When I asked for a table, I was immediately fobbed off in a completely unfriendly and rude manner... Not recommended.

Service and food are great... but it needs to be cleaned properly.....

The service was very friendly and quick. The food was delicious, and the wait time was reasonable. We were there for lunch and sat on the lovely terrace.

If it was -7, I'd give it that. The food was a disaster... I had a tuna salad that carelessly placed a quarter of a cucumber, half a tomato, a can of tuna, and eight strips of bell pepper next to each other, and they wanted €14 for that... We'd be back later... I ordered a pizza diavolo... I expect it to be a bit spicy. Even when I asked if they had hot peppers or chili, they didn't bring me anything... The server himself did a good job and was friendly, but the rest was a disaster 🙈

This is a review for the restaurant when we used to visit it around two years ago. I don’t know how it is now but we really liked this place. We were in Weimar for a year and this was the first restaurant that welcomed us so warmly. I wish I had known the names of the staff because they were so friendly and treated us so well, always with a smile. Even though we were outsiders, they did not discriminate. The pizzas were very good, too. If any of the staff members is reading this, I just wanted to say, ‘thank you so much for your warmth and your friendly attitude.’ You may remember us, we are the Indian family who would come sometimes for your pizzas. Thank you again, and good day! 🩵

Ich war neulich zum Abendessen in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen ist ok. Aber: ich wollte nur nach einem Glas Wein (0,2) nachfolgend noch ein kleines Glas (0,1). Das große Glas kostete 7,90. Das kleine Glas wurde mir mit 6,40 Euro berechnet. Als ich mich darüber beschwerte, wurde mir auf eine fast höhnische Weise mitgeteilt, dass dieser (vollkommen überhöhte) Preis einfach so festgesetzt worden sei. Ich war das letzte Mal in diesem Etablissement.

One of our favorite restaurants in Weimar. The price/performance ratio is simply right here. There's a wide selection, and every dish tastes delicious. The servers are all very friendly and attentive. We enjoy coming here and feel very comfortable.

Visiting from Chicago, Illinois, USA and cannot say enough great things about Restaurant Primavera. Our German language is not great, but our host family could translate. No need. Our server spoke 4 languages. The salads were fresh and of very good portions. Our party had pizza and pasta. BEST PENNE ARRIBIATA EVER!!! Our waiter was patient and friendly, and everything was just perfect. It was so heartwarming to see the entire staff sit down to "family dinner" as we left the restaurant. Hoping we will be back soon.

The pizzas were very good. Service was very nice. We spontaneously got seats. The prices are also very moderate. The only thing that was annoying was that you couldn't pay by card.

There were 4 of us and we were greeted very friendly by a member of staff at the entrance and were able to choose a table even without a reservation. A menu was also quickly brought to us. We ordered 4 pizzas and 4 large drinks. Everything was at our table in under 15 minutes. The taste of the pizza was very good. What we didn't manage to eat was packed for us at no extra charge. The price was also reasonable. For a pizza with a diameter of around 25 cm you pay €10.50 - €12.50 and a 0.4l drink costs €4.50

Typical "Italian next door" with a large outdoor area, partly in the shade, near the main train station. Menu with equally typical dishes, but also lunch and day menus. Friendly and attentive service, the food was plentiful and very tasty at reasonable prices. Terrace with barrier-free access. There are sufficient parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant on the streets.

You can't beat the unfriendly people if you canceled a reservation early and the owner is not able to read your emails, even after he called you and sent him the email from the history again, you were also sent via WhatsApp insulted... fortunately for the owner that we weren't near his restaurant at the time

Late in the evening after arriving with a long-delayed train, all the other Rwstaurants were already closed. Even though Primavera also wanted to close the kitchen, they still made me a delicious Pizza Siciliana. Very good service!

Normally I don't write such negative reviews, this one is a first of its kind. My review is exclusively about the fact that from 9:22 p.m. you are no longer "allowed" to eat food on site, but rather are uncomprehendingly expelled from the restaurant because after all will close at 10 p.m. Even assurances that I was a fast eater were rejected with a restaurant reprimand. Really now? Where is the Italian charm? In summary: Nothing so unfriendly has ever happened to me.

