Getränke Bestellung ging sehr schnell. Unsere Essen Bestellung wollte keiner, der 6 an uns vorbei gegangen entgegen nehmen. Angeblich kam der Kollege. Ein Stammgast wurde von Allen überschwänglich und lange begrüßt.

We've been to the Ash in Aachen three times now and unfortunately it got worse each time. I ordered 2 burgers that tasted good, but the last one had part of the patty still raw. The fries as a side dish were very dry and hard. On the third attempt, we ordered the corn-fed chicken with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The best part was the sauce and the coleslaw. The chicken was grilled so much that it tasted burnt and the mashed potatoes were not freshly prepared, had a sticky consistency and tasted like a ready-made bag. The portions are also quite small, at least for the chicken. But the burgers fill you up well. The service was very good the first two times (young man dressed in black), unfortunately the last time it was someone who was quite inattentive and didn't even ask if everything was okay. All in all, it's a shame, but for the prices you'd expect something different.

Just a chain... Overall it's okay, it lacks that special individuality (of course due to the principle).

Today we ate at the Ash in Aachen. I ordered my meat medium rare, but unfortunately it was pretty well done. When we paid I saw that I was charged for a Lillet WildBerry even though I only ordered a Schweppes WildBerry. When I asked, I was told that even without Lillet it would be the same price even though the menu said half price. I found it quite outrageous! After months, they still haven't contacted me. You can save yourself your answer!

The pasta dish with salted lemon, dill and cream hasn't tasted anything yet. It was just bland and boring and just tasted like pasta with cream. You had to look for the dill; there was a leaf on top for decoration. The salt lemon was barely there. I asked for another meal, but was refused: "I can't bring any other food just because I don't like it." It wasn't a personal feeling, but the fact that the components were missing from the meal. My counterpart was also very disappointed. The service person was very “funny”, she asked me to bring me another sauce, for example a hot one… I asked her what should I do with it? Then dump it on my pasta? After this experience with the service we will not be coming back. Edit: apparently the “manager” of this property is not interested in solving problems, as can be read in other reviews

Very tasty, just could have been a little hotter

Nice restaurant in Aachen if you are looking for classic steaks or burgers. You often hear mixed opinions about the quality of the food but on my visits everything has always been exactly as expected. The service was always very good and problems were always addressed. Only the price/performance is sometimes a bit poor. We found drinks in particular to be very expensive here.

Were there for the fourth time today and I have to say it has deteriorated extremely over the last year. First of all, our reservation was forgotten/lost. Then we had to wait longer than usual for the drinks. We also had to wait longer for the food, which would be ok if everything was wonderful... but it wasn't. I had another 350 gram beef fillet, again “well done”. Unfortunately, not only did the chef not manage to prepare the steak "well done" again, for the fourth time, but this time the re-fried meat was actually really dry on the outside. Service was also more like “quick, quick”. Too bad. No longer worth recommending.

Had a spontaneous meal there last night. Although the store was busy, our orders came quickly and the staff was always friendly. You didn't have the feeling of stress etc. The only point deducted are the patties on the burgers. These are frozen patties. That's a bit disappointing. Especially at a price of just under €20 per burger without a side dish. Otherwise the quality of the food and drinks was A1.

From the reservation by phone to the end of our business meeting, everything was flawless. Friendly staff, good food, great ambience.

This place is lovely for brunch if in Aachen and need somewhere to go. You have a mix of American and European foods. Lovely atmosphere and decor too.

Stopped here for dinner after shopping. Enjoy various starters on the terrace. The service is friendly and fast. Also no need to wait.

My experience was positive as usual. I realy liked your summer salad. Masterpiece. Two recommendations to improve: -There is a door goes to garden from main saloon, and there is a chair just infront of it. It s not nice to sit there. I would recommend not to insist to offer. -if you due to some reason could not serve the meal within 45+ minutes, I would expect an apology, a gesture. ( a coffee, desert, a discount).

The location is a bit outside the living area and therefore really relaxed and suitable to bring kids. Beautiful to sit outside in the summer. We had the best American meal outside the US. Especially the chimichurri was to die for. The restaurant is very beautiful and open. There were many great options for kids and the team was very friendly and attending. We can't wait to come back!! Their special cocktail was a blueberry matcha, which I had never seen before but found it very creative and delicious.

