We had lunch at this restaurant. We were immediately struck by its cozy and clean atmosphere, the interior design was very pleasant, and there were lots of live plants. The service was excellent, with an attentive waiter. And most importantly, the food: huge portions, delicious, and the dishes were uniquely prepared, with an interesting presentation. It's in the city center. Highly recommended!

I rarely give 5 stars, but I didn't find anything I disliked about this restaurant. Everything is truly heartfelt. The decor, the food, the prices, and the staff are simply fantastic. The choice of music is a matter of taste, but that would be nitpicking. Thanks for the great visit. If I didn't live so far away, I would definitely stop by more often.

Great food with fresh ingredients and good service

We had a mango chicken wrap with fries. The food was delicious and the service was exceptionally friendly. There's also a great play area for toddlers.

The food was okay, but the service left much to be desired. Despite only two other tables being occupied, we had to wait a very long time for our food. At these prices, you'd expect much better service. The staff seemed inexperienced and didn't seem to know the difference between a restaurant and a snack bar.

The wrap and fries tasted good and were reasonably priced. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant.

A very pleasant ambiance and soothing music; the staff is friendly, smiling, polite, and eager to please. The homemade lemonade tasted truly sophisticated, and the small warm muffin was pleasantly fruity and smooth. Added to that, a proper espresso like at an Italian restaurant—everything was just what you could wish for...

We ordered two salads + falafel. We waited over 30 minutes. This was the biggest negative. The salads were good, but nothing was hot; the falafel was lukewarm, as was the chicken. However, both salads were delicious overall.

The food, drinks, and service were great. There's also a dedicated play area. 👍🏻 Unfortunately, I have to deduct stars due to the cleanliness (cutlery not clean, table by the play area with old chips on the floor, child seats so dirty that flies were flying around). I would be happy if this could be improved by next time.

Very tasty wraps, crispy fries and many vegetarian options

We enjoyed our Chicken BBQ Burger and Chicken Wrap. The bun was very tasty, the seasonings just right. The fries were fried to perfection.. it's in a quiet space off the main square.

The place is really nice and the service is friendly. Considering it's so close to the plaza, it's affordable, and the food is EXQUISITE, some of the best I've ever had.

I ordered from Lieferando. The chicken had too much oil, and the meat was cold in the middle. And the fries were overcooked, everything was dark and oversalted. All the chicken was too disgusting... Won't order again.

Great food... crispy, delicious. Service was pleasant and friendly. Those who enjoy beer with their meal will unfortunately have to resort to other beverages here.

Three nights in Trier! Three nights I ate here! The waiting staff wait in accordance with the ethos proscribed on the first page of the menu! There is such a welcome vibe that as a solo traveller I returned. The food was delicious and it was vegan friendly 😊

My husband and I had a fantastic meal here! We both ordered the falafel wrap, and it was absolutely delicious. It was generously filled with fresh salad, mint, and (what I guess was) crunchy pickled kohlrabi – a unique and incredibly successful combination for us. The service was also excellent; the staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely late lunch (early dinner) at Papa Lu in Trier. We were a group of four and ordered two veggie burgers, a halloumi wrap, and the Papa Lu baguette. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and nicely presented. The waiter was very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The interior is also beautifully decorated – cosy and stylish. A great place to enjoy a relaxed meal. Highly recommended!

Maybe it was the best chicken burger that i ate. My husband ordered falafel salat and mango ice tea, i got lila traum lemonade and burger. We both really enjoyed what we ate and drunk. Also the idea for play ground for children is so sweet. Thanks for delicious meal and good atmosphere. ps: i must say, you should fill the handsoap bottles in the toilets with soap.

Probably just in the wrong place at the wrong time! The service was very unfriendly and overwhelmed. We had to wait over an hour for our food. Guests who arrived after us received their food immediately. We would have preferred to just get up and leave. This definitely shouldn't have happened. The food was okay, but for the price, you expect appropriate service.

There's a smart selection of food here. We had kofte with hummus, wraps, and cordon bleu. The place was busy, so the wait was worth it. The food was very good, and the mango lassi was also delicious.

