Lucullus is always recommended. No matter whether we were eating privately or for business. Definitely our first choice! Greetings Mike Stiegen

Never again! For me the worst restaurant in Krefeld. You order rice and get a children's portion, then give it back and get rice soup. So the customer is completely ripped off and taken for a fool. In the end not even an apology and still being rude. This restaurant is absolutely underground!

The staff seems as if they are extremely overwhelmed, even though there is more than enough staff available. Our order was taken incorrectly several times. Some of the meat wasn't cooked properly. You have to call staff several times so you can order drinks. Last but not least, the prices are disproportionate to the performance. On the surface the restaurant looks okay, but if you look closer it becomes obvious that they tried to keep the restaurant "modern". Quite honest opinion: For less money you can get better food at KFC and be just as full

I am very disappointed in the Greek restaurant where we have always enjoyed going for 25 years. The food was delicious but the prices were extremely high! Of course you can justify this with the rising energy prices...that's fine too, but then the service has to be right. If you wait 20 minutes for your first drink and the table is full of empty glasses that you want to clear away yourself, that's not possible. If you want to order drinks you have to arrange for a waiter yourself. Very unfortunate. Especially since it is not the only Greek restaurant in Krefeld.

If you had asked me a few days ago about my favorite restaurant, I would have said Lukullus without hesitation. We've been eating there every now and then for decades. Boxing Day was always set. Also this year. 8 people 6 p.m. The first time we were asked for drinks was after 30 minutes. The main course came at 8:15 p.m. Clock. Drinks replenishment, only if you asked yourself. Waiters walk past you with empty trays. Do not take empties with you or ask for them. The plate used to be garnished. But now it was manageable and the quantity was also smaller. Only the taste is still great. 👍🏻 But the price is also higher. Really a shame!

Forgot your drink order. The Suzuki was still raw inside. When we pointed this out when paying, nothing happened. No drink on the house, no apology

You just know what you're getting with the Greeks. Lots of meat. We have been going here for over 20 years. The only thing that really bothers me is the lack of ambience. It's constantly being rebuilt. Inside it's now like a canteen or McDonalds. No music and no sensitivity for at least some Greek style. That's really a shame.

We ate there with 5 people on November 2nd, 2024. We were greeted warmly and then taken to a table, which was only designed for four. Only one chair was placed at the head, even though we had reserved for 5 people. The table was simply too small for 5 people and you didn't know where to put the drinks and salads. Well, we came to terms with it and got the menu pretty quickly and were able to order drinks after about 15 minutes. It took another 15 minutes for them to arrive, and a drink was missing. While we were waiting for the drinks, four of us other service employees were asked if we would like to order something to drink, everything twice or three times. When we all finally had something to drink, we were able to order food. After ordering, we were given a salad after 5 minutes, but unfortunately it was very bland. (Coleslaw, iceberg lettuce, 1 slice of cucumber and a pepperoni and shoo shoo, a little balsamic on top, ready and tasteless) Then our food came after about 20 minutes, which looked very nice and was also very tasty. ( Compliments to the kitchen for the main course. In between we needed new drinks, but there was no service anywhere, so it was just one drink for the entire 2 1/2 hours. After we were finished with the main course, we wanted to order dessert, but every service employee who walked past said yes, I'll be right there, but no one came at first and the plates weren't cleared away either. Then after about 25 minutes a service employee came with the menu and we were finally able to choose our dessert. Ordering somehow went quite quickly, but after another 30 minutes there was still no dessert and the drinks were all empty. When a service person came by and asked if everything was OK, my answer was of course: No and explained everything to her, and also took the dessert order back and then asked for the bill. After about 10 minutes this came. We then paid and left somewhat disappointed. My conclusion: The restaurant is very nice, the food is very good but the service is poor. The owner should urgently do something here and whether we will eat there again, I'll leave that open.

As always, there was nothing negative to say about the food or service ☺️. Sometimes there is a drag in the corners, but it settles down over time.

Great restaurant, delicious food, I recommend it

Nice, large restaurant with really tasty reasonable prices. We've been there many times, but unfortunately we found out today for the second time in a row that the waitresses are quick and attentive until the meal is served, but as soon as the food is served, there's no one around. People don't even look in our direction anymore! We sat in a smaller room on the left and people just kept walking past it. Even after a waiter came to two other tables (once to take a drink, once to ask for the bill), our wave was ignored. We paid after 50 minutes without the plates being cleared. Unfortunately, there wasn't even an opportunity to say anything about it on site because everyone seemed rushed. Too bad!!!

