It was ok, you get what you pay for. However, in this situation you would expect a little more. The service was very friendly.

Chic restaurant with an outdoor area and a view of the Baltic Sea. Food was very good and service was very satisfactory and entertaining. We will come here again on our next vacation.

We stopped in for dinner on September 4th, 2024. When I cautiously asked whether it was already open, I was met with an unfriendly answer: Yes, it had been open for 12 p.m. I had a pike perch fillet on a vegetable bed with tomato sauce and fried potatoes. The fried potatoes only greeted them briefly. No crust, very greasy just lukewarm. The pike perch fillet was dry. The vegetables were hot. My partner had a small pepperoni pizza. Unfortunately that wasn't successful either. We would like a taxi. One operator couldn't/wasn't allowed to do that, the other couldn't because she didn't have current taxi numbers. She asked us where we wanted to go and then she said it would only be 10 minutes. I think the waitress shouldn't care how close or far the guest's destination is. We didn't express our request for a taxi for anything else. We paid. There was no tip. We called the taxi we trusted.

Location on the promenade is very good, service and food leave a lot to be desired. You weren't able to order a taxi either.

Ordered the food at 7:19 p.m. Since we had to choose a delivery time, we took the next possible one... delivery should therefore take place at 8 p.m. Since there was still no food at 8:30 p.m., I called to ask when the order would arrive. I was told the driver was on the way and he should arrive soon. At 8:55 p.m.... the driver finally came. 55 minutes late! He immediately apologized that it took so long (the driver can't do anything about it). We sat down and finally started eating. What can I say, there were no spices in ALL the dishes. The meat... no salt, no nothing to it. The fried potatoes were ok. No salt on the vegetables again and not to mention the pasta... it couldn't be more lax. Really a shame. We have decided not to order there anymore. Wasted money for us.

Every pizzeria on the corner has better pizza. The ambience inside is more reminiscent of the Orient than of a pizzeria. Why the Italian colors are emblazoned outside is a mystery to me. The staff shouted insults at each other and customers were insulted in Turkish. The pizza didn't taste good and was very greasy. I've never experienced anything so horrible in a restaurant.

Please avoid!

Service was extremely unfriendly and just annoyed. The ambience is getting old, which isn't a bad thing in itself, but it's also just not clean and well maintained, which is what the kitchen looks like. The baby chair was totally disgusting and dirty and of course the waitress was annoyed and didn't want to clean it. I can't really rate the food because we left, but I have to hand out something. I recommend eating here.

The worst service I have ever experienced. The waitress was unfriendly when greeting us and that carried over completely. Someone must have missed their job. I would fire the older waitress with the best hair in a heartbeat. If I had read the movements beforehand, I would never have eaten here. Fries were almost burnt and not salted, burger buns were also banned and tasted insufficient. I can do it better even at home. I absolutely cannot recommend it.

Because of the diverse menu, we are pure. Inside an atmosphere like the 80s, that's what it smelled like too. At first the service was quite nice, but as the number of visitors increased, our waitress's mood got worse and worse. The other waitress didn't even have a quick smile on her face during our entire visit. The menus are sticky and feel like they're from the 80s. When the food came, it was a pleasant visual surprise. In terms of taste, however, it was only okay, spices are apparently not used in the kitchen, the Champion cream sauce apparently only consisted of the Champions from the jar, a handful of onions and cream. Really nothing in terms of taste. Even salt and pepper from the table couldn't really improve the food. Since leaving the restaurant, 3 of us 4 guests had diarrhea to top it off. We can only strongly advise against a visit to this restaurant!

From the looks of it, mother and daughter run the restaurant. Mother was visibly annoyed the whole time. No laughter, nothing. There were three tables occupied inside. There would be four of us there. Food came quickly. I had lasagne, the other 3 had meat with fried potatoes and mushroom cream sauce. The three of them had grumbling in their stomachs an hour after leaving the place, then they took turns using the toilet, which is one reason why we don't recommend the shop, you could almost have ignored the rest. At first the service was okay. When we wanted to pay the bill separately, i.e. always two people together, our eyes rolled and said loudly "ohhh, really now". Thanks...not like that!

The food was so well. Wishes not taken into account. Not particularly warm. The kitchen was totally overloaded.

We had something delivered twice and were told on the phone that it would take around 45 minutes, which we did. The food was really delicious and I would order something again at any time

On our first day we had very unfriendly service. The food was very tasty, the waiting time was okay, but due to the unfriendliness there was no tip and the waitress threw the rest of the money on the table and left. Since we liked it, we went back the next day, and it took a long time until we were welcomed and our food and drinks were taken. The waitress that day was a different and very friendly lady who also got a tip from us. I work in the catering industry myself and if you have a staff shortage then you should tell the guests that you are full and you won't be able to do it otherwise, instead of serving the guests in an annoyed manner, making mistakes and making them wait forever. The way the waitress talked to some guests is not acceptable, I know that it is often very difficult to remain friendly.

