Es war sehr sehr lecker bei euch. Wir hatten Hackfleisch Bällchen mit Metaxa Soße und einen Salat mit gegrilltem Hähnchen. Sooooo lecker 😊

Wirklich eine Seltenheit in unserem Umkreis. Ein phantastisches, griechisches Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente und Terrasse. Die Speisen sind gut, frisch und reichlich und das Personal wirklich sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren absolut begeistert von unserem Besuch in diesem griechischen Restaurant! Schon beim Betreten fühlt man sich willkommen – die Atmosphäre ist warm, gemütlich und authentisch. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und dabei nie aufdringlich. Das Essen war einfach hervorragend: frisch zubereitet, perfekt gewürzt und liebevoll angerichtet. Besonders das Fleisch war unglaublich zart und saftig, und die Beilagen haben das Ganze wunderbar ergänzt. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit hochwertigen Zutaten gearbeitet wird. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist mehr als fair. Für diese Qualität und den Service kommen wir sehr gerne wieder. Klare 5 Sterne – absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir waren mit Tischreservierung anlässlich eines 89.ten Geburtstages (4 Personen) an einem Samstag direkt um 12:30 Uhr zum Mittagessen im Restaurant Hermes. Das Lokal war bis auf einen Tisch, noch völlig leer. Das meiste Personal war während unserem Besuch die gesamte Zeit lautstark damit beschäftigt, die Terasse/Balkon zu reinigen/putzen und herzurichten. Alle Türen standen laufend offen und es war Durchzug. Es wurde sich permanent laut unterhalten - hin-/ und hergerufen. Wir haben dies nicht angesprochen, da wir angenommen haben, dass sich diese Situation schnell erledigt. Leider nicht der Fall. Wir waren ALLE der Meinung, dass wenn ich ein Restaurant für den Gast öffne, dass solche Arbeiten im Vorfeld erledigt sein müssen. Unsere Speisen waren lecker und ausreichend. Die Pommes allerdings, waren sooo kurz, so kleine habe ich noch nie gesehen. Der Beilagen-Salat etwas traurig und fad. Alle Teller (sehr groß) wurden nicht vorgewärmt und das Essen war lediglich nur noch lau-warm. Die Preise empfanden wir schon gehoben, dafür kann man von allem (eine ruhigere entspannte behagliche Atmosphäre, freundlicher aufmerksamer Service, warmes/heißes Essen, etc.) mehr erwarten. Es besteht noch Luft nach oben...

Wir hatten für 17 : 30 Uhr einen Tisch bestellt und keine halbe Stunde später war der Laden fast voll. Das kann nur an der Qualität des Hauses liegen, die sich herum gesprochen hat. Denn das Lokal liegt so versteckt, daß man wissen muss, wo es liegt. Die Einrichtung, ein wenig rustikal, gefällt mir und ich fühle mich wohl. Der Service ist extrem schnell und die Küche auch. Wer griechisches Essen mag mit viel Fleisch in großen Portionen, ist hier wirklich gut aufgehoben. Mir hat der Gyros ausgesprochen gut geschmeckt, so gut, wie schon lange nicht mehr. Vor dem Lokal ist eine Terrasse, auf der sich im Sommer bestimmt sitzen lässt und Parkplätze sind überraschenderweise auch ausreichend vorhanden.

Helle freundliche Räumlichkeit. Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich! Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist reichhaltig, so daß für jeden etwas dabei ist. Unsere Gerichte waren alle sehr geschmackvoll und üppig. Mein persönliches Highlight sind die Auberginen mit Tomatensauce 🤤 Ganz wichtig ist mir die Hygiene der Sanitärräume und die war den ganzen Abend über perfekt.

Essen und Service sind immer super. Preise leider gestiegen und der Raum könnte gerne größer sein.

