Restaurant Ratskeller in Bernkastel-Kues

Das Essen war gut,aber für die Art von Gerichten war es uns zu teuer.

Mega schlechter Service, da hilft auch keine Dior Kette am Hals. Wir hätten viel mehr getrunken aber die beiden Service Kräfte stehen lieber am Eingang und haben ihr Handy in der Hand. Die Tische nebenan sahen das genau so.

In den 90er Jahren waren wir mit Freunden Stammgäste in Bernkastel und Umgebung. Gutes Essen und Wein, typische Einrichtung 👍

Ein sehr unfreundlicher Kellner; ein griesgrämiger Mann, der Kunden anblafft.

Die Bedienung war freundlich aber das Essen nicht so toll.

...es fing so an...das der erste bestellte Wein nicht mehr vorrätig war...OK kann passieren...haben dann einen anderen bestellt...später dazu noch was...zum Essen habe ich mir ein Cordon Bleu mit Pilzrahmsosse bestellt...für ein Gericht 27.90€...kann man ein bischen was erwarten...das Fleisch war teilweise zäh und hart...die Pilzrahmsosse war einfach nur wässrig...so kommen wir zur Rechnung...der erste bestellte Wein...der nicht mehr vorrätig war stand auf der Rechnung und der bekommene Wein...war 1.80€ teurer berechnet...normalerweise schauen wir den Bon nicht nach...diesmal war es aber gut...naja da habe ich wohl zuviel erwartet...wir gehen sehr häufig Essen...meins war dieses Mal nicht gut...schade

Der Ratskeller ist ein schönes modernes Restaurant mit einer netten Speisekarte und einer guten Weinauswahl. Die beiden Servicekräfte machten einen fachlich unkompetenten Eindruck. Neue Gäste wurden von weitem mit einem Kopfnicken begrüßt und so auch den Tischen zugewiesen. Mit 20 Gästen waren die beiden an ihren Grenzen. Es war den beiden auch nicht möglich zwischendurch nach zu fragen ob es noch Wünsche gibt… das Essen war gut und nett angerichtet. Gelerntes Personal mit geschultem Auge würde dem Lokal gut tun.

Ich habe in der Altstadt von Bernkastel-Kues köstlich gegessen. Besonders die Pasta mit Garnelen war hervorragend.

Wir waren heute dort - hatten uns im Vorfeld schon die Karte im Internet angeschaut und hatten uns auf den Abend sehr gefreut . Wir wussten also bevor wir hin sind schon dass die Preise etwas höher sind aber das war für uns total ok - BIS ZU DEM ZEITPUNKT ALS DAS ESSEN KAM … Lokal super schön aber geschmacklich leider enttäuschend.. Fleisch (Steak und Pute ) war gut gebraten jedoch war ALLES AUF DEN TELLERN ungewürzt und ohne Geschmack.. und leider konnte man auch nicht selbst nachwürzen .. man bekam seine Teller auf einer Platte welche das Essen warm halten soll jedoch wurde darauf auch die Schale Salat und dip abgestellt und somit sehr warm serviert . Bedienung war sehr fordernd und kam 2 Sekunden nach dem öffnen der Karte um das Essen aufzunehmen- als wir noch unschlüssig waren ging sie kurz und kam promt wieder und beharrte fast auf ein schnelles entscheiden. Leider eine Enttäuschung da viel erwartet aufgrund des Lokals und der Preise .. leider schlecht investierte 100€ ..

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe (8 Erwachsene und 2 Kleinkinder) zum Abendessen im Lokal. Das Personal war freundlich und nett. Das Essen war lecker in passender Größe.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend im Ratskeller in Bernkastel-Kues. Das Essen war köstlich, frisch und wunderschön angerichtet. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und authentisch – perfekt für einen entspannten Abend. Besonders gut haben uns die traditionellen deutschen Gerichte und die exzellente Weinauswahl gefallen. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die Bernkastel-Kues besuchen – wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, aber insgesamt war es trotzdem ein enttäuschendes Erlebnis. Wir hatten Schnitzel mit Champignons, Salat und Pommes, Bier und Cola Zero bestellt. Bier und Cola Zero waren gut (die Cola Zero war eine deutsche Nachahmung, aber in Ordnung). Der Salat war okay und hatte ein gutes Dressing, aber Schnitzel und Pommes waren furchtbar trocken und versalzen, und die Champignonsauce war geschmacklos und fad. Am Ende blieb fast nur der Salzgeschmack übrig. Das Lokal ist ganz nett, und auch das Personal ist freundlich. Aber das Essen hat großes Verbesserungspotenzial.