I have to say that the portion was quite large and the meat actually tasted good too. However, the fries were a bit soft. Unfortunately the salad was not fresh and very dry. The food came pretty quickly, but as a customer you noticed that the service was very hectic and unfriendly. One had the feeling that the division of labor was not well divided. One waitress was very hectic, the other was nice, but both always forgot to serve something. A waiter was in sweatpants and stood in front of the customers with the food for 2 minutes because he no longer knew who the food belonged to. So he gave the food to his colleague and said a little louder, "I have no idea who ordered it." This was also the case with the drink. Instead of bringing the drinks to the table himself (the waiter was already 5 m in front of the customers' table), he wanted his colleague to do this, but she refused. (no professional appearance and behavior) When paying we said that we would like to pay with cash, then the waitress arrived with the bill and the EC device. After we told the waitress this again, she rolled her eyes and made a negative comment. (She seemed very overwhelmed by the whole situation) all in all I have to say that the price-performance ratio of the food was okay, the rest was unfortunately third class.

Absolutely stressed service. Very unpleasant, I don't feel welcome here as a guest. At 7:30 p.m. on a Tuesday there will be a 55 minute wait for food. Leftover money was thrown on the table even though I always remained polite. Never again!

The food was okay, but you can get it like that in every snack bar. By chance we were able to take a look behind the premises and into the kitchen and after seeing it we will definitely not eat there again!

We were satisfied for many years, but unfortunately not anymore, the quality of the food has seriously deteriorated. I can recommend a fish plate or fish platter but everything else is mostly disappointing. Grill plate was fried to death, tortellini tasted like it had been warmed up again, pizza seemed like a frozen pizza. Conditions just run with a long face around it. We were definitely forgotten as we waited forever for the food and tables that were occupied after us got their food before us. Yes, there was a lot going on and yes, things can go wrong, we're all just human, but if you point it out in a friendly way, you should remain friendly and apologize and not roll your eyes. It's just very unpleasant when you have to wait so long with children. Men should be able to have mutual understanding. Sad because we were always happy before. 🤷‍♀️

Everything is kept very simple, the food is mediocre and reminiscent of a canteen. However, our service was very friendly and the prices were low. It's okay for those on a budget, we paid €20 more in the other restaurants, but you can taste it and see it too.

We really liked and enjoyed it the first time, so we went there a second time. We were told from the start that it could take up to an hour. It was okay, we are on vacation after all, but when four tables that arrived after us got their food earlier and we had been there for 1 1/5 hours, we unfortunately had to say something. We were told our food was on the plates and if we left now we would have to pay for everything…. We waited again and had to watch the waiters walk past our table three times again, we put €40 on the table for a non-alcoholic cocktail, two beers, a wine and a still water and left... It was our last evening and should be a nice final meal...thank you We won't be coming back!!!!

Very bad service, very long waiting time and the worst pasta ever.

We arrived and the glasses were still on the table. We were also initially ignored and had to get the menu ourselves. The condition was very rude and the food was very greasy. We were there relatively late (around 20 o'clock), almost 1.5 hours later we only have received our food. Then the height came but first... the music which is in The background was turned up so loud that you could no longer understand your own words. Absolutely unfriendly and on the When we asked for a bag (since we didn't finish all of the food), it was reluctantly "thrown" at us. After paying the change was given just slammed on the table. The only positive thing was the outlook Baltic Sea. Not recommendable!

The restaurant was very busy and unfortunately this was also the problem. The waitresses were very stressed and seemed a little uncoordinated. At the end, when we wanted to leave, there was significantly less going on and this was immediately apparent from the waitress (better mood and a smile on their faces). The meal was okay. No *-cuisine but I don't expect that in a restaurant like Feuerstein. Despite the great stress, even special requests were taken into account. All in all, we would eat there again.

Unfortunately the food is of very low quality. Pizza was completely watery and sticky, we citizens are from the freezer. Unfortunately, the service was also unfriendly and annoyed by everything, perhaps having had a bad day. Payment is only possible in cash or EC, no credit card or anything else is accepted.

Waited for over an hour even though the restaurant wasn't even half full. When we asked politely, we were told by the waitress, "It'll take a while, there's only one cook there." Ordered lactose-free spaghetti marinara according to the menu (which is also cooked without cream). When the plate arrived the sauce was strangely milky. When we asked and pointed out that there was an intolerance, we were approached rudely: "No idea. You should have said it!" It then turned out that there was cream in the sauce. Truly the worst and most disgraceful service we have ever experienced. The restaurant management tried, but still didn't say a word of apology. Incidentally, the vegetarian plate was bland and mostly not warm or not yet warm.

Very tasty and inexpensive pizza. The concept of a basic dough that you can top with whatever you want is fantastic and people like to use it. My salami pizza with extra toppings was very tasty and very filling. Only the pizza with seafood had a lot of olives on it and little seafood, hence the 4 stars. Otherwise highly recommended.

Very bad service and you have to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for your food. Disaster and the food is cold. Disappointing, don't keep it up.

