Die Pho war ausgezeichnet, und die Ente auch. Der Service war ebenfalls sehr gut... was soll ich sagen?

Das Essen war okay, aber ich wollte den Platz wechseln, weil so viele Bienen am Fenster waren! Die Bedienung war total genervt und hat mir nicht mal beim Abräumen geholfen. Das Restaurant wird übrigens nicht von Japanern, sondern von Chinesen geführt!

Das Ms. Lian gehört für mich definitiv zu den besten asiatischen Restaurants in Trier. Schon beim Betreten fällt die moderne, stilvolle Einrichtung auf, die eine angenehme Mischung aus Eleganz und Gemütlichkeit schafft – perfekt für ein entspanntes Dinner oder auch einen besonderen Anlass. Kulinarisch überzeugt das Restaurant auf ganzer Linie. Die Speisekarte bietet eine spannende Kombination aus Sushi, asiatischer Fusionsküche und klassischen Gerichten, die mit viel Kreativität und Liebe zum Detail zubereitet werden. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Frische und Qualität der Zutaten sowie die ansprechende Präsentation der Speisen – hier isst definitiv auch das Auge mit. Geschmacklich waren die Gerichte hervorragend abgestimmt: aromatisch, ausgewogen und mit einer gewissen Raffinesse, die man nicht überall findet. Egal ob Sushi, Currys oder Vorspeisen – alles wirkt durchdacht und hochwertig. Auch der Service ist positiv hervorzuheben: freundlich, aufmerksam und bemüht, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Man fühlt sich als Gast willkommen und gut betreut, was das Gesamterlebnis noch einmal deutlich aufwertet. Insgesamt bietet das Restaurant ein rundum gelungenes Konzept aus hochwertiger Küche, stilvollem Ambiente und gutem Service. Kein Wunder, dass es zu den bestbewerteten Restaurants der Stadt zählt und bei Gästen so beliebt ist. Fazit: Wer in Trier asiatische Küche auf gehobenem Niveau genießen möchte, sollte sich einen Besuch im Ms. Lian auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen. Auch beim Bestellen zum abholen überzeugt das Restaurant auf ganzer Linie mit sehr schneller Bereitstellung des Essens und einfacher sowie freundlicher Übergabe.

Das Essen hier ist fantastisch, super ausgewogen und sehr schön angerichtet. Die meisten Gerichte sind etwas scharf, aber nicht so scharf, dass man sie nicht essen könnte. Ich finde, es trägt sogar zum Geschmack bei, und das Essen hier ist einfach unglaublich.

Der Besuch bei Frau Lian war insgesamt ein sehr gutes Erlebnis. Ich habe die Vorspeisen (Frühlingsschwänze und Teigtaschen) und das Rindfleisch Deluxe mit Manjo-Shake sehr genossen. Das gesamte Essen war fantastisch. Außerdem verwenden sie viel Gemüse und Kräuter, was sehr gesund ist. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und auch andere Gerichte probieren.

Wir mussten darauf bestehen und an unsere Reservierung erinnern, bevor man uns endlich einen Tisch fand. Während des Essens wurde uns außerdem mitgeteilt, dass wir für fünf Personen bestellt hätten, obwohl wir zu acht waren. Das war uns sehr unangenehm. Die Kellnerin reagierte sehr unfreundlich, als ich mich darüber wunderte, dass mir eine 0,5-Liter-Flasche Coca-Cola Zero in einem Behälter serviert wurde, der wie ein Blumentopf aussah – ohne die Originalflasche. Wir waren gekommen, um einen Geburtstag zu feiern, aber das Restaurant hatte nicht einmal eine Kerze für den Nachtisch. Pünktlich um 22:00 Uhr wurde uns die Rechnung gebracht und wir wurden aufgefordert zu gehen, da das Restaurant schloss. Ich wurde außerdem darauf hingewiesen, dass ich über das Bezahlterminal Trinkgeld geben könnte, was ich angesichts des Service natürlich nicht tat. Wenn Sie kein Deutsch sprechen, sollten Sie dieses Restaurant meiden, da das Personal keinerlei Anstrengungen unternahm, Englisch zu sprechen. Empfang etwas reserviert, Service war ständig am Tisch um zu fragen ob wir schon gewählt hätten. Bestellung aufgegeben und nach 5 (!!!) Minuten kamen die Vorspeisen. Hauptgerichte ließen dann etwas auf sich warten. Essen war nur warm und wurde relativ schnell kalt. Jedoch sehr lecker. Getränke sehr sehr lecker (Obstschorle). Das Personal fand ich nett, aber nicht besonders freundlich. Hier merkt man etwas das es nur um die Einnahmen geht, nicht um den Gast an sich, war meine persönliche Einschätzung. Fürs Trinkgeld gabs kein Danke :/

Sehr schön angerichtet und das Sushi ist wirklich lecker!

