Found it by chance... we stopped at this cozy restaurant. The order was received very quickly. Drinks came quickly and then ..... the greeting from the kitchen, which was really delicious. The dishes are served very attractively and impress not only visually but also in terms of taste. There is also a good selection of beers. In addition, the waitresses are all nice and attentive. Which really made the visit very pleasant.

Small, well-kept and cozy restaurant. Very nice service. The menu is a little smaller, but the taste is even greater. Great sauces, tender meat, and the garlic soup is more than the famous hammer.

Great ambience, great, friendly, courteous staff and the food is really great. The porting is very large. I can recommend the garlic soup!!!! But it's so big that you have a lot to do with the main course.

Very nice Bohemian restaurant, run by a small family business with a lot of passion and love. The long-awaited dream came true two years ago. Very warm service and super delicious Bohemian food. Good luck and always nice, satisfied guests. Many greetings from the two Brandenburgers.

The atmosphere in the Loakal is very nice and cozy on both floors. There was nothing to complain about when it came to service...very nice. We were actually hoping for a great meal after receiving a delicious greeting from the kitchen. After exactly 52 minutes of waiting for our main meal, the children were already very bored. Unfortunately, the four main courses were very lacking. In one meal the meat was very salty, in the baked cauliflower there was a lack of salt, in the fried chicken thigh the sauce was too salty (and in the fourth meal the dumplings were from the supermarket and not homemade...everyone has to decide for themselves). As favorites of Bohemian cuisine, we don't go here anymore.

Delicious! Gluten-free wasn't a problem either, as the sauces were thickened with cornstarch.

Tastefully furnished on two floors. Small but nice card. We had dumplings with creamy roast beef with cranberries. But before that, a little greeting comes from the kitchen. Really good. Very authentic food and of course Czech beer. That was very tasty and a pleasant surprise for us as guests...We had Becherovka with ginger and orange notes...Hm...So we'll be happy to come back...

Very tasty Czech main dishes and there is Kofola as a drink. The kitchen will provide you with a topinka as a starter beforehand. Super nice staff, we got the table straight away even without a reservation. Overall great! Dekujeme

Very friendly service, but it can't improve the Bohemian dumplings. If you ever get to try homemade dumplings or even cook them yourself in the Czech Republic, it will unfortunately be a big disappointment. Unfortunately, red cabbage is also not recommended.

The location is cozy and the service is very friendly. First there was the greeting from the kitchen. Garlic bread with carrot salad, tomato, cucumber and herbs. That was very tasty. For the main course I had roast beef with Czech dumplings and cranberries and cream. I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very nicely located, far away from the typical tourist locations. Hearty, good Bohemian cuisine, we highly recommend the roast pork with sauerkraut and the typical dumplings, with a dark Staropramen, delicious. Of course, price-performance is also convincing.

Waited a long time, food worse than expected

Really great restaurant, not far from the center. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The food was super tasty and high quality. Small, fine menu. We were almost full from the starter. However, it was difficult for us to leave even a bite left.😀 Prices absolutely ok. We recommend.

A very clear recommendation for this chic little restaurant in the "second row" behind the shopping mile 😉. Small menu but everything is fresh and extremely tasty, elegantly prepared and more than reasonable in terms of price. Staff very pleasant and friendly. We will definitely come back here very soon.

We came here as holidaymakers and wanted to be surprised. If you're slightly hungry, Czech potato salad with schnitzel was offered. The portion was quite large for the small appetite. The K salad was ok. But the schnitzel was a frozen product. Like a breaded beer mat and not edible. The other dish was Bohemian dumpling slices with roast pork topped with a pile of whipped cream and soaked in lots of sauce. We are newbies to Bohemian cuisine. But that was nothing. We complained about the frozen schnitzel there. It was not taken off the bill. There was a Becherovka. No consolation.

We had dinner here last night. All three really liked the restaurant. It's a small, cozy and rather quiet. We were able to chat in a very relaxed manner. The service was courteous, despite some special requests from us. The food was great. Price-performance was ok. The menu itself is manageable, but rather meat-heavy. At least there are vegetarian versions. In summary, we spent a lovely evening here. I'll be back just for the garlic soup. Best regards

The food was excellent, from the starter (garlic soup) to the main course (roast beef, pork) and dessert (pancakes with ice cream and fruit). The service was attentive and the prices were fair. There was little activity at lunchtime.

A nice evening. We discovered the small, cozy restaurant and are really impressed. The garlic bread alone is very successful. Vegetarians can also find delicious food, which is a unique selling point in the region! The prices are great for the good quality of the food. The relatively small room makes it seem very cozy and invites you to linger. We'd love to come back!

Small restaurant, not entirely authentic, but that doesn't make it any less good. We were just passing through and looking for something to eat after a long day. And we were completely surprised. Super friendly staff. We were surprised with a 'greeting from the kitchen', which is not on the menu. Topinky with grated carrots, 5 stars for that alone. Then came the main course. The meat was tender and the sauce was spicy. Even I, who is not usually a big fan of sauerkraut, ate the sauerkraut. We ended up having to drag ourselves out of the restaurant stuffed up to our ears because we just couldn't stop eating. If we were from the region, we would be regulars. We will definitely come back on our next vacation.