Die Auslastung des Lokals war überschaubar – leider galt das auch für Motivation und Freundlichkeit des Servicepersonals. Wir nahmen draußen Platz, um ein Glas Weißwein zu trinken. Eine Getränkekarte bekamen wir nicht, stattdessen wurden wir direkt gefragt, was wir bestellen möchten. Auf unsere höfliche Nachfrage, welche Weißweine angeboten werden – schließlich lag uns keine Karte vor – konnte die Bedienung nur 2 Sorten aufzuzählen und gab dann auf. Unsere Bitte nach einer Karte wurde mit einem genervten Abgang quittiert; zurück kam allerdings niemand mehr. Nach fünf Minuten sind wir dann nebenan ins „Bitchen“ gegangen. Das kann ich übrigens sehr empfehlen – also das Nachbarlokal.

If you want bad food paired with lousy wine, all with a side of rude and condescending attitude, while paying through the nose, this place is for you. In all other cases, give it a wide berth. Vermeiden, wenn man glaubt in einem Restaurant zu sein. Es ist ein Gastronomie-Albtraum in einem der schönsten Gebäude der Stadt. Das Essen, der Service, sogar die „Gemälde“ können PTSD auslösen.

Sehr sehr schönes Lokal. Der Service war sehr nett, schnell und freundlich. Das Essen war wirklich erstklassig.

Wir wurden von meiner Tochter zum Muttertag eingeladen als Überraschung. Das Essen war mega lecker und absolut ausreichend. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. 😊 Definitiv weiter zu empfehlen!

Das einzig Positive war das Essen aus der Küche, Lob an den Koch. Ansonsten war’s schwierig, beginnend mit der Kommunikation, die Bedienung war bemüht bei der Aufnahme der Essensbestellung, trotzdem wurde das falsche Steak gebracht. Das Angebot auf der Speisekarte sorgte bei der Bezahlung für Verwirrung und Diskussionen. Hinzu kam, dass die vermutliche Chefin nicht kulant war und beleidigend wurde beim verlassen des Lokals. Wir müssen uns nicht als Strohdumm vor anderen Gästen beleidigen lassen, nur weil Ihre Karte schlecht verständlich aufgestellt ist und uns dies bei der Bestellung nicht mitgeteilt wurde. Das Motto der Kunde ist König wird hier im Haus anders interpretiert. Gerne nie wieder!!!

Es war ein fantastischer BBQ-Burger. Direkt neben dem Haus, das in Harry Potter zu sehen war. Viele Leute haben Fotos gemacht. Die Kellner waren supernett und es war toll, die Leute auf dem Platz zu beobachten. Zurück zum Burger: Er war der Hammer! Ein großes Patty und frisches Gemüse. Super Pommes. Kleiner Tipp: Fragt nach extra Servietten, denn er ist sehr saftig.

Das Essen war spitze und sehr heiß.Der Salat dazu mit einem sehr guten Dressing.1 Stern ziehe ich leider ab weil die Tür während des Essens offen stand und es leicht gezogen hat.Ansonsten super auch die freundlichen kellner.

Essen war gut. Service total schlecht. Kellner sind mit allem überfordert und sehr unaufmerksam. Für das Preisniveau steht die Qualität und insbesondere der Service in keinem Verhältnis.

Ganz doll traurig. Tisch zum Essen um 1530 Uhr reserviert. Begrüßt wurden wir mit...Küche hat bis 17 Uhr geschlossen. Mega unfreundlich. Wir gehen gerne auf der ganzen Welt essen, so etwas unfreundliches haben wir noch nie erlebt.

Waren gestern Abend dort. Der Kellner war zunächst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Forelle war ungenießbar Auf unsere Reklamation hin kam als Antwort "ich gebe es in der Küche weiter" - keine Entschuldigung einfach null. Abgerechnet wurde voll, Trinkgeld null! Restaurant leider nicht zu empfehlen!!!