Wir haben dieses Café an einem besonderen Tag mit unserer Familie besucht (Valentinstag und 17 Jahre Beziehung). Leider war der Service absolut inakzeptabel. Nach der Bestellung und den Getränken kam es zu einem Missverständnis, woraufhin die Kellnerin mich anschrie!!!, weil ich angeblich nicht sofort die Reihenfolge der Gerichte angegeben habe. Dieses extrem unhöfliche Verhalten hat uns sofort die festliche Stimmung verdorben. Auf meine Bitte nach dem Beschwerdebuch oder dem Manager wurde mir gesagt, dass beides nicht verfügbar sei. Wir haben das Café verlassen, ohne zu essen. So schlechten Service habe ich noch nie erlebt. Sehr enttäuschend — ich komme nie wieder und empfehle dieses Café nicht weiter.

Die Vorspeisenplatte für zwei Personen war sehr gut und auch das Sushi war optisch schön angerichtet und gut, hätte bei dem Preis aber etwas mehr sein können. Das übrige Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war in Ordnung. Der Service war freundlich. Es werden immer Reservierungsslots von zwei Stunden angeboten. Das Ambiente war angenehm, die Tische bei voller Auslastung jedoch ziemlich nah beeinander. Insgesamt war es ein angenehmes Erlebnis, wir würden wiederkommen.

Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend und auch fürs Auge optisch sehr schön präsentiert! Ein Lob an die Küche!!! 👍👍👍 Was mein Erlebnis leider sehr betrübt hat, war der Service. Wir hatten für 3 Personen um 18.00 Uhr reserviert. Nachdem ich platziert wurde, wurde nochmals nach der Reservierung gefragt und mir etwas unfreundlich mitgeteilt, wir "dürfen" bis 20.00 Uhr bleiben. Um 19.50 kam die Bedienung und fragte ob wir zusammen oder getrennt zahlen. Kein "war alles in Ordnung" oder "wir müssen jetzt leider abkassieren". Ich habe durchaus Verständnis, das Geld verdient werden muss um die Kosten zu decken und nur ein Zeitfenster zur Verfügung steht, aber das kann man durchaus auch mit Freundlichkeit erreichen. Ich denke wir haben auch genug konsumiert... Vielleicht bin ich etwas zu empfindlich, aber es ist ein Dienstleistungsunternehmen und ich würde mich gerne willkommen fühlen. Obwohl ich das Essen dort sehr mag, werde ich wohl nicht nochmals hin gehen. Schade!

So eine Frechheit! Ich musste über eine Dreiviertelstunde auf das Essen warten? Wie lange kann es dauern, Avocado in Reis zu legen und zu rollen? Offenbar länger als gedacht. Nie wieder wenn ich Hunger hab ☹️ Take away und uber eats werden offensichtlich bevorzugt bedient.

Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Service und Ambiente haben etwas darunter gelitten, dass es sehr laut und extrem voll war – am Wochenende muss man das einplanen. Entweder man geht zu Stoßzeiten essen oder man entscheidet sich bewusst für ruhigere Tage. Einziger Minuspunkt für mich: Hunde (4.5kg) sind generell nicht erlaubt, obwohl es kein Buffet gibt. Trotzdem ein Besuch, der sich kulinarisch lohnt.

Bester Sushiladen in Trier. Vorspeisen (z.B. Fischsuppe oder Lachstatar) sind sehr zu empfehlen. Das Sushi wird immer top zubereitet, schmeckt klasse und sieht super aus. Das Personal könnte etwas freundlicher sein. Im Lokal ist es oft voll und laut.

Als Sushi-Fan würde ich das Lokal absolut empfehlen. Frittierte Sushi 🍣 waren klasse! Der Koch ist ein Meister, der weißt was er tut! Nette Atmosphäre und saubere Toilette.

