Anyone who likes long waiting times, including sarcastic comments from the waiter (tall with a bald head) when you ask whether everything is OK with your order, is well served here - full package of unprofessionalism!

Highly recommended as a cafe at lunchtime, very attentive service and nice atmosphere, good coffee and fine specialties. The dinner was also very tasty, the portions were ok, but felt a little too expensive for what was on offer.

We have been to Ludwig's several times and have always been more than satisfied. The food is delicious, beautifully prepared and the ambience is great. The adjoining room in particular is very pleasant if you come with a larger group, as the tables are very generously spaced and there is plenty of space. We will definitely come back.

Although we had only reserved the table until 11 a.m., we were able to stay longer because we were seated at a vacant table for the subsequent reservations, thank you for that

Very friendly staff, but the food was rather poor, there isn't enough choice for breakfast. In our opinion the price is quite high for the little things. The restaurant is quite noisy which makes it rather unattractive for a quiet breakfast.

As a family, five of us ate at Ludwig's Restaurant in Tübingen at Christmas and it was a wonderful experience. Particularly noteworthy is the onion roast with homemade spaetzle and extra sauce – simply delicious! But also all other dishes, such as the veal schnitzel or the steinbeißer with potato and herb puree. The atmosphere was festive and beautifully decorated, the service was excellent and the price-performance ratio was right. We'd love to come back!

Very nice place, located close to the main station and old town. We ate breakfast here, avocado toast, and scrambled eggs with paprika, plus oat milk cappuccino and chai latte. Everything tasted really good and fresh. The service was really nice and quick, despite the fact that the place was very full. I fully recommend.

We went to Ludwigs for breakfast on the first Advent. Friendly and attentive staff. We also really liked the ambience, decorated to match the season. Our breakfast was delicious and filling. Unfortunately the scrambled eggs were a bit cold. But otherwise great. There is a point deduction for the toilet. The floor here was wet and dirty. This is probably due to the open hand dryer that blows the water towards the floor when drying. Here it would be worth considering whether a fabric towel roll or Dyson Wash&Dry directly above the sink makes more sense. In my opinion that would make the whole package complete ;)

A highlight in Tübingen - seasonal, creative dishes under real trees in a modern atmosphere. I go there regularly and enjoy every season there. The service is friendly and professional, the restaurant is always busy - so make a reservation!

We ordered the goose taxi from Ludwigs. The delivery was on time, the goose and side dishes were perfectly prepared and delicious. Absolute recommendation from us.

We've been here a few times for (excellent) breakfast and now also for dinner. Impeccably crafted cuisine with one or two unusual, well-implemented ideas, attentive service. The food is really highly recommended, only very, very few restaurants manage to offer such a diverse, international menu in such a stylish manner. The drawback is the high price, even for the very good standard on offer, as well as the relatively long waiting times, which are still reasonable on Friday evenings. Overall, full marks from us. If you like to be economical when eating out, you should study the menu beforehand and possibly skip it, or come for the relatively cheaper breakfast, which can be a real highlight of any week.

I am not a big fan. I find the food expensive, the service arrogant and usually the rooms are crowded.

Our visit was great. The food is delicious. The portion size is enough to keep you full for a long time. For children there is a special menu and attention in the form of colored pencils and paper with pictures. Great. Attentive attention to guests. There is also takeaway food available. Weather permitting, you can sit inside or outside.

Always nice at Ludwigs. Not the cheapest address, but the quality is consistently high, so you have to go through there ;-) The staff is very friendly, you are warmly welcomed at the entrance and the service at the table is attentive without being intrusive. Always a very good choice for breakfast.

Unfortunately, the noise from the café downstairs was a bit annoying, otherwise the comfort factor would have been much higher.

We had high expectations based on the reviews, but results were disappointing. Everything appeared to be delicious, but it all came out cold. Service was slow and the food just was not good due to being cold and overcooked. The best part of our meals were the garnishes. Cucumber and cream sauce.

I had reserved a table for two people and specifically stated not to sit at the entrance. My wish was fulfilled. We ordered the cake stand for 2 people, which was very lavishly stocked. The bread was super tasty, and it was definitely more than enough. Gladly again.

The two of us had breakfast at Ludwigs. The short-term online reservation worked well. We really enjoyed the coffee and the rich breakfast for two. The service was attentive and friendly. It was just a shame that we couldn't sit outside on the terrace due to the weather. Unfortunately, such a breakfast for two with coffee and tea and an extra egg costs almost €50. Despite the high hotel prices, it is cheaper to have breakfast in the hotel.

I recently dined at Ludwigs and had a mixed experience. The food was absolutely delicious and visually appealing. I tried two dishes: Korean Fried Chicken & Lomo Saltado. Both were delightful in terms of flavor and presentation. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. We experienced significant delays at every stage – from placing our order to receiving our food, and even when it came time to pay. Despite the long waits, the staff was courteous, but it was clear they were having an off day. In summary, while the food at Ludwigs is exceptional, the service needs improvement. I hope to see better coordination in the future as this place has great potential.
