Had a great time with delicious Greek platter with perfect wine combination .. best service in town ..hospitality by achilleas ( owner) was cherry on the cake.. had the best dinner in tubingen

We were there with a group, and the staff immediately arranged tables for us so we could sit and chat. The food was delicious. Highly recommend the restaurant; I'd be happy to go back.

A lot of things need updating. The food, in my opinion, is nothing special. Gyros are rather dry. The beer is barely chilled. Overall, it's a good meal.

The bad Suflaky and gyros have been around for a long time. Tough, flimsy meat, probably neck bone leftovers for €19 with bland rice and no salad. The ambiance and restrooms: showing their age. No one asked if it tasted good. The best thing is the ouzo to wash it down. You can do better...

The food itself was tasty, however, the beer wasn't properly chilled and the ouzo was lukewarm and unevenly filled in each glass. The service was rather inattentive, and despite there being few guests, it took a long time for the waiters to come to our table.

We had reserved a table for four people for Saturday evening. Since it wasn't that busy that day, we had a free choice. We sat outside; it was quiet and relaxed. Parking is a bit of a gamble, as there aren't many available. The service was very polite and accommodating, requests were fulfilled without any problems, and the food arrived quickly and hot. Everything tasted excellent. The portions are just the right size to fill you up without bursting. Only one of four didn't finish their portion, but they had no problem wrapping it up and taking it with them. You can also order and pick up or have it delivered. My recommendation, however, is to go there and sit comfortably in the lovely atmosphere.

I ordered from there. It was a total rip-off. That's a word that's often thrown around when someone is dissatisfied with the service, but I mean rip-off literally. For a snack bar with snack bar prices, it might have been just about OK. But a fish platter for just under €23 had less contents than a standard doner kebab box for just under €6. Seriously, it's such a shame that you can't post pictures of the 5 grams of rubber that are supposed to justify the price, but they already know why. Plus, everything was extremely soggy and tasted like cold McDonald's fries that you've reheated in the microwave. I'm beside myself; there's really no way to sugarcoat it. Please do NOT order from there under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I can't understand the positive reviews, no matter how hard I try, and I'm not someone with high standards; I eat what isn't moldy.

I ordered food through Lieferando. The moussaka was very tasty and still hot. Unfortunately the lamb chop was very disappointing: the meat was tough, cold and tasteless. The fries also looked like they had been sitting for a while.

Das Hotel, bzw. die Zimmer sind schön gemacht; leider auch der Fussboden aus Marmor, daher sehr kalt wenn man Barfuß geht. Sonst alles in Ordnung, Frühstück gut. Das Abendessen war auch recht gut, alles in allem zwar kleine Zimmer, aber empfehlenswert. Parkplätze direkt am Hotel. Öffentlicher Verkehr micht weit entfernt.

Das Zimmer im Hotel war sauber. Als wir aber die Badezimmertür öffneten, erschlug uns eine Gestankwolke. Der beissende Geruch nach Jauche und Schwefel legte sich die Nacht über nicht. An Duschen war am Morgen trotz des Atmens durch den Mund nicht zu denken. Als wir beim Auschecken darauf hinwiesen, dass das Zimmer nicht zu vermieten sei, erklärte die Dame an der Rezeption nur, sie werde sich das Prüfen. Auch für einen „Ausbildungsbetrieb“ erschreckend im Verhalten.

Our group of 30+ stayed here for 4 nights during the Euros. Check in was quick and efficient, staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Rooms are comfortable and more than adequate for a short stay. There was a good selection of cereals, bread, cold & hot buffet available at breakfast so something for everyone. 20 min walk in the centre of Tubingen which is a beautiful small city.

My stay at the Meteora hotel was simply perfect! The rooms are modern, comfortable and very clean. The highlight, however, was the in-house Greek restaurant. The authentic dishes are a real treat - I particularly like the fresh fish and the delicious mezedes. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, both in the hotel and in the restaurant. The location is ideal for exploring the charming city of Tübingen. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The Meteora Restaurant in Tübingen is an absolute must for every lover of Greek cuisine. As soon as you enter the restaurant you feel like you are on holiday: the atmosphere is warm and inviting, the decoration is authentically Greek and the staff is friendly and attentive. The menu offers a wide selection of starters, main courses and desserts. All dishes are prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients and taste simply fantastic. As a starter I had the Saganaki, a gratinated sheep's cheese that was perfectly crispy and served with a delicious lemon juice. For the main course I ordered the moussaka, a casserole made from eggplant, minced meat and béchamel sauce. The moussaka was as tender and juicy as I have ever tasted before. For dessert I treated myself to baklava, a puff pastry dish with nuts and honey. The baklava was the perfect end to a thoroughly enjoyable evening. In addition to the excellent food, the Meteora Restaurant also impresses with its fast and uncomplicated service. The service was always friendly and accommodating and fulfilled all my wishes. We will come again!!!

The staff and bosses are very friendly and helpful, the food tastes very good and I can recommend it. The ambience is plain and simple, nothing special in my opinion but still very nice details and you have space to sit and walk. The prices are acceptable, you also get decent portions that fill you up.

Ristorante con cucina prevalentemente greca annesso all'omonimo hotel. Esperienza nel complesso discreta ma non memorabile. Senz'altro apprezzabile la cortesia dello staff e la possibilità di cenare senza spostarsi dall'hotel.

