Wir waren hier schon 3 mal.Alle Male war es sehr schön.Sehr gutes Essen.Ein großer Lob an den Koch.Wir kommen wieder.

Schönes Lokal, äußerst schmackhaft und sehr nette Bedienung. Waren rundum zufrieden!

War letztes Jahr dort Zwiebelrostbraten der beste den ich je gegessen habe. Freue mich schon auf dieses Jahr 😋

Ein schön gelegenes Restaurant in Blicknähe zum Hopfensee. Es gibt gutes Essen und einen aufmerksamen Service.

Essen top! Viele klassische, regionale Gerichte aus dem Allgäu. Sehr frisch und geschmacklich ein Genuss. Lage sehr idyllisch und ruhig an der Seepromenade. Die authentische Allgäuer Küche machts aus. Nur zum Empfehlen, 5 S*****

Wir waren an unserem letzten Urlaubsabend im Maucher´s zum Essen. Ein gemütliches Lokal, ohne Reservierung wird es sicher schwer einen Tisch zu ergattern. Zusätzlich zur Karte gibt es noch weitere Gerichte auf einer Tafel. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr, sehr gut und im Gegensatz zu unserer Region, wirklich preisgünstig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden bei einem nächsten Besuch in Hopfen ganz sicher wieder im Maucher´s essen gehen!

Sehr gute ehrliche bayerische Küche. Portionen sind sehr gut, man wird satt. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder .

Vor ca. 10 Jahren waren wir das erste Mal bei Maucher's und es war uns in sehr guter Erinnerung. Und die sollte auch nicht enttäuscht werden. Bei gemütlicher Atmosphäre gab es auch Gerichte von der aktuellen Tageskarte . Der Zwiebelrostbraten war perfekt. Die geschmorten Ochsenbäckchen zergingen auf der Zunge 👌 Der krönende Abschluss war der Kaiserschmarrn, den darf man sich nicht entgehen lassen und ist reichlich für Zwei. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und lässt sich auch mal gerne auf ein Schwätzchen ein. 10 Jahre eine tolle Qualität ist Top.

Einen wunderschönen Abend durften wir mit Freunden im Maucher‘s erleben. Tolle Atmosphäre, nette und liebenswerte Menschen, hervorragendes Essen und einen unvergesslichen Kaiserschmarrn. Und das gepaart mit einem sehr schönen Ausblick auf den See.

Mit Seeblick, die Bedienung super schnell und sehr freundlich. Das Essen, einmal Salat mit Forelle und einmal Schnitzel, war einwandfrei. Der Kaiserschmarrn wirklich gut und eine große Portion. Das Restaurant ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Waren hier recht spontan und sehr angetan von allem: Essen war erste Klasse. Tolle Tagesgerichte, Zwiebelrostbraten wie selten und auch für die Kinder gab es etwas. Service war sehr auf Zack, Ambiente passt auch als Familie gut. Jederzeit wieder.

Ein fantastisches Erlebnis in diesem Restaurant am See! Die Terrasse bietet einen wirklich traumhaften Ausblick, perfekt zum Entspannen und Genießen der Landschaft. Die Atmosphäre ist ruhig und sehr angenehm, besonders am Abend. Das Essen ist köstlich: typisch deutsche Gerichte 🇩🇪, hervorragend zubereitet und in großzügigen Portionen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das lokale Bier – ausgezeichnet und perfekt abgestimmt 🍺. Der Lillet-Kirsch-Cocktail ist sehr harmonisch. Freundlicher Service und eine idyllische Lage – wir waren schon mehrmals dort – eine Adresse, die ich wärmstens empfehlen kann!

Das Essen im Maucher's war wirklich klasse - die nicht zu umfangreiche Karte beinhaltet aber einen Rundumschlag der alpenländischen Küche, abgerundet durch die Tageskarte. Nettes und aufmerksames Servicepersonal, wirklich erstklassig schmeckendes Essen und ein gemütliches Ambiente machen den Aufenthalt wirklich sehr angenehm!

Tolles kleines Restaurant, das mit liebe Geführt wird, das Essen war lecker und reichlich. Preis Leistung passt hier auf jeden Fall.

