Was here today with friends. Very clean. Very attentive service. Food was very good and plentiful. Price-performance is unbeatable. But you should have something more with you.

Unfortunately the price/performance ratio doesn't match. Unfortunately, truffle pasta and truffle burgers didn't taste like truffles at all. But the staff are all nice.

The ambience and food were good, except for the rather cheap-looking shrimp instead of two prawns at the surf and turf. Unfortunately, our side dishes, which we assumed were too many to tell us later that they were part of one of our menus, were also taken away, but they were not brought back. Unfortunately, my lillet only had 2 berries in it and I just expected more given the prices.

It's simply an incredibly great restaurant: incredibly delicious dishes, very friendly staff, and a very pleasant atmosphere. I was there with a group of more than 10 people, and they even offered to rearrange the tables – something you can't say no to. The restaurant has a parking lot with plenty of spaces and also offers bicycle parking, so there's something for everyone. The menu is incredibly diverse. Drinks range from standard beverages like Coke to iced tea, homemade lemonade, and a wide selection of alcoholic beverages like beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails. The selection of dishes is equally diverse. A large selection of burgers, sauces, side dishes, and even steaks, which are even cheaper than usual on the lunch menu. This is by no means to say that the prices for the dishes are expensive: we paid just under €20 per person for the lunch menu, so the value for money is also in the 5-star range. The restaurant is spread over two floors. We had our seats on the ground floor, which even offered a view of the kitchen. The restrooms are upstairs, meaning you have to walk a bit from the ground floor. :) The restrooms were incredibly clean, as was the restaurant itself. The staff is very friendly and happy to have a quick chat at your table. All in all, a restaurant that more than deserves a 5-star rating. Highly recommended. :)

This was my second time at The Ash while visiting Aachen and I had a much better experience this time than the first. The service was great both times and the atmosphere, although lively, is comfortable. This time, though, I got the steak and sweet potato fries and it was such a yummy meal. I also got a couple glasses of wine and shared dessert with my colleagues. It was yummy and I’ll definitely be returning.

We were here for the first time today. Everything was great, from the reception to the end everything was perfect. the service was also very good. You were asked often, but not too often, if everything was OK. The burger was really great 👍 Would love to come back.

Extremely friendly service. I really enjoyed the starter, and the main course (sirloin steak) was excellent. It's quite noisy, so communication at the table is difficult.

In the private room, I found the atmosphere nice and the food was good. Medium was also medium. I can recommend the surface and turf. The tower burger too.

Cleanliness, friendliness, attentiveness, fast service, no long waiting times - you feel comfortable here! Everyone in service is great! This evening we had Domenico serving at the table. He knows how to deal with guests, serves very friendly and with respect. We also received very friendly service at reception and the guests are respected here. The food was very good and tasty, the cocktails are also recommended and the espresso is like in Italy. If you want to know what quality and service is, then visit ASH!

The burger was juicy, spicy and perfectly balanced - a real taste experience! The pastrami was tender, the bun was fluffy, and the sauce rounded everything out. I have to particularly emphasize Alex's great service - friendly, attentive and quick. Top experience, gladly again!

I was with 6 people in this extremely attractive restaurant. Great ambience, food was great, delivered quickly. The service staff are very accommodating, all of them. Mayo was 10/10 would do it again.

So the food was good. Neither more nor less. The service itself was top. But. In my opinion, the organization there is anything but great. Table reserved in advance. Being told that you have 1.5 hours. OK in itself. But if I have to allow at least 50 minutes for drinks, starters and main courses alone, then something is wrong. Well, it was also unfortunate that the operation's tablets kept having no connection in between. Sorry. Somehow I thought it was a shame. 😔

Today was the second time in Ash, after half an hour the drinks arrived and we were told in advance that we had to leave the restaurant after 2 hours. Oops, great greeting at reception. Rarely have you been served so poorly........ If you want good food and great service, go somewhere else!!

A restaurant with a lot of potential, but a lot still needs to change! The location and seating areas are great, nothing to complain about. The toilet upstairs is very inconvenient and there is no opportunity to take care of a baby. The service is a bit clumsy/clumsy (almost had my mac & cheese hanging over me) and especially very ill-mannered, after we didn't give an extra tip on top of the bill (in my opinion you deserve that if you provide good service and not this). Actually, we should have paid the prices of the lunch menu, which is considerably cheaper than the dinner menu, but because we had to wait more than an hour (!) for four hamburgers, it was now after 5 p.m. (when the "lunch time" ends). This is really scandalous and it just seems like a set up game, so that you have to pay the full price. Fortunately the food made up for a lot; the burgers really had a lot of flavor and the portions were very generous! The mac & cheese was also a good alternative as a side dish.

Super nice staff, great food. We had a dog. They were very animal friendly. Of course, a little more than a McDonald's branch with three people paid a little over 100 euros, but it was 100% worth the money. Further recommended. We'd love to come back too.

