Restaurant Pellolitto Pizzamanufaktur in Trier

As locals, this has actually been our favorite place to eat delicious pizza in Trier for about two years. Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience today. The dough and cheese were more reminiscent of the quality of an average delivery service. We expected more for the prices quoted - even taking inflation into account. It's a shame, because we've always been very satisfied so far. For now, this was probably our last visit. Maybe we'll come back at some point - but then in the hope that the quality has improved again. We very much hope that this was just an outlier and not the start of a negative trend, as has unfortunately already been observed in many other pizzerias. See you then!

Great restaurant "Pellolitto", you can't beat it so quickly.

Don't make the mistake of sitting down at a table without asking. This was subtly made known to us that this was not the intention and we were given more than enough time to think about it. The pizzas were good but not more than that. Maybe we had a bad experience but we won't be back

Absolutely premium gluten-free pizza, definitely one of the top 5 in Germany for me. The service was very nice and the atmosphere was pleasant even in the shade in summer. Gladly again.

Absolut eine gute Pizza. Weicht von allen bisherigen Pizzen ab. Sehr originell und Top. Der oder die Belege sind mal etwas ganz anderes. Geschmacklich gut abgestimmt. Ist eigentlich gar keine richtige Pizza, sondern eine neue Spezialität die hervorragend schmeckt.

My wife and I came across this small, romantic trattoria by chance. Friendliest service, friendly atmosphere and an exceptional menu: Pizza Rote Beetroot! I had never tried anything like that, fantastico! Highly recommended!

We can fully recommend the Pellolitto pizza factory! Although we have been living in Trier for a few years, this small but fine pizzeria unfortunately remained undiscovered by us, but after our first visit we will definitely stop by more often in the future. The menu offers a variety of interesting pizza variations that you don't see often, but which all sound tempting. Both of our pizzas tasted very good, as did the starters and desserts. The service was extremely good and attentive. Thank you for the nice evening and see you soon!

We had a really good meal here. The service was extremely nice, you could tell how much love the small family business is run with. We had tagliata di manzo, strips of beef fillet on rocket and parmesan, and a very tasty pizza. When we're in Trier again, we know where we're going to eat.

The food was good, but for the price, I expected more: more flavor and more food. The "Devil's Avocado" pizza was topped with a whopping three small prawns and a few avocado rings. Unfortunately, I thought of taking a photo too late. The service was friendly and good. The atmosphere is so-so. It's very cramped and incredibly loud there. One fewer table in the row would have been much better, as it would have prevented you from overhearing the conversation at the next table. Unfortunately, that was unavoidable and rather unpleasant. I don't think I'll go back.

Really delicious food and great service! The pizza is amazing, exactly how you want it. But it's pretty tight inside - everything is full, there are small tables, so it quickly becomes cozy. If you like it cozy, you might feel a bit cramped. Still a top shop if you want to enjoy really good pizza!

Unreservedly recommended! Super friendly service and really great food at a completely reasonable price! If we come back to Trier, we will definitely eat here again!

We went to Pellolitto Pizzamanufaktur on the recommendation of friends – and it was just great! The beetroot carpaccio as a starter was incredibly tasty, and the pizza afterwards was simply perfect - crispy base, fresh ingredients and really good taste. The service was super friendly and the whole atmosphere was really cozy. We felt really comfortable and will definitely come back. Clear recommendation! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wir sind spontan ohne Reservierung hin. Das Restaurant war leer an einem Samstag mittag. Das kam uns schon komisch vor... Auch noch um 13h waren wir die einzigen Gäste Als die Pizzen kamen, wussten wir definitiv wieso... Perfekt runde Pizzen, wie mit dem Zirkel vorgezeichnet, perfekt in den sehr kleinen Teller passend,ein definitiv vorgefertigter Teig, wie man ihn aus dem TK Bereich begegnet... Steinofen? Den wollen wir gerne sehen... Mein italienischer Freund war so schokiert, dass er sich nicht mal die Mühe mehr gemacht hat, sich zu beschweren....Das Essen kommt mit einem Lift von oben oder unten ohne Abdeckung und Schutz. Der Lift sieht nicht besonders einladend aus, aber die perfekt runden Teller passen 1a rein... Sein Fazit : die absolut schlechteste Pizza die er jeh gegessen hat. Den einen Stern gilt einzig und alleine dem Personal, was freundlich und zuvorkommend war. Sehr schade !