Der Service bei unserer Ankunft war mittelmäßig. Man machte ein großes Aufhebens darum, dass wir nicht reserviert hatten, obwohl reichlich Platz war. Auch für Gäste, die nach uns ankamen. Es gab einen riesigen Teller Pasta mit nur wenigen Pilzen etc. Es war hauptsächlich Pasta, genug für drei Personen statt für eine.

Warum Ausländer oft glauben, dass Deutsche unhöflich sind? Hier findet man eine mögliche Antwort. Man wird von überaus direkten Sprüchen, eher spärlichem Service und einer extrem robusten Gangart auf eine emotionale Berg- und Talfahrt geschickt – fast wie in einer leicht dysfunktionalen Beziehung zum Lunch. Denn was dem Service an Feingefühl fehlt, macht die Küche wieder wett und erzeugt so in Summe ein durchschnittliches Restaurant-Erlebnis. Das Essen ist nämlich wirklich lecker. Wenn du dich nun also auch hier hin zum Essen traust – vielleicht trotz der ein oder anderen Kritik zum Service, die online inzwischen auf wundersame Weise unsichtbar geworden ist –, dann mach es so wie wir und verbünde dich mit allen anderen Gästen. Sobald das Personal nämlich den Speisesaal verlässt, wird an den Tischen ausgiebig über das Erlebte getratscht, was das Zeug hält. Eine wirklich schöne Beschäftigung, während man auf das leckere Essen wartet!

Super unfreundlicher, überheblicher und belehrender Kellner. Da ist ein Stern noch Zuviel!

Wir haben dort mit drei Personen gegessen. Hatten vorab einen Tisch bestellt.Man hieß uns herzlich willkommen. Essen war sehr lecker. Mein Mann hatte einen Wein bestellt und die nette Restaurantfachfrau hat ihm den Wein gezeigt und erklärt , was es für ein Wein ist und woher er kommt. Wr hatten einen schönen Tisch am Fenster, wobei jeder Tisch gut ist . Einen Lob an den Koch .... es war sehr lecker und alles frisch. Und noch ein Lob , an die nette Restaurantfachfrau...... sie machen einen super Job.

Okay, wahrscheinlich in der Urlaubszeit besser Service war okay, Speisen okay, mein Essen leider zu überwürzt.

Die Qualität der Speisen ist sehr gut. Die Portionen waren ausreichend und sehr lecker. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Location ist der Hammer. Ich kann dieses Restaurant mit ruhigem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Ein kleines Restaurant im Zentrum von Bernkastel-Kues. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und engagiert. Das Essen war schnell serviert und lecker. Die Getränke waren kühl und schnell serviert. Es sind keine Parkplätze am Lokal vorhanden.

Es war wirklich sehr gut! Ich hatte Nudeln mit Hühnchen und sie waren superlecker. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der in diese Stadt kommt! Es war außerdem ziemlich günstig für zwei Personen.

Sehr unfreundlicher, fast schon unverschämter Service.

Tolles Restaurant mit einem richtig tollen Ambiente. Die Örtlichkeit bietet viele Details, die man während dem Aufenthalt dort entdecken kann. Freundliches Personal, leckere hausgemachte Limonaden und ein wirklich gutes Essen. Ich hatte den Salat mit Ziegenkäse, den ich nur weiteremppfehlen kann. Super lecker!

Der Service war für das gehobene Ambiente unterkühlt und nicht freundlich. Wir hatten für 19 Uhr einen Tisch und waren aber deutlich früher da und fragten höflich, ob schon ein Tisch frei wäre. Uns wurde dann bott ein Tisch gezeigt. Wir haben uns die ganze Zeit als Störung empfunden, da die anderen Tische mit einem Lächeln und Spaß bedient wurden und uns das Essen nur hingestellt wurde ohne ein "Bitte" oder "Danke". Das Essen war leider auch nicht gut. Die Pommes waren hart und der Rahmsoße fehlte geschmacklich der Rahm. Keine Weiterempfohlung unsererseits.

