The chicken I ordered was unfortunately served cold. They reheated it upon request, but honestly, I was hoping it would be freshly cooked and not reheated—I can do that at home. The salad and wine were, however, very tasty.

I've been to this wonderful Georgian restaurant twice now, and both visits were absolutely fantastic! The team is incredibly friendly every time and makes you feel completely at home. The Georgian dishes taste simply fantastic—authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is also outstanding: a very friendly and pleasant environment where you'll enjoy spending time. You can tell that a lot of love and heart goes into the work here. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! If you want to experience the highest quality Georgian cuisine, you should definitely stop by.

Absolutely loved my experience at this Georgian restaurant! The food was full of rich, authentic flavors—especially the khachapuri and khinkali, which were both delicious and freshly made. I can only agree with Ms. Tutarashvili's description. Besides, we had a table reservation. And yes, they seated us at the wrong table. Then we were moved, and five minutes later we had to change seats again. The "chadi" weren't cooked properly; the flour could have even been reused, as dry as it was. And yes, we did let them know, and they wanted to bring more. However, since it took so long for everyone to finish eating, it didn't change anything. And yes, you're probably right that we should see a doctor; it's a good thing we had a doctor with us. So, I can tell you, from a medical perspective, everyone is fine. So, is there only one other option? All in all, bad. Both the service and the food. And uncooperative, too.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed that after 20 minutes, no one asked for drinks. The courtyard was very rundown. After the rats started running around the courtyard, we left the restaurant without any food or drinks.

As a Georgian, I can say that this restaurant and its cuisine have nothing to do with Georgia. Pure disappointment and a waste of money. I ordered "Lobio with Chadi" and couldn't eat it. It wasn't freshly prepared: The lobio tasted like it came from an Aldi can, and the chadi was ice cold, old, and undercooked. I'll never go there again.

I ate at this so-called "Georgian" restaurant with my family, and I honestly don't know where to begin. As a native Georgian, I was embarrassed for the first time in my life by the way Georgian cuisine was presented there. What's served there under the name "Georgian specialties" has nothing to do with real Georgian cuisine, neither in terms of taste nor quality. It doesn't even taste remotely authentic. What's particularly disappointing is that the restaurant isn't even run by Georgians, even though the Georgian flag hangs large outside. This seems misleading and disrespectful to Georgian culture and cuisine. If you offer dishes from a particular country, you should prepare them with the necessary knowledge, respect, and understanding—and not just advertise them with the name. I don't know if the owners are Greek or of another nationality—it doesn't really matter anyway. But if you're not familiar with Georgian cuisine, please don't put Georgian dishes on the menu, especially not in this form. Georgian cuisine is among the best in the world, and it pains me to see how it's portrayed here. The service was also disorganized and unfriendly—unfortunately, a disaster from start to finish. My entire family was speechless, and we still are to this day. I'm not writing this review out of anger, but out of disappointment and the desire for people to seriously engage with Georgian cuisine if they want to champion it. Given the current state of affairs, please don't use the term "Georgian." And last but not least: If anyone suffers from digestive problems, this restaurant can definitely help. After eating, we all went to the bathroom much faster. At least there was some effect in that regard.

I just had dinner with my girlfriend. Tiflis is participating in the Schlemmerblock (sweet spot) competition. The staff knew by heart which page the voucher was on. We were greeted very warmly and asked to eat an hour earlier than my reservation, which wasn't a problem, but it wasn't busy either. I found the ambiance simple but by no means uncomfortable. I found the food solid, okay, but not a culinary delight. The portion was very filling; even I, a notorious overeater, was full, and I didn't get the feeling that quantity was taking precedence over quality. My girlfriend, however, was thrilled with her food. It was also very beautifully presented. So, all in all, it's definitely worth a try.

We spent 3 days in Trier and accidentally walked into this cozy restaurant. This is our third day having dinner here. Delicious, pleasant service, friendly atmosphere. The owner's son prepares soft, juicy kebabs, khachapuri and khinkali that are very, very tasty! We enjoyed it, we recommend it🤗

If you really want to try something new, I can highly recommend this restaurant. The service is friendly and comes by regularly to check if everything is OK. The atmosphere is very familiar and pleasant. The food is interesting - but you should make sure to let the staff know if you have something like that. B. would like more salt because everyone has their own taste. If you don't like something, they are happy to exchange the dish. This restaurant is really a matter of taste. I recommend coming during the week as there is less going on and everything goes faster. But you won't be disappointed on the weekend either. The only criticism is the music - it's a little too loud. Otherwise: a great restaurant!

