Cozy restaurant, you can sit on the outdoor terrace in summer it's great, the pizza is excellent, the first courses are good. The staff is very kind, the service is good, the prices are normal.

When we arrived there was a lot going on. That's why everything went a little slow at first. Things got better later. The service was definitely friendly. The quality of the food was very good. All in all, I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

The staff would rather play on their cell phones and drink champagne behind the bar than take care of the customers.

We ate there twice. Each with pizza and another dish including dessert and wine. The first time it was very, very crowded. We were still served very friendly and courteously!! Something that cannot be said about other restaurants in Weimar. The second time was wonderful too! It was super tasty, not overpriced, fast and the service was Italian, charming and friendly. I would love to go there again and again.

A group of five of us were there on a Tuesday right after the store opened and we were very satisfied. The drink and food requests were quickly received, implemented and brought to the table. At the end when the plates are cleared, people ask how it tasted. The staff was very nice throughout. Suggestion for improvement: Sharp knives for the pizzas would be great, as cutting them at the table is very difficult.

We spontaneously stopped by this restaurant today; the only good thing was actually the food. It tasted good, but the noodle portions were very small, so it's not for those who are really hungry. Unfortunately the service was very bad, we waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken. After a second round of drinks we weren't even asked and we waited half an hour to pay our bill, which unfortunately is absolutely not possible. Our friendly inquiry as to why it was taking so long was not answered at all. Unfortunately, service is underplayed here... What a shame!!!

Pasta is an imposition, I don't know what's been going wrong for days. It's always been good so far, but at the moment it's just bad, too many things that don't fit, unfortunately. Pasta drowned in sauce. Pizza ok.

We both had lasagne, but unfortunately it was so greasy that we both had stomach problems afterwards.

The location is actually nice, the store isn't badly decorated either. Unfortunately my pasta yesterday was much worse than usual. The sauce was seasoned very uncreatively, the consistency of the pasta was like in a cafeteria… pizza was okay. Since Corona, every restaurant in Weimar has gone down the drain... Wouldn't recommend the shop.

I have been a customer for a long time and have always been satisfied with the quality of the food. However, on my last visit last week, I was disappointed... My pasta was a little too "al dente" and the sauce seemed very watery... I hope your restaurant finds its way to the quality of the time so that I can spend my summers on your terrace again can spend…

Ordered after 9 p.m. on Sunday, two disinterested employees (young woman, young man with stubble) show no service whatsoever and do not respond at all to criticism. The salad is terrible and not only completely bland for the price, but also insufficient in quantity. Even the accompanying rolls are not delivered and are only brought after notice. No apology and no response to criticism. Pizza too greasy. Ambience colorful and too loud. Not recommended with this service, a shame. And I'm not really sensitive and have seen the inside of a lot of restaurants.

A great pizzeria in a prominent location in the city center. A large outdoor area for the summer and enough space on two levels inside invite you to linger. The decoration is rich, almost overloaded with details, but definitely offers something to behold. The waitresses are attentive and friendly, and even special requests were fulfilled promptly. My soup and pizza were delicious and the prices were reasonable for the restaurant's location. The Pomodoro could have gotten five stars if the waiter hadn't "accidentally" given ten euros too little change. I'm a burned child, so unfortunately I don't get full marks. Once again we enjoyed an Italian restaurant for dinner. The restaurant has both outdoor and indoor seating. The menu includes all typical Italian dishes. We chose a Vitello Tonnato and a pizza. Both dishes were good and tasted excellent. Small downside, a red wine that's a little too warm!! A restaurant that we can recommend!!

Food was amazing, tried the dishes of the day: tagliatelle oktopus and pizza messina. Tiramisu is pretty decent, perfect for chocolate lovers. They were really nice and served us food after 10 pm. 10/10

Ate here on Monday July 29. We were able to sit outside on the terrace and were helped quickly. I first wanted to order pasta, but because the pizza smelled so good, I ordered a pizza instead. The food was delicious and it certainly wasn't expensive. I would go back again in a heartbeat.