Appetizer: Bruschetta. Three beautifully toasted baguette slices topped with tomato, onion, spring onion, and a touch of chili. A wonderfully flavorful and delicious dish. It was drizzled with mild olive oil. Main course: Hawaiian schnitzel. I'd never had it before and was curious to see if it would work. And I wasn't disappointed. A perfectly cooked, large schnitzel. Two slices of pineapple and hollandaise sauce. Topped with cranberries. Absolutely delicious. The fries were nice and thick and crispy. Not those thin ones like at McDonald's... The server that day (November 20, 2025) was a very friendly and efficient young woman. Before the main course arrived directly after the appetizer, she charmingly and calmly asked if we could continue right away or if I, as a guest, would like a short break. Very nice. That's how you relax while enjoying good food. Highly recommended.

The food itself was delicious and more than enough. The service was cold and impersonal. I couldn't crack a smile. The atmosphere in the restaurant was correspondingly pleasant.

Nachdem unser Tisch nicht reserviert war, wurde das Problem schnell behoben. Getränke dauerten etwas länger, aber die Essengerichte wurden relativ schnell serviert. Alle Gerichte waren geschmacklich hervorragend, das Fleisch war zart, der Fisch war gut gewürzt und die Salate knackig mit einer guten Vinaigrette. Wir würden wieder dort reservieren.

Probably the best restaurant in town. The service, cuisine, and ambiance are all of the highest quality. Guests are truly pampered here. A truly impressive restaurant.

Das Fleisch (wir hatten Schweineschnitzel und Putenschnitzel) war hervorragend. Die Sauce am Salat  war etwas dickflüssig und hat uns nicht so sehr geschmeckt. Die Pommes hätten noch ein 2 Minuten länger gebraucht, damit sie knusprig sind. Der Service am Tisch war kompetent und sehr freundlich.

I've rarely eaten such delicious food. For me, everything was just right here. Perfect! We had a burger and the herring plate with fried potatoes made from boiled potatoes. The staff was very friendly and authentic.

We arrived at the Ratskeller at lunchtime, had soup, sparkling wine, and a glass of cider. The potato soup and the carrot/ginger soup were excellent. The staff were very friendly and even up for a bit of fun. The dishes at our neighboring tables looked very good. We felt very comfortable.

Judging by the reviews, we had reserved a table. We were hoping for a pleasant evening. Upon arrival, we were given the menu. When ordering drinks, we were told they were out of rosé. Oh well, things happen. A little while later, when ordering food, we were told the dishes we had chosen were no longer available. No steaks, no beef, no mixed stew. Only schnitzel or hamburger... We hadn't been told this when we made our reservation, upon arrival, or when we were given the menu. So, we had a schnitzel... and it was disappointing. Lots of breading and very thin, very little meat, with what I think were frozen fries. The service was unattentive. All in all, a disappointment. Definitely not recommended. There are much better schnitzels in the area for less.

Since my bad review was removed at the owner's request, I would like to reiterate that I was served a really bad burger here and that the service, while nice, was still poor.

The food was okay. The bread for the starter was quite black. We had to tell the waiter several times things like that we wanted the bill, but they didn't respond to our first request.

We come here every year and are always thrilled. Everything is simply perfect.

Expensive place. Better to go to the pizzeria across the street!

A very disappointing visit – no service, no friendliness. We actually wanted to have a leisurely meal here, but we didn't even get that far. Even when we sat down, we had to wait a very long time before anyone even came – even though there were hardly any customers there and no sign of stress. There was no greeting like "Hello" or a simple smile. Instead, we were completely ignored. It was also clear that other guests outside had to wait forever for their bills. When the waiter finally arrived after a long wait, another 5-10 minutes passed before anything happened. That was simply too much for us – we left without ordering. We also found it particularly irritating that they charge €8.50 for each broken glass. Such policies seem completely excessive. If you value a "classy" appearance, you should be able to expect a minimum level of politeness, attentiveness, and customer service, especially when it comes to service. Overall, our visit was very disappointing – we would have expected much more from a restaurant with such standards. Unfortunately, we do not recommend it.

We went there at 4:30 p.m. to get something to eat. We were told the kitchen didn't open until 5 p.m., so we came back shortly after 5 p.m. We said, "Here we are again," and the waiter replied, "I can see you." We didn't find that particularly inviting. A "Great, please have a seat" would have been more appropriate. But we were hungry, so we sat down. The drinks came relatively quickly. When we came to eat, the waitress didn't thank us at the end, just a "Good." They really need to improve this area. The food itself was good. A little salty, but other than that. We would only recommend it with reservations.