Tap water is available here for around €7 / 0.75l During our visit we ordered a 0.75l bottle of water with our meal. Since I didn't know the brand Purezza, I googled it. I then had to realize that Purezza is bottled tap water, which according to the restaurant manager is filtered. Not only do I feel ripped off... but also ripped off, tap water for €10/l. I also wrote to The Ash about this, unfortunately didn't get an answer. No answer is also an answer.

I can highly recommend this location for lovers of steaks etc. It wasn't the last time we were there. Not only the food, but also the service was top. That evening the number of visitors was very high and there was a lot of noise. Surprisingly, we were able to converse very well at a normal volume. The ambience is ok, but here and there the chairs, or rather the seats, need replacing.

02/23/2025 I became aware of the ASH when I stayed overnight right next door. The gentleman at reception sympathetically showed me a table in the less noisy part. The seating turned out to be very/too low - a cushion was immediately organized. Menu and wine arrived promptly. Afterwards the waitress took her time taking my order, which I thought was a shame! I was pleasantly surprised by the flank steak salad, with arugula and a very tasty vinaigrette. I would definitely want to eat here again.

Steak ordered medium was rare, the 400 gram rum steak was tiny, especially after a third of the fat had been cut away. Between 40 and 50 € without any side dish that comes with an add-on is pretty cheeky. In this respect, it's really bad value for money. You also have to drive far away to a remote industrial area, so the location isn't even attractive. The atmosphere is quite nice.

The ash asked if I could explain why I gave three stars.... Steaks were small and expensive. They didn't taste spectacular. We had to pay extra for every sauce and garnish. Sauces were also nothing special. I actually wanted to give 2 stars, but you are so beautifully multicultural. That's why I gave 3 stars.

Certainly one of the places in Aachen worth to visit for the excellent meat. All is perfect!

In November we had brunch on Sunday with 8 people. Reservation went smoothly and we were automatically reminded of our reservation. Our 2 quite large dogs were absolutely no problem, as well as water they were petted. The buffet was generous and attractively presented. There was something for every taste, the plates were always refilled, and coffee was available at all times. The service at the table was very good, empty dishes were removed immediately and drinks were delivered quickly. So far I only knew the evening steaks, the brunch is in no way inferior to them. Everyone enjoyed it very much and will definitely do it again. Thank you dear Nikk for the nice day, see you soon

Had food poisoning after visiting the ASH. I ate a chicken burger and fries, I think it was the chicken. I would prefer to give minus stars because a relative felt the same way about the meat from the ASH two weeks ago.

Service and atmosphere is nice but the burger was the worst I have ever had in my life. Went with 4 people and three of us ordered the ash tower consisting of multiple patties. Every patty was cooked differently. So my order consisted of 3 burgers all cooked differently. Due to the lights we couldn’t see it immediately and since it was already late we didn’t ask for new burgers but got one soft drink for free instead when we showed them how bad they cooked the burgers.

Very very tasty. If you want to treat yourself to something good, you've come to the right place. Nice ambience, nice service and great food.

The beginning was actually okay. Went there at 6 p.m. and got the drinks and appetizer quickly. The main course took a little longer, for a fillet for 43 euros it could have been more tender. Vegetables were almost cold. You would have to forcefully ask for drinks. I asked three times for the dessert menu and had to wait another 45 minutes until we got the dessert. Preliminary report was good, main course mediocre and dessert bad. The waiters are not attentive and ignore you. Consequence: no tip and won't come back!!!

Delicious steak, great service and nice atmosphere!

I really love chicken wings, salad, steak, almost everything there. The environment is also good. And very easy to find a parking lot. But sometimes, it takes longer time, which could be improved a bit. But not a big issue.

We ordered a tomahawk steak for 87 euros, and asked for medium. It turned out that two of the pieces of meat were completely dry. Although the meat in the middle was cooked correctly, it was completely unbiteable, which was very bad.

The quality of the meat is simply too bad for a steakhouse. I've been there several times and the quality is always close to ok. I know Italian restaurants that make better rump steaks. I can recommend the desserts and the bread.

The food was quite good and the portions were quite sufficient. The obviously new lady in service was very nice, but unfortunately not much worked together during our visit. The starters were still half there and the main courses were already arriving. Our waitress was surprised herself, but overwhelmed by the situation. Since we had a time slot of 2 hours, we went to the bar after dinner. Our waitress came there with a colleague because she had swapped receipts when cashing out and we had a different receipt. On the supposedly correct receipt, the drinks were also wrong, which then had to be clarified at the checkout... all very annoying for a well-planned, not entirely cheap evening... and with a "sorry" It's not always done either.

