Top Service, sehr freundlich! Tolles Essen direkt am See aber doch in Ruhe das essen genießen, da der Weg ein bisschen weiter unten ist.

Sehr leckere Fischbrötchen, aber am besten im Lokal essen, da die Brötchen sehr saftig sind.

Freundliches Personal, sehr gute Küche, natürlich mit Schwerpunkt Fisch. Die Fischsoljanka war sehr schmackhaft, mit viel verschiedenen Fisch und Gemüse.

Tolle Lage am Ufer des Scharmützelsees. Sehr gut zubereitete Speisen, welche sehr gut geschmeckt haben. Abgerundet wird der Besuch durch das sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Personal. Also wer gut Fisch essen mag und auf schöne Aussicht steht, der sollte sich den Fischtopf in Bad Saarow nicht entgehen lassen.

Köstlicher, frischer Fisch, sehr freundlicher Service. Während unseres viertägigen Aufenthalts in der Gegend haben wir hier zweimal gegessen und hoffen, bald wiederzukommen. Vielen Dank für das leckere Essen!

Die Gerichte, die wir erhielten, waren sehr gut und vor allem sehr frisch. Die Bratkartoffeln waren nicht fettig und schön gebräunt. Die Matias-Sauce war sehr erfrischend. Es war ein Genuss. Vielen Dank.

Sehr leckeres Essen, aber der Kellner ist der Knaller! Ist genervt von ankommenden Gästen, empathiefrei und teilweise Kommando-Ton! Noch nie erlebt solch Service, die Kellnerin hingegen wiederum nett und freundlich!

Wir waren jetzt zum vierten Mal dort und das nicht umsonst! Es macht Spaß, es ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis, diese frische an Gerichten zu erleben! Für uns ist es das beste Fischrestaurant am Scharmützelsee! Weiter so!

Ein kleiner unauffälliger Geheimtipp. Von außen unscheinbar, aber Innen gibt es unfassbar gutes Essen mit zauberhafte Bedienung in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Vorallem im Winter sollte man reservieren, weil sonst eventuell zu ist, wenn keiner kommen sollte.

An absolute insider tip! A must-visit for anyone who's been here even once! Simple fare of unique, honest quality! Locally sourced fish is as fresh as if it were caught that very day! We're always thrilled! One drawback: the restaurant is closed on weekends and unfortunately closes as early as 8 pm. But the location right on the beautiful Scharmützelsee couldn't be better! Even the short walk from the harbor can build anticipation for the delicious food and the friendly, attentive service!

Delicious dishes, selected from a clear and concise menu. The service was attentive yet very friendly. And a fantastic location right on the lake. Modern and cozy... highly recommended overall. We will definitely be back. Best of luck for the future.

Arrogant waitress. The price/performance ratio was not right. I had a redfish fillet with fried potatoes and various carrots. A meal that wasn't worth ordering. Two small spoonfuls of cold carrots, two small fillets that were completely overseasoned. The whole meal was swimming in oil. When I complained about the temperature, they wanted to argue. No apology, nothing. It was a disaster.

The food was very good. The hamburger schnitzel, zander fillet, and black tiger prawns for two (though if you're a fan, you can manage the portion on your own 😜) were excellent. The waiter seemed a bit annoyed or lackluster at first. Nevertheless, he was very friendly, prompt, and professional 😊👍 The cappuccino was a delight, textbook.

A beautifully located restaurant with very friendly service. The food was delicious and plentiful. The view from the terrace is unbeatable. Naturally, when the weather is nice, the comfortably furnished interior is hardly used. The outdoor area could use some sprucing up.

Tip top. Great food, friendly service, good prices. If anything's missing here, it's the typical Brandenburg rudeness in the service when you don't know the menu by heart and have questions. Instead, we received friendly and welcoming service here and were delighted. The dessert (fish-shaped panna cotta with yuzu cream) was a highlight in every respect.

Hello, I had an incredibly relaxed and tasteful evening with my girlfriend. This is a place where you are completely taken care of in terms of both cuisine and service.

We were passing through and stopped here based on the good reviews. The location is perfect—directly overlooking Lake Scharmützelsee. The food was excellent. The four types of fish on the "Fine Fish Platter for Two" were all perfectly cooked; none of the fish was dry. The vegetables were also very tasty. The portion was generous; even the hungriest person should be satisfied. The service was prompt and friendly. Cashless payment is accepted. We were lucky and got one of the few parking spaces right next to the restaurant. But we saw more parking spaces a short distance away. The only thing that bothered us was that the opening hours on the website were listed as Mon-Fri from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., but there was a sign on site stating that they weren't opening until 5:00 p.m. today. Such ad hoc changes to opening hours should be communicated better. Therefore, I deducted one star.

Where can you get really good fish in Bad Saarow? I mean, at the Fischtopf! Simply SUPERB! We were here twice 5 years ago, and now again 2 days in a row! Four absolutely fantastic meals. The fish solyanka as a starter (simply a fantastically delicious fish soup) is an absolute MUST for me! Attractive interior, and outside (sometimes inside too) a beautiful view of the lake. Down-to-earth, nothing fancy!

A delicious fish sandwich with a very large, fresh piece of fish, a lettuce leaf, crispy pickle slices, and onion rings. A real treat! The atmosphere is cozy and clean, and the service was very friendly, quick, and accommodating to customer requests. Of course, other fish dishes are also available.

