It's actually a pretty nice restaurant, but definitely not for vegetarians. There isn't a vegetarian dish on the entire menu, especially for vegans, apart from that the prices are pretty high. On a positive note: the conditions are quite nice

Very friendly and attentive service. The meat was well prepared. The salad buffet was not appealing and the wine selection was rather poor. Overall it was ok.

We have been regular guests of the Pavic family for more than 40 years. An absolute enrichment for Hattingen. Everything is always freshly prepared and delicious.

We were simply thrilled. My dish of Breton pepper pot with beef fillet tips, fried potatoes and broccoli with hollandaise sauce was of high quality. The meat is so tender and to the point, the broccoli is fresh green and cooked to perfection. The fried potato is a poem. A restaurant that deserves an upscale rating. The waiters were attentive but not stiff, but extremely friendly and approachable. A clear recommendation for anyone looking for outstanding quality.

I've been here several times, this time with friends. Nice atmosphere, very cozy and excellent service. The steaks are the Hammer. The lamb dishes are also excellent. Everything cooked to perfection. My absolute recommendation.

Everything was great as always but 1 star deduction for the insane price increases of around 20%? It's a real shame & maybe reconsider...

Unfortunately not suitable for seniors if you are not good on foot. You have to climb a large outside staircase. Therefore only 1 point for service and ambience, to express this. But the staff is friendly and the food is really good

#2/24/2024 I now eat a vegan diet. Unfortunately, there is nothing vegetarian or vegan on offer. But they put a lot of effort into putting together a great vegetable platter with baked potatoes for me. Was very tasty and plentiful. Maybe this can be incorporated into the menu... Very nice atmosphere, very tasty food and very attentive service. Nice selection. I find it very positive that you put your own salad together at the salad buffet. We recommend

Was here for the first time by invitation. The restaurant is definitely worth recommending. The food (steak) was cooked exactly to perfection. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere rounded off the evening. Everything excellent!!

Ein sehr gutes Lokal etwas abseits gelegen. Leckeres Essen, sehr freundlicher Service... mehr braucht es nicht. Das Ambiente litt etwas unter der Lautstärke (was aber an einem Samstag Abend kurz vor Weihnachten auch nicht anders zu erwarten ist). 5* und definitiv nicht die letzte Weihnachtsgans in Hattingen :)

Hier stimmt einfach alles. Sehr gemütliches Ambiente, hervorragende Küche und extrem nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Unser absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant!

Das Team Bürgerbus Hattingen hat am 2.12.2023 mit ca.40 Personen dort das jährliche Weihnachtsessen genossen. Wie auch im letzten Jahr war der Service, das bestellte Essen, sowie das Ambiente Spitzenklasse! Immer wieder gerne und weiter zu empfehlen!

Essen war lecker, aber Portionen nicht dem Preis entsprechend groß. Nett eingerichtetes Lokal mit einigen großen Tischen. Unser Tisch war ohne Tischdecken, fand ich jetzt der Ausstattung des Restaurants nicht gerade angemessen.

Leider wird das Lokal auch nach ein paar Jahren Abstand, nicht mein Favorit. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, war das beste am Lokal. Die Vorspeisensalattheke erinnerte mich zu sehr an meine Rehaklinik, wenngleich dort mehr Auswahl und Frische Produkte zu finden waren und n bissl 80er Jahre. Geschmacklich auch nicht gut. Die Salatsaucen fand ich beide nicht lecker! Sehr schade fand ich auch, das ausser Salat und Vorspeisensuppe, keinerlei vegetarisches Gericht auf der Karte stand! Beim Hauptgericht meines Mannes war das Fleisch teils angebrannt und schmeckte auch danach. Das Ajvar war recht fad! Mein Hauptgericht war geschmacklich ok, allerdings bei einer Championsauce mit drei kleinen Champions ( bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob sie frisch oder auch( wie 70% beim Salatbuffet) aus der Dose waren...Tendenz Dose ) doch bei diesen Preisen dort unangemessen. Das Glas Grauburgunder war geschmacklich einer der schlechtesten seit langer Zeit im Vergleich! Schade, hätte ich mir anders gewünscht.

Sehr gut geführtes Restaurant. Lecker Speisen in sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist zudem sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Wir kommen nun seit mindestens 30 Jahren hierhin und das Essen ist immer wieder hervorragend und der Service super nett und zuvorkommend .Für mich das beste Lokal in Hattingen.

Gutes Essen, guter und freundlicher Service. Das Steak war gut gebraten und das Wienerschnitzel super zart. Gerne wieder. Das Restaurant ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet und trotz vieler Gäste nicht laut.

Gemütliches Restaurant, leckeres essen, super Steaks, freundliche, humorvolle und schnelle Bedienung, sehr empfehlenswert.

Wie immer das Pfeffer Steak war absolute Spizze. Als Beilage werde ich demnächst die Folien Kartoffel wählen nicht die Pommes. Der Salat vom Buffet ist Standart nichts besonderes. Das Eis als Nachtisch nichts besonderes besser Mouse o Schokolade.

Seit Jahren gleichbleibend hohe Steakqualität gepaart mit großartigem familiären Service. Auch für größere Feiern geeignet. Seit Jahren unser Stammlokal.

Wer hohe Qualität zu einem vernünftigem Preis bevorzugt, ist hier absolut richtig. Gehe seit Jahren gelegentlich hin - immer Top, ohne Ausnahmen.
