When we were in Celle, we wanted to eat at this restaurant. We got a table right away, as the restaurant was empty. The service was nice and friendly (especially at first). We ordered schnitzel, onion soup, and a country platter. The onion soup was delicious and well-seasoned. The schnitzel tasted okay, but too fatty. The country platter, which we ordered twice, had ribs coated in a special marinade. I felt like the "skin" hadn't even been removed from the underside. The ribs were dry, tough, and oddly seasoned. The chicken wings, in my opinion, were just pre-cooked. They had also been in the fryer too long, so they were dry and poorly seasoned. The steak was killed on the grill the second time. I ordered medium, but the meat was dry, tough, and poorly seasoned. I also got herb butter, which I couldn't melt on the steak because it was cold. I would have enjoyed the chewing gum more than the meat. For the first time in my life, I didn't finish a steak. When you go to a steakhouse, you hope to get a tasty steak, but this was below any steakhouse. Very disappointing. The only thing that was tasty was the salad appetizer, which was fresh but unfortunately with store-bought dressing. When we arrived, the restaurant was filling up. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't come. We called for the bill, but even after waiting half an hour, no one came. No one acknowledged us, so I was forced to go inside to pay. When we arrived, the waitress informed us that card payments weren't accepted today (which I understand; it can happen), but I didn't get a pad when I paid in cash. Apparently, their pad printer wasn't working either. I'm disappointed.

What was very positive was that the timing was right and everyone got their food at the same time. Unfortunately, we have had to experience bad things in some restaurants. Unfortunately, the spare ribs reminded me a lot of a supermarket ready-made product. With a price of over 24 euros for the smaller portion, I consider it to be a bit overpriced. The ribs may have been pre-cooked/cooked. The sauce tasted very much like tomato paste, a bit spicy and little sweet - but not like barbecue and honey as promised in the menu. The ends of the ribs were rather dry, while the middle fell apart very easily. The waitress defined this (after my review) as “tender meat”. The meat taste reminded me of Tulip ribs from the plastic package. I also found the fries to be a bit very dry. Ketchup was only available upon request. Pros: The starter salad was really good. Nevertheless, even the few bites of spareribs I ate left me heavy in my stomach and made me burp for hours afterwards. Luckily I only ate a little of it. I dropped about 70-80 percent, paid and left (a little frustrated though). The waitress stated that several people before me were happy with the ribs. So it could be that I just had a “bad” portion. But unfortunately this will mean that I will rather avoid this restaurant in the future.

We were there before our visit to the cinema. When we pointed out that we only had an hour or so of time, we were treated quickly and still with appropriate advice. Our bowls, dressing, fries and steaks were great.

I picked up the spare ribs from the lunch table here and was super satisfied. There were extremely good potato wedges that seemed homemade and were well seasoned. There was also a lot of sour cream and there was also a lot of dressing in the side salad. The salad was also super tasty, there were even sunflower seeds in it. The ribs themselves were okay - they were a little hard/dry at the edges, but they still fell off the bones pretty well. But you can eat well. But I would definitely recommend the whole thing.

It would have been great to be informed of this as soon as we arrived. The portions seem to be getting smaller and smaller. What you can't shake is the quality of the food...it was really great. Nevertheless, we will think about coming again next time. Unfortunately!

I visited the restaurant without a reservation. Wasn't a problem. 30 minutes later everything was full. Which isn't surprising. The food was simply great and the service was very nice. I'd be happy to come back when I get the chance.

We have been a customer there for eight years now. Consistently top quality. Real palate sex. Super nice staff who have been working there for years.

The schnitzel is a molded meat schnitzel, the fries were floury and the answer was: we are a steakhouse and you couldn't prepare a "real" schnitzel for that price, other guests think it's delicious. I think there's a better way: just take it off the menu if you want to be a steakhouse. The salad beforehand tasted good and was fresh. I won't try a steak there because the fries don't even deserve a star. My wife's grilled turkey was ok. We won't be coming back, it's a shame.