Pleasant location, beautiful view of the lake, spacious outdoor seating, and a lovely dining room. Lovingly and modernly presented plates, with genuinely honest dishes. Highly recommended for 🐟 eaters. For meat lovers, there's a wonderful steak.

Great location, right on Scharmützelsee. Limited number of parking spaces directly at the restaurant. The food comes quickly, is very tasty and the service is attentive, friendly and very accommodating. All in all, a nice place for a cozy meal.

Beautiful location by the lake, and the dishes were both visually and tastefully excellent. We chose wild garlic ravioli with asparagus and fried herring with fried potatoes. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Highly recommended. Daily recommendation was a poem. I haven't had such a good tuna steak in a long time. A really well-rounded meal. Service was very attentive and nice. Very pleasant atmosphere. Gladly again. Unfortunately you can't give 6 stars.

Hello everyone. We have known the fish pot in Bad Saarow for many years. We have had a variety of experiences here with regards to the quality of the food. The last experiences weren't the best. Now, after a long break (on a tip), we dared to do it again, what can we say, total enthusiasm. Creative cuisine, lovingly prepared, great quality of the products, a real treat in terms of taste. As a starter, the fish solyanke is a must for us. Opinions certainly differ when you see the price of €9. But given the products used in Soljanka, we think the price is absolutely justified. The range of food on offer is manageable, but rather small and tasty. On my first new attempt I tried the veal schnitzel. I didn't know yet. But a very good choice. The potato and cucumber salad served with it took some getting used to but tasted good. Tastes are just different. On the second visit we both decided on the tuna in a sesame coating, it was a dream, absolute gourmet cuisine for us. So conclusion: We are really very pleasantly impressed by the positive development in the fish pot. Keep it up and we'll be happy to come back

On a Monday in holiday-empty Bad Saarow, we still got decent food 50 minutes before closing time. And it tasted good. To explain: It's still hibernating here and everything around is closed or closes at 8 p.m. or earlier. Many thanks to the operators!

Too expensive. A normal fish sandwich is missing. Instead, getichte for 16 to 28 euros. Too bad. Sales would be higher by lowering prices....

Don't always just give bad reviews. We were guests there again at the beginning of 2025. After a 4 year break. Because we were no longer satisfied at all at that time. But the new reviews and also the new chef convinced us to give this restaurant another chance. We - 2 people. We decided on the venison with dumplings and red cabbage. Direct hit. Super tender game. Homemade red cabbage (was confirmed to us later). And a sauce to put in it. For dessert, a chocolate crème brulee. As I said. Wild, super tender. Homemade red cabbage and 100% homemade sauce. Simply a great dish from start to finish. My wife and I left with smiles. This was due, among other things, to the always wide-awake, friendly but not intrusive service. It's nice to see people who still do this job and with passion and conviction. We were basically the last guests and when we left the restaurant we got to meet the chef. A really likeable person who you can tell that he fully supports what he does there. Please stay exactly like that. It's just fun to eat there. P.S. We both got really full!!!

Small, cozy... delicious. A soup was just the thing after an autumnal walk around Scharmützelsee.

Kleine aber feine Karte. Der Fisch ( Steinbutt und Seeteufel) war auf den Punkt gebraten. Dazu gab es hervorragende Beilagen, weit weg von 0815 Bratkartoffeln. Das alles zu einem angemessenen Preis. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Ich habe mein lebtag noch nie so abweisend es und unfreundliches Personal erlebt. Bei der Bestellung wurde nicht ausreichend nachgefragt, welcher Zander gewünscht wurde und einfach der teurere gebracht und abgerechnet. Gut, wir haben allerdings beim Essen nicht darauf geachtet, dass der Salat gar nicht angerichtet war. Unser Fehler. Das Essen allerdings verdient mehr als die volle Punktzahl, es war hervorragend von der Zubereitung und geschmacklichen Abstimmung. Schade, dass das Personal so unhöflich war, sonst würde ich wieder hingehen. Liebe Grüße und danke an den Koch, er ist spitze.

The food was ok, but given the prices you could expect a little more. I ordered a mixed plate. Bakam I have two shrimps and two small pieces of fish with some vegetables. It was a little greasy and a little too much salt.

Hello, now for all those who are complaining here that there is not enough choice of fish... do you only read one page of the menu and ignore the offers on the boards that are not on the menu? I think there is more than enough choice of fish in the restaurant and you should not forget that it is only a small fish restaurant and not a large kitchen, which means smaller storage capacities. And with 11 types of fish there is enough available. It's better to be small and clear and that the quality is right. One must not forget that the more food there is, the more chance there is that the quality will suffer if there is too much on offer. I can only recommend the fish pot to anyone visiting Saarow. 5 stars + from me.

The fish restaurant is located on Scharmützelsee in the north, directly on the lake. Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't live up to its name, as the selection of fish is very limited. People are friendly and make an effort, but everything can be improved given the price level.

We ate there for the first time after many recommendations from friends. Anyone who likes pulpo or a delicious fish solyanka will be very satisfied. If you prefer fish fillet because you don't want bones, you might be a little disappointed with the selection. In a fish restaurant there should be more types of fish than just zander or salmon. You can also eat matjes, bismarck and fried herring at home. The dishes tasted good. The pike perch was fried crispy but unfortunately too dry. Nothing special for me personally.

Because it was so good yesterday, we made another reservation for tonight! The food was absolutely top class, the service was friendly and quick, the restaurant was modern and comfortably furnished.