Good food but a little overpriced and too chaotic

Another restaurant geared towards US diner. Had a pulled pork burger which was modest and far too expensive compared to the pulled pork roll from the butcher in Herzogenrath.

The brunch was quite good, but with room for improvement. The dishes on the menu are great, super tasty burgers (even without a bun), great grilled salmon, aromatic baked potatoes, nice desserts. The atmosphere is wonderful, totally modern and high quality furnished in a tasteful style. The great bar is a real eye-catcher. All in all a great restaurant.

The ambience is great. The service is good, what is annoying is the frequent questions (every 5 minutes) whether everything is okay or you have the feeling that there are primarily monetary interests behind it (selling more drinks). The food is good, but very expensive for the quality. So price and quality don't quite match. But for some people, high prices give the feeling that it's really good food. And unfortunately the food isn't really good, hence 4 stars.

The ambience is visually appealing, but everything is very open and the loud acoustics create a waiting hall atmosphere. The waitress always tried to appear friendly and professional. She warned us that she couldn't guarantee that the steaks (medium well and well done) wouldn't be tough (!). We ordered them anyway: mistake. She also asked us if we would like some bread. This later appeared on the bill (usually always included in the price, except for The Ash). Conclusion: poor value for money. Based on my experience, I advise against a visit.

The welcome was great, but then it was difficult to dismantle. Service was almost non-existent. The burger patty's extremely dry and well fried. I was told that there was no other way because of the minced meat regulations. I had the Ash tower, and a small tower came. I'm a chef myself!!! My wife's noodles were really good. At a steakhouse with these standards, I would have expected better burgers. The service staff should take better care of their customers. We sat for almost 20 minutes without drinks after our meal. Would have liked to order something else. Conclusion: I'll try it again with a steak. Then I'll get in touch again.

The food was great, we had a flame steak salad and a flame steak sandwich, really very good. Service is very friendly and accommodating, but you wait a long time for drinks, food and until you can order something. Ambience very harmonious and beautifully decorated.

Very nicely decorated shop Menu super confusing bad... Except that my steak sandwich was cold and waiting times for food and drinks were super long despite the fact that the shop wasn't really full, you can do that... I would recommend it as a bar evening, not for eating... none I also think it's a shame to have mocktails other than 1-2

We ate at "The ASH" for the first time yesterday, two adults and two teenagers. The truffle burgers and the pulled beef burger were very good. The staff was very attentive, very friendly - without seeming artificial or artificial. We can only recommend the restaurant.

My colleague and I each ordered a wheat beer. The young employee (intern, 2nd day on duty) served it and stupidly emptied it down my pants. Not bad, it can happen. But Ines reacted best and saved the evening with her friendly and elegant manner. Thank you very much again for that!!!! By the way, the food (double bacon cheese) was great!!!

The homemade lemonade was ordered with the smashed burger menu. The waitress didn't seem to have much interest in interacting with people, unfortunately that also affected the overall impression. The lemonade tasted very good and I can recommend it without hesitation. Unfortunately, my smashed burger wasn't "mashed" and therefore only had two small patties, which were just 1/3 of the bun. I didn't think the overall impression was bad, but I didn't find the service commensurate with the price. I can well imagine that some new arrivals came because of the summer season, as some obviously couldn't cope with the table numbers. To be fair, it must also be said that there are staff there who work according to the requirements and are convincing. If asked, I should rather give feedback online.

The food wasn't good, unfortunately the management of the house didn't try to reach out to us. Problem: we order Chef Sélection and it comes partially burnt and with a bitter taste.

I ordered Chef sélection. And that came out burned out. And that was very bitter to eat. The worst: we complained to the manager, that was because we wanted “well done”. So in which country “well done” means eloped?

We visited as a party of 5. We were staying up the road at the Hampton by Hilton and from there it’s around a 20 minute walk. There’s a great menu with a good selection of different steaks and also burgers and other dishes. The wine menu had quite a few offerings along with various draft and bottled beers. The service was good. There was a slight issue with what we ordered but this was likely down to our lack of German and the issue was quickly rectified. Would definitely visit again.