Was für ein Restaurant? Wir waren mit 20 Personen Gast. Im Vorfeld haben wir sogar die Speisekarte erhalten und konnten in Ruhe unser Essen auswählen. Nach einer langen Tagung haben wir uns sehr auf den Abend gefreut. Es war gemütlich, das Team war spitze und wir haben gemeinsam viel gelacht. Alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Was mir sehr positiv aufgefallen ist, dass sich hier auch außerhalb des Restaurantsbesuch per E-Mail um das Wohlbefinden im Nachhinein erkundigt wurde. Eine Kundenbetreuung, wie sie sich jeder wünscht. Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr gut. Jeder hat sich wohlbefühlt und das auch im Nachgang noch bei mir bestätigt. Danke an das Team :-)

The “Grand Canyon” restaurant in Celle may seem rather inconspicuous from the outside, but the taste on offer exceeds my expectations! My beef fillet was cooked perfectly to medium rare, although it could have been cooked a little more evenly on both sides. However, the taste was excellent and the other dishes we tried were also excellent. Only the salad was quite standard and I had the feeling that some of it was a bit watery. By the way, my companions didn't feel that way. What is particularly positive is the openness and flexibility of the supplements. I really wanted a mix of fries and croquettes, and it was great that my wish was fulfilled without any problem. I would also like to emphasize how nice and clean the men's toilet was (see pictures and videos). The service was friendly and attentive, which completed the overall experience. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here – I would come back at any time. For me, the “Grand Canyon” in Celle clearly deserves 5 stars!

I ordered schnitzel “hunter style” and croquettes too! Small salad 🥗 came first. And a slice of lemon in the cola is very good. Only I thought of mushroom cream sauce and lots of mushrooms instead of onions and fried ham cubes. Food was served on a very large plate and was rather a small portion. The service was friendly and the restaurant's space is comfortably furnished.

Great food, but such a shame we weren’t told that the card machine wasn’t working until after we had finished eating and it was time to pay. Had to go and find a cash machine so we could pay for meal.

It really was 10/10 delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly. The chicken wings were seasoned just a little bit too mildly, but that's really hardly worth mentioning. We were there on vacation and can only recommend it to everyone. The online reservation was also completely easy. Always my pleasure!

Waited 50 minutes for the food. The portions are something for people who want to lose weight. Value for money not worth one star. When we asked after 45 minutes when the food would come, we got a bitchy answer. There are enough restaurants in Celle. In any case, I won't see this restaurant again.

For lunch we had asparagus, schnitzel, boiled potatoes and hollandaise sauce. 5 sticks of asparagus, 2 potatoes and a ready-made schnitzel per person. The sauce was about 1 tbsp. on the asparagus and also from the bag. Paid 15 euros for this. Conclusion: You can, but you don't have to.

So I waited over 40 minutes for the food and people who ordered with us were already finished eating, the service was unfriendly and the food was, well, the schnitzel was OK but the potatoes weren't cooked through, the asparagus was just as little and was simple Disappointed, if you want to pay you have to let us know 10 minutes in advance because otherwise they would be gone for so long. The schnitzel tasted like a ready-made schnitzel, carrots from yesterday and generally not a good experience

We have been back to the Grand Canyon for a very long time and we are thrilled. Very nice service. A small but sufficient selection for children and the menu has something for everyone. The fillet pan with beef was incredibly tasty, the meat was very aromatic and tender. The salads that were served with it also tasted very good and I like that no peanuts were used there. The beef fillet was also on point and was very tender and had an aromatic taste. The children's dish with the chicken breast was also very tasty. A very nice atmosphere and clean toilets. We would like to come back, hence the full stars.

Very good quality meat. Doneness as desired. Unfortunately we sat directly opposite the entrance door - extremely cold due to the constant opening and closing of the door. The invoice also had to be requested 3 times and we had to wait a total of over 30 minutes for it.

Freundlich empfangen und zügig mit Getränken versorgt. Bei den Speisen eine Gute Auswahl. Wir hatten Rippchen (800g) und die Westernpfanne, unsere Wünsche bei den Beilagen und der Soße wurde umgesetzt. Es war sehr lecker und sehr zu empfehlen.

Tolles passendes Ambiente. Fleisch wird nach Wunsch gegart und kommt auch genauso an den Platz. Kellner sind freundlich. Und das Essen ist echt super lecker. Der Nachtisch war nicht so gut wie das Hauptgericht. Aber dennoch schön angerichtet. Vier Sterne Gesamtbewertung ist also fast perfekt wegen des Nachtischs.

Lækker mad og god service! Servitricene er meget søde. Salaten er frisk og sprød, med gode friske råvarer. Kød og pommes ligeledes lækkert, de var dog lidt for venlige med peberen på mørbraden men kødet var godt. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen. 😊👍🏻