Abgesehen vom Sushi sind auch die Hauptgerichte sehr lecker und schön präsentiert (hier Thunfisch 23 und Ente 22). Der Service könnte freundlicher sein, die Preise sind voll in Ordnung

Also ich bin wirklich selten begeistert wenn ich essen gehe aber dieser Laden ist wirklich Top. Waren zweimal da und hatten einmal Ente in Japanischer Sosse und einmal Sushi und Geflügel mit Mangososse. Beide Male waren sowohl Darbietung als auch Geschmack hervorragend. Auch die Nachtischkarte mit Sesameis und Grüner Tee Eis ist sehr zu empfehlen. Einer der besten Läden in denen ich je war. Es war auch immer gut besucht. Zurecht.

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal bei Ms. Lian in Trier – und ich bin wirklich positiv überrascht. Das Essen war sau lecker, frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich absolut überzeugend. Auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, sodass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Ein rundum gelungener erster Besuch, den ich sehr gerne weiterempfehle.

sushi sashimi alles sehr lecker. Wir bestellten zu dritt 9 Portionen. Ich sagte sie mögen bitte ausreichend Ingwer servieren. Was kam war 1 Schälchen gut gefüllt. War schnell weg und ich fragte ob ich noch Ingwer haben könnte. Klar gegen Bezahlung von 2 Euro. Habe dann nochmal gefragt ob es ihr Ernst ist bei 9 Portionen so wenig Ingwer zu servieren. Sie meinten es genug. Ich meinte wenn ich einzeln bestellt hätte wäre es mehr. Naja uneinsichtig bei 222 € Gesamtrechnung und für so einen tolles Restaurant unwürdig...schade

We were there at lunchtime and enjoyed the lunchtime dishes. It was quick, the service was attentive and prompt. The dishes were fresh and delicious. Great value for money, I would go back anytime.

Making an online reservation in advance was absolutely seamless and highly recommended, as the restaurant is quite busy. Upon arrival, we were escorted directly to our table. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and offers a rather quiet, pleasant atmosphere. The food was excellent and truly impressive for the price. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the Asian beer, Tiger. The service was also extremely attentive and friendly. I will definitely be back!

Very friendly restaurant not far from the center of Trier and which offers very good Asian-European fusion cuisine. The dishes were prepared very quickly and everything was delicious. The sushi was okay, but nothing special. All ostentatious, but not much behind it. Service left a lot to be desired. We felt like we were ignored at the door for 10 minutes, and waited 15 minutes for the bill, but the girls had plenty of time to laugh and chat.

The food looks good, and the taste is a 5 out of 10. The service is rude, no matter what we ask about changing small things, they respond rudely, "No, it's not possible." A colleague thought the chicken could be breaded. We ordered the menu three times, but it didn't arrive breaded. When we refused the plate, she said we either take the menu as it is or nothing else. We repeatedly told her colleague that it would be okay, and she insisted that we either take it as it is or nothing else. The waitresses then started bickering with each other at our table until we said we didn't want anything else. Service and politeness should be one of the main points on a restaurant's list.

Absolutely top-notch! The value for money is unbeatable. The sushi is always fresh and of the highest quality—in my opinion, the best around! The service is very attentive and friendly, and you feel completely at home. A clear recommendation for all sushi lovers!

August 8, 2025 My husband and I are on vacation in Trier; in our search for good restaurants, we ended up at Ms. Lian. My husband had the surf and turf with beef, and I had No. 15 with chicken and turkey. This was a dish with fresh vegetables, a salad, and rice with sesame seeds in a coconut and lemongrass soup. I was surprised by this dish and really enjoyed it. The only thing I didn't like was the chicken and turkey. I didn't like the texture, and it was a bit salty. But everything else was great! The mango shake was also delicious! After two days, we ate again; my husband and I had the same dish, only I had salmon instead of chicken. And it was phenomenal! The salmon was perfectly cooked, just like everything else! It's a shame we're going back home (to the Netherlands), otherwise I would definitely eat there more often. Thank you for the delicious food, Ms. Lian! And who knows, maybe we'll see you soon! Tromp Family

If you're familiar with Asian cuisine and you're from Cologne... I can definitely recommend this restaurant. My wife looked at the reviews on Google, so we decided to go, and we're writing another one of these great reviews just for the sake of it, so people like us can find Ms. Lían.

We went to Ms Lian for lunch again today, and it was so delicious: we had the crispy shrimp summer rolls to start with and one each from the lunch menu. Both dishes were so delicious, and everything else was just perfect: friendly, attentive staff; everything was perfect.

Very loud, tables are almost next to each other, hot and bad air quality. Food tastes not as how it looks in the fancy pictures of the restaurant and I don’t know how many times we were annoyed by the flies flying around.

