Bierakademie in Trier

I went there spontaneously yesterday. The portions were generous and good. The staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was both fun and cozy.

We were there about a year ago – it was wonderful and really made Trier a little sweeter for us! The drinks were delicious, the hosts were fantastic, and the guests were absolutely friendly. We even got to watch the Eintracht Frankfurt game there. Even though we lost, it was a lovely evening! Best wishes from Frankfurt – we'll be back!

The store is closed, but it's not listed anywhere online. We waddled here for half an hour for nothing.

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. At the entrance there is a large sign saying “There is room for everyone here” – the opposite was the case. The two of us came in, the place wasn't full, and yet the man behind the counter said without any friendliness: "We don't have room for you." Not even a glance at us, no attempt to be friendly or to accommodate us in any way. Such a rude reception is really a shame. Service starts with respect – unfortunately we missed that here.