Came across this restaurant by chance and have never enjoyed Georgian cuisine. The restaurant itself wasn't that impressive. Music very loud, lighting very unpleasant. Even if the restaurant wasn't fully booked, it was hard to have a conversation because the acoustics were very loud. What should definitely be changed and the seating was also very uncomfortable. The young waitress was very nice, but the older one wasn't so nice. But everyone has a bad day sometimes and it's easy to look past it. But now the most important thing. Our food was very tasty and sufficient, the wine was very tasty. Unfortunately we forgot to take photos of the delicious food, the anticipation of the taste was too great and we were not disappointed. Delicious cuisine and the restaurant can be recommended.

A very interesting restaurant! We had never eaten Georgian food before, but that changed after our visit today. Other, delicious dishes. Even if it doesn't look "Instagram-like" from the inside (everything is chic), it is a very original restaurant! Somehow it fits the style, maybe an insider tip in Trier? Hello! First of all, a big thank you to the kitchen! I don't understand all the negative reviews at all... I found the location to be cozy and there were lots of Georgian details in the room, I thought it was cool, the music was also great, pleasant and not too loud. The staff is nice and keeps asking if everything is OK, which I also think is nice. The food people, just super delicious 😋 🤤 😋 Everything was seasoned just right and served beautifully, we didn't have to wait long for the food even though the place was full. Everything tasted good to us. Perfect! Very clear recommendation. Don't let the negative comments mislead you.

We visited the restaurant for the second time. The first time we were satisfied and decided to return. Everything was fine until the second courses arrived. Out of 8 people - 3 people We ordered shish kebab. And they brought it completely burnt. When we informed the owner’s son about this, he replied that the meat would not be cooked any other way. We were not offered any compromise, and were not offered to change. As a result, 3 out of eight people were not satisfied with the hot dish. It's a pity.

We stopped by spontaneously and were warmly greeted and served. The map was in German (some with original names, under which you can't immediately imagine anything, but that's what Google & co are for). The portions generous, well seasoned (but not spicy). The toilet is in the outside courtyard, which is correspondingly cold in winter

In Trier's oldest inn, food from a distant land. Can this work well? When I entered the restaurant, I immediately noticed the cozy atmosphere. The waitress noticed me immediately and showed me to the previously reserved seat. When I looked at the menu, any fears I had about the cuisine, which was unfamiliar to me, immediately disappeared. The dishes were explained here and there were even photos. There was ostri, a beef stew, with Georgian bread. A Saperavi (dry red wine) was drunk with this. Both were very tasty and the attentive service quickly brought a second glass. Finally, there was pomace from the Saperavi grape as a “thunderstorm distributor”. At thirty-five euros, the price-performance ratio was also good. It went well in Trier's oldest inn, and I'm very happy to come back.

Delicious Georgian cuisine in a great ambiance! Recently I visited a Georgian restaurant and I was very impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with traditional Georgian music playing in the background. The food was delicious! I started with the khachapuri, a traditional Georgian bread filled with cheese and egg (khachapuri). It was cooked perfectly and the cheese was deliciously creamy. Then I had the khinkali, filled with meat and herbs. Perfect! Tasty! The service was also excellent. The waiter was friendly and helpful, and he gave us great recommendations. He made sure we had a great time. Overall I had a great experience at this Georgian restaurant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Georgian meal.

Tbilisi is a Georgian restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. We had a starter platter and kebab and calamari for the main course. Both the starters and the main courses were convincing. Price-performance ratio was okay, recommended to get to know Georgian cuisine.

Really good! We have never eaten Georgian before and enjoyed authentic and, above all, very tasty food - well seasoned, hearty, plentiful. We sat in a large bright courtyard with a casual atmosphere, the service was very friendly and relaxed, the food and drinks came quickly. From special appetizers to hearty shashlik/meat dishes to vegan dishes, there was something for everyone. We will be back and look forward to new, unknown specialties.

Positive: Good tasty food, which is typical of Georgia. Good wine. Nice lady from the service. Negative: You want a Georgian atmosphere, which is typical for the country. Pictures, etc... You miss that there. The toilets in the courtyard are just bad. But if you want to try Georgian food, you won't be disappointed there. One star deduction is because of the ambience.