A very cozy evening, in a great atmosphere. We didn't make a reservation, no problem for the two of us. A nice drink at the bar and then we went to the table. The food was delicious, the team was attentive and friendly! We will be back ! 🔥🔥🔥

After eating a la carte the other day, we tried the brunch today. We definitely weren't there for the last time. Excellent service, great selection of food and really tasty. We are excited.

I come regularly and today, as always, it was absolutely delicious. Really good meat (steak), perfectly prepared side dish. My unreserved recommendation also for the new hummus starter. Deviates from the classic recipe, in a positive sense. Service was also very, very friendly and good. We're always happy to come back!

We had an almost perfect evening on our wedding day. Thank you very much for this. The food and drinks are top class, the meat is absolutely top notch. The service was great, super nice and incredibly courteous and competent. Thanks for this! The price here is absolutely reasonable for what is on offer.

Once again a delicious meal. Had a very tender and delicious sirloin steak this time. There is no need to order sauce with the meat. Had bread with aioli beforehand, bread is very thickly cut pieces that are grilled instead of baked in the oven, highly recommended. By the way, the burgers are also recommended.

I ordered a triple burger! The patties were so dry and hard like chocks! It looked like pressed meat, which had nothing to do with good quality meat! I can also go to McDonalds!!!! Very disappointing, have been a customer for years! Now we have decided not to eat at Ash in Aachen anymore!

Die Fleischqualität war außerordentlich gut! The Ash ist teuer. 100 € für zwei Personen, nur drei Getränke und keine Vorspeise, nur ein Nachtisch. Trotzdem viel junges Publikum - erstaunlich bei den Preisen.

Ein sehr schönes Lokal und sehr leckeres Essen ich hab ein Tomahawk gegessen Medium .. sehr sehr gut gemacht .. 4 sterne sind fair .. Bedienung war mir leider etwas zu aufdringlich .. man wird förmlich gezwungen mehr zu kaufen aber trotzdem sehr nett aber da kann man Nichts sagen denke ja mal eher das kommt von der Chef Etage 😄 Aber alles in allem sehr schönes Lokal ich werde aufjedenfall wieder kommen

We visited “Ash” today and ate there. Good selection of food, very great ambience, prices quite high. The burgers were very tasty, as was the truffle mayonnaise with the burger. Port steak fries in a small bowl (handful) at €4.90, in my opinion, very expensive. Very friendly, nice service .Our citizens were served after 15 minutes...despite the busy restaurant. A latte macchiato with 4 € in a rather small glass also in price, also a bit lavish. Small dessert selection between 8.90 € - 15 € very expensive. I would have liked to eat a pancake, unfortunately not in the dessert selection. All in all, a nice visit to the "ASH" and I would definitely come back again and recommend it.

Compared to the restaurants in my own city, I can say that the food and service are of the highest quality. It never disappointed me at any time or in any intensity, I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Meat is king, but The Ash also has a lot to offer when it comes to salad. The brunch on Sunday is very rich and good, with a relaxed atmosphere. One drawback with filter coffee is the timing. Either too late or the pot of coffee has been sitting there for too long. That's why I order a crema or cappuccino like that. These specialists are not included in the brunch price but that's OK.

The service is great and the atmosphere is nice. We find the portions to be too small for the price and we never get full here. That's why we come very rarely. But what you get is fresh and delicious.

Das Maishähnchen war wenig gewürzt. Der Cesarsalad war lieblos angerichtet mit einer verbrannten Scheibe Brot. Wir mussten nach Ersatz für die Brotscheibe fragen. Das Dressing war anscheinend kein Cesardressing. Die Bedienung war sehr nett (Dana).

Es war richtig, den Tisch vorher zu reservieren. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Essen war hervorragend, das Fleisch war von hervorragender Qualität, der Salat sehr kreativ - alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir waren bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal da. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Waiting room atmosphere, incredibly loud noise level, quality of food does not correspond to the high price.

