Wer indische Küche mag, geht woanders essen. Leider wenig gewürzt und die Portion ist sehr übersichtlich- bin kaum satt geworden, obwohl ich nicht wirklich viel esse.

Food ok but ordered on Friday at 2 p.m. and when I picked it up 10 minutes later there was suddenly no lunch for 7.90 between 12-3 p.m. as it says on the page but 13.90€... The employee didn't know anything about the lunch menu and did don't let yourself be talked to. Wonder how something like this can happen.

For anyone who likes Indian food, an address with the best price/performance ratio in a great Hattinger old town atmosphere. Always my pleasure!

Was last minute. Needed some dishes, and wanted to just grab it and eat home. Gentleman at the bar took our order, good was ready in 15 like they said. Thanks that there's good, easy Restaurants still.

Yesterday I was in Hattingen with my girlfriend and I have to say that I was impressed. Nice old-style center, lots of restaurants and we had a delicious dinner in the haveli there.

Great Indian cuisine and a good selection of dishes. The service is also super friendly. One of my favorite restaurants.

The food was really delicious. The service is okay. Unfortunately, what really bothers me is that I can't pay by card.

Unfortunately we had to wait almost 90 minutes for the food. Supposedly because it was full but not in the restaurant but rather the orders through Lieferando! These seem to have priority. But the food was super tasty.

Once again we have found that the food is of consistently good quality and the service is friendly and good. There is a lunch menu at very reasonable prices and you can sit very comfortably both in the house and, when the weather is good, on the terrace. The view of Hattingen's old town is an additional plus.

Knapp kurzfristig noch einen zeitlich begrenzten Tisch am frühen Abend bekommen. Wahrscheinlich ist es am Wochenende immer besser zu reservieren. Das Essen war gut, nicht indisch profund sondern etwas europäisiert, aber trotzdem lecker und ich habs auch schön scharf bekommen, hatte extra bei Bestellung drum gebeten. Wer gerne indiscxh isst, ist hier richtig.

Very good Indian restaurant in a rustic atmosphere in Hattingen's old town. The dishes from the tandoori oven are highly recommended. The service is friendly. However, it may take a little longer to receive your food during peak times. As compensation for this last time we got a beer on the house. There are also some nice options to sit outside. The Haveli has a second store in Witten. From this we were -regarding the quality of the food - but not at all convinced. We will therefore only visit the Haveli in Hattingen.

This was our second time there and this time we sat in the beer garden. The service was nice and attentive enough, so we can't complain. “No card payment” is not up to date, but for us it is not an exclusion criterion. The food is okay but not an explosion of flavors as you would expect and know from an Indian restaurant. Unfortunately, the sauces seem adapted to the European palate and the spicy dishes are at most slightly spicy. This time we ordered the platter for two people and unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. The starters were all fried and tasted the same, the three main courses, one of which was vegetarian, were at least varied in taste. However, in the two meat dishes there were only two small pieces of chicken or two small pieces of lamb per person and in the vegetarian version there was only 1 piece of paneer per person. We were only full because of the extremely powerful sauces and the huge amount of rice that was served with it, which - like in the Chinese restaurant - was cooked without any spices. I had several plastic threads in the mango dessert. All in all: you can do it, but you don't have to.

Perfect Indian cuisine in a historic half-timbered house in the old town, better than many big city restaurants. All ingredients are cooked to perfection and tandoori dishes from the clay oven arrive at the table sizzling.

I can't say anything about the ambience and service, I've never been there. But just ordered and both dishes are subterranean in terms of taste and consistency. Actually not edible either, at least the lamb meat, tough and fatty at the same time... I have no idea where all the reviews come from, but they are not justified when it comes to the food.

The Haveli offers seating outside and inside in the rustic atmosphere of a half-timbered house. The food is very good and offers nice vegetarian options. There is also a selection of desserts to complete the meal. Yummy!!!!

We have never eaten Indian food so well... We were there with a large group and everyone enjoyed it... We will be back definitely...

Situated within the Altstadt of Hattingen, this restaurant is an old Fachwerkhaus(Timer framed house). The food was tasty, nice atmosphere. Don’t forget to order Mango lassi, Butter roti and Chicken Vindaloo. The accept only cash

It looked inconspicuous from the outside, but once you opened the door, it was like you were in another world. The food was delicious and came quite quickly.

