The greeting is friendly, almost chummy due to the informal nature of the address. I wouldn't have expected the waitress's outfit and manners in an Italian restaurant, but rather in a harbor bar... We were the only guests at around 5:30 p.m. and remained so for the rest of our stay. The ambiance is simple, with a somewhat cafeteria-like feel due to the table layout, but everything made a clean impression – shiny cutlery, white napkins, flowers in a vase, everything was good. The menu (salads, pasta, pizza, meat, etc.) consists of a laminated sheet of paper, printed on both sides. I opt for a non-alcoholic pilsner and a vegetarian pizza. A shout from the counter across the room announces that non-alcoholic pilsner is no longer available, only wheat beer. Okay, wheat beer then. The beer (0.5 l for €5.80) is served promptly, and the pizza for €14.50 arrives after a reasonable wait. The pizza looks dark. That's due to the black olives, the almost exclusively black mushrooms, and the equally dark onion pieces. The taste is okay, but not my style. All in all, three stars. There's definitely room for improvement.

We ended up at "il Sorriso" by chance. It's the club restaurant for the Dornbreite interest group. You can sit comfortably under the covered terrace at the back, overlooking a huge lawn. The interior is rather simple and functional, but OK. The waiter, or rather the service man, wore a muscle shirt, extensively tattooed, and a cap, with his umbrella facing backwards. We were addressed informally. The food was truly delicious (4 out of 5 stars). What was extremely annoying, however, was that a radio or TV was switched on alongside the background music (also 4 stars), the chatter from which constantly drowned out the music (zero stars). We weren't asked if we enjoyed our meal or if we wanted anything else; no "please" or "thank you" (zero stars). All in all, based on the weighting, 2 stars. Comfortable doesn't come any better! Even though the food was delicious, the service plays a crucial role in a pleasant evening. We won't be coming back.

Everything is ok here. The store is at a nice temperature (others are a bit cold) and the service is friendly. Pizza perfect, upper level - there are worse ones elsewhere. Parking spaces right in front of the door.

If you want to enjoy the food, this is the right place. It was really good both in terms of taste and appearance. The restaurant isn't that nice from the outside and we didn't expect it to taste so good when we entered. After the first entrance door, the second one could be labeled to the restaurant, because at first we didn't know which door to open. It is definitely worth a visit and we will come back.

A nice, small restaurant, very friendly service and super delicious food that tastes 'homemade with love'. Special requests were accommodated at no extra charge, which is not a given elsewhere. It should also be praised that as a 'Schlemmerblock customer' you never have the feeling that you are being served second-rate.

Had delicious Spaghetti Rossini. 🤤🍝 Friendly service and a very charming room with lots of wine bottles (although we also had a closed group in a separate room from the other guests). However, only cash payment was possible on site as a warning for people who like to pay by card. I'd love to come back. 👍🏿

Wir waren im März 2023 erneut hoch zufrieden mit allem. Beste "Mama"-Küche: Pizzen, Pasta, Steak, Salate. Sehr humane Preise, umsichtiger und freundlicher Chef. Das Ambiente ist eher old-fashioned, und das mögen wir. So soll's sein! Unbedingte Empfehlung!

Nicht alles auf den neuesten Stand, aber das Familienbetrieb ist sehr bemüht.

Super, nur weiter so 👍🏻Es ist ein Familienunternehmen , sie Mama kocht sau lecker. Der Sohn ist im Service sehr zuvorkommender, witziger Typ außerordentlich freundlich 10 Punkte 5 Sterne. Der Laden bietet schönen Garten als aber ein Bowlingbahn und natürlich die wunderschönen Innenräume.Ich kann es jedem sehr herzlichst weiter empfehlen.Einfach top.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Kegelbahn ist einfach genial. Absolut Retro = Spaß pur!!! Ewig nicht mehr gemacht und es war einfach fantastisch. Perfekt um mit mehreren zu feiern. Essen aus dem Restaurant gibt es auch direkt an die Kegelbahnen. Die Gerichte wurde liebevoll zubereitet und die Gerichte waren lecker 👌🏻 Liebe geht raus an den Wirt der uns stets freundlich und vor allem freundschaftlich empfangen hat.

Auch wenn es für die Bedienung nicht immer leicht war, wurde während der Vorführung freundlich und zügig den Wünschen der Gäste entsprochen. Essen kann ich leider nicht beurteilen.

Besuchen dort die Kegelbahnen, zumindest dort sind die Tische immer recht klebrig und insgesamt etwas schmutzig. Aber das Essen ist immer sehr lecker! Das Personal wirkt bei größeren Feierlichkeiten schnell überfordert

Selbstgemachte italienische Spezialitäten

Das leger und unkonventionell geführte, italienische Restaurant mit Kegelbahn und Gruppenräumen glänzt besonders durch die Qualität der Speisen und Salate und bietet neben freundlicher Bedienung auch noch sehr günstige Preise... Hier wird auch ein ausgelassener Abend nicht allzu teuer... Dafür kann man öfter mal einkehren. Empfohlen!

Restaurant mit mehreren Räumen, das Essen (italienisch) sehr gut. Hier kocht die Mama. In diesem Familienbetrieb wird alles liebevoll zubereitet, der Gastwirt ist umwerfend charmant. Paris- Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Immer wieder gerne.
