from people who know nothing about food. Still, I think 3 stars is fair considering the service and price. I won't eat there again. Thank you for your attention.

Seriously, I think all the strange 1 star reviews are from other restaurants or the operator has an angry friend 🤣 At least it's not the food. I've been eating here for years and it's just so unbelievably good. I always get really excited before we go. A few people have also posted pictures from time to time of what the food looks like. It makes me really angry that there are so many stupid reviews. That's simply not true. Unreserved recommendation!

I was recently in this restaurant and unfortunately I cannot recommend it. The food is way too expensive compared to other restaurants in the area. As if that wasn't enough, they even charged extra money for the sauce that usually comes with the kebab! This is absolutely outrageous and has greatly tarnished my overall impression.

Unfortunately it's gotten worse, but it's more expensive. You get cold bread even though the bread is praised like that ;)

Worst place I've been to in three days of travel

The kebab is very delicious but I have to wait a little more than usual. But it deserves the wait. ❤❤

We made a reservation for iftar and our order was not taken. Two tables came after us and the order was taken before us. We waited an hour for our food.! Little staff. More staff should be hired. Despite all the waiting, our food came out cold bread cold.

Owner evidently wanted to go home early. Should have said it and we would have gone somewhere else. Poor meals served with stale bread. Door locked behind us as we left. (2hours early).

Immer wenn ich in Nürnberg bin (komme aus Köln) ,ist es schon Tradition bei Nawroz zu essen.Wir lieben das frisch gebackene Brot , das Kebab,den Reis und das Ayran ...diesmal hab ich zum erstmal Birjani gegessen und auch das war sehr gut. Ich mag die Irakische Küche und beim nächsten mal komme ich an einem Freitag damit ich Dolma essen kann. Ich kenne das Lokal schon über 20 Jahre und 3 Standorte und freue mich über die positive Entwicklung (damals war es am kohlenhof und eine Art Treffpunkt für die Irakischen jungen die sich bei Nawroz ein Stück Muttis Küche gegönnt haben .Ich weiß gar nicht ob der Inhaber noch der selbe ist )

المشاوي الفاخرة واللذيذة و الجلسة المميزة ، زيارتي لمطعم وكباب نوروز كانت فعلاً متعة ، حيث المأكولات الشهية والكباب العراقي اللذيذ ، يستحق خمس نجوم .

Perfektes Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Kann ich jedem weiterempfehlen der die Orientalische Küche mag. Die Wartezeiten sind bisschen länger aber dafür auch eine Top Leistung. Adana mit Ayran meine Empfehlung ❤️❤️

Sehr leckeres und preiswertes Essen !

Zufällig auf den Laden gestoßen und war sehr positiv beeindruckt. Das Fleisch sowie die Suppen sind super. Mitarbeiter sind auch freundlich.

Good Quality food with Iraqi taste. Especially the tanour bread. The price is also very fair. We will surely visit again. The naan served in Vorspeise is very fresh and delicious. It would be best if you serve some sauce also along with naan as Vorspeise.

Ich als Türkin aus Adana kann nur sagen wenn ich bei Nawroz esse fühlt es sich an wie ein Stück Heimat !! Das beste Fleisch in Nürnberg !!!

Gute 3 Sterne leider Qualität sehr schwankend deswegen nur 3 Sterne, wenns doch mal gut ist dann eher 4-5 was essen angeht, Ambiente ist ok, aber nicht entspannt vorallem wenns vom ist. Personal ist bemüht, Verständigung ist manchmal schwer

Wer die Orientalische Küche liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Alles frisch zubereitet vor allem das frische Brot ein Traum 👌

Sehr sehr leckere Küche, aufmerksamer Service. Das Ambiente läd eher nicht zum Verweilen ein, sehr hellhörig, viel Durchlauf, nicht so sauber. Nichts desto trotz, war es sehr lecker.

It was introduced by my two friends. I really like the food. Do try the special Nawroz kebap and also the lamm with rice. They have a nice collection on of soups. Clean and hygienic. Staff is also friendly. Its worthy to spend bucks instead of Mcd or KFC.

Wir waren hier schon 2mal essen, das Essen war immer sehr lecker, egal welches Gericht. Auch die Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten ist groß. Das selbstgemachte Brot ist super!! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Alles super ,Kurdisch Irakisch wie ich es verstanden habe. Nur das die Bedienung aussieht wie ein haufen Bahnhofs pennern.. Vielleicht saubere dienstkleidung einführen? Essen Top!!!5 sterne

Das Ambiente, sowie die Sauberkeit hat mich mehr als nur beeindruckt. Als Vorspeise kann ich die Lammsuppe jedem ans Herz legen. Für 2€ bekommt man hier eine Suppe kredenzt, welche vom Geschmack her alles was ich bisher kannte übertroffen hat. Die Fleisch-, sowie Gemüsegerichte sind ein Genuß. Vor allem werden diese in Ruhe Nicht Industriell hergestellt. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist hervorragend.

Ich war mit meiner Schwester zum Essen dort. Da ich das alte Nawroz noch gut in Erinnerung hatte, hab ich dieses Lokal vorgeschlagen. Essen selber war gut und der Laden sauber. Was uns sehr gewundert hat war, dass die Leute zu Corona Zeiten ohne Maske rein und raus laufen und keiner irgendetwas dazu gesagt hat. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass der Kellner genervt ist, wenn man ihn auf was fehlendes aufmerksam macht. Anstatt zwei Brote haben wir nur eins bekommen. Für zwei Spieße Lamm haben wir je 11,00€ bezahlt und dann die Beilage Reis / Pommer nochmal extra pro Portion 4,00€. Bei allem nötigen Respekt 11,00€ nur für zwei Spieße empfinde ich als Wucher. Da gehen wie lieber zu unserem Lieblingstürken um die Ecke und bezahlen komplett 25,00€ inkl. Getränke. Schade...