I don't understand how this restaurant can have so many positive reviews. I was there with my two children today for lunch. The service was poor. First, we were forgotten about, then we waited over an hour for our food. Guests who arrived after us had already had their food and left while we were still waiting. After what seemed like an eternity, the drinks and food arrived. But we didn't get cutlery or napkins. Although I asked politely, we never received any. I then took some from another table. My son's burger was ice-cold, and my wrap was completely soggy and mushy. The lettuce inside was practically cooked from sitting for so long, making it soggy and warm. The wrap around it was completely wet. It was also very poorly seasoned. I asked for salt and pepper, but I didn't get that either. I only got some when I went to the counter and picked it up. But unfortunately, that didn't help either... I never got the coleslaw I ordered, and my son's kids' menu was also missing a capri-sun, but apparently no one cared about that either. Although they repeatedly apologized for the mistakes, more mistakes were made afterward, and the service didn't improve. Since my food was truly inedible, I sent it back. They also took it back. I was still asked to pay for it, but without any compensation or information about the fact that I would have to pay, as the entire plate was removed. I find that absolutely outrageous. If someone takes away a plate after a complaint and brings it away, then they shouldn't have to pay for it or give me another meal. At the very least, they should inform me of the full payment BEFORE the plate is removed. After I paid the full amount, they repeatedly apologized and told me that the food wasn't otherwise so bad—which, of course, doesn't help me if my food was bad and I still had to pay for it in full. I asked again, incredulous, whether I really had to pay for the mushy dish, even though it had been thrown away. I was told the boss wasn't there and that I had to pay, because without the boss, nothing could be done... My 11-year-old son then had to go to the bathroom. But he came back empty-handed because the toilet was so dirty that he didn't want to use it. In the photo, you can see my soggy wrap filled with warm salad and mushy peppers.

The ambience is sweet, small and manageable. We were a little disappointed with the food. We wanted a taste explosion from different herbs and spices, but unfortunately everything tasted very bland. The lemonade was delicious. Price-performance was OK.

The atmosphere is super pleasant and cozy – perfect for winding down. The chicken is awesome! You can immediately tell that it's fresh, and the marinade is simply something special. Whether in a burger, wrap, sandwich or salad - everything I've tried so far has been really tasty. The coffee is also great. I like to just come over for a cup and work on my laptop in peace. All in all a shop that you'll be happy to come back to.

The food is really great, but this is the fourth time we've pre-ordered through Lieferando, and each time it's been an hour or more late. The food was cold twice, and each time I had to argue with a member of staff that it was REALLY cold. Sorry, but that's completely unacceptable.

What we liked best was the peace and quiet there. The music was pleasant and quiet in the background and we were able to chat in a relaxed manner. The ambience is beautiful and our vegan food was beautifully presented and we enjoyed it very much. The service was also friendly and the prices were ok. A great new discovery for us and we will come back.

I’m leaving this review not just as an ordinary customer but also from a professional perspective, as I’ve owned a restaurant and have experience opening a burger joint. So, what can I say? I ordered the Mango Chicken Burger and a Watermelon-flavored Lemonade. Let’s start with the burger. Inside were thinly sliced pieces of chicken. It seems like they use the same pre-prepared chicken for all their dishes—wraps, bowls, and burgers. Honestly, that’s a bit odd because a grilled chicken patty would have been a much better fit for a burger. But okay, let’s assume that’s their concept. What’s more concerning is the taste. There was absolutely no mango flavor in this burger. Instead, it was covered in a cheap, unidentifiable sauce that didn’t taste like mango at all. If anything, the only prominent ingredient was a large piece of bell pepper inside. If that’s the case, why not just call it a “Pepper Burger” instead of misleading customers with “Mango”? When you order something called “Mango Chicken,” you expect to actually taste mango, not just a generic sauce. Now, onto the lemonade. The “Watermelon” flavor was completely missing. It was clearly just a cheap syrup mixed with sparkling water. No real ingredients, nothing natural—apart from a sprig of decorative herbs. It wasn’t as disappointing as the mango-less burger, but still not great. When you order a watermelon lemonade, you expect at least a hint of actual watermelon, not just a sugary soda. After my meal, the owner, like with every other guest before me, asked if I liked everything. When I started my honest feedback with “If I’m being honest…” and continued with my thoughts, I quickly realized he wasn’t very interested in hearing it. I received no response or engagement. I wasn’t trying to be rude or offensive—just offering constructive feedback. But all I got in return was a couple of “okay”s, a smile, my bill, and a polite goodbye. That being said, the place itself is cute, clean, and well-maintained, and the service is good. There’s also a nicely designed kids’ play area, which younger children would probably enjoy. But I won’t be coming back—because at the end of the day, we go out to eat good food, not just admire a nice atmosphere and attractive menu names.
