Restaurant Friesisches Bauernhaus in Varel

We were there for the first time yesterday and we were absolutely thrilled! The food – we had the master brewer's plate – was a true delight. Everything was just perfect. We're absolutely thrilled! The building complex is very interesting and gives the place a special flair. The beer is excellent. We'll definitely be back. A tip: it's worth making a reservation!

Very large portions. Beautifully centrally located and still plenty of free spaces. Would love to come back.

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Aber von gehobener Küche kann wirklich keine Rede sein. Die Ideen sind gut,aber die Umsetzung auf Lehrlingsniveau: Caesars Salad ohne schmeckbares Parmesan , ohne Croutons, Bacon überhaupt nicht knusprig. Die 3 verschiedenen Fischfilets waren tot gebraten. Der Flammlachs war gut gebraten aber viel zu salzig. Ein enttäuschender Abend.

Very friendly owner, without a reservation we got a nice table from him with a view of the North Sea. The food was delicious, both the fish plate and the burger. We would be happy to come back.