Food is not for everyone, especially grilled meat, for 30 euros per serving I would like to have a tasty meal, and not train my jaw like a boxer, chewing the sole of a shoe, I apologize, but there is no other way to call it, as for the service, it leaves much to be desired, the staff is not stress-resistant, the waiting time is long, my wife and I were very upset because we went with the whole family and paid a hefty bill, but no one could even enjoy staying in this place, I’m already silent about the food... no one could eat up!

The food is always delicious and we regularly go to Lukullus on individual occasions. Service is attentive and generally very quick. However, you can tell that the interior has had a few days under its belt and due to its size, the restaurant lacks a bit of coziness. But that doesn't really detract from the overall impression, because you go to a restaurant primarily because of the food

We were there for dinner today, October 5th, 2024, the first reception was well. Sat down, waited 10 minutes for the first time, no drink, nothing offered. After 10 minutes, another service came, then finally everything was ordered, including drinks and so on. Waiting again, a few moments later the drinks arrived. Plus point, food was served very quickly, that's about it. I had a Hermes platter, my partner a fish platter. I actually didn't taste any meat, just salt, endless salt. The fish platter, on the other hand, was very tasty. By then we had no more service. At every other table far away the service was there. We ate, I basically had to choke down the oversalted food. Okay, we're over that. And now we're waiting again for service, just nothing, not once did anyone come to us to ask if we wanted anything else, just nothing. 20 minutes later after eating we didn't feel like waiting anymore, so we paid for everything at the checkout and were done. There is no tip for this, nothing, that's a no go. And I've known the restaurant for 25 years and eat there often, but like it was today, never again. I actually never complain, you can understand everything, we're all just human, but stuff like that, no... unfriendly, oversalted food, no service.

It's been a long time since I've been there, it's been beautifully remodeled, but the background noise in the front area isn't bad 🙈 Service was super attentive and quick. Food was ok, I think it was because it was very crowded. But I can still recommend it with a clear conscience.

As always an experience, I was also lucky with the weather, price performance was ok and very nice staff, we will go again next time we visit Krefeld 😉

We have known Lucullus since ancient times. Even well before the renovation. Our grandparents have been regular guests there for 40 years. Aside from the incredible setting, this restaurant is a quiet place where you can eat delicious food. The friendly staff there makes the atmosphere even nicer.

We had a wonderful evening in the Lukullus restaurant and absolutely loved it! Together with my family and my mother we enjoyed the delicious Greek cuisine. The lamb dish we ordered was sensational - incredibly tender, juicy and cooked with perfectly balanced spices. The side dishes, including fresh salads and the delicious homemade tzatziki, were equally outstanding. You can feel the passion with which they cook here. A special thank you goes to the waitress Selen, who made our evening even more pleasant. With her friendly and warm manner, she was always available without being intrusive and gave us excellent recommendations. She made sure we felt comfortable at all times, and my mother was particularly impressed by her attentive service. The Lukullus Restaurant not only offers first-class food, but also service that is second to none. Thanks to the great atmosphere and the wonderful waitress Selen, our evening was an unforgettable experience. We'll definitely be back!

We used to love eating here. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and the service have deteriorated significantly. We were a group of 7 people, food came quickly. The first round of drinks also came quickly. After that it took a long time, the waiters all walked past our table and saw the empty glasses. Nobody even thought to ask if we would like to order anything else. Only when we called a waiter were we able to order new drinks. As far as we remember, there was once an ouzo as a welcome or at the end. Today there was none, at other tables there were probably🤔🤔

Nice facility but quite noisy. You can sit inside and outside in the large winter garden. The menu is quite mixed and has something for everyone. Unfortunately, the big drawback is that we waited over an hour for our food. Which wasn't actually anything complicated. Instead, certain waiters constantly wanted to offer drinks that we ordered. Which, to be honest, I found disturbing and annoying. A waitress was even a bit annoyed because she rolled her eyes when she said we didn't want any drinks because we still had enough and would rather have our food. After asking several times where our food was, it finally came over an hour. The taste was quite good. Since we ordered a casserole, we politely asked if we could get a spoon. The waitress then wanted to bring it. Instead of doing this, she simply went next door to the winter garden and served other guests there. What was cheeky was that she looked at us through the window and didn't come even after that. The third waiter was friendly enough to bring us the missing cutlery. When we wanted to pay, the waitress was kind enough to come to our table to collect. With the exception of one waiter, I would give zero stars for the service because his behavior was anything but friendly. The bottom line is that the two stars are because it tasted good. Even if not appropriate for the waiting time.

The menu only has 5 platters with different types of meat. Unfortunately no liver. Not my taste at all. Things were different years ago. We prefer to visit another restaurant in Krefeld.