I can't recommend the restaurant, we should have been suspicious - at around 8pm we were the only guests and were greeted with the words "One moment". The food was dripping in fat, tasteless and indefinable (Khachapuri and Lobiani Kotanschi). “Enjoy your meal” was wished to us by the “back of the landlady” after she had moved you about 2 meters away. Once and never again.....

Went in on a whim as I was passing by coz I'm reading a novel about Georgia. The food was interesting and good enough for me to go back but not mind-blowingly good. I have high standards. The thing that's hard to get one's head around, coz it would cost them nothing, was that the service was soviet style, charmless. The woman serving us cracked one smile only after a lot of prodding. The blokes sat at the bar were friendlier. The place had a weird sombre atmosphere. And weirdly, only male customers, mostly pairs, felt like we'd walked into a gay venue. I'd be tempted to go back just to check out the weird atmosphere again. I'd definitely go back but preferably in a big group to cheer the place up. I'm no expert but given the reputation of Georgian wine I had a glass of dry red. Thought it was really, really nice. I've been to other restaurants in Trier and other shops in the region, I'm thinking Luxembourg here, and in half of them they seem suspicious of you if you are friendly and staff seem to require a reason to smile, rather than a reason to stop smiling. Never think I'll get used to that; never want to get used to that. I guess I just hail from sunnier cultures.

What a coincidence. I get my Georgia travel guide delivered the day before. The next day, walk around the area and discover a Georgian restaurant in Trier, although the restaurant has been around since May 2023. It was time to try it straight away. Because of overcrowding I had to go to the counter. Had really nice conversations with the staff. Everything is very entertaining. The food was very tasty, freshly prepared. There was also homemade fresh bread. Everything perfect. Come back.

Ça faisait longtemps que je n’étais pas allé dans un restaurant géorgien et je n’ai pas été déçu. Le khatchapouri adjarien était vraiment très bon avec une pâte feuilletée parfaite. Le service très sympathique et en français a fait merveille.

Ich freue mich sehr, dass es in Trier endlich einen georgischen Restaurant gibt, der leckere georgische Spezialitäten zubereitet. Das Essen war super, besonders Khachapuri. Ein Punktabzug wegen der hohen Preisen (verglichen mit der durchschnittlichen Preisspanne anderer Restaurants). Vielleicht kann man da noch was machen, damit man öfters hingehen und leckere Gerichte genießen kann :)

Wow, richtig klasse. Authentische georgische Küche, die Preise sind sehr fair und die Portionen reichlich. Besonders das Khachapuri und die Chinkali schmecken absolut lecker.

Waren spontan zum Essen hier. Das Essen an sich ist lecker, nur nicht für jedermann. Die Speisen sind sehr fettig und nicht leicht bekömmlich. Die Vorspeisenplatte war gut aber etwas überteuert im Verhältnis zum Rest der Speisekarte.

Nous avons réservé via le site internet mais notre réservation n’a pas été prise en compte… Pas grave, il y avait de la place… Très bon BBC accueil en allemand et en russe (et sans doute géorgien 😊) Vaste choix de plats typiques et savoureux. Carte des boissons également intéressante, de supers vins géorgiens !!! Nous avons passé un excellent dimanche midi à nous régaler !!!

Очень милый ресторан. Блюда бомба🤤🤤🤤 всё приготовлено своими руками и всё свежее. Хачапури имерули было сочное и хрустящее, очень сочные Хинкали, салат грузинский тоже был свежий и очень вкусный. Шедевр всего меню были торты Наполеон и Медовик, тоже домашнего изделия. Просто невероятно вкусно. Может быть обстановка в ресторане не такая шикарная, скорее более скромная, но блюда изысканные, меню содержит все типичные блюда Грузии и приготовленны с любовью. Мы 240 км проехали, чтоб поужинать в грузинском ресторане и не пожалели. Мы обязательно вернёмся ❤️

были сегодня впервые, приехали за 100 км до этого ресторана, нас было 16 человек, все остались очень довольны, еда была свежо приготовлена, было очень вкусно, даже есть торты наполеон и медовик испечёной хозяйкой, торт таял ворту. Атмосфера была приятная, хозяйка была всегда вежлива. Приедим ещё. Желаем успехов хозяиывам ресторанта и побольше клиентов
