The best Italian restaurant I know. Delicious pizzas and soups. The staff is friendly and attentive. 👍🏻

No accommodations for food intolerances. Except for fruit ice cream, nothing gluten-free.

We ate here as a group and had a very good meal... the food arrived quickly, was hot, and incredibly delicious. The menu is clear and offers a wide selection, all at reasonable prices. I recommend reserving a table for a group. I'd be happy to come back.

The super friendly staff kept everything under control at all times, despite being fully booked. Quick service and good quality food, with a limoncello or grappa to finish off... full marks - we'll be back 👍

We sat outside in the sunny autumn, my husband ordered a pizza, and we each received (so thoughtful!) half a pizza on a plate and two sets of cutlery. The pizza is Neapolitan and extremely delicious! Did I mention the service? No? Great! And don't forget: they're dog-friendly, too.

I've rarely experienced such apathetic conditions. The table was only wiped after being asked to. The wait for food was reasonable. If you don't expect any emotion or friendliness and just want to be seen as a wallet, this is the place for you.

Not very busy, but the pizza was very tasty and well-topped. The appetizer platter also had a very good selection.

The dish of the day (gnocchi with bacon and tomato sauce) was inedibly spoiled; the ready-made pasta from the discount store had been tossed in old fat and then generously salted. The tomato soup was neither fresh nor homemade, and was also heavily salted. It was already very dirty under the tables outside at 11:30 a.m., and we witnessed an employee running up to the restaurant in 28-degree weather to carry a plastic-wrapped chicken leg from Rewe's own brand "Ja" through the metal gate to the back entrance.

I've ordered pizza twice in the last six months, and both times something different was prepared than what was ordered. Take a pen and paper and write down what people order from you, or just skip the pickup option.

We were there on a Monday evening, and there were only four tables left outside. The restaurant is located right on the market square, which was bustling on this balmy summer evening. The servers were all nice and friendly. The drinks we ordered arrived promptly, and the food didn't take long to arrive. Both of the pasta dishes we ordered were delicious. By then, all the tables outside were occupied, and several people were already waiting outside to get a free table. The price/performance ratio is perfectly acceptable. We can recommend Pomodoro.

The pizza and pasta were very tasty. Good value for money. The servers were very attentive and friendly. Very busy on weekends and peak times.

We had something to celebrate again! A milestone birthday. When they asked if they could sing me a song, they answered, "No, man." It was a surprise and fun for all of us. Thanks again. 😄😘

We went for lunch today. It wasn't very full but we waited 20 minutes for a waiter who took the drink order: 1 cola, 1 apple spritzer and 1 lemon soda. After 5 minutes a second waiter came and asked for drinks, when we told him we had ordered he said: again the colleague doesn't understand. We wanted to order food right away and we couldn't order drinks first... We were finally allowed to order our 2 pizzas and we also had a small child with us. We were not offered an extra plate for the child but it was brought to us upon request. We had to ask again because of a small fork. Pizza was good. An older man in a sweatshirt showed up to pay and collected the money without giving us an invoice. When we did the math in our heads, we thought 45 euros was a bit too much. We then asked for an invoice and were charged 10 euros too much. There wasn't even an apology. So the 2 stars are only for the food. There is no service. And I know what I'm talking about, I was in the restaurant industry myself.

A real sports bar, cool service. The schnitzel was really good. My wife had salad and was also very satisfied. There is also beer from Thuringia, which is not a given in Thuringia.

Cold Pizza, then "heated" and over-dried in the oven, at least a few minutes too long. I don't recommend it. Encouraged by our previous visit, we ordered a Margherita pizza. Literally after 5 minutes it was served to the table. When we tried it, it was completely cold. Perhaps it was some mistaken order from other guests. We reported this fact to the waiter, who took the unfortunate pizza back, and after 10 minutes he returned with the same pie, but not only warm, but also well-baked.

I ordered salmon gratin. The food was a bit salty, but very tasty. The atmosphere in the café is pleasant, the tables and restrooms are clean, and the service is fast. Thank you!

A very welcoming Italian restaurant with the right charm and authentic staff. When the weather is nice, there is also plenty of space to sit outside. Inside it is very nicely decorated and you can eat excellently.

I can recommend it with a clear conscience. The pizzas are great. I had a galzone. It wasn't bad. But I have to say, I've had better. Maybe the chef wasn't in a good mood 😉.

Beautiful traditional Italian restaurant, the waiter was very friendly and looked well-groomed, the food was prepared quickly considering it was freshly made in the kitchen and tasted fantastic. The restaurant is furnished in a typical Italian style and still looks modern. Clear recommendation, best restaurant in Weimar for me so far.