Prominent location on Theaterplatz

Ristorante italiano...abbiamo ordinato spaghetti alla bolognese e tortellini al forno....spaghetti cotti alla perfezione. Super consigliato!

We spent 2.5 hours in this restaurant for lunch. We waited an hour for our pizzas and another hour for the bill (the shop was hardly busy). The service simply didn't pay any attention to us. The pizzas were mediocre at best. For the children's pizza (see photo), the salami was put on after baking. It didn't taste good either. The location and the Aperol were good.

The Vittello Tonnata was the worst I've ever eaten. The tuna was just carried past the sauce. The waiter wasn't in the mood. Waited forever to pay. Once again you notice that these restaurants in prominent locations only live from passing customers.

Pizza was burnt and employees were not friendly

We like to go to Pomo regularly. Especially in the warmer seasons, the terrace is ideal if you would like to eat and drink in a lively environment. The selection of food is good, the pizzas are excellent and the pasta dishes are also convincing. Sure there are more authentic Italians but the price-performance ratio is unbeatable, especially in this location! We like to spend an entire evening there with friends. You have to call the service staff once or twice, but they are all friendly. Overall a stable shop.

Unfortunately I wasn't convinced, the waiter spoke very quietly and you could hardly understand him, and he couldn't answer questions. The music in the shop was very loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. Our table shook and the staff wasn't particularly helpful. An experience that I could have saved myself.

That wasn't quite my taste... The service leaves a lot to be desired... You have to wait a long time to be served, even if the waiters have a reputation... Prices were quite okay... But they won't see me there again...

Today we spontaneously went to Pomodoro again. The food was again plentiful and tasty. Absolutely top value for money, especially in this location. The service was very friendly and accommodating. I particularly liked the fact that children are seen as guests here and are taken just as seriously as adults! Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back!

I was in Weimar with my school class and unfortunately we chose this pizzeria. Why I say unfortunately is because people don't seem to speak proper German or don't pay much attention to details. One of my male friends ordered a normal Magharita pizza but in the end he only got dough with sauce. I found this to be a bit undesirable and I don't recommend the service.

The service was quite okay. The food was okay too if you don't take the price into account. But what shocked me was that my male friend ordered a Magharita pizza and then got a pizza without cheese. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Wir haben eine Flasche Hauswein bestellt. Uns wurde Pinot Grigio empfohlen. MIt der Rechnung kam die "Überraschung". €41,00 für eine Flasche Hausmarke. Völlig überzogen. Hätten wir glasweise bestellt wäe das nicht mal die Hälfte gewesen. Eine Beschwerde brachte keine Korrektur. Wir gehen zukünftig woanders hin.

Wir machten eine spontane Kaffeepause. Wir wollten zum Kaffee ein Dessert essen, aber der Kellner, der interessiert war, war sowohl desinteressiert als auch sagte, dass er den Inhalt des Desserts auf der Karte nicht kenne. Ehrlich gesagt, war es eine sehr unangenehme Situation für das Beste von Weimar. Die Leute wollen die Zutaten der Aromen kennen, die sie probieren möchten. Als wir nach einem Konto fragten, ließ er die Quittung auf dem Tisch liegen und ging. Glücklicherweise war die Kellnerin, die die Zahlung entgegennahm, sowohl freundlich als auch liebevoll. Das nächste Mal werde ich ihr Essen probieren. Ich schreibe in die Kommentare.

Sehr leckeres Essen und faire Preise. Vor dem Besuch vom DNT eine sehr gute Adresse. Ich bin heute nicht zum ersten Mal und auch nicht zum letzten Mal da.

Preis und Leistung stimmen. Das Essen von der Tageskarte war lecker.

Die Burger mit den Pommes sind einfach nur Spitze. Auch die kurze Wartezeit ist super.

