If you just want a drink, this isn't the right place. The waiter will force you to order something to eat as well. They haven't yet grasped the concept of hospitality. Today I'm just having a drink, and maybe another time I'll come for dinner. So my advice to you: don't be so arrogant, become a good host, and you'll have a chance of surviving here in the long run.

The food is truly amazing, and so are the cocktails! The location by the water is truly beautiful. The waiters were all very nice, BUT the young waiter with the curly hair who tells everyone he's from Berlin is a complete no-go! Arrogant, sometimes cheeky, and arrogant. You get responses like, "Your food just arrived over the bridge by car and will take a while" or "Your husband ate here with another woman last week, did you know that?" We've never experienced such rudeness. The table next to us even approached us about it. That's not doing anyone any favors.

We were at your restaurant with a birthday party, and the food was very good. Two of the party members were overweight. The waiter repeatedly grabbed their stomachs and laughed at them. As they left the restaurant, he asked other guests to watch and laughed loudly. All 14 guests at the birthday party were very shocked. The waiter's behavior was extremely disrespectful.

Great location, 5 stars Service, 1 star We had to wait a very long time for our order to be taken. Priority was given to guests who arrived later. In the meantime, no one checked back. With difficulty, we were able to ask for the bill. Again, we had to wait forever, and only after repeated requests did someone come. Payment is only possible in cash or via PayPal. We were pressured to pay with PayPal, but they wanted cash. When we asked if we could get a bill, they suggested we take a photo of the digital ordering device. The waiter would have to leave again and didn't have time for a proper receipt. The limited payment options were only indicated by a small, easily overlooked sign at the entrance. The food gets 2 stars. I love Vietnamese food. I even backpacked in Vietnam myself. I had a coconut soup with shrimp (number 12). It was very, very sweet. I also ordered bun bo nom bo. This was also very sweet, with only a few peanuts, and occasionally a red chili was hidden among the seemingly red peppers. The spiciness was unexpected and very spicy indeed. The dish tasted only slightly like a typical Vietnamese dish. My main course was also very expensive at €16.90. I can get the dish much cheaper in Leipzig (around €9.90 to €14.90).

I often eat at Asian restaurants and this is far and beyond the best I have ever visited. The food (specifically the fried rice noodles with crispy duck and banana fritters) was delicious and generously flavoured, with the right amount of sauce and portion sizes to sate even a large individual such as myself. The staff were also amazing, entertaining and with a great sense of humour. Would definitely come back here - 10/10!

Children? Please go away! We visited the restaurant last night with our three children. It was the last evening of our short vacation in Torgau. We would have much preferred the outdoor seating on the banks of the Elbe, but since it was raining, we had to sit in the rather crowded and noisy winter garden. Everything was fine so far. The waiter initially ignored us for quite some time, and our toddler fell asleep before we had even ordered. When the food finally arrived, our child woke up and the baby became slightly restless. The background noise was generally very loud, and our children, just like children, were children. We tried to calm them both down. The visibly annoyed waiter came to our table several times and seemed to want to escort us out of the restaurant with gestures. But we had just finished our appetizers. When the toddler started crying, he opened the front of the winter garden and, in full view of the other guests, unequivocally ordered my husband out of the restaurant with the words, "Please take a break!" I was left sitting alone with the other two children and had to make a decision – when our food arrived, we had it packed up. We paid over 100 euros, and they were obviously glad to be rid of us. I've never experienced such child-unfriendly behavior. The next nasty surprise came back at the accommodation: the children's portions were a joke. 11 euros for a small handful of fries without any seasoning. Thank you very much. We're very sad to have spent so much money (I even tipped in my overwhelm) on such heartless service. Not a happy end to a vacation. If you have children, please go somewhere else.

Today, five of us had lunch here. Unfortunately, the noodles were too soft, the duck too dry, the spring rolls too hard, and the chicken was too dry and hard. The salad was the worst. Too big and too coarsely cut. Some of it was too hard to chew and therefore difficult to swallow. Stringy and unmarinated. After speaking to the waitress, we received only excuses, strange comparisons, and unprofessional answers. We said they should consider our comments a tip, but unfortunately, we realized that our COMMENTS were of no interest to the waitress. We won't be back.

We had a wok dish and sushi. The wok-fried vegetables were absolutely perfect, still firm to the bite, but definitely not raw and incredibly flavorful. The meat, noodles, and sauce were also just right. The sushi was also very tasty; we only had raw salmon, which was tender and fresh. The sushi was also beautifully presented. By the way, you can't see the restaurant from the street, and Google Maps and Apple Maps both show a slightly (!) incorrect location. Once you've "arrived," just park and turn onto the quiet street :)

Didn't live there, just ate there

We've been there twice so far. The first time we ordered the vegan duck, and we were assured that the dish was completely vegan. The second time we ordered it again, but unfortunately, it turned out that the dish was only vegetarian. A more detailed declaration is needed! What I found very strange, however, was when I asked about vegan alternatives, for example, adding bell pepper sushi to my cucumber sushi, they said that unfortunately wasn't possible. This makes me wonder how fresh the sushi is made if they can't even accommodate an "extra" request.

The food tastes good to very good. But: If it's advertised as shrimp and it contains surimi, it's cheating the customer. Hence only one star! The proverbial Asian friendliness here tends to mock the customer. Less is more. Not receiving a receipt could also invite a visit from the tax office.