We were in Weimar this afternoon (we're actually from Erfurt) and visited the restaurant "Primavera" on Buchenwaldplatz. Three brothers run the restaurant with a lot of commitment and honest hospitality. The restaurant is framed on two sides with large panoramic windows that let in a lot of light and you feel as if you were sitting directly on the small terrace. The spaghetti carbonara italiana was delicious and the panna cotta was just right. We really enjoyed our stay and we found a good friend again. Thank you very much Shukri, keep it up. We preferred to reserve a table for 4 people to ensure that we could eat there:) Service was friendly and humorous, the food took a little longer (there was also a lot to do) but it was tasty and filling. Prices are reasonable ;) if we are in Amsterdam again we will definitely come back

This restaurant is upper middle class. Very attentive service. Beautiful live-style outdoor tables with a view of the pedestrian zone in Weimar on a sheltered corner. Drink prices at the upper limit. Don't wait long. Toilet facility still good. 20€ per person for food and drink is feasible. Cappuccino Italian with good taste!

I ordered bruschetta with spaghetti carbonara and the Italian salad (adjusted to the portion). For me everything was pretty okay. You have to prepare the salad yourself, with oil and balsamic vinegar. The oil was not good olive oil and the balsamic vinegar was very runny like water. The taste of the carbonara was neither parmesan nor cream, rather salty. The bruschetta was good but heaped with tomatoes. So it's a bit overpriced for me.

Coming straight home from Italy on the stopover (and also with some other very tasty Italian restaurant memories in mind), we arrived here quite exhausted and unfortunately also with a lot of bad Italian restaurant memories from Germany without any great expectations. What can I say: the restaurant is awesome, the quality of the food is in no way inferior to the original Italian restaurants in lonely villages in Veneto, Tuscany or Lombardy. The antipasti are fresh, with spice, very excellent taste, versatile and prepared with love. The service was friendly and accommodating, the quantities served were as usual in Italy (primi piatti often come without any side dishes; some of the negative reviews here are hard to understand). The restaurant serves ars vivendi like the original in Bella Italia. That's how it should be, I highly recommend it.

We were in Weimar for 5 days and discovered the Primavera by chance near the main train station. THANKS for the coincidence... The food (pizza + pasta) was really delicious and worth the price (very good value for money). You really felt like you were in Italy. The pizza was well topped and the pasta was aldente. My wife also raved about their dessert (zabaione). The service was very friendly and always ready for a short, pleasant conversation (even though the tables were well occupied). All in all, we liked it so much that we visited the restaurant again. Our recommendation for anyone who wants good Italian food.

As seen in many other restaurants in Germany, they “unfortunately have issues with card payments at the moment”… However, it’s ALWAYS a permanent and deliberate management decision, because the restaurant won’t pay the fees it costs to accept card payments. As a customer, though, it is a major inconvenience in this day and age, to carry cash to pay for a family dinner. It’s 2024! The food was good.

My friends were really enthusiastic about their food, but as a vegan you don't have any food on the menu. If you ask, you get a salad, which tasted mainly of lemon. It was a shame, especially for the price, but an effort was made and that is appreciated!

On a Family Trip to Weiner we wanted something regional to eat. Food was overcooked and wrong condiments used, in my opinion. From Forelle fish to pork medallions were bland. So disappointed!

Tendency to be creepy. As a regular traveler to and from Italy for decades, dinner at Primavera was a bitter disappointment. It even went so far that I was wondering whether this was really an "Italian" or whether they were sailing under a "false flag". The reason for this assumption is the incorrect use of Italian in the menu and the fact that the staff cannot respond to an address in Italian. And finally, the "Italian" dishes that were served to me had very little to do with Italy, even though they were listed on the menu with an Italian name. The fact that there is only a small handful of open wines on the menu, for which the winemaker or winery and the vintages remain unclear, and next to them in the sunny window a collection of bottles without price labels, completes the whole thing.

Enjoy your meal. Only the sauces were portioned very sparingly. And when it came to the dish of the day with mushrooms and beef, you could look for both among the noodles but were difficult to find. Hence a star deduction.

I had dinner at Primavera with my girlfriend on Valentine's Day. I was familiar with the restaurant and knew it would be a good choice. Once we made a reservation, something was available straight away and we received a very warm welcome, despite the restaurant being full. The service was very attentive, the food was delivered quickly and perfectly prepared. What else I can say, the mood and the ambience in general can only be recommended and there will always be an inner feeling of picking flowers. My praise to the whole Primavera team!!

We were there with a larger group of 25 people. With advance orders via email and despite spontaneous special requests on site, the drinks and food were delivered very quickly and it was very tasty. Price-performance ratio was perfectly fine, the service staff were very attentive and radiated a cheerful aura. Rarely have we had such a relaxed and good meal in a restaurant with larger groups.
