Restaurant Hotel Buschhausen in Aachen

Only suitable for short overnight stays for business reasons. I wouldn't stay there for a vacation due to the outdated furnishings (furniture, flooring, sanitary facilities) and the thin walls (double-glazed, uninsulated wooden windows in the room). The hotel is located on the edge of the low-emission zone, and that's a good thing. The overall structural condition likely allows for a lot of energy loss. It's inexplicable why the city of Aachen hasn't noticed this yet.

We ate there and were disappointed. 1. There was no drinks menu. 2. My husband asked for a glass of Spanish red wine and was told they didn't have an open bottle. Later, we were given a bottled wine menu (very dated and broken) with the statement: "We don't carry Spanish wine." As a server, I have to know what wines are offered, and if a bottle isn't open, it has to be opened. The customer is king. The entire ambiance is very dated. The food was okay. You get the impression that it's a bit more show than substance.

Few people in the restaurant, but more at the bar... We didn't stay at the hotel, but were looking for a restaurant close to ours and came across this one. A nice surprise... The $38.50 menu was very good, and the staff was very pleasant and welcoming.

Also si eine unfreundliche und schlechte arbeit habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gesehen nicht das sie noch freche sprüche ablassen .. und meine Tochter von 12 Jahren verletzen ... ist dieser Laden überteuert und unfreundlich dass aller letzte ganz ehrlich

The staff never smiled and we’re not very friendly. The rooms were not clean and the bathroom not safe with no slip mat for shower. The food was disgusting 🤮 and most nights went hungry. One night came back to the hotel 21.00 hrs to be told bar was closed.

Man kann froh sein, wenn die Bestellung nicht vergessen wird. Bei Nachfrage bekommt man eine unverschämte Antwort.

Wir waren zum "Gänseessen" im Restaurant Buschhausen. Erst wurden wir nach unseren Getränkewünschen gefragt. Die Weinkarte haben wir nicht erfragt. Ich wollt gerne einen Grauburgunder. Mein Lebensgefährte nahm ein Wasser, weil wir mit dem Auto dort waren. Wir bestellten Gänsebrust mit Kartoffeln und Rotkohl. So eine trockene Gänsebrust haben wir noch nie erlebt. An Kartoffeln kann man ja fast nichts falsch machen. Rotkohl hat uns auch nicht wirklich geschmeckt. Ok, kann ja mal vorkommen, deswegen würde ich auch nicht einen Kommentar hier schreiben. Was ich unverschämt fand, war der Preis des Grauburgunders. Ein Glas 0,1 kostete 12,50!!! Als ich der Bedienung sagte, dass das extrem frech ist, bekam ich zur Antwort: Der Wein ist im Einkauf schon teuer. Ich denke, wenn jemand ein Glas Wein bestellt, rechnet man vielleicht mit 6 Euro für 0,2l. Aber nicht mit 12,50 Euro. Wir werden dieses Lokal nicht mehr betreten. Schade.
