Very cozy, and the food is amazing 👍😄

We had pasta, pizza and salad. Everything was very good. Recommended.

Delicious pizzas, Marco and Tonno, made with fresh ingredients. Cozy restaurant with a very friendly and attentive server. He asks several times if the food is tasty and takes care of it. The small salad is also quite tasty and the portion is relatively large. Thanks, I'll be back.

I'd even give it 10 stars. The staff is very friendly, and the owner-managed restaurant. The skill with which they serve pizza is something you won't find anywhere else in Lübeck. A feeling of Bella Italia... they serve it with oil and garlic... freshly prepared and homemade, of course. No restaurant on the Trave can compete... a place to be... with luck, you'll even meet famous people and stars on weekday evenings. I had a pizza 🍕 for starters and tortellini for my main course... and because the pizza was so good, I had another one for dessert... they even gave me a bowl of freshly pressed olive oil to take home... and an espresso on the house... the prices are definitely cheaper than on the tourist strip... it's worth it.

We went to Diavolo in Lübeck with our two children (6 and 9 years old) and had a really lovely evening there. The restaurant is super child-friendly and cozy – you immediately feel welcome. The pizza was great! I had a Gorgonzola, which was really flavorful, and the kids each had a children's portion of Margherita: just the right size and flavor. For dessert, we had ice cream with whipped cream and Smarties, a highlight for both of them. We felt completely at home and can highly recommend Diavolo, especially for families. We'd love to come back!

I ate at the restaurant with my 6-year-old daughter. She got a children's pizza and ate rub and stub. I myself got one of the dishes from the board; a lovely cannelloni with spinach and ricotta. Everything tasted great. Particularly appreciated was the service. The host couple were smiling and welcoming to both children and adults. We would love to come again!

We came to Diavolo by chance, but I have to say that it was a stroke of luck. Very tasty food! It was very well attended and in our opinion it is best to make a reservation. Highly recommended!

I actually wanted a lasagna, but unfortunately it was out. The alternative was a watery casserole. Service also took a very long time. All in all pretty disappointing.

Im Restaurant Diavolo in Lübeck waren wir nicht nur von dem in eigener Pizza Ofen Selb gemachte Pizzas mehr als überzeugt aber die Penne Alforno sowie den Salmonboca waren meher als hervorragend. Wir waren zu 4 dort und kommen immer gern wieder ! dazu haben wir ein Primitivo genossen sowie ein Selbstgemachte Tiramisu zum Dessert. Unser Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Seit ich letztes Jahr nach Lübeck gezogen bin, war die Suche nach authentischem italienischem Essen eine echte Mission – aber hier wurde ich fündig. Alle Gerichte haben mir bisher super geschmeckt, aber die Pizza sticht wirklich heraus. Sie schmeckt total traditionell und der Teig ist einfach perfekt: schön knusprig, fluffig und genau richtig zubereitet. Wirklich die beste Pizza, die ich kenne! Absolute Empfehlung!

An absolutely recommended restaurant! Not only was the food incredibly tasty, but the portions were more than generous. I was particularly impressed by the dessert, which not only tasted excellent but was also beautifully presented. The staff was extremely nice and always accommodating and responded to all of our requests. To top it all off, we even got a drink on the house – a great gesture! I'll definitely come back.

You really can't complain. The occupancy is pleasant, you don't have to wait forever for your food. The service is absolutely first class. Both the pizza and the tagliatelle with salmon taste excellent. Absolutely top! Gladly again if you visit the region again.

My husband, son, dog and I went to the Christmas market in Lübeck on the 1st of Advent and looked around a bit. We went to the restaurant at lunchtime and it was immediately warm and cozy. We ordered pizza and bruschetta. Even our cocker spaniel got a bowl of water! (It was a food bowl) The pizzas were very tasty and the base was crispy, the bruschetta had a good taste and the bread was also crispy and slightly soaked in the broth and therefore very tasty! The toilets are clean and bright. All in all, a nice restaurant that I can happily recommend!

Beautiful pond just had a pizza ton! We had a salad beforehand and my girlfriend had a pasta penne arrabiata. Great atmosphere and well decorated for Christmas! We also had 2 glasses of Nero d avola :)

We are currently in Lübeck at the “Diavolo” and agree that a visit here is worth it. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and responds to requests. The pizza that I shared with my wife tasted very good and the salad was more than delicious. We'll be happy to come back next time we visit Lübeck

Visiting friends is a reality here. We put our own food together. I "I'll make you happy..." was the reaction. It happened straight away. Simply enjoyment in a family atmosphere. Only recommended!!!! Thank you friends

We ate antipasti, fish, meat, pasta and pizza in this Italian restaurant. All dishes were very good. The mussels are particularly noteworthy. The service is friendly, the location opposite St. Mary's Church is great. We'll be happy to come back next time you visit Lübeck!

We were in the Diavolo with 9 people. The food (we had pizza and pasta) was without exception perfect. The tiramisu was the best tiramisu I have ever eaten. Thanks for the great service and the great food. An absolute recommendation

Our visit to the Diavolo restaurant in Lübeck was simply fantastic. The food was of the highest quality, perfectly prepared and with subtle flavors that made every bite a delight. We were particularly impressed by the selection of fresh ingredients and the tasty dishes. The wine selection was equally remarkable, with an excellent selection that matched the dishes perfectly. Every drop was an experience in itself. The service was impeccable. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly and professional, which only made the entire experience more enjoyable. All in all a 5 star experience that we would repeat at any time. Absolute recommendation!

Wir haben den Geburtstag meines Mannes im Diavolo verbracht und waren mit zehn Personen da. Es hat 1,5 Stunden gedauert, bis das Essen endlich da, obwohl nicht viel los war. Unsere Kinder hatten echt Hunger,und die Laune wurde im Laufe des Abends echt schlecht. Zur Theater Nacht, wofür wir Tickets hatten, konnten wir nicht mehr gehen, da es dann zu spät war. Das Essen war ok, aber nichts besonderes. Wir würden nicht noch mal kommen und empfehlen das Restaurant nicht weiter.

Good food and seats, decent beer. Went two and each had a pizza, would definitely recommend their special Diavolo Pizza. It’s a bit spicy if you’re REALLY sensitive to such, but if you are a fan of spicy(like me) it’ll be in about the perfect range honestly. The other pizza(Pizza Amora) wasn’t as great, but not bad by any means. Would go here again if I end up passing Lübeck another time :)

We stayed here on our weekend trip. The menu offered a nice selection. The service was friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the salami pizza with ham and the lasagna. Price performance fits. We will happily eat here again on our next visit to Lübeck.

I find the price of 49 euros for two beers, two pizzas and a small salad quite sporty. Given the size and quality of the ingredients, this can be justified. The dough was okay, but I've never seen such a small calzone before and the ingredients weren't anything special.

The visit to the Diavolo restaurant on the occasion of our company outing was once again the highlight of the day: super delicious food (we were looking forward to the homemade bread alone!), the service was as courteous as usual and the atmosphere was inviting!

Everything was wonderful. The food tasted amazing and the atmosphere is relaxing with lit candles. The employees are noteworthy for their great friendliness, they even gave me a lollipop, what a sweet gesture!