The Italian restaurant we actually wanted to go to was overcrowded, so we ended up here by chance. We had to wait 10 minutes until we were assigned a table. The ambience was unusual and doesn't directly remind you of Italy, it's a matter of taste. We sat in a seating area where the seats were unfortunately a bit squat. The food was super delicious. We had pizza. The shop is recommended simply because of the quality and taste.

Were there with a whole school class. Under Tisch were really well set up and I highly recommend it for larger groups. The food came very quickly and was also very tasty and there was a large selection of different dishes on the menu. Pizzas tend to be thinner with thinner edges, so not suitable if you like thicker pizzas. Atmosphere pleasant but very "randomly" furnished.

The food was very tasty, the pizza was crispy, the homemade pasta was very tasty, especially the one with truffles, the service was competent, quick, had an overview, despite it being very full, the waiters were warm and attentive, we felt very welcome and comfortable. See you soon!

Pasta Aglio e olio tastes like nothing at all and the waiter shouts out the numbers on the card when handing out the food as if we were employees and knew all the numbers. The pasta was also too aldente

Am Valentinstag, krachend voll, trotzdem total nett empfangen. Tische mit frischen Rosen (durfte man auch mitnehmen) und großen Herzen geschmückt. Nach kurzer Wartezeit doch noch ein Tisch bekommen. Wein war sehr gut. Essen sehr lecker (außer, die Sahnesoße war eine Béchamelsoße) aber o.k. Preis Leistung war super und es ging trotz der Fülle sehr schnell.

Delicious pizza, well topped, super crispy base. Pasta from the daily menu was also very tasty. Dessert (Pana Cotta) is a dream and freshly prepared. Ambiance is not upscale, but casual and makes you feel good. Would come again.

As an Italian who lives in Weimar I have to say very, very good pizza, polite staff and owner who speak Italian and good prices.

Both pasta dishes were first class 👍 the portion was a bit too small but ok 👌 the bruschetta was good. The service was quick and friendly, overall the price was right👍

The food was really delicious. I had the Pennette Rigate 4 Formaggi. It came with Bruschetta Gorgonzola, which was really cheesey, which I personally really like! The service was friendly and quick. We got the food relatively quickly, too. I'd love to come back here again.

The food was really good. We also had pizza it was also good. Everything was made with fresh items. You could taste the difference. Prices were also reasonably priced. You got your money worth. I would go again.

Could be decorated more nicely.

I spontaneously went there for dinner with another person around 8 p.m. on Boxing Day. After an emotionless, seemingly annoyed greeting, we sat down at our assigned tables. It was supposed to be an Insalata Schiller. It looked good, but something was off about the taste. It was either the white doner-sauce-like dressing or the turkey strips. When I asked the waitress if they could check, my plate was taken away and I was told to eat the tomato soup I'd ordered. This was meant to be shared with the other person. At least there was no substitute offered, nor was there a menu, nor was there any further comment from the waitress. I ended up just having a bratwurst at the Christmas market, as I was still hungry after my visit. I won't go there again. The tomato soup was OK.

Very tasty food for a really fair price. Super friendly service

We had reserved a table on Friday and got there a little early and had to wait a little bit, but that wasn't a bad thing... it was very full. But we were served quickly. Our food also came quickly and was very tasty. Very friendly staff, we would love to come back. The only thing that bothered us was our table. It was very close to the front door and it was very drafty when guests came in and out.

Cozy restaurant, you can sit on the outdoor terrace in summer it's great, the pizza is excellent, the first courses are good. The staff is very kind, the service is good, the prices are normal.

When we arrived there was a lot going on. That's why everything went a little slow at first. Things got better later. The service was definitely friendly. The quality of the food was very good. All in all, I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

The staff would rather play on their cell phones and drink champagne behind the bar than take care of the customers.

We ate there twice. Each with pizza and another dish including dessert and wine. The first time it was very, very crowded. We were still served very friendly and courteously!! Something that cannot be said about other restaurants in Weimar. The second time was wonderful too! It was super tasty, not overpriced, fast and the service was Italian, charming and friendly. I would love to go there again and again.

A group of five of us were there on a Tuesday right after the store opened and we were very satisfied. The drink and food requests were quickly received, implemented and brought to the table. At the end when the plates are cleared, people ask how it tasted. The staff was very nice throughout. Suggestion for improvement: Sharp knives for the pizzas would be great, as cutting them at the table is very difficult.