Not tasty and expensive. They don't care about the quality as they are right in Rathouse, and tourists traffic is very high. Not recommend.

We ate here on Tuesday, August 5th. We had made a reservation through the app. Upon entering, we were shown a table—no one asked if we had a reservation. Our menus were simply placed on the table. The service was fast and efficient, but far from friendly. The bruschetta was tasty but tasted more like a pizza roll. Both main courses were correct—without a doubt.

We had reserved a table here and were shown to a sunny window seat. We like the sun, but not for eating in it. When we asked for a table in a more shady spot, we were snapped at by the fact that there were no other seats available, even though the restaurant was practically empty. Then I ordered a draft beer, which was lukewarm and undrinkable. Then came the food: I ordered a Viennese schnitzel with pepper sauce, and my wife ordered spare ribs. The breadcrumbs on my Viennese schnitzel were falling off, and the salad was apparently "inedible" due to vinegar. My wife's spare ribs were also unappetizing, bone-dry and burnt, as if they had been reheated. New customers who tried to enter the restaurant for a drink around 8:10 PM (closing time 9 PM) were politely turned away, even though there were still people inside who had yet to receive their food. It was unbelievable what we experienced here. It was the first, but also the last, time for us.

Unfortunately, no special requests for food are possible, a scoop of ice cream with a waffle is not possible with the porridge game. Then the rump steak was spoiled. The answer was that it would have been herb butter, so we simply ordered something else. I could list at least ten more things, but let's get to the essentials. All in all, the place is really nice, but any other restaurant in the place would probably be worlds better.

After a telephone call and having confirmation of the table, at the arrival the inn was fully booked and not accepted at the table. We had to leave.

A very beautiful place with modern decor in a historic setting; everything was very clean and well-maintained. The menu is rather small, but focuses on the essentials, and it succeeds very well: the dishes were excellently prepared and beautifully presented. You can tell that quality is a priority here. The service, however, was rather taciturn and cold. There were four of us, but we only received three menus. While the fourth of us was trying to make his choice, the waiter was already waiting for his order. The rest of the meal passed in a very pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. However, we didn't see the waiter again after the main course plates had been cleared. After waiting for 30 minutes, we finally left without dessert or coffee. The tranquility of the place is probably also due to the fact that the waiter isn't in the room.

The four of us had a wonderful evening. The service was friendly. The food was delicious. Unfortunately, no one knew anything about the wines, even when we asked if there really wasn't any staff available to serve them. This somewhat dampened the overall impression. Nevertheless, it was a lovely evening.

The quality of the food was good, but the service, unfortunately, was not. The son, unfortunately, has no knowledge of wine and couldn't answer any questions about it... Unfortunately, the value for money here isn't good.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Eigentlich ein gehobenes Restaurant, aber leider passte der Service nicht. Die Weinkarte ist relativ üppig, aber leider konnte uns keiner der Kellner*innen die Weine beschreiben bzw. uns einen Wein empfehlen… Schade, wenn man in einer Weinregion Urlaub macht.

Very tasty wine and delicious food. A very nice atmosphere and, of course, a central location.

We were just sitting outside at the Ratskeller and saw a woman bump into a table. A glass and what looked like a lamp fell off. The table hadn't been set up properly. The Ratskeller's waiter literally yelled at the woman. She could have been more careful and at least picked up the broken glass. When I intervened and asked what was going on, he attacked me and told me to stay out of it. I've never experienced anything like this in any restaurant. Sure, it's hot, but where is the service involved here?

The bruschetta isn't really bruschetta, or rather, a very poor interpretation of one. The salad was mediocre at best. The schnitzel had an atypical flavor, so it's a matter of taste. The fries were sometimes salty, sometimes unsalted. After the food was served, the waitress preferred to smoke a cigarette outside the door rather than ask if anything else was needed. All in all, not recommended.