Wir waren gestern seit langem mal wieder hier essen. Was uns ziemlich bitter aufgestoßen ist, war die Vorspeise Zaziki vom Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis her, eine Portion, was heißt Portion, das war ein Schlag Zaziki auf einem kleinen Tellerchen, so wenig das wir eine zweite Portion bestellt haben. 6,40€ für eine Mini-Portion Zaziki ist schon ziemlich unverschämt, dann der Zaziki beim Gericht, ein Esslöffel voll, mehr war das nicht. Zu guter Letzt der Beilagensalat, aus dem einstigen Hermes-Beilagensalat, ist der zum Salätchen geschrumpft, ein paar Blättchen Eisbergsalat der nix kostet mit einem Fitzel Dressing drauf, das war's. Hier muß dringend nachgebessert werden, das kann die Konkurrenz besser. Essen geschmacklich top, Service und Ambiente auch, da gibt's nichts zu meckern. Aber die angeführten Kritikpunkte haben den Aufenthalt schon getrübt. Essen gehen ist ja eh schon zum Luxusgut geworden, dann sollte aber auch bitteschön das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmen.

We visited the Hermes restaurant on a Saturday without a reservation and were lucky to get a seat – the restaurant was very busy. It's traditionally decorated and located in the middle of a residential area, giving it a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere. I had the ouzo plate with souvlaki, gyros, pork loin steak, and suzuki. The meat was excellently prepared, tender, juicy, and well-seasoned – exactly what you'd expect from a good Greek restaurant. Overall, I was very satisfied: friendly service, delicious food, and a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommended, especially for anyone who appreciates classic Greek cuisine.

Hermes is always my first choice when it comes to a fabulous lunch or dinner! I've eaten there at least seven times now, and it's always been excellent. I always have a starter, a main course, and usually two drinks, and I usually don't pay more than €30-35. The prices are really reasonable, and I highly recommend them!

After an admittedly half-hearted search, we found "our" Hermes from Adersstraße again. And once again, everything was just right. The food was delicious, and the service very friendly and attentive. We felt welcome and will definitely be back.

The restaurant is beautifully located. However, the food wasn't fresh. As soon as it was served, it was obvious that the food was frozen. This impression was confirmed when the packaging was removed from the side potatoes. When pointed out, the matter was dismissed, and the plate was taken back to the kitchen. Unfortunately, the food came back cold—now without the packaging.

The reviews speak for themselves. Great location, the golf platter is always a delight, and the quality of the food is outstanding.

Completely satisfied for the second time; we already visited the Hermes restaurant last year during our visit to Düsseldorf. And that was more by chance. Last year it received 5 stars ⭐️, and this time we've given it the full marks again. Service was quick, attentive, and very friendly. Even without a reservation, we were lucky enough to get a table. The menus were fresh, delicious, and well-seasoned. The salads should be improved in the future; they could be significantly improved with homemade dressings and a bit of creativity. Very reasonable prices for the good quality of the food and decent service.

It was great to see you again after 15 years. I've been with you for 30 years, with a break. ;-) The food is still top-notch. I wish you continued success.

It may look rather unassuming from the outside, but it's a really good restaurant with very fair prices—especially by Düsseldorf standards. The service is super friendly and prompt. The portions are huge, and everything is truly delicious. There's also plenty of parking. We always enjoy coming here!

The Greek restaurant is located in a quiet area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying. The food was simply fantastic, fresh, authentic and prepared with a lot of love. The appetizer platter and the lamb were particularly highlights. The service was warm and attentive, you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is also really cozy and still typically Greek. We usually eat here 2-3 times a year and never regret it! Very attentive service, great quality, easy to recommend. Very small drawback, the portion of tzatziki feels like it's getting smaller and smaller ;-(

Nice for an evening with friends

We came here for the first time thanks to a recommendation from friends and have probably found our new favorite Greek restaurant ;) Very tasty food with decent portions that will definitely fill you up. A wide selection and Greek wine, beer or even normal drinks. Service is great, everyone is friendly and quick. All in all highly recommended - but you should definitely make a reservation. The only drawback: I found it very loud with many guests