I really enjoy eating there. There is a very cozy atmosphere and the food is delicious. It is not self-evident that with such a fair price-performance ratio the dishes are characterized primarily by the quality of the ingredients. Can only recommend the restaurant <3

We were welcomed in despite having no reservation, and had the gnocchi and ‘ring of fire’ pizza. Both were absolutely delicious. The best pizza we’ve ever had, and the prices incredibly reasonable. The owner was very kind and welcoming as well. We will eat here whenever returning to Trier!

Unfortunately, the pizzas are very small and definitely look like they are pre-made because they are exactly round and are brought with a food lifter. The store was almost empty on a Saturday lunchtime... There was another couple there who was also audibly dissatisfied. The service was attentive and friendly and the ambience was good.

Small restaurant tucked away on a side street. Very cozy interior, we were also warmly welcomed. The food and drink selection is good, the price/performance ratio is right. The food was excellent, the service was great, we really liked it, we would choose the restaurant again if we go to Trier. I picked out the restaurant based on the rating and then asked the hotel again beforehand and they also recommended this restaurant. People (who themselves come from Trier) asked us in the restaurant how we came across the insider tip, so that should mean something.

Ein kleines aber feines Restaurant mit einer nicht alltäglichen Auswahl an Pizzavariationen. Die Pizzen haben uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Ambiente ist einfach, dennoch geschmacklos eingerichtet. Der Service ist sehr flott und freundlich zugleich. Hierher kommen wir wieder sehr gerne.

We had pizza and Spanish wine. Food was excellent and so was the wine. They were extremely helpful , friendly and accommodating to our food allergies. I highly recommend this cozy and charming restaurant.

After ordering my pizza, it was on the table after about 4 to 5 minutes. The pizza dough didn't taste like a real pizza, because of the speed I suspect it was ready-made dough. The menu outside does not correspond to the menu in the restaurant, unfortunately the service was a bit rude, I also gave my feedback on that!

Clean and cozy atmosphere with personal touches. Brilliant “wall paintings”😬. Super friendly service, we felt very comfortable. But most importantly: the food was amazing. Very creative pizza compositions that were simply outstanding in terms of taste. We will definitely come back.

The pizzeria in the heart of Trier is a real insider tip! When you enter the restaurant you are immediately greeted by the cozy, Italian atmosphere. The boss is particularly nice and her warm manner ensures that you immediately feel welcome. I decided on a portion of carpaccio and absolutely loved it. The meat was thinly sliced, tender and perfectly seasoned. The combination with fresh rocket, parmesan and a squeeze of lemon rounded off the dish wonderfully. It was one of the best portions of carpaccio I've had in a long time. In summary: Bella Italia is a must for lovers of Italian cuisine. A quiet corner directly adjacent to the busy pedestrian zone. Just reading the menu is a pleasure as it is peppered with puns. The dishes are innovative and creative, but the high-quality products used are also impressive. In short, surprising, entertaining and above all REALLY DELICIOUS!

Worst gnocchi ever. A little tip: fry briefly in olive oil and then serve with fresh sage and parmesan.

Exceptional - when the food comes to the table it looks like a work of art. And that's how it tastes. The selection of wine and sparkling wine rounds off the taste experience wonderfully - including products from the region. The service was very attentive and courteous. It's a shame, as a guest you don't feel like waiting for a free table inside. It's nice when a store is busy, but saying "unfortunately we don't have space right now" is better than saying "I'm not interested"! When we waited under the umbrella for a few minutes because of the rain, we were shouted “now something is free”, so we weren’t in the mood anymore…