I think the restaurant is very nicely decorated. The food was just so-so. The pepper sauce tasted like thyme sauce, the salad had too much acidity from the vinegar for me, and the schnitzel was almost overcooked in a deep fryer. The fries were very tasty. So, it wasn't really good for the price. Yes, you're paying for the location here, but they could still do better. Oh, and I couldn't tip with my debit card because of the bill and the tax... I've never heard of that before...

We went to this restaurant to ask for a table only to be told in a very rude manner that there were no tables available. Restaurant was nearly empty. I checked availability online with OpenTable (see screenshot below) and there were plenty of slots. Unbelievable rudeness.

The food was excellent, but the service had a strange sense of humor and was condescending.

The restaurant's located in the former Rathaus (mayor's office) in the centre, just in front of the St. Michael's fountain. Its a well renovated, well lit, tastefully decorated cellar (at ground level). We were a group of 5 people and 2 dogs, we had no booking, but the staff members did everything possible to make us feel comfortable. The wines're excellent. Traditional steaks, soups, schnitzels're all well prepared and presented. The staff're really attentive and polite. I look forward to returning.

What outstanding cuisine in this restaurant. We opted for the set menu, and the €95.00 per person was worth every single cent. Several compliments from the kitchen, subtle and sophisticated creations, very friendly and competent service, a pleasant atmosphere, and last but not least, a diverse wine list with a strong focus on the Moselle region and excellent representatives of the region. I sincerely hope this restaurant will be successful, because such a high standard is worth its weight in gold for the Moselle region! There are, of course, individual dishes, but the menu is definitely worth exploring.

It's rude to be turned away at 1:30 p.m., despite the door being open, because it's lunchtime. You could phrase it politely. Apparently, the customer isn't important here. And perhaps the opening hours should be clearly stated.

Können nicht sagen ob das Essen gut ist! Hatten zwar eine Woche vorher reserviert, aber aufgrund eines respektlosen und ignoranten Bedienung wieder gegangen!

We spent a week in Bernkastel-Kues for a little vacation and we liked it so much on our first visit to the Ratskeller that we ate there a second time on our last evening. The service is friendly and on point, the food is absolutely delicious and the ambience with the mix of the old vault and modern furnishings is really nice. If we go to the Moselle again, we will definitely come back! :)

As beautiful as the town is, visiting this restaurant was just as daunting. Not only that every second dish was massively oversalted, the wheat was warm, and the aperitif was only OK for the hard-boiled, the restaurant is characterized by its lack of responsiveness to customers. So there is ice cream with the apple strudel - but obviously you can't provide it with the waffle... I could tell you more - but in a nutshell. Any other restaurant in this place will be better.

Es war leider ein Reinfall, die Bedienung achtet nicht darauf, ob man noch etwas bestellen möchte! Jedesmal mussten wir rufen oder winken! Ich hatte noch Mayo bestellt, die ich nie bekommen habe, aber bezahlen sollte ich sie! Mein Mann hatte einen Moselspritz bestellt, es kam ein JinTonic, Kellner Bescheid gesagt und es kam ein neues Getränk, aber definitiv kein Moselspritz! Es war viel Bewegung, man dachte man sitzt im Durchgangs Raum! Es war kein schöner Abend

We felt very comfortable in the special, stylish ambience with tasteful furnishings and, even as vegetarians, we were able to enjoy very lovingly prepared and, above all, delicious food! The service was very friendly and gave us very good advice on choosing the food. We'd love to come back!

We had a wonderful evening with good wine and delicious food. As a former restaurateur myself, I take my hat off to what the young man in service did ALONE on a Friday evening! Great, individual service, humorous despite the full house. It's nice that it still exists, please keep it that way 👍🏻🍀

The restaurant wasn't necessarily stylishly decorated and the taciturn staff needed to warm up, but the food was really tasty and beautifully presented. We were able to have a good chat at the end and so the overall impression gave us a good grade. You can definitely eat good steak and juicy burgers here👍

We had dinner in the Ratskeller as part of a company workshop - and all 22 team members were full, happy and satisfied afterwards. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and visually appealing, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere in the vault was cozy. We can recommend the Ratskeller without reservation!

Since the waiter was so unfriendly and rude, we didn't get to sit down or eat anything. We won't go there again. Other passers-by were also very bothered by his tone towards you and his unfriendly manner, so they got up and left.