Fangen wir mit dem positiven an. Dem Essen. Wir hatten zwei Schnitzel mit einem Beilagensalat. Das war absolut top und die Portionsgröße genau richtig. Das Ambiente ist der Umgebung angepasst und typisch Bayrisch. Also Top! Wir waren das erste Mal im Maucher‘s. Richtig Willkommen geheißen haben wir uns jedoch nicht. Kühle Bedienung, es wurde nicht mal gefragt, ob man noch etwas trinken möchte, geschweige denn, während des Essens, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Und vermutlich war dies die Chefin höchst persönlich. Schade, mit ein paar Kniffen hätte man ein 5 Sterne rundum Essen/Abend gewähren können, trotzdem/leider gibt es dafür „nur“ 4 Sterne!

Seit Jahren für mich das beste Essen am Hopfensee. Immer frische Zutaten, abwechslungsreiche Gerichte und auch gute regionale Küche. Ich komme immer gerne wieder.

Kalbsrahm goulash was sooo delicious, with spinach knödel

Das Essen ist teuer, aber sein Geld wert. Selbst im Oktober waren alle Tische belegt. Man sollte mehrere Tage vorher den Tisch reservieren. Leider steigt mit den vielen Gästen auch die Lautstärke.

The food was a real treat; the small menu guarantees the freshness and homemade preparation of the dishes. I have rarely experienced such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, genuine friendliness that felt completely natural. We will definitely be back!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Everything was absolutely incredible. We had two specials (one pork, one veal), plus a cheese spaetzle and schnitzel for the kids to split. The food is some of the best we’ve eaten anywhere! The kaisershmarrn dessert is also not to be missed! Absolutely delicious. Service was beyond excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Be sure to call ahead to reserve a table as it is busy most nights even during off peak season.

Excellent food and first-class service from the Mauchers family! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff incredibly friendly, and the food is of the highest quality. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates good food and genuine hospitality.

The food was fantastic from start to finish. Wait times were normal, and the price/performance ratio was good. Great view of Lake Hopfensee. The service was a bit cool, lacking the typical Bavarian warmth. But we'd happily return anyway; the food definitely makes up for the cool service!

Although everything inside was reserved, we were able to sit outside and enjoyed delicious food and excellent service.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent cuisine, friendly staff, and excellent value for money. Not to mention the magnificent view of Lake Hopfensee and the mountains beyond.

The most beautiful restaurant on Lake Hopfner. We had: -Roast Beef with Onions -Cheese Spätzle -Wiener Schnitzel -Venison Goulash And the daily special with beef fillet The food was 5/5 Would recommend the restaurant anytime and visit again

Wonderful location overlooking Lake Hopfensee. Very friendly and welcoming staff, some in traditional costume. There's a weekly menu, various beers, and the world's best Kaiserschmarrn with caramelized almond flakes and prunes – apple sauce is also available upon request. In addition to the six very large outdoor tables, there's also plenty of seating inside. You can also join a table outside that's not full. We ate there twice as a family.

We visited the restaurant several times in August this year and all the dishes were very tasty. The food is freshly cooked and the schnitzels are still breaded in-house, and there is no industrial pre-preparation of the dishes like in other restaurants on the Hopfensee.

The excellent Allgäu cuisine is particularly noteworthy, and the price-performance ratio is excellent! Unfortunately, it's unbearably hot in the upper part of the restaurant, despite the rather cooler outside temperatures. Furthermore, two of the three waiters were very unprofessional, just like last year. They bumped into chairs twice without asking if we were satisfied or if we liked anything. The service team absolutely needs training! After an hour of waiting for dessert, our glasses are long empty, and the curd dumplings are still not served, but they're on the bill!? No apology. Suddenly they arrive? No apology here either, just as they were when paying the bill. After years of loyalty, we won't be coming back to Mauchers; no food can taste as good as this to compensate for this service. It's a real shame!

Baked potato with herb quark and roast beef strips. I've never had such delicious herb quark, a sensational combination. The salad with smoked char was also truly delicious. We'd love to come back!

The food is average, we waited a very long time, 55 minutes, and they mixed up one dish, brought the wrong one and waited some more. Not a welcoming restaurant at all, especially for tourists. The second time there was no desire to come back at all.

This was our third time there. We had breaded schnitzel, and the food was delicious. The prices are reasonable, too.

A wonderful evening at Maucher's am Hopfensee! The schnitzel with fresh asparagus, potatoes, and hollandaise sauce was perfectly prepared and a true highlight. For dessert, we had a fluffy Kaiserschmarrn – simply delicious! The view of the lake at sunset, the friendly service, and the cozy atmosphere made the visit absolutely perfect. Highly recommended! A fantastic restaurant that embraces regionality and proves that regional food simply tastes delicious. We were lucky enough to arrive right at 5 pm and get a table without a reservation. The restaurant was completely full after 60 minutes, and that was on a regular weekday. It seems to be a favorite with the locals too. The food is very reasonably priced. The service is incredibly friendly, and you immediately feel at ease. A view of the lake is included. We'd go back anytime! Be sure to try the Kaiserschmarrn (fresh, homemade, and delicious)!