We spontaneously stopped by this restaurant today; the only good thing was actually the food. It tasted good, but the noodle portions were very small, so it's not for those who are really hungry. Unfortunately the service was very bad, we waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken. After a second round of drinks we weren't even asked and we waited half an hour to pay our bill, which unfortunately is absolutely not possible. Our friendly inquiry as to why it was taking so long was not answered at all. Unfortunately, service is underplayed here... What a shame!!!

Pasta is an imposition, I don't know what's been going wrong for days. It's always been good so far, but at the moment it's just bad, too many things that don't fit, unfortunately. Pasta drowned in sauce. Pizza ok.

We both had lasagne, but unfortunately it was so greasy that we both had stomach problems afterwards.

I have been a customer for a long time and have always been satisfied with the quality of the food. However, on my last visit last week, I was disappointed... My pasta was a little too "al dente" and the sauce seemed very watery... I hope your restaurant finds its way to the quality of the time so that I can spend my summers on your terrace again can spend…

The location is actually nice, the store isn't badly decorated either. Unfortunately my pasta yesterday was much worse than usual. The sauce was seasoned very uncreatively, the consistency of the pasta was like in a cafeteria… pizza was okay. Since Corona, every restaurant in Weimar has gone down the drain... Wouldn't recommend the shop.

Ordered after 9 p.m. on Sunday, two disinterested employees (young woman, young man with stubble) show no service whatsoever and do not respond at all to criticism. The salad is terrible and not only completely bland for the price, but also insufficient in quantity. Even the accompanying rolls are not delivered and are only brought after notice. No apology and no response to criticism. Pizza too greasy. Ambience colorful and too loud. Not recommended with this service, a shame. And I'm not really sensitive and have seen the inside of a lot of restaurants.

A great pizzeria in a prominent location in the city center. A large outdoor area for the summer and enough space on two levels inside invite you to linger. The decoration is rich, almost overloaded with details, but definitely offers something to behold. The waitresses are attentive and friendly, and even special requests were fulfilled promptly. My soup and pizza were delicious and the prices were reasonable for the restaurant's location. The Pomodoro could have gotten five stars if the waiter hadn't "accidentally" given ten euros too little change. I'm a burned child, so unfortunately I don't get full marks. The rest was perfect, as I said

Once again we enjoyed an Italian restaurant for dinner. The restaurant has both outdoor and indoor seating. The menu includes all typical Italian dishes. We chose a Vitello Tonnato and a pizza. Both dishes were good and tasted excellent. Small downside, a red wine that's a little too warm!! A restaurant that we can recommend!!

Food was amazing, tried the dishes of the day: tagliatelle oktopus and pizza messina. Tiramisu is pretty decent, perfect for chocolate lovers. They were really nice and served us food after 10 pm. 10/10

Ate here on Monday July 29. We were able to sit outside on the terrace and were helped quickly. I first wanted to order pasta, but because the pizza smelled so good, I ordered a pizza instead. The food was delicious and it certainly wasn't expensive. I would go back again in a heartbeat.

Prominent location on Theaterplatz

Ristorante italiano...abbiamo ordinato spaghetti alla bolognese e tortellini al forno....spaghetti cotti alla perfezione. Super consigliato!

We spent 2.5 hours in this restaurant for lunch. We waited an hour for our pizzas and another hour for the bill (the shop was hardly busy). The service simply didn't pay any attention to us. The pizzas were mediocre at best. For the children's pizza (see photo), the salami was put on after baking. It didn't taste good either. The location and the Aperol were good.

The Vittello Tonnata was the worst I've ever eaten. The tuna was just carried past the sauce. The waiter wasn't in the mood. Waited forever to pay. Once again you notice that these restaurants in prominent locations only live from passing customers.

Pizza was burnt and employees were not friendly

We like to go to Pomo regularly. Especially in the warmer seasons, the terrace is ideal if you would like to eat and drink in a lively environment. The selection of food is good, the pizzas are excellent and the pasta dishes are also convincing. Sure there are more authentic Italians but the price-performance ratio is unbeatable, especially in this location! We like to spend an entire evening there with friends. You have to call the service staff once or twice, but they are all friendly. Overall a stable shop.

Unfortunately I wasn't convinced, the waiter spoke very quietly and you could hardly understand him, and he couldn't answer questions. The music in the shop was very loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. Our table shook and the staff wasn't particularly helpful. An experience that I could have saved myself.

That wasn't quite my taste... The service leaves a lot to be desired... You have to wait a long time to be served, even if the waiters have a reputation... Prices were quite okay... But they won't see me there again...

Today we spontaneously went to Pomodoro again. The food was again plentiful and tasty. Absolutely top value for money, especially in this location. The service was very friendly and accommodating. I particularly liked the fact that children are seen as guests here and are taken just as seriously as adults! Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back!
