From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the breathtaking views. The hotel's location offers uninterrupted views of the beautiful countryside, which made every morning an unforgettable experience. No matter whether it was sunrise or sunset, the scenery was always spectacular. The hotel complex looks like something out of the most beautiful picture book - the white beauty, decorated in golden and beige tones. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Every detail was carefully taken care of and it was obvious that great emphasis is placed on hygiene and care. The linens were fresh, the bathrooms sparkled with cleanliness and even the smallest corners were sparkling clean. You immediately felt comfortable and welcome. In addition to the outstanding views and impeccable cleanliness, there were many other positive aspects that made our stay unforgettable. The friendly and helpful service is also particularly worth mentioning. The staff was always available and was available to give us advice and assistance, which made our stay even more pleasant. The area surrounding the hotel offered numerous leisure opportunities. Whether going for a walk, cycling or just relaxing – there was something for every taste in the beautiful spa. The breakfast or evening menu were fantastically delicious. Our stay at Villa Contessa was simply perfect. We can recommend them without reservation and are already looking forward to our next visit.

EVERYTHING is just right at Villa Contessa The eye doesn't know where to look first. The quality and harmony of the furnishings enchant you from the first minute. We particularly liked the warmth of the owners and staff. Water, drinks and coffee were available in the room at all times. The breakfast was very opulent and delicious. Dinner was a highlight. The whole hotel was tip top clean. The 800 km journey was worth it

I became aware of Villa Contessa through a friend's recommendation. I was looking for a quiet, exclusive place with direct access to nature and I have to say that I found it with this beautiful, small, extremely hospitable hotel. All of the employees here put their whole hearts into it and strive to make you feel comfortable and welcome as a guest. Everything was perfect, from the incredibly beautiful, light-flooded rooms with a view of Scharmützelsee, to the small but very nice and yet sufficiently equipped spa, to the exquisite, loving cuisine. The latter really blew me away! The dishes served are extremely sophisticated and creatively prepared and taste exceptional. Each dish was an incredibly delicious composition of perfectly complementary ingredients. Once again, big compliments to the kitchen and a big thank you to the always diligent service, which really goes out of its way to ensure that the guests feel completely looked after. Special requests were always addressed without hesitation. Even though you can stay in the villa all day (when the weather is nice, for example on the sun terrace or comfortably by the pool in the garden or in the spa area when the weather is bad), the place also has a lot to offer! On a sunny day, I grabbed a bike that the hotel provides to all guests and rode out into nature. You can easily cycle around the Scharmützelsee, and the small swimming areas that come your way invite you to cool off in the summer sun (I recommend a stop in the hidden “Lustgarten”). There are also many small forest routes that are good for hiking and relaxing. In summary, I am very happy to have found this beautiful, quiet place. Many thanks to the entire Villa Contessa team - I look forward to seeing you again!

You're immediately impressed by the location and the ambience, but upon closer inspection it's just good rather than excellent. The staff are polite and friendly, but not well trained enough to ensure service in a 5 star category.

We spent a weekend at Villa Contessa to celebrate a birthday. Overall we had a really wonderful time. The food was consistently great - we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. What was particularly positive was the attentive service. The staff was friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. Special praise goes to the reception: I forgot something in the room when I left. It was mailed to me the same day! Thank you very much for that. 🫶 We were completely impressed by Villa Contessa and we can hardly wait until our next visit! 😊☀️

We have rediscovered the magic of love at Villa Contessa! An unforgettable wedding anniversary, far away from children and everyday stress. Just one night, yet filled with endless relaxation in this paradise, which is a must for all Berliners looking for an oasis of peace. A place that Berlin cannot offer us. A big compliment to the staff, who act with the highest professionalism and dedication, as is rarely found in the hotel industry. Five stars? Absolutely deserved! We are already counting the days until we can visit this gem again.

