The food was absolutely delicious, the wrap and the remaining breaded chicken strips were tender and juicy, just as it should be. Falafel were fried on point. I haven't eaten so well in a really long time. The ambience and service were also great. Definitely not the last time I ate here. respect

Went there on 28th of October, the service was great, and the presentation of the food was also really nice. Especially one of the workers there Helal, he was really good at his job and went out of his way to prepare a great meal for me and my friend. I'm really satisfied with his services. Food is in good proportions and also tastes good. Will go again for sure 😀.

One of the greatest burger place in. This town

We ate there a few days ago and it was simply wonderful. The restaurant was full and we only had to wait about 15 minutes for the food. The burger, the warps and the finger food were super fresh, hot and very, very tasty.

Wir waren mit der Familie dort. Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich (mehrsprachig deutsch/englisch/französisch zur Info). Wir hatten alle unterschiedliche Burger die wirklich sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet waren. Besonders die Ponmes waren richtig knackig und lecker. Es gibt für kleine Kinder im hinteren Bereich eine tolle Spielecke wo auch ein Esstisch für die Eltern steht. Ich kann einen Besuch wirklich empfehlen 👍

Excellent welcome, only one of us speaks German, and 11/10 for cleanliness on a busy Saturday. Plenty of choice for vegans/ vegetarians. Ample portions and Devine play area for small children

Very tasty food with an oriental touch. The burger buns are great and the lemonades are simply delicious - our favorite is the melon lemonade.

Placed a large order online and was very dissatisfied. One of the citizen rolls was completely shriveled at the bottom, this bun also overpowered everything else in the citizen. The previously mentioned citizen's salad also looked absolutely terrible. (see picture for bun bottom and the lettuce leaf). The mango wrap tasted soapy/alky. Total failure. The coleslaw was sweet for whatever reason. The chicken was okay, but not particularly good either. The bun was normal for the second citizen, but even then it rather put the citizen down. Overall, the second citizen (spicy chicken) was quite good. The quantity in relation to the price was very solid. The fries arrived cold and really didn't taste delicious, but cold, thick fries would have needed more seasoning. Maybe we were just unlucky with the order, but I wouldn't recommend 90% of what arrived here to anyone.

A friend and I visited the store by chance and were honestly thrilled. The burgers were great value for money, the homemade lemonade was very tasty and the service was very personable and friendly to us.

Papa Lu in Trier – A piece of Syria with a delicious flair We had the pleasure of visiting Papa Lu in Trier and it was simply fantastic! The service is courteous and the atmosphere is cozy – perfect for a relaxed meal. For dinner we had the Mexican Chicken and a Falafel Wrap. Both were freshly prepared, wonderfully seasoned and tasted excellent. We were particularly impressed by the falafel wrap - the falafel was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, just as it should be! The drinks rounded off the experience: We ordered a Wild Berry Lemonade and a Blackberry Passion Fruit Iced Tea. Both drinks were refreshing and had a perfect balance of sweetness and fruitiness. Papa Lu is definitely worth a visit – not only for the great food but also for the warm and authentic hospitality. We'll definitely be back!

The visit was a few weeks ago, but it still remains a very positive memory. As a group of 12 people who were spontaneously looking for something to eat, we were warmly welcomed and served at around 9:30 p.m. on a Saturday evening, even well beyond the actual opening time of 10 p.m. The staff was very friendly and the food was perfect. This is a really fun take on the term fast food. Really enjoyed the laid back vibe of the place in comparison to other “fast food” places. The mango ice tea was really good. I didnt really get much mango taste from the mango chicken wrap but it overall was still very tasty. You also get a generous portion, i was definitely very full after this.

Delicious dinner at Papa Lu! Hip place and friendly staff. There is a play area for the children, high chairs, children's menus and it is no problem if your little one bounces around the tent. The staff tries very hard, thinks along, dishes look delicious and tasty! Highly recommended for a tasty lunch, especially the schnitzel is amazing!

After spontaneously visiting this restaurant with my boyfriend, we decided to just go in and have something to eat... we had no idea it would be a good choice! The food was incredible and the drinks look and taste great! The restaurant is beautiful inside, well decorated, the service was also very good! We both ordered meat dishes, we were well served, with drinks it cost €47, a fair price for two people who were super happy! We will be back! Oh and what's very special: There is a play area where the children can play with a mini kitchen and stuff, just nice!!

Well, I rarely write reviews, but this is really worth it to me: We were warmly greeted at the entrance by the seller and kindly invited in. He was very friendly and humorous. We even surprisingly got a drink on the house, which just underlines how nice the owner is! The portions were really very good for this price, you could easily ask for more money for it. So value for money is also great, service is very good and unique, I haven't experienced such hospitality in a long time! I really recommend everyone who is in Trier to come here. Gladly again !

A small but remarkable burger shop positioned in the beautiful alleys of Trier's old town. Papa LU impresses with its extremely friendly service and the uniqueness of the food. It stands out from other burger restaurants because it primarily focuses on the power of nature (fresh organic products in the food). The experience is remarkable because the owner was a former leader of fast food franchise stores such as KFC or McDonald's or similar. He knows what the rhythm is there and how “inferior” the food and drinks, or even the employees, were treated. This is avoided at Papa LU and implemented in almost the exact opposite way. A visit here feels obligatory, otherwise you are truly missing out on an experience.

We discovered Papa Lu by chance on our first trip to Trier in January and were so satisfied with the food and service that we chose this restaurant again on our second visit to Trier. The portion is large, the interior is very stylishly decorated and we were served very quickly. healthy, tasty and freshly prepared.

If you're expecting super healthy food here, you're unfortunately in the wrong place. It's just a fast food restaurant, albeit a good one. We ordered the Hallomni Wrap twice and the children's menu burger with fries once. Fries were very tasty. Wrap was fresh but way too powerful and the portion was too big. The children's burger was also too big for our 5 year old. We adults were able to eat some of it too. The fried cheese balls, which contain no cucumber, were quite undercooked but tasty. So if you like to eat good quality fast food, you've come to the right place and the portions will fill you up. The play area for the kids in the back of the restaurant was nice and the friendly service is also worth mentioning.

Had lunch here today with four of us. We found the business by chance and that was ultimately a great experience. The menu is very varied with sufficient dishes, also for vegetarians. All meat dishes are prepared with chicken, which is super tender and wonderfully seasoned. The fries are also really delicious, crispy and with nice herbs on them. Everything is prepared fresh and with care and the price-quality ratio is more than good, to be honest, very surprising. The service is also very friendly and helpful. I recommend anyone who spends a day in Trier to eat there. Even for big eaters, the amount you get is enough, we couldn't eat it all.