Das Essen, der Service und der ganze andere Rahmen war gut. Was uns persönlich absolut missfallen hat, dass man uns wie selbstverständlich nach einem Orangensaft gefragt hat und so tat, als ob dieser inkludiert war. Da bei unserem Sohn ein Heißgetränk oder Saft dabei war und wir auch darüber gesprochen haben, haben wir uns schon gewundert, dass plötzlich fünf Euro pro Glas auf der Rechnung waren. Ich denke dies ging nicht nur uns so, nahezu auf jedem Tisch standen die Orangensaftgläser. Da haben wir uns schon ziemlich veräppelt gefühlt. Ansonsten war alles gut.

The reception was great, the lady understood that very well. The service at the table was able to maintain the standard. Very friendly and helpful in finding the dishes. After that everything was very slow. Apparently no one in service was responsible for another order. I ordered a 200g steak, medium rare, and it was almost done. The quality of the meat is very good, which is what you would expect at €33 for 200g. Unfortunately not crispy on the outside but dry on the inside. Fries very good, spinach very boring.

I was in the mood for a really good piece of meat, so we went to the steakhouse. Unfortunately, the rump steak was only lukewarm when it arrived and therefore tasted rather medium. A bitter disappointment. Alina from service was very attentive and noticed that I was unhappy. However, the suggestion to put the steak on the grill again wasn't helpful because then, as you should know, it becomes tough. I then resigned myself to the cold steak and also paid the full price of €32. Sauce was charged extra again. My husband had a burger that was actually good. The fries weren't the real deal either and even the mayo was charged extra. In the end we paid over €70. It just wasn't worth it. Accordingly, I tipped very sparingly, even though poor Alina can't be blamed for the price calculation and the kitchen's failure. We are disappointed with a steakhouse that cannot cook steak.

It was a very full evening. The food itself was tasty, but having to wait almost an hour for the food despite having a reservation was unpleasant. The service only has 3 stars because it took so long. Our waitress was super nice and she wasn't to blame. So if you want to eat here, you should definitely bring enough time.

Was einen erneuten Besuch verhindert ist die Lautstärke der Musik, da die Boxen direkt über dem Tisch sind musste man sich schon sehr laut unterhalten. Okay, der Geräuschpegel ist insgesamt schon höher auf Grund des Raumkonzepts, aber die Musik war zu laut. Die Dame am Empfang könnte durchaus etwas höflicher und freundlicher sein.

Top Essen und die Bedienung ist immer bemüht das beste zu geben.

Stylish Burger & Steak House. Located at Aachen's Tivoli a little outside of the city, but with quite a lot of parking spaces.

Everything was very tasty and pleasing to the eye, but at best an overpriced restaurant visit for one person. You can do it sometimes but it's not for every week 83 euros for 350 g steak, a few fries, mayo, pepper sauce, side dishes salad, dessert and 3 drinks. What wasn't so nice was that, despite a reservation, we were asked to leave the table free for spontaneous guests, which is not possible at all in this price segment. We could have sat outside if the next guests had been able to, but the weather was good that evening nice . Anyway, all in all we had a nice evening. We'll come back, but not every week, as I said. Of course we stayed inside 😉

Wer mal etwas außergewöhnliches in Richtung Steak essen möchte ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Preise sind zwar etwas hoch, aber dafür ist die Qualität Top! Nur zu empfehlen

I was there for dinner with my son on April 23, 2024. When I ordered, I told the waitress that I wanted a break between the starter and the main course. We hadn't finished the appetizer yet when a waiter came and asked if he could bring the Thomahawk steak, I said no because we were still on the appetizer. When I was in the toilet the steak was served, if I had been at the table I would have returned the dish!!! It was no longer hot and tasted accordingly. 😒 The meat was of excellent quality, grilled to perfection

We were able to book a table online last minute, fortunately because it was busy upon arrival due to a public holiday. But the tent is so big that it doesn't feel that crowded. The food is delicious and the home made lemonade is highly recommended. Good experience, too bad it doesn't exist in the Netherlands.

Schönes Restaurant mit Außenbereich, sehr freundlicher Service, Beschäftigung für Kinder, kinderfreundlich, leckeres Essen, zahlreiche Parkplätze.