We stayed at Villa Contessa for 3 nights for our wedding anniversary and were really looking forward to it. In summary, we can say that it is a really nice hotel, but there is clearly room for improvement in terms of service and the price/performance ratio is not quite right. At 5 stars superior! With the appropriate pricing policy you also expect the cherry on the cake, whereas in some cases it wasn't even enough to be the icing on the cake. What we liked: - the property itself, the room, the lake view, WiFi reception, spa area, pool, the quality of the food We booked a really nice room and weren't disappointed, but my husband couldn't sleep well during any of the nights because the mattress was very soft and the bedding rustled a lot, probably because of the mattress protector. It should be noted that there are few compartments in the closet for clothes. For people like us who always pack a little more or stay longer, this could cause problems. The spa area is attractively designed, the pool is at a pleasant temperature, and the saunas are optimal. We were impressed by the large selection of magazines. It would be nice if small snacks such as nuts etc. were still available, as is the case in other good hotels. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel every morning. The quality of the food is really good, we always enjoyed it very much - but whether this justifies the really steep prices, especially for breakfast, is questionable. We regularly stay in top hotels and can therefore make comparisons. What we didn't like so much: As warmly as we were greeted when we arrived, we were handled just as carelessly when we left - the car was parked for us when we arrived, but this was no longer offered when we left and we were only able to do so with great difficulty and only after actively asking at reception please drive another car out of the way and out of the parking space. One had the feeling that it was just a matter of paying the bill, which at €3100 for 3 days was already very generous, even though we didn't drink alcohol and hadn't booked any treatment in the spa. We asked the evening before departure when we had to check out and were told that this wouldn't be a problem until 12 p.m. as the room wouldn't be available again immediately afterwards. The next morning we had to wait 30 minutes despite having booked in advance in the evening. Waiting for our breakfast and the waiter at the reception pointed out that we should have checked out at 11 a.m.... we felt a bit silly, to put it nicely. The employees themselves are all friendly, but some are very inattentive. The restaurant was never fully occupied, but empty plates and glasses were not cleared from the table for a long time, even though people walked past them 10 times. Often only when we ask and that's not possible! The fact that we drink water at room temperature was also forgotten every time and we had to say it. Our request that housekeeping provide 4 bottles of water in our room every day was also forgotten. But what really "hit" us the most was the complete lack of any congratulations on our wedding anniversary, even though my husband had even ordered roses through the hotel and we mentioned the reason for the trip when we arrived. No card, no little token, not even a verbal congratulation. That should be possible in this category, given the prices, the small number of rooms and the great warmth!? But at least there were 2 plastic bottles of water and 2 apples for departure... We actually thought about coming back again, but for the money you get the “cherry” on top somewhere else and the service you are used to. Really a shame!

We recently stayed at this charming family boutique hotel and had an absolutely delightful experience. The food was excellent, with delicious options. Best cocktails ever! The service was top-notch, with a friendly and efficient staff that made us feel truly welcome. The beautiful views surrounding the hotel added an extra touch of magic to our stay, making it a truly memorable experience. The relaxing vibes throughout the property allowed us to unwind and fully enjoy our time away. I can't recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. Nice place to relax with good personal service. The only complaint we had was the prices for breakfast...we think that people who choose a place like this are willing to spend money and want to get the corresponding service in return. Let's take the hotel at Bl**** as a comparison. You pay a high price but the food is so good that it's a good thing. Maybe it would be an idea to offer a buffet.

An unethically run house. Read our experience and form your own opinion. The owner promises in writing a weekend with extras for guests and does not stick to promises. The result was incompetent, unfriendly, unreasonable and unethical behavior towards guests, knowing full well that a wedding depends on this. Our families were booked in for a small family event (wedding and ending with two families in the Villa Contesa house) and all the desired extras were agreed upon with the owner by phone and in writing. Corresponding confirmation and commitments to this have taken place. However, the owner no longer wanted to know anything about it and no longer wanted to fulfill the agreed services. He accused me (the bride) of having a wedding through the back door of his house (even though this matter had been discussed and approval had been given by the hotel management). As the conversation continued, he added that we were working too much for him would do (the telephone exchange was too much effort for 7000 EUR). The end result was that I reflected this to Mr. B. and he didn't like this criticism. He then announced that he no longer had a good feeling and was canceling the event. The management of the house has thus shown that what is advertised on the website is not being adhered to: “loving service that comes from the heart”. This was not a service, but rather inappropriate behavior, unpleasant conversations and indecent behavior towards the bride and groom and their families. Now I hope that guests also take note of this page and wish you a wonderful stay.

Immersing yourself in another world is what we had hoped for from our stay at Villa Contessa and that is exactly what we experienced. We really didn't miss anything here, everything has been thought of and the guest is king in every respect. Not only the family, who are now in their third generation fulfilling their own dream with the hotel, every employee is incredibly friendly and accommodating. We spent my wife's birthday here and with the bouquet of flowers she found on the breakfast table, the bar for future birthdays is now pretty high 🤭 From the very first phone call to the farewell, we enjoyed every moment and will definitely come back. It is a very familiar and friendly hotel with a level of professionalism that is otherwise only found in the best, larger hotels. So the perfect symbiosis for people with high standards who are still looking for a family and human environment. Located directly in nature, surrounded by greenery on the beautiful Scharmützelsee. We were guests again and felt completely at home again. Everything was very well maintained. The restaurant is also a highlight every evening! There’s quite a talent in this kitchen. We were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional preparations we were served, easily comparable to upper level Michelin restaurants. Very peaceful setting and fine service, too.