Based on previous reviews, I drove there from Fussen for dinner. We speak no German, only English. The waitress had some English, but minimal and went to find someone who could explain the specials. That was not necessary, but very much appreciated. The food was good, the beer was good, the atmosphere was excellent. In all a very worthwhile experience.

Das Angebot auf der Speisekarte ist erfrischend anders, nicht der gewöhnliche Mix aus Schnitzel und Wurstsalat. Die Speisen waren geschmacklich auch gut. Die Preise sind absolut im Rahmen. Parkplatzsituation ist, wie allgemein in Hopfen, schlecht. Sehr schöner Seeblick. Die Chefin war zunächst etwas genervt, wurde aber zusehend freundlicher.

We did not book and when we attended early in the night to make a booking for a little later we were told they only had a time at 8pm. That was fine. And well worth coming back for. The waitress was very friendly and patient as we cannot speak German. The food was amazing and the beer was the most delicious. I only wish I had room for dessert.

We come to Mauchers am Hopfensee every Easter and we really look forward to it every time! The service is always warm and attentive, you feel completely comfortable. The food is of outstanding quality – fresh, lovingly prepared and tastes great. The beer is also really tasty and goes perfectly with the food. The location right on Lake Hopfensee is fantastically beautiful and creates a special atmosphere. Tip: Be sure to reserve in advance – the restaurant is very popular and rightly so!

Good food, good wine, fair prices, service needs improvement. Salad with trout came without the accompanying toasted farmer's bread. Complained. Forget. The promised delivery didn't come either. Riesling from the Palatinate is good. I would have liked to drink the second one with the good bacon: it didn't happen. Excuses: none. Too bad.

During our short vacation in Füssen we were looking for a suitable restaurant with home-style cuisine and definitely found what we were looking for at "Maucher's". Starting with the cheese soup, through the baked potato with strips of roast beef (daily menu) to the caramelized Kaiserschmarrn (XXL portion) - it was consistently a culinary highlight to dine here. Absolute recommendation!

In our opinion, Maucher's has been the best restaurant in Hopfen for years. The fresh, regional cuisine is a delight. Ms. Maucher and her service staff ensure a pleasant stay for the guest with friendliness and care. In addition, the prices are calculated fairly. Reservation is recommended. I called in the evening and was able to reserve a table for two people, even though it was busy. The service was first class and the food (and beer) was delicious!

We like to eat out a lot and Maucher's will be remembered. Regional and seasonal cuisine of the best quality. When the bill came we were shocked for a moment, such good food at such a good price is rare. It's a shame we didn't discover this great restaurant earlier on our vacation.

Rustic, country-typical, very cozy restaurant with a view of Lake Hopfensee and the surrounding mountains and not far from the Neuschwanstein Festival Hall. Very friendly and attentive service. We ate there before our musical visit. Small menu and daily menu and everything refined and very freshly prepared. I can only recommend it, rarely eaten so well. We will come again!

Highly recommended. We were totally thrilled by both the fine food/dessert and the delicious wines and beers. One of the absolute best restaurants here with a very friendly hostess. If I am at Hopfensee or nearby, a visit is a “must” for me. So delicious! And requests are also taken into account. I wanted a small portion of Kaiserschmarren for dessert and this one without raisins. Wasn't a problem. Be sure to make a reservation because seating is limited and the restaurant is very popular.

Very nice cozy restaurant. I had reserved a table after reading that it was necessary in order to get a seat. The telephone reservation was uncomplicated and worked great. As a starter we had the cheese soup, which we really enjoyed. For the main course I had the Tyrolean Dreierlei, which was also really good. Finally, we treated ourselves to the caramelized Kaiserschmer. But then we were fed up ;-) Many thanks to my department head who told me that we absolutely had to eat there when we were on vacation in Füssen. The recommendation was really worth it and I can only pass it on.

Unfortunately our food was lukewarm. The meat was dry on the edges and the potatoes were cool. The cheese spaetzle with stewed onions...

I have the potato soup and the smoked trout salad. And as a fisherman and someone who eats fish a lot, that was the best smoked trout I have ever had. And the sunset across the lake should allow me to put seven stars instead of just five.