Der Kellner wirkte aufgrund seiner Ansprache leicht anmaßend. Zudem versäumte er, das Essen so rechtzeitig zu servieren, dass es noch hinreichend warm war. Es war leider grenzwertig warm und somit geschmacksgetrübt. Ansonsten besuche ich The ASH gerne. Es steht und fällt mit dem Personal, welches für einen zuständig ist.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war mega lecker und die Steaks auf den Punkt gegart.

We went there to eat from Belgium, it was the first and the last time, the waiter was very very rude, as if they were handing out the food for free man man man!!!

The atmosphere is the main feature of this place. The interior simply amazed me with its scale (wine wall). The food is delicious and very high quality for my taste. The order came quickly. The staff is friendly and has a pleasant smile. But this is a place for those who are willing to spend from 50 euros for two, but it's worth it.Thanks for your work.

Leider waren wir gestern nicht sonderlich erfreut, da wir leider unsere Vorspeise, welche bestellt wurde, nicht erhalten haben. Wir haben 45 Minuten gewartet und gesehen, dass unsere Vorspeise unten einige Zeit gestanden hat. Daraufhin wurde auf einmal unsere Hauptspeise geliefert ohne das wir je unsere Vorspeise erhalten haben. Aus diesem Grund habe ich nachgefragt, weshalb wir unsere Vorspeise nicht erhalten haben und ob man etwas am Preis machen könnten, da wir diese gerne trotzdem noch haben wollte es jedoch nicht mehr eingesehen haben, dafür den vollen Preis zu zahlen. Daraufhin wurde uns von unserem Kellner gesagt das er es stornieren würde da man daran nichts preislich ändern könne und das Essen, was bereits 30 Minuten auf der Theke stand, schon lange nicht mehr unseres wäre. Während wir unsere Hauptspeise nun gegessen haben haben wir gesehen, dass jeder an dieser Vorspeise, die bis zum Ende unseres Aufenthalts dort stand, vorbeigelaufen ist. Zum Ende hin wurde es einfach auf Seite gestellt, während zwischendurch 3 mal dieselbe Vorspeise zubereitet wurde und verteilt wurde. Uns hat es besonders geärgert das man nichh auf uns zugekommen ist und die einzige Lösung war, dass wir es entweder hätten komplett bezahlen müssen oder es, wie im Endeffekt passiert ist, einfach storniert wird. Das Essen war jedoch lecker was wir hatten, allerdings waren wir zu tiefst enttäuscht. Entweder lag der Fehler an der Frau die für die Bestellungen an der Theke zuständig war oder an den Kellnern die uns vergessen haben. Es ist einfach super schade, dass man einem Kunden so wenig entgegenkommt und das au ch ohen eine Entschuldigung.

Bei dem Preis sollte zumindest Wasser angeboten werden, wenn man sonst alle Getränke außer Filterkaffee extra zahlen soll. Außerdem erwarte ich frische Brötchen statt Tiefkühlware, als auch Brotangebote.

Immer wieder gutes Essen, und eine ueberfleissiche bedienung, in In einem ganz besonderen Ambiente.

Wir besuchten gestern, am 21.04.2024, das Restaurant und genossen größtenteils eine angenehme Erfahrung. Einziger Kritikpunkt war das Verhalten der Kellnerin die uns zum unseren Tisch gebracht hat. Sie hat uns bereits nach der Getränkebestellung zum Ausziehen unserer Jacken aufforderte, obwohl wir noch in Straßenkleidung waren und nicht am Tisch saßen. Dies empfanden wir als unnötig und aufdringlich, insbesondere bei den kühlen Außentemperaturen von +5°C. Auch beobachteten wir, dass sie dies bei anderen Gästen wiederholt tat, was den Eindruck verstärkte, dass sie es eilig hatte, obwohl kein offensichtlicher Grund dafür erkennbar war. Wir schätzen eine gewisse Höflichkeit und Zurückhaltung seitens des Personals, insbesondere wenn es um persönliche Angelegenheiten wie das Ausziehen von Kleidung geht. Wir hoffen, dass das Management dies als konstruktive Kritik betrachtet und Maßnahmen ergreift, um sicherzustellen, dass zukünftige Gäste eine angenehmere Erfahrung machen können.

Sehr nette Location, leider etwas längere Wartezeit aufs Essen,aber Samstag Abend,daher noch adäquat. Insgesamt empfehlenswert!