Ich war für 5 Tage in der Vilaa Contessa und habe dort eine Detox Kur gemacht. Vom Frühstück über Mittagessen, die Snacks am Nachmittag und das Abendessen war ich mehr als begeistert. Die Gerichte waren ausgewogen und reichlich in der Portion und super lecker! Ein großes Kompliment an die Küche und an alle Servicekräfte. Diese waren sehr aufmerksam und herzlich und taten alles damit ich mich wohl fühle.

An extremely delightful and charming hotel that I certainly won't visit for the last time. The culinary delights are a real treat for the palate and the service is exceptionally friendly. I just have one suggestion for improvement: the property is large - it would be nice to add a pavilion with a gym. Unfortunately, not all rooms have a coffee machine, it should generally be part of the basic equipment in this hotel class.

I spent 4 nights in the beautiful Villa Contessa with two good friends. We have stayed in some very nice hotels, but this one is very special for us. The room was very tastefully decorated and luxuriously furnished. The service was really excellent; the family atmosphere, the hospitality and the warmth of the entire team made you feel incredibly comfortable! The spa area was also fabulous (always perfectly clean and just super beautiful). The villa is located directly on the lake and therefore offers fantastic views that we already miss. A highlight for us was the delicious breakfast and, above all, the great evening menu in the Villa Contessa Restaurant - absolute recommendation, the service in the restaurant was also excellent! Thanks to the entire team, we will definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next stay! 5 stars are nowhere near enough to do justice to this magnificent hotel. Had the pleasure of spending a weekend in January here and can absolutely recommend this cosy, comfy and romantic hotel. This elegant village is just an hour away from Berlin and the hotel is definitely one of the most beautiful villas you will see there. We came here in the winter and were very much looking forward to warm up in the spa area, which also has an outdoor pool that’s heated and meant we could swim while it was snowing. The spa closes only at 22:00, so we had plenty of time for a dip after dinner. The hotel restaurant was great, which was lucky as there aren’t many options in the area for dinner otherwise. Everything was fresh and the kitchen was also happy to fulfill any special requests we had. But really, the best thing about this visit was the service. This is a family owned and operated hotel and everyone really went above and beyond to cater to our wishes. Lots of people work here and seem happy to be party of the team (loved watching them have team lunch at the restaurant!!). Although many are on the team, we felt almost alone and had a lovely intimate atmosphere for a romantic vacation.

Ich habe mit meinen Freundinnen ein unbeschreiblich schönes, angenehmes und luxeriöses Wochenende in der Villa verbracht. Von der ersten Minute an wurden alle Hebel in Bewegung gesetzt, um uns WIRKLICH JEDEN Wunsch zu erfüllen. Unser Wohlbefinden, Appetit und Entspannung wurden zu jeder Zeit gesichert. Das gesamte Anwesen ist ein wunderschönes Hotel, die Suite ein Traum, der Spa-Bereich unfassbar schön. Am Unglaublichsten war, dass einfach jedes einzelne Detail einfach so geschmackvoll und liebevoll war. Das Essen im Restaurant war auch eine tolle Überraschung und zur heutigen Zeit super dass es keinen großen Überfluss gab. Man wurde satt, war aber nie übermäßig voll. Die Menge war perfekt und sehr lecker. Es hat uns wirklich sehr gefallen. Es war eine Überwindung am Abreisetag aus dem Bademantel zu schlüpfen und in den Alltag zurückzukehren. Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch. Weiter so liebes Villa Contessa-Team.

Das Ambiente ist einfach zauberhaft. Sehr romantisch mit tollem Blick auf den See. Die Terrasse im Sommer ist absolut fantastisch. Die Weinauswahl ist sehr besonders, auch die Weinempfehlungen durch den Sommelier sehr stimmig. Das Essen ist exzellent. Für einen besonders genussvollen Abend zu zweit genau das Richtige.

Das Abendessen war ein perfekter Ausklang eines schönen Tages in dem ebenfalls hervorragenden Wellnessbereich der Villa Contessa.

Das Essen war von durchschnittlicher Qualität, dafür die Portionen sehr klein. Wir waren nach dem Dreigangmenü noch hungrig. Insgesamt bleibt es weit hinter den Erwartungen, die durch das tolle Ambiente geweckt werden zurück. Für das was es ist leider überteuert.
