My family and I have been to Hellas many times. Every single time, the staff has been very friendly and attentive. They always checked to see if everything was alright and if we enjoyed our meal. The portions are generous and very filling. The atmosphere is cozy, and they are happy to offer a different seat if you prefer a quieter setting. The food is delicious and homemade, especially the homemade sauces. The meat, whether souvlaki, pork, or gyros, is incredibly tender and falls apart when you pick it up. The food is typically Greek, deliciously seasoned, and they offer ouzo as a welcome and farewell – excellent! I highly recommend this Greek restaurant!

The service was nice. The beer was a bit flat. The eggplant appetizer was quite good. For our main course, we had gyros baked in Metaxa. It was too little for the price and lacked flavor. The interior is very old, and the benches are worn.

No Atmosphere 4, menu on a laminated sheet. That's a snack bar atmosphere. The food...not plentiful, gyros a bit dry, but OK. Service, well, you can't really speak of that. The food was brought to the table. First salad and then immediately the main courses. When we ordered a drink, it came after...15 minutes. The place wasn't full. After the meal, it felt like no one came by for an hour. Then they cleared the table, we would have liked another beer or something, but we were left alone for an hour and a half. Then we got up and went to the cash register. The man didn't want to make any money, and the service was not good. Sorry for the 1 star.

Even when the store is full, you will receive great quality service and friendly service.

I've NEVER eaten such good Greek food! Amazing! We arrived by chance around 9 p.m. and were warmly welcomed by the owner. The salad was amazing, the dressing fresh and fruity! When I asked for a recommendation, the owner recommended a chicken dish with a white wine sauce. I could have bathed in it! We rolled out and neither of us managed to finish our food! So I can't agree with what the previous reviewers have said! As a thank you, we left with a generous tip, and we'll definitely be back!

Friendliness isn't a priority there... apart from that, there was no ouzo either as a welcome or when paying!

We always enjoyed eating there in the evening after the Domweih but the portions have become so small that they no longer justify the price. The liver was black, dry and hard, so we are now looking for another restaurant.

The best Greek restaurant I know! Everything is freshly prepared according to the owners' recipes. The best meat and a sauce that truly deserves the name "Metaxa sauce." You're always greeted warmly, even without a reservation. A very pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere!

Great restaurant, absolutely beautiful from the outside, you feel like you're sitting in a Greek alley. The food is absolutely delicious, and everyone is very friendly.

A very small and cozy atmosphere. Very tasty food, but it was the first time I left a Greek restaurant hungry. The stir-fry was a pan with just the bottom covered. The almost 20 euros were not justified. Too bad

The taste was great, hence the 2 points... but the portion, we had the gratinated pan dish, was very clear. Barely covered the ground. Didn't get full for the first time at the Greek restaurant. Price performance is therefore very difficult.

It was completely by chance that we strolled past there with our dog and the weather suddenly changed. We were immediately assured in a very friendly manner that we and the dog were very welcome. We got a great place where the dog could lie down. Attentive staff! A welcome schnapps on the house! And really great food! The gyro meat was like butter! Delicious! We'll come back when we get the chance! Mini Mini drawback: the chairs were a bit old, but that's complaining at a high level! Otherwise great Greek flair! Keep it up!

We've been eating there for many years. In contrast to many other restaurants, the food here and especially the friendliness of the staff have remained the same over the years.

Went there without a reservation and got a great place. Food and drinks were ordered quickly and arrived quite quickly. It was super tasty and we'll be back soon 😉

The food is really delicious and the quantity is ok 👌. The service could still use some practice when it comes to ordering drinks. Personally, the lighting in the restaurant was actually too bright for me, but that doesn't mean a negative criticism of the atmosphere. But I will definitely come back.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, gute Portionen. Das Essen war soooo lecker, hatte keine Zeit ein Foto zu machen.....Essen kam und direkt losgelegt. Wenn ich in Deutschland bin, ist es mein Lieblingsrestaurant.

Ein Stück Griechenland in Verden! Richtig gutes Essen! Da ist der Preis auch total in Ordnung. Die Bedienungen sind total herzliche Menschen und wir persönlich fühlen uns dort jedesmal wieder sehr willkommen. Da schmeckt es gleich doppelt so gut!

Das Essen war lecker, aber etwas wenig. Früher hat man zu einem normalen Gericht wenigstens etwas Tzatziki bekommen. Mittlerweile nur eine Teelöffel Menge. Ca. 5 € extra für eine Portion Joghurt mit Knoblauch. Diese Preispolitik finde ich sehr traurig. Ansonsten war's abgesehen von der etwas ruppigen und wenig charmanten Bedienung relativ angenehm und lecker.

Köstlich, alles selbst gemacht laut Bedienung. Das Lamm und der Grillteller waren super lecker. Sehr netter Service!

Ich war früher Stammgast und es war immer super. Nettes Personal und leckeres Essen. Nun waren wir nach langer Zeit mal wieder da und es ist immer noch prima! Wir kommen wieder!😇

Wir hatten keine Plätze reserviert, aber es wurde uns trotzdem ein Tisch angeboten und das auf einen Samstagabend. Super !!!

Essen beim Griechen wie in Griechenland, so lecker (Tzaziki ein Traum) und immer ausreichend, für einen wirklich fairen Preis.Die Bedienung ist super lieb und die Besitzer sowieso... Wer sich ein bisschen wie nach Hause kommen fühlen möchte, sollte diesen tollen Griechen besuchen. Für uns sind 2 Wochen ohne Euch eigentlich schon zu lang, aber Dienstplan und Entfernung zwingen uns zur kurzen Zwangspause/ spätestens nächste Woche sind wir aber wieder da! ❤

Natürlich gab es für mich Ouzo-Teller. Leider entgegen der Angabe auf der Karte am Eingang ohne Ouzo. Macht nix, war so lecker, dass ich vor Gier vergessen habe, ein Foto zu machen. Da geh' ich wieder hin!

10/2022 Gute griechische Küche, seit Jahrzehnten an diesem Standort. „Kleine“ Corona-Speisekarte mit guter Auswahl. Freundliche und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter.

Qualität des Essens gut, allerdings merkt man auch hier die Inflation. Die Portion war kleiner, was sofort auffiel und zur Folge hatte, das Mann nicht satt war. Das Ambiente hat durch das umstellen der Tische an Gemütlichkeit verloren. Hier passt der Spruch:Früher war es besser...

Gute Lage ... z.zt. natürlich wg Baustelle eingeschränkt. Chefin erst etwas reserviert dann sehr herzlich ...... Essen sehr gut,herzhaft und genug.....kann man gut empfehlen 😋

Super lecker, gehen auf Sonderwünsche der Gäste ein, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Erneuter Besuch: Kinder Gyros, ich weiß nicht ob und wann ich bei einem Griechen schon mal so exzellentes Gyros bekommen habe!