An excellent restaurant with outstanding cuisine. The staff is extremely courteous, attentive, and warm. A place I will happily visit again—and more than once.

The food was perfect, the place looks okay, but I have to say that the service is a bit disappointing. People use their cell phones during working hours, and the smell of smoke wafting from the kitchen staff to us is indescribable.

We had sushi for four people, which tasted really good. The atmosphere is quite inviting. It was busy, but not overly crowded. Unfortunately, the staff still seemed annoyed and stressed. It's a shame, but everyone can have a bad day. I would go again. Reservations are recommended. Card payments accepted.

Tonight's meal was, as always, excellent and highly recommended. Unfortunately, the friendliness of the staff has declined considerably over the past few years, and one gets the impression that they are only concerned with serving guests quickly. After exactly two hours, we were asked to leave, despite having eaten a large portion. If you want to have a leisurely meal and enjoy your food and drink, this restaurant is unfortunately no longer recommended. The food came to the table far too quickly today, and plates were cleared away while people were still eating. Today's experience was unfortunately very disappointing and not recommended.

I had dinner there with a few friends and we weren't taken seriously at all. The conditions have been blaspheming us all along. Also, the food tasted like dish soap.

We decided to try this sushi restaurant based on a friend’s recommendation and were really looking forward to it. To start on a positive note, the staff was very kind — our server was attentive throughout the meal, and they let us sit down even before our reservation time, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to our expectations. The sushi lacked flavor, and the tempura rolls were soggy. Without the mayo and soy-based sauces, there really wasn’t much taste. The prices felt too high for the quality, and the food took quite a while to arrive. We understand that every place can have an off night, and we truly appreciated the warm service. But in an area with so many solid sushi options, this one didn’t stand out. Hopefully, they can improve the overall food experience, but for now, I wouldn’t be quick to recommend it.

A great restaurant! Furnished with attention to detail. Fresh flowers on every table, a very nice and attentive service team with just the right feeling for the guest and of course a great menu with excellent food.

When I already ordered food and a drink here, I asked for a glass of tap water because I had to take some medication. I already had this in my hand, so it obviously wasn't a lie. I was denied this. I asked the waitress several times until at one point she told me "Boss doesn't allow that. You have to order water". Since it wasn't the waitress's fault, I didn't stress about it any further. But that is very unheard of. Taking medication should not cost any additional money. Since we had already ordered full, they wouldn't have made any loss through tap water, which runs out of their tap for free. Otherwise the food is mediocre and too expensive. The restaurant looks fabulous, but that's all.

Unfortunately, the waitress mixed up the tables when paying and therefore reacted rudely when splitting the bill and started speaking in her native language (probably insulting). That pretty much spoiled the entire visit at the end and made us stop eating there, despite the good food.

The food wasn't particularly tasty. I ordered a mango shake and it smelled like fish - it seemed like they cut the mango on the same board as the fish. The duck meat tasted terrible.

Food good, service bad. Had sushi + 2 menus. However, service can be improved very much. Friendliness and decency training would be recommended. The next table was asked to leave because the minutes were over, no discussion but an order and the employee left immediately so that no more questions could be asked. At the end the tip was very rudely pointed out. =))) I always tip, but not here anymore. There are other comparable restaurants in Trier with a better atmosphere and, above all, service. LG

Well my experience is very bad since since I started the service was terrible but I thought well the girl who served me will have a bad day but not the next thing is the food it took a long time small quantity for the price which is really not worth it the quality is very bad the sushi is tasteless nothing at all I ask for the bill I paid in cash and it was €77 and they kept the change without me saying anything so if you want to be robbed you will be left hungry if the food doesn't taste like anything this is the place it's never a shame I don't recommend it anymore

Delicious food!!! The coconut soup we had was an explosion of flavor. Definitely recommended! In addition, the sushi was also incredibly fresh and delicious. The portions are also great and their Thai basil drink was outstanding. Service also a 10! In short, we will definitely come back!

The service leaves a lot to be desired! I was left standing in front of a locked door for 10 minutes to issue a voucher, even though the entire staff was already on site. After I expressed my opinion about customer service, they didn't want to serve me any further and initially refused to issue me a voucher. Normally I thought restaurants were happy to do business. This restaurant doesn't seem to need it!

Ordered tuna grilled with vegetables. The fish was of very poor quality, riddled with tendons, so I couldn't chew it. After my complaint I was served a better piece of tuna. However, due to the previous incident, I couldn't enjoy it as I wanted. It's a shame, I'll avoid the restaurant for a while now.