Very nice restaurant not far from the shopping street. Typical Czech food at reasonable prices. The garlic bread is a great starter for the evening. We can also really recommend the garlic soup. Something completely different. The roulades were tasty but unfortunately a bit dry. But the rest was really good.

The food is simply not edible. We had dinner with 8 people. The goulash was served with tendons and excessive amounts of fat in a really poorly seasoned sauce and a "ready-made dumpling" from the wholesale market, without any vegetables. The roast pork was similar, probably just a different "bucket" from which the sauce came. The chicken leg Baked completely dry, served with a side salad that was seasoned in an oriental way, is also not worth the price. The snack consisted of a composition drowned in fat, toasted into rusks and overloaded with "cheap" packaged "Aldi sausage" and unmelted grated cheese, also not Approximately tasty. It's best not to talk about the Bulgarian cauliflower with oriental spices and the baked cauliflower. Only the pancake was edible. There doesn't seem to be a trained chef in the kitchen here. If you want to have a good Czech or other meal, it's better to look for another location. I would have liked to write a better review, but that would simply be wrong, sorry about that.

We were out in Wernigerode at an late hour and wanted to eat and drink something. We discovered the small restaurant on a side street. We were served quickly in a very pleasant atmosphere. The menu is authentic and there is delicious beer.

I discovered the store today and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the beef roulade with red cabbage, which was very tasty, but a bit much for me. But it has nothing to say, I eat more like a sparrow anyway

Very nice restaurant and super tasty. Very nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and it was no problem ordering the food as a senior portion. Were here for the first time and can recommend it. We will eat here again on our next stay in Wernigerode. Or maybe even this weekend.

The most delicious garlic soup ever. Everything else was great too, again at any time. Good service, nice atmosphere and prices absolutely ok.

Unfortunately only 3 stars. Staff friendly but overwhelmed. Four of us were there on a Sunday. Food is plentiful and therefore the price/performance ratio is ok. The garlic soup for 7.50 is enough for 2. However, it didn't really convince us. I remember Bohemian cuisine differently. That certain something is missing. The negative thing was that the plates weren't cleared away and no one asked for desert or schnapps. Because no one came. We would have liked to drink another Becherovka for 6.20 euros. Other guests waited 45 minutes for the starter. Maybe it was because we were sitting upstairs. The facility was probably taken over by the Zeitwerk. Unfortunately our clothes smelled very much like food. Not pleasant. When paying, a different table was charged. That must not be. So not again anytime soon.

By chance we found a voucher from this restaurant in our enjoyment points book. Showed it and 2 people could eat for one price. The portions are very generous and very tasty. So it is highly recommended to visit this restaurant and enjoy the Bohemian cuisine. Really great.

The two of us ate here for the first time. Really nice atmosphere and a very clear menu. I like this very much. It's better to have a few less menus and have them be really good. We had a starter and a main course each. A small greeting also came from the kitchen – garlic bread with cheese. What can you say, just absolutely delicious! And also very important for some people. You get full. 😊 The service is friendly, everything is neat and tidy and yes, the toilets are clean too. So everything fits. We will definitely come back here again and try the cocktails too.

Relaxed location, great service - super friendly. The starters were very nicely presented - and also tasty. However, main courses are anything but recommended. Goulash was very spicy, roast pork with mushrooms was completely unseasoned & the schnitzel was terrible - frozen fries product, incredibly sour, tough - inedible. The service was great - but out of 6 meals, 6 were not recommended!

Four of us ate there and had a very fun girls' evening there. Although you felt like you were being too loud when you laughed. It was a clear and completely sufficient map. I didn't eat anything typically Czech, but it was very tasty. My friends thought so too. There was a greeting from the kitchen, thank you again for that. The restaurant is bright, friendly and modern, food, beer, cocktails are great, toilets are clean. Gladly again 👍🏻

Ein super nett eingerichtetes Restaurant...die Karte mag zwar klein sein aber jedes Gericht schmeckt einfach super lecker(haben alle probiert) wir sind so oft da und die Gastfreundschaft wird so gross geschrieben!!! Klein, gemütlich, nen bisschen versteckt und ganz ganz toll. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auf den Punkt, der Service super und sehr freundlich. Wer Lust auf nicht ganz so viel Trubel, tolle böhmische Küche hat und in Wernigerode ist, unbedingt vorbei schauen. Sehr zu empfehlen 👌🏻😊

Perfekt. Wir waren begeistert vom Essen und Personal. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Geheimtipp da es ruhig und abgelegen ist. Somit findet man immer Platz und bekommt rasch sein Essen.

Nachdem wir am Freitag Abend ohne Reservierung leider spontan keinen Tisch mehr bekommen haben ,haben wir für den nächsten Tag einen Tisch reserviert und durften in einem gemütlichen Ambiente ein leckeres Essen genießen. Wir haben uns für die Roulade und das gebacken Huhn entschieden und zum Nachtisch der bei den Portionsgrössen gut noch passte gab es einen sehr guten Germknödel. Wir haben uns wohl und sehr willkommen gefühlt, das Essen war toll, der Wein dazu ebenfalls. Wir kommen gerne wieder
