The pizza tastes great. The staff is very friendly, and gluten-free was also possible without any problems. People here are very familiar with the topic of contamination. Great for people with celiac disease!! We'll definitely be back.

The food was excellent, the service was great, we really liked it, we would choose the restaurant again if we go to Trier. I picked out the restaurant based on the rating and then asked the hotel again beforehand and they also recommended this restaurant. People (who themselves come from Trier) asked us in the restaurant how we came across the insider tip, so that should mean something.

Ein kleines aber feines Restaurant mit einer nicht alltäglichen Auswahl an Pizzavariationen. Die Pizzen haben uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Ambiente ist einfach, dennoch geschmacklos eingerichtet. Der Service ist sehr flott und freundlich zugleich. Hierher kommen wir wieder sehr gerne.

We had pizza and Spanish wine. Food was excellent and so was the wine. They were extremely helpful , friendly and accommodating to our food allergies. I highly recommend this cozy and charming restaurant.

After ordering my pizza, it was on the table after about 4 to 5 minutes. The pizza dough didn't taste like a real pizza, because of the speed I suspect it was ready-made dough. The menu outside does not correspond to the menu in the restaurant, unfortunately the service was a bit rude, I also gave my feedback on that!

Clean and cozy atmosphere with personal touches. Brilliant “wall paintings”😬. Super friendly service, we felt very comfortable. But most importantly: the food was amazing. Very creative pizza compositions that were simply outstanding in terms of taste. We will definitely come back.

The pizzeria in the heart of Trier is a real insider tip! When you enter the restaurant you are immediately greeted by the cozy, Italian atmosphere. The boss is particularly nice and her warm manner ensures that you immediately feel welcome. I decided on a portion of carpaccio and absolutely loved it. The meat was thinly sliced, tender and perfectly seasoned. The combination with fresh rocket, parmesan and a squeeze of lemon rounded off the dish wonderfully. It was one of the best portions of carpaccio I've had in a long time. In summary: Bella Italia is a must for lovers of Italian cuisine. A quiet corner directly adjacent to the busy pedestrian zone. Just reading the menu is a pleasure as it is peppered with puns. The dishes are innovative and creative, but the high-quality products used are also impressive. In short, surprising, entertaining and above all REALLY DELICIOUS!

Worst gnocchi ever. A little tip: fry briefly in olive oil and then serve with fresh sage and parmesan.

Exceptional - when the food comes to the table it looks like a work of art. And that's how it tastes. The selection of wine and sparkling wine rounds off the taste experience wonderfully - including products from the region. The service was very attentive and courteous. We will definitely come back whenever we are in Trier.

It's a shame, as a guest you don't feel like waiting for a free table inside. It's nice when a store is busy, but saying "unfortunately we don't have space right now" is better than saying "I'm not interested"! When we waited under the umbrella for a few minutes because of the rain, we were shouted “now something is free”, so we weren’t in the mood anymore…

An absolute top address in Trier! Super fresh and unusual pizzas. Very accommodating and a nice atmosphere. We can highly recommend it.

After our wonderful trip to Trier, we wanted to end the day in a restaurant. After a short research we decided on this restaurant, which we didn't regret afterwards. The menu offers some experimental dishes, but they were always harmoniously coordinated. The service was very accommodating, friendly and attentive. Overall, there was a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant and we had a wonderful evening. Thank you again for that!

Mega, mega delicious!! Try something else besides the pizzas. We had the beef on arugula salad with a wonderful dressing. Plus a pizza bread with anchovies and tuna. A dream.. the beef was well cured, but still not dry. We award 7 points! We have to deduct one point because the locks in the women's toilet were broken and one because the bad practice here is that card payments are not possible at the moment. I find that outrageous.

It's not comfortable to sit in and my pizza was so extremely greasy that it made me sick. There was so much oil on the pizza that I had to blot it off with a napkin.

In Trier city center you can eat gluten-free pizza in the Pellolitto restaurant, which was the real reason for our visit. What we didn't know or had overlooked: there is a lunch break there - and we arrived right at the start of it. Actually, we would have been unlucky, but what a pity: the super-friendly waitress noticed our 'need' and invited us in anyway, shortened her break and looked after us. That alone is 7 out of 5 stars for warmth and empathy, but... ..the food we ordered was also really great (and cheap), the atmosphere was great, clean. Simply remarkable and great in every instance. Thank you very much for the great welcome and hospitality and of course: goodbye. Highest recommendation, both for gluten allergy sufferers and for everyone else.

Everything perfect! Have been very satisfied every time so far. Unusual selection with creative and delicious pizza toppings - also suitable for vegetarians.

Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed. The food was actually delicious, but the staff was kind of beside themselves. No smile and not even a question asking if everything was okay. I had the feeling that we weren't welcome with a child and after asking for some blank spaghetti for our daughter we were a bit surprised. 7 euros for spaghetti, without sauce. By the way, the change was simply kept even though we didn't say anything. We are very enthusiastic about the city of Trier but we will not go to this Italian restaurant again.

For us personally it is THE Italian in Trier. The entire concept (interior, menu, staff, etc.) is extremely successful. If you want a warm and welcoming atmosphere, this is the place for you. The chef does a great job and so does the rest of the team. Big praise to the restaurateur - everything was done right. We are already looking forward to the next visit!

I chose this restaurant specifically because of the gluten-free pizza and it was the right decision! Super nice service, good price performance. Pizza was very tasty (we were pleasantly surprised that there was no extra charge for the gluten-free one) We will definitely come back to eat with you on our next trip to Trier! :)

We discovered the restaurant during our vacation in Trier - and we enjoyed it so much that we went there twice! The staff is very nice and attentive, the atmosphere is very nice and cozy. And the food was super delicious too! Gladly again ☺️

Better late than never - we were here last year and absolutely loved it! On the one hand, the employees were super friendly and on the other hand, their colleagues seemed to really enjoy experimenting in the kitchen - with success! They have gluten-free pizzas, but no gluten-free pasta. The pasta menu said “spaghetti with beef fillet tips with sautéed wild mushrooms in crème épaisse, pecorino cheese.” I was so keen on the beef fillet and wild mushrooms that I asked if they would serve me the dish on a pizza instead of pasta. Instead of the tomato sauce, I used the wild mushroom cream and it was fantastic! I will definitely order exactly the same thing again when we are in the corner again. I liked it so much that I thought they had to put it on the menu! I won't forget THE pizza, great combination. And it’s gluten-free too.

Really great! It's nice to sit in the middle of the city but still quiet, inside it's tastefully decorated with green velvet. We were a large group and this was managed professionally and with charm, the drinks arrived quickly and the food didn't take long to arrive either. And what a meal! The pizza with crispy, not too thin dough and many original toppings (my neighbor's Pizza Margherita was nice and juicy with lots of toppings), very good and fresh an avocado tabbouleh, tuna steak with a sesame coating on a fresh salad. A real effort is being made here! The price-performance ratio is right except for the pizza bread, which costs an incredible €10, pizza €12-18 PS: Aperol Spritz was also skillfully mixed.

Food is not tasty and seems to be not really fresh. Strongly not recommended. Inside everything looks dirty, the smell is not pleasant.

That was a pizza. Airy dough, fantastic topping. Nduja salami, gorgonzola and mozzarella. A celebration. If you just want to pop in a quick pizza, you've come to the wrong place.

The best thing first: service and ambience were very good. Pizza: couldn't be worse. Our pizzas didn't look like the photos online. The pizza dough had little to do with pizza dough. It was more of an almost sweet bread dough made from yeast. Taste, bad! Never again!

We girls were out and about in Trier and were very hungry!! And we never use the restaurants directly on the shopping street, i.e. in the side streets. And then there was the Pellolitto! There was a lot going on for lunch during the week. We were served straight away and received a very friendly welcome! It's a bit tight but somehow comfortable. There was something for everyone on the menu. After a lot of back and forth we decided on pizza ^^ and starter and desert ^^ and what do I have to say: "Everything was excellent" and the pizza was one of the best I've ever eaten. We were in pizza heaven. We will come back in any case!

Pellolitto is by far the best pizzeria (but not just pizza) in Trier. The food is always freshly prepared, very tasty and the service is always very friendly and respectful. We enjoyed our Christmas dinner there with a group of 8 and it was lovely. We usually enjoy the world's best pizza from Pello at least once a week ;) .. Our personal tip: Pizza The Devil’s Avocado, Pizza Ring of Fire, Avocado Tabbouleh Tartar, 2 Little Street Boys But ultimately everything so far has been a little explosion of enjoyment

The pizzas are small and the pizza crust is probably pre-made. At that price that's not okay.

The food and service are excellent, but the tables are so close together that undisturbed conversation is hardly possible. Unfortunately there is no solution for this.

Really delicious napolitan pizza restaurant with an intimate/romantic vibe. We went for dinner on a Wednesday and it was packed. The place is small so if possible, I'd recommend to call to make a reservation beforehand. The menu is extense and there's a wide range of pizzas with great ingredients combinations, including 2 versions of pineapple pizza (they grill the pineapples for it. If you're into it, you'll love it) and pizza with truffled ham (prosciutto tartufo). All the pizzas we tried were amazing. For dessert, we had the chocolate volcano with creme brulee to share. It was also really good. I'd definitely visit again. Really good quality for the price.
