Gaststätte "Goldener Reiter" in Torgau

Amazing food! I had a truly amazing Lambrusco (wine) in the sun on the terrace. It was accompanied by a dish from the daily menu: Conchiglione alla mamma (stuffed and baked shell pasta). It was delicious. The flavors were well-balanced: the eggplant, the mushrooms... It was a poem. Beautifully presented and super easy to eat. Even the temperature of the dish was perfect. Bravo! The zabaione for dessert was also fresh, hot, and authentic. I'll definitely be back!

Excellent service and the food was great too. One of the few opportunities to get something vegan.

We felt very comfortable at the Ratskeller. The friendly service was very attentive, but not intrusive. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. Even though we arrived late in the evening after our bike ride, we were surprised with a delicious menu. The restaurant is centrally located in Torgau's old town, right on the market square.

The legendary mascarpone raspberry cream has always drawn me back (I really hope it comes back 😍). Over the years, this inn has become our absolute favorite. Beautiful German cuisine combines tradition with modernity. Incredibly well executed. The food is a dream. You can tell that they still work passionately to ensure 99.99% satisfaction. I'm a "special" guest, and my special requests are always accommodated whenever possible. I rarely experience that these days. Likewise, everyone who works there deserves to be appreciated with respect, consideration, and generous tips. Thank you for your passion 🤗🤗🤩🤩