Just for the food: Excellent. Everything is very fresh, beautifully seasoned. Large portions. Great location right on the Elbe River. A bike path runs by, really beautiful. Recommended dishes: - Bò Xào Lúc Lăc - Nom Xoai - Curry with salmon Drinks are also great. Everything is a bit more expensive than the standard Vietnamese fare, but it's worth it.

Even the appetizer was lovingly presented and really whetted our appetite – and the main course was just as delicious: generous portions, freshly prepared, and perfectly flavored. We would especially like to highlight the extremely friendly waiter, who served us attentively and warmly – you really feel welcome here. The ambiance inside is truly beautiful: lots of warm wood, lovely details, and a cozy atmosphere. It's also wonderful to sit outside – the large, covered outdoor area offers plenty of space and shelter, even in changeable weather. Another plus point: You can conveniently pay with PayPal – very contemporary! Conclusion: A great place to relax, enjoy, and return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good Vietnamese food in a special setting.

I was absolutely thrilled with this restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious – freshly prepared, authentic, and with great attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by the Vietnamese dishes and the sushi. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. What I liked most, however, was the friendly and attentive service. The staff were very polite, helpful, and went out of their way to make our visit as pleasant as possible. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

After 30 minutes, someone finally came and took our drink order, which actually arrived 15 minutes later. Drinks were forgotten, not all tables were occupied, very poor service. We've had better food.

We ordered fried noodles with duck. We were able to pick it up after 40 minutes. €17.50 for a plate portion is a bit cheeky, I think. Furthermore, the food was completely inedible. I have no idea what "fried noodles" means here, but it was just thick macaroni, with absolutely no seasoning. It was as if it had been taken out of the pot and thrown in. The "duck" was half-raw, buttery soft, and practically melted on the fork. So, that was the first and last time in this place.

What happened there was very surprising. A friendly welcome, very comfortable seating. You should reserve in advance, but during the week, they sometimes offer spontaneous seating. There's a long wait before the staff comes to see you for the first time, but if you've ordered, it's pretty quick. The drinks are great, the food is truly delicious, and I'm not really a fan of Vietnamese food. No burping afterward, fair prices! Highly recommended! Currently, no card payments accepted! Only cash or PayPal! Oh, and you can also sit directly on the Elbe.

The proportion of meat, as well as the quantity and freshness of the fish, are also just right! A little tip for vegetarians and vegans: there are some great options for you; we highly recommend the vegan duck. A truly excellent and delicious alternative! I don't want to write much about the service (long wait times, despite a nearly empty restaurant), the taste (it was really decent! Especially for Torgau), and everything else. But! We were there in a group of four couples, eight people. Two days later, six of the eight people developed severe symptoms, and all of them were diagnosed with salmonella based on lab results. Sorry! Not in a restaurant in Germany. A report will also be made to the health department.

The food wasn't bad, even if it arrived lukewarm. This was probably because the place was simply too busy for the staff, and it took forever to place the order...and everything else. QUESTIONABLE, however, is the payment method...only via PayPal!!! With the new app, a photo of a QR code + re-registering, and then transferring money...??? That's simply not possible!!! What a shame... I won't go again, even though the menu has a lot to offer.

A great sushi experience at Viet Nam Asia Cuisine & Sushi – Altes Bootshaus! The dishes are presented extremely beautifully with fresh sashimi, rich sushi, and melt-in-your-mouth fish. Cozy space, friendly service, lights and smoke effects create a feeling of both luxury and fun. This is definitely one of the best sushi restaurants I've ever been to!

The sushi was first class. Price performance is also right and you have a great view of the Elbe.

We went to Vietnam for lunch. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, the food was great and fresh. It was my husband's birthday and when the hosts found out about it, he was given a special Happy Birthday treat and a serenade. Such a lovely gesture. We'd love to come back.

Today we were here in a group of 5 and had a table at 1 p.m. Our drinks came relatively quickly, I had a ginger lemonade myself (very generous portion, definitely a plus), although the wine was a bit low. The first appetizer came around half past two. About 20 minutes later the rest + my main course. Only after asking and after about another 20 minutes did the remaining main courses arrive. An apology was made that the kitchen was overwhelmed. Nevertheless, the waiting time caused some dissatisfaction among our group and other guests. The food was very tasty, we can recommend sushi. The fried noodles were also well received.

Yesterday we went out to eat and were completely thrilled by the great food and especially the casual friendliness of the staff. Despite a few small bumps, I'm still completely satisfied at first. We wish the team all the best and always satisfied guests. 👌👌

It's an average visit we waited forever to get our food. We didn't get any cutlery to eat with for a long time and the waiter seemed visibly overwhelmed. Despite few visitors. It can be expanded! The food is delicious, no question they still need to work on the rest.

The service was perfect, things were explained e.g. Vietnamese espresso. The staff were very warm and joking, so you immediately felt welcome and wanted. I visited the new Vietnamese restaurant in our city today and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with beautiful decoration that immediately immersed me in Vietnamese culture. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the service was quick and efficient. The menu offered a wide variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes. Overall, our visit to the new Vietnamese restaurant was a complete success. The prices were very reasonable, the portions were generous and the quality of the food was excellent. I can only recommend this restaurant and will certainly return soon!