Ein wirklich unscheinbares Gebäude neben dem Nationaltheater entpuppt sich als Geheimtipp! Ich wohne seit Geburt an in Weimar und habe schon oft den Theaterplatz überquert, nie fiel mir der Italiener auf. Erst nach Onlinrecherche, da wir auf der Suche nach einer bestimmten Pizza waren, wurden wir auf diese Pizzeria aufmerksam. An einem Sonntag zur Mittagszeit kehrten wir ein und waren positiv überrascht: nicht voll, schön gestaltet und zuvorkommender Service. Auch die Pizza, nach der wir lange in der Umgebung suchten (nach dem das Original in Italien so lecker war), übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Ganz an die Pizza in Italien direkt kam sie nicht heran, aber sie war dennoch unglaublich gut! Der ebenfalls bestellte Kartoffelauflauf, war auch gut, aber etwas ungewürzt. Wir empfehlen also unbedingt einen Besuch für italienisches Essen! Ein wenig teurer als vergleichbare Restaurants ist es dennoch und für den etwas faden Auflauf zusammen ein kleiner Punkt Abzug.

Extrem voll, haben über 1 Stunde auf das Essen gewartet. Service Total überlastet, es wurde sich dem zufolge, auch garniert gekümmert. Schade

Waren 3 x innerhalb 1 Woche beim Weimarbesuch dort. Freundlich, schnell und schmackhaft. Preise in Ordnung. Gerne wieder.

War es ein schlechter Witz? Kunstpflanze auf dem Tisch und schlechtes Essen! Das würde man sich zu Hause nicht einmal trauen. Schade, dass solche Restaurants scheinbar gut von den Touristen leben können. Hat man als Koch nicht das Bestreben, dem Gast etwas Gutes zu tun? Zum Glück gibt es noch gute italienische Restaurants im Umkreis.

Es ist sehr laut im Restaurant, Toiletten brauchen mal eine Renovierung! Essen ist super Personal ist super freundlich! Auf alle Fälle zu empfehlen!

Die Pizza war super lecker. Man kann bei der Zubereitung zusehen. Atmosphäre ein bisschen laut, aber noch ganz gut auszuhalten.

Es gibt keinen schöneren Ort für ein gemeinsames Essen zu zweit oder mit der Familie. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und das Essen einfach fabelhaft.

Der Service war super schnell, obwohl der Laden voll war. Das Essen war teilweise gut, zum Teil aber nur okay. Bei der einen Bestellung fehlten Zwiebeln, bei der anderen war es die falsche Pastasorte. Die Bruschetta war dünn dann belegt und ohne Olivenöl. Das Tiramisu hat überwiegend nach Sahne geschmeckt. Im Prinzip nicht schlimm, aber bei dem Preis hätte ich was anderes erwartet. Als wir nach dem fehlenden Dressing im Salat fragten, war der Kellner vergleichsweise gehässig. Hätte mehr erwartete für den Preis.

Da arbeite ich seit über 10 Jahren nur 250m entfernt und habe es bis vor ein paar Tagen nicht geschafft, hier essen zu gehen... ein großer Fehler!!! 😅 Das beste Vitello tonato(außer meinem eigenen 😜), was ich seit langem gegessen habe... super nette freundliche Bedienung, tolles Ambiente im Außenbereich, Klasse Weine und ein sehr leckeres Panna Cotta. Ich bin sehr begeistert und werde mir wohl nun öfter in meiner Pause ein Vitello holen..

Wirklich sehr gut abgeschmeckte Nudeln ("Mare e monti"), natürlich auftretendes Personal. Leider konnten wir keinen Tisch im Freien mehr bekommen, das wurde aner durch die große Kinderfreundlichkeit proma kompensiert. Vielen Dank für den schönen !

Ein schöner Italiener direkt am Theaterplatz mit Außenterrasse. Bei Regen konnten wir unter dem Schirm sitzen, das war echt schön. Das Essen war lecker und die Portionen waren ausreichend, das Personal sehr nett. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend😊

Delicious pizza and pasta. Pasta was already brought to the table 10 minutes before the pizza. The young man who helped us was the hardest worker of all employees but what was he grumpy. At least a lot of chairs on the terrace were obsolete, due a full terrace, some customers were very uncomfortable because there were no good chair's left.