One of the best restaurants in Germany and not only

After a long time I went to eat there again. The staff is friendly and quick with the drinks. I had a salad with my meal. It was very good. Unfortunately there wasn't enough of the delicious dressing on the salad. So I didn't eat some lettuce leaves without dressing. My meat skewer looked very appetizing. Unfortunately, the meat was a bit too dry and not seasoned enough. The fries were plentiful, but could have been made crispier for me. The background noise was far too loud for me. My conclusion: I will be going back to another Greek restaurant soon.

Very large Greek restaurant in Krefeld that has been around for a long time. The service is very good, the food is rather average for a Greek restaurant considering the prices are now quite high. As in many other restaurants and snack bars, they save on French fries here, which I personally cannot understand. Fries aren't necessarily a big cost factor. I had to order a portion for myself so that I was really full. According to the menu, fried potatoes were not offered as an alternative, although many people enjoy eating them! All in all, you can still eat quite well here, but things could be better in the details!

Compared to before and with other Greek restaurants, it's not as good in my opinion. Small menu, e.g. no more liver, few “combination dishes”. A positive thing to mention is the fantastic red sauce, which I have never seen anywhere else.

Wir waren zum Geburtstagsessen dort. Leider hatte der Abschluss vom Geburtstag keinen guten Abschluss gefunden. Das finde g schon mit dem Salat an und zog sich durch: Das Gyros war nicht gegrillt, und fettig und ölig. Der Grillteller war sehr sparsam belegt, dafür hat man das Salz über das nicht leckere Fleisch gemacht - das auf den Pommes fehlte. Nicht lecker! Auf den Toiletten klebte man am Boden, weitere Details möchte ich hier ersparen. Wir gehen sicher nicht mehr dorthin! Und wir werden Werbung fürchten lassen machen.

We ate at lukullus again after a long time, this time with the whole family. It was a great experience because everyone had a different dish, but everything came to the table at the same time and it was warm and super 😋 delicious, there were no long faces, there was an ouzo for the adults beforehand..... The food was plentiful and leftovers were kindly packed up for us...we will be back soon

I've known the place since I was a child. And it was always good there.

A feast of flavors, aromas and colors in a modern environment with nostalgic touches from Greece...

We were here for the first time today. And, in short, everything was perfect: the waiters were very attentive, an ouzo to start with (which is no longer a given these days), the food came after about 20 minutes and was a taste bud party! The gratin was still bubbling and in the Metaxa sauce it was a dream. I can only recommend 👍🏻. We'll be back (!) 🙂

Friendly staff, it tasted good. Price performance is right. Parking lot right in front of the restaurant, but too small for the many guests.

It was always our restaurant of choice. Very disappointed for the second time now. Some of the starters were very salty and others only tasted like water. Pork fillet was bloody with sauce and the purest oil. Decreased. Gyros very fatty. Gabel had to be requested later. All in all, we will go somewhere else in the future.

Unfortunately, the quality and quantity of the food has deteriorated, the service is haphazard, we had to order drinks several times even though the staff was gathered at the counter and chatting, so there is a lot of room for improvement. Hospitality looks different. The bill had to be corrected because a side dish from the neighboring table was booked onto ours. Hopefully things will get better again, the past has shown that

I've eaten there again for a long time and, what can I say... still do excellent food and excellent and courteous service. Highly recommended.

Food delicious. We were there with a group of 8 people. Almost everyone was satisfied. One person was missing the appetizer he wanted and ordered kidney beans instead of salad. He received white beans in red sauce. Otherwise everyone was happy, the food was delicious and arrived quickly. Very attentive to drinks. There is a draft right outside the window in the winter garden.

It's a shame, my former favorite restaurant now also has a problem with skilled workers. If the restaurant is very busy, as is always the case on weekends, then you sometimes wait an hour for the empty plates to be cleared away, despite three times the demand. Or that you are “allowed” to order a coffee. Otherwise, as always: great food, pleasant atmosphere.

Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut! Allerdings ging es von Salat bis zum Hauptgericht so schnell, das man es nicht schaffen konnte und der Salatteller war weg! Danach hätten wir gerne etwas mehr Service gehabt! Vielleicht lag es daran dass wir ziemlich hinten saßen! Geschmeckt hat aber alles vorzüglich!

Waren heute spontan dort etwas essen. War wie immer super lecker!! Die Vorspeisen Salate sind super frisch und das Dressing auch echt gut. Wir hatten zwei verschiedene Gerichte mit Schweine Medaillons. Das Fleisch wie auch die Soßen und Beilagen waren köstlich. Preis Leistung stimmt! Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Massenabfertigung, Service und Qualität der Speisen bleiben daher auf der Strecke. Gibt bessere Alternativen in Krefeld!