Beautiful place. It was very tasty for us. They complimented us with the drink. I tried Greek wine, I highly recommend it on the menu, white in the third position and it was written that it was traditional Greek. Very tasty Greek kebab and llama with gyros. The dolma was also wonderful. We'll be back 😊 There are no problems with parking, it was very important for us)

Wir war erstmalig zum Geburtstags-Abendessen. Der Gastraum ist eine wohltuende Mischung aus "alter" Taverne und neuen, modernen Elementen. Wir haben uns direkt gut und willkommen gefühlt. Die Speisekarte ist allerdings erschlagend groß mit weit über 100 Gerichten. Ein kleines Manko, wie ich finde. Aber die Speisen, die wir gewählt haben waren gut und frisch zubereitet. Und auch nicht trocken, wie man es vom Griechen gewohnt ist. Insgesamt ein sehr positiver Eindruck. Und wir werden bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder dort essen.

I Like That Place. The Kind of Food (a Kind of german adapted Greek Food) is top notch. There is always staff available to meet your Desires (which is unfortunately Not a given Thing). So, if you‘re out for a nice evening and being a meat&fish lover (of course there are Vegetarian options), this is one of the places you‘re Looking for (Even if it’s Kind of de-central)

A classic Greek restaurant on a secluded street in Düsseldorf with free parking nearby. Cozy lighting. Well-kept and stylishly clean facility. Very friendly greeting when entering the restaurant. We had already made a reservation by phone. We had already found the location online. The many positive reviews made us curious. We wanted to find a really tasty "Greek" for our short trips in the NRW / Düsseldorf area. THAT has now happened. The tzatziki starter plate was very tasty and the garlic bread with fresh garlic is really amazing! My wife got the lamb plate (cooked well on request) - perfectly executed! I received the Ouzo plate. The plate was extremely well stocked and tasted exceptionally delicious! In my opinion and my taste, absolutely recommended! There were also 2 salad plates. Some Ouzo's rounded off the great dinner. We will save the address for future visits. An absolute recommendation! Thanks to the entire team for the delicious and memorable evening! Had dinner there for the first time yesterday. Table pre-ordered, great atmosphere, very, very friendly staff Ouzo in advance and great food. We were there with 5 people and everyone was thrilled. We'll definitely be back!

We were here for the first time today and we are all very satisfied with all aspects. Reservations on the phone are quick and easy. The store's furnishings are very nice and cozy, chic, especially with the many wooden looks. The counter is very invitingly presented. The service is friendly and attentive. The menu is very extensive and offers a variety of high quality dishes, just like the Greek style. The starters were all very well prepared and tasted really great, with a very intense taste. For example, we had tzatziki and garlic bread. It basically went on like this, we tried all the plates, fried potatoes really crispy like fries or chips, beef fillet, pork fillet, chicken fillet all buttery tender and of good quality, classics like gyros really crispy and the bifteki very juicy and spicy, side salad very fresh and crunchy. There was also a decent portion on the plates. The dessert was again beautifully presented and very tasty at the end. We have nothing to complain about, it was really good. We ate a lot of fresh dishes, several courses, of higher quality and the price was reasonable. We would definitely come again. Thank you 😃

Feels like 20. attempt to finally post this post. Maybe it will work in an English version. My son dragged me here and I didn't regret it. The shop was also really full during the week, people seemed to like it like I did. We had the classic gyros and calamari with broccoli, plus potato slices instead of the usual fries. Very tasty, including the white wine recommended by the host. The location is full and busy, the staff quick and friendly. This is how I imagine a Greek restaurant.

Our absolute favorite Greek restaurant in Düsseldorf for years. Classic, medium-sized restaurant. Great quality and the service is simply A1. The salad dressing is a well-kept secret recipe that I unfortunately haven't been able to get out of the boss for the last 10 years 😄