Sehr reichhaltiger Vorspeisenteller, äußerst ansprechend präsentiert, sehr frische, leckere Zutaten. Das Personal ist höflich und freundlich, der Chef selbst kümmert sich ebenfalls regelmäßig um die Gäste. Unbedingt empfehlenswert

Wir haben im Restaurant eine gemischte Vorspeisenplatte für 2 Personen gegessen. Die Platte war unglaublich reichhaltig mit allen Köstlichkeiten der Küche des Hauses; grgrillter umd frittierter Fisch, Gyros, vielerlei Gemüse, verschiedene Käsespezialitäten, diverse Brotaufstriche, Salat, Oliven..... optisch äußerst ansprechend angerichtet. Das Personal war sehr höflich und freundlich, der Chef kümmerte sich persönlich immer wieder um uns und erkundigte sich, ob er etwas tun kann. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

War schon lange Zeit nicht mehr hier. Haben am Montag Abend ein Tisch ohne Wartezeit bekommen. Nettes Ambiente jedoch sieht genau so aus wie vor 10 Jahren. Chef etwas rubbbig. Bedienung freundlichen. Essen wurde schnell gemacht wollte nur eine Kleinigkeit also nahm ich eine Gemüseplatte. Viel Salat hätte mir noch Brot oder schafskäse dazu gewünscht. Und was nicht gut war viel zuviel Balsamico. Frisch war es. Könnte man verbessern.

Für ein griechisches "Restaurant" lässt es sehr zu wünschen übrig, Ich war in kleineren Gyros-Buden, in denen der Gyros besser war. Für den Preis, auch wenn die Kosten zunehmend steigen, war die Porion dürftig. Teilweise sehr fettige Fleischteile, stark angekohlt usw. Tsatziki und Salat waren gut, keine Beanstandungen. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend.

Tolle Location und sehr freundlicher Service. Leider variiert die Qualität des Essens sehr stark. dieselben Speisen waren an unterschiedlichen Tagen mehr oder weniger lecker.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal da. Während beim 1. Mal im Winter alles okay war, hatten wir dieses Mal großes Pech. Der Service war nicht wirklich gut. Das Getränk kam okay....... wir wurden nicht nach einem zweiten gefragt. Wenn man die Bedienung oder den Chef rufen wollte ging nichts. Das Essen, eine Vorspeisenplatte wurde gebracht. Kein Brot dazu. Auf Nachfrage im noch leeren Restaurant wurde erklärt, die Küche sei im Stress. Das Brot war nicht frisch. .... Ich hätte auf aufgeschnitten vomVortsg getippt.... Zum Bezahlen musste man mehrfach bitten. Der Chef setzte sich lieber zu anderen Gästen. Nach mehrmaliger Aufforderung kam es dann mit den Worten... Ihr wolltet ja schon länger bezahlen. War nicht schön. Für mich definitiv nie wieder

Kann leider die guten Bewertungen hier nicht nachvollziehen. Die Fleischqualität bewegt sich auf unterem Niveau. Das souvlaki mit dicken und durchwachsenen Brocken, das Gyros mit komischen verbranntem Nebengeschmack. Auch der Beilagensalat war leider deutlich unterdurchschnittlich, mit für mich auch schlechten Kräutertopping. Leider insgesamt für die Qualität deutlich zu hoher Preis, das bekomme ich beim Imbiss in der Regel deutlich besser.

Sehr leckere, griechische Küche und das in mehr als ausreichenden Portionen. Auch das Ambiente hat was. Der Wintergarten ist um diese Jahreszeit sehr zu empfehlen.

Waren kürzlich hier. Essen war lecker. Manches war vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aus meiner Sicht jedoch nicht ganz passend. Zum Beispiel bei den warmen Vorspeisen (gebratenes Gemüse). Relativ kleine Portion und fast 10 Euro. Auch die Getränke (0,3 Liter) fand ich zu teuer. Gyros Pita hingegen für knapp 12 Euro war lecker. Hat sehr satt gemacht. Alles in allem eine gute Erfahrung. Auch der Service ist sehr freundlich.

Nett gemacht, freundlicher Service. Das Essen war allerdings bestenfalls durchschnittlich. Der Gyros war noch ganz gut, wenn auch nur lauwarm, die Fleischspiesse waren relativ trocken und nicht besonders zart. Durch die extrem guten Bewertungen waren unsere Erwartungen aber vielleicht auch zu hoch. Ich würde mir bei 4,8 Sternen ein butterzartes Fleisch wünschen, und vielleicht ein paar frische Kräuter oder ähnliches auf dem gerne etwas saftigerem heissen Gyros.

Freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, große Portionen und an der Qualität wird nicht gespart. Preis/Leistung top. Essen ist auch nicht so fettig, wie man es gerne Mal bei andern Griechen hat.

Zuerst möchte ich das tolle Ambiente hervorheben. Der Wintergarten ist super und auch der Außenbereich für den Sommer sieht eher schön aus. Das Essen war lecker und die Portionen groß genug. Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt auf jeden Fall. Super Grieche!

Seit mehr als 20 Jahren kommen wir immer wieder gerne ins Restaurant Meteora. Nette Atmosphäre, gute Qualität der Speisen und Getränke, freundliche Bedienung, schnelle Fertigstellung der Bestellungen. Und der obligatorische Ouzo darf natürlich auch nicht fehlen.