In the middle of the beautiful old town flair, Indian food from the half-timbered house. The food was fantastic, a real treat for the palate. Absolutely recommended. The service is top notch. And the ambience really feels like a throwback to the old days, a bit like a little journey back in time. But it's wonderful.

Everything was great. It wasn't possible to pay by card and I didn't have enough cash with me by €5. The gentleman was very friendly and I didn't have to pay anything extra or do any washing up 😂 I basically got a gin and tonic as a gift. Otherwise the atmosphere was very cozy, my food was just as tasty as last time and not too crowded on a Friday evening >>>

The Haveli in Hattingen is a culinary insider tip! Our weekend visit was a feast for the senses. The aromas of Indian cuisine took us on a taste journey. The ambience in the half-timbered building was inviting and the staff were extremely accommodating. A highly recommended experience for anyone who loves Indian cuisine! We would like to come again!

Absolutely beautiful atmosphere on 2 floors, we were lucky to get 3 seats, it was very well attended. The food was fantastic and we were very impressed by the very friendly service. You can really have a lovely evening here.

Das Essen war gut und ausreichend. Die Preise völlig in Ordnung. Was nicht so gut war, es war sehr kühl im Restaurant. Bei Außentemperaturen um die 2 Grad, war es kein Wohlfühlort.

Nicht super gut aber auch nicht schlecht. Etwas zu wenig Indische Ambiente. Normale bezahlbare Preis. Die ständige Musik beschallung war "nervig" . Auch wurde mein Leere Bier Krug lange übersehen, Personal ist mindestens 5x bei unsere Tisch vorbei gelaufen - ich musste selbst nachfragen nach neue Getränk . Es hat etwas "flach" mit wenig Charakter geschmeckt. Ich persönlich hätte mir mehr gewürzt gewünscht , aber es ist vielleicht Nur mein Geschmack. Denke für breite Publikum ist es o.k.

Ich habe dieses Restaurant gemeinsam mit einer Begleitung besucht und habe sehr lecker gegessen. Als Vorspeise bestellte ich uns vegane Samosa & vegetarische Panir Pakora . Als Hauptgericht verspeisten wir veganes Benghan ka Bharta und ein Chicken Tikka Masala. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht und der Service war sehr aufmerksam und nett.

Essen super , wirklich sehr sehr lecker. Leider war die Bedienung Freitag Abend nicht gut. Die junge Dame kannte sich überhaupt nicht mit der Getränkeauswahl aus und hat zum Schluss einfach mein halbvolles Glas abgeräumt. Sehr unaufmerksamer Service, schade.

Wir haben das erste mal dort gegessen und sind von dem Essen und der Bedienung sehr angetan. Wir werden auf jedenfall nochmal wiederkommen. Kompliment an die Küche!

Tolle Terrasse, zentral in der Hattinger Altstadt, aber ruhig. Sehr leckeres Essen (viel Vegetarisches im Angebot). Freundliche, aufmerksame, unaufdringliche Bedienung. Gerne wieder!

Bestes indisches Restaurant weit und breit! Ich war schon so oft dort und komme immer wieder! Fantastisches Essen auf welches man nicht lange warten muss, sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service!

Rundum zufrieden, sowohl Vorspeisen, selbstgemachte Limonaden als auch das Hauptgericht waren köstlich. Die verwendeten Gewürze haben perfekt mit den Gerichten harmonisiert und das Essen zu einem Erlebnis aufgewertet. Ein erneuter Besuch ist sicher!

Super leckeres Essen. Service hervorragend. Das Haus muss man gesehen haben. Der kleine Fußmarsch zum Parkplatz nach dem Essen tut sehr gut. Gut besucht. Daher besser im Vorfeld reservieren.

Indisch auf Schmalspurbahn. Hier fehlen leider komplett die Aromen und der Mut. Brot schmeckt wie Pappe, die Dipps tendieren eher Richtung Majonese und Marmelade. Schade!

Sehr authentisches leckeres Essen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis ist völlig in Ordnung. Das Restaurant ist außerdem gemütlich und schön eingerichtet.

Das indische Restaurant ist in einem historischen Gebäude mit sehr viel Charme untergebracht. Freundliche Bedienung. Von den Speisen eher im Mittelfeld, da ist Luft nach oben für feinere, vielseitigere Gewürze. Die Flaschen öffnet man hier selbst. Nicht zeitgemäß: keine Kartenzahlung möglich!