The first time a long time ago, because of an invitation in the restaurant. The restaurant immediately reminded me of a train station hall with a much better atmosphere. The noise level was very strong. A relaxed conversation wasn't really possible. Rump steak with baked potatoes and garlic butter were good but not of the quality that made me order it again. I don't really understand why garlic butter, the size of a heaped teaspoon, costs €3. Okay, there has to be a profit. Yesterday we were there again, also because of an invitation. Based on my experience, see above, I didn't want to but couldn't cancel. BBQ burger with steakhouse fries with mayo. The mayo pot was well filled. A ray of hope. The fries were lukewarm and flabby. I know it differently. Maybe that's standard at Ash, but the other fries portions at the table were the same. The bacon for the BBQ burger was completely tasteless. How do you do that? I can't manage this in my kitchen. But I'm not a cook either. The patty was OK juicy, the minced meat taste was subtle and almost non-existent. Was it seasoned at all. Speaking of existing, cheese isn't part of the BBQ burger? If not, that was OK, if so, why was he missing? With a BBQ burger I also expect an appropriate sauce on the burger. In fact, I was able to find some sauce on a small spot. Overall it was a confirmation of my first visit. Service quality was what you can ask for as a minimum from the service. The vaunted ventilation system gave us clothes that smelled like we had been to a snack bar. I think yesterday was my last visit to this restaurant. Conversation at the table is only possible if you can drown out the noise level. A nice, relaxed evening with dinner looks different. Ash thanks for the two impressions, which are almost 1.5 apart.

The food came almost too quickly, so you got the impression that you wanted to get rid of the guest quickly. But the food itself and the service were good.

The ambience is really very nice, but unfortunately that was it. Unfortunately, my steak was only below average - the level of cooking I ordered was not the right one (that can happen - but annoying at a price of just under €50). The baked potato I ordered was the smallest baked potato that I was allowed to eat to date. For the price I would have expected much more. Service also below average. The order was taken, no questions were asked at the table about whether everything was okay, no questions asked about whether you would like something more to drink. A rather disappointing experience unfortunately.

We ate there today with my son, unfortunately my son has a few food allergies, the waiter tried so hard to find something suitable, you rarely experience something like that! 5 stars are actually not enough for this! Simply above average service! Thank you for that!

The meat was tough. The salad was a bit old, the fries were okay and the coffee latte was lukewarm. The only positive thing was the chairs.

Worthless food, I ask for 250 grams, get 250 grams and charge 350 grams. When ordering they ask my group what they wanted to eat, what would you like to order, he says 200 grams up to 4 times. And he also charges 250 grams on the bill. Then we get the food, it's a big fat pile of worthless, then we say something about it, they also start a discussion, that has to be the case. So they really had the wrong guests tonight, what a worthless, overpriced, really bad place. They are heavily focused on making money and customer experience has completely disappeared.

Update 02/01/2025 Disaster!!! How can the quality of food and service deteriorate so quickly. I was here for the first time on December 25th and was totally satisfied. I have decided to come back for my birthday. But totally embarrassing. Everything was very, very bad. Fries were not crispy at all, but very soft and oily. Steak was cold, again. But Pink Dragon tastes quite good. I immediately complained to the waiter about it. Nevertheless, I received no explanation or apology at all. Bad customer service. Never again. 25/12/2024 Very nice atmosphere and super friendly service. There are also vegetarian choices for vegetarians. Food and drinks were very tasty, but Chef's Selection Steak wasn't warm yesterday. Too bad. That's why I can only give 4 stars. Highly recommend.

We ate delicious cannelloni and the three gentlemen who were there had a top burger and spare ribs.

With a lot of time and a lot of money you can't get more to eat.

The food and everything was perfect, i just expected to have brunch but unfortunately it seems it’s not for weekend.

We decided on the holiday brunch and were unfortunately a little disappointed, because we would have expected more for the rather steep price of almost €30 per person. Here is a short summary: ➕️Bread selection ➕️3 different jams ➕️small selection of muesli/flakes and quark dishes ➕️Fruit salad/platter ➕️good selection of cakes = tangerine cheese slices, apple crumble, pancakes, waffles... ➕️various egg dishes ➕️Selection of warm dishes = potato and vegetable pan, sausages, bacon, wings, ribs, roast beef ➖️Cheese plate (consisted of exactly 1 type = Cheddar, which doesn't necessarily suit everyone's taste) ➖️no spread (not even cream cheese or similar) ➖️Mini donuts (2× sprinkles, but no chocolate!) ➖️Cold cuts (hardly any choice, just salami and another sausage) ➖️only filter coffee included CONCLUSION: All in all, unfortunately not recommended, because compared to other brunch offers, this one wasn't convincing with little selection and hardly any variation. This is much better. The only consolation was that children under 6 don't pay and up to 12 only pay half (even with cocoa or orange juice included); Otherwise, children will probably be disappointed, which is a shame. On the positive side, however, the service was always present and, upon request, sausages were even added shortly before the end. 》But unfortunately that doesn't save the otherwise too expensive price-performance ratio!