The three of us ate there today. Very long waiting time... the food only arrived lukewarm. If there was a complaint about a meal, a replacement was provided. Unfortunately not much better. The positive thing was the view of the beautiful Baltic Sea.

1. My two children ordered hamburgers with an extra request (i.e. burgers only with ketchup without salad and without other sauces). Both burgers arrived with sauces so I had a complaint. When the 2 burgers were remade, 1 burger was wrong again so one of my children had to wait for the food again. That's not possible.... Luckily they made a small goodwill allowance on the bill (5€) the 2nd. The waitress was really nice and friendly, but that was also the positive thing about the restaurant

Unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was OK, but the service was extremely unfriendly. One member of staff was particularly rude and unprofessional, which greatly affected our visit. We didn't feel welcome and will definitely not be coming back. Delicious food at very reasonable prices. The service is also nice and the ambience is right, especially in the outdoor area. The pizzas are good and basically everything on the menu tastes good. There's a bit of finesse missing here and there, but we still enjoy going there regularly.

Nicely located on the water, but the prices are still quite reasonable. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the interior. The food isn't a highlight, but it was edible. However, the service was the height of unfriendliness. Out of 4 items ordered she brought 2 wrong ones. When asked about it (I was only able to complain about the first article because she had already run away in anger) you get hit on by her. Mind you for her own mistake! That was very unpleasant, but that wasn't the end of it, because when she asked to pay by card she almost jumped in our faces because she still had to get the reader. Of course we didn't say goodbye. It was a very unpleasant visit that is unparalleled in terms of service, in a negative sense.

Were in this restaurant for the first time. Unfortunately the staff wasn't very friendly, the pizza looked like a frozen pizza and my vegetable pan was very poorly made.

We were there on June 1st. eat there. I was happy because I knew Feuerstein from Lübeck. The food was delicious but what's not right is that the waitress complains to children that they should be quieter. Other guests were told the table was too small for four people. When my husband said that our table would soon be free and that the family could sit there, he was rudely reprimanded by the waitress and told us she would talk now. Unfortunately, that also cost her the tip. No more.

Yesterday June 1st, 24 we went there again...there is new staff...no good evening...drinks slammed on the table without comment...we didn't ask for food but only when we arrived after 30 minutes.the annoyed lady Unfortunately, we didn't have a good appetite either... or tasted it. Food one star because none of it worked unfortunately. The fries don't taste good at all, they're way too brown, fried potatoes are more like mushy potatoes floating in fat, sauces have no taste or are finished, sauces have no idea. Unfortunately, what used to be Feuerstein is now only the name. The food is almost inedible. Everything was somehow thrown together with no high-quality products. But at least the staff is friendly and you can't say anything about that. Sorry, I've written two bad reviews in my life so far, I'll actually leave it alone. But I'm writing this to point out that maybe something will be done about the quality there in the future.

Urinstein - What kind of shop is this?! An (actually) fresh mini salad, fries medium rare and a frozen schnitzel with ass crack pepper sauce. If you have a taste for 3-day-old, unwashed and sweaty tennis socks, you'll get your money's worth here. Such a person would say: “Schmackofatz!” Unfortunately, as someone with fully developed, normal taste buds, I can only say "kaggofatz"... The chef, on the other hand, unfortunately seems to be one of those people with mutated taste buds or he has never tasted his own food. In both cases you can't compare your pepper sauce with grandma's rear sight, because then it'll get really bad ;) I can understand that too. It's not acceptable that the smell of his homemade bucket sauce from the wholesaler makes you want to vomit. After all, he would have sold them “100” times today. I would be interested to know who of these 100 people has already stuck their finger down their throat in order to spend the night without diarrhea and nausea. But let’s be honest, the best thing was the salad. I don't even want to know what was actually in the beer...

We were there on two evenings while on vacation. It was super tasty. Nothing to complain about. We wanted to eat a starter, a main course and a dessert and then cocktails. When we asked for dessert and cocktails, the service was extremely unfriendly and almost annoyed. The cocktails with alcohol tasted like dish soap. There was no tip for that and you didn't get a proper farewell, but rather an unfriendly goodbye and go away. Otherwise really delicious, especially the pasta and steaks.

Since we were first assigned a table at the open door, even though the shop was almost empty, the boss was so unfriendly and the cook didn't fry either fish (dry) or meat (tough as leather and hard) to death and the salad also cost 12 .90 euros consisted of 95% iceberg lettuce and not even dressing was served with it, this rating is completely justified. The only positive thing to mention was the other waitress, who almost made you feel sorry for such a boss and was sent outside to clean the windows .

The food is amazing and affordable! Kudos to the kitchen!! We were there two consecutive days. The service is friendly and attentive. The rooms are anything but tastefully decorated, but the wonderful food makes up for it. We'd love to come back!

Ok, it's not a 5 star gourmet temple, but - the service is really friendly (not found everywhere these days) and attentive, we felt super comfortable - the food was good, tasted good and we were satisfied. Ordered via app, delivery should be there at 7:45 p.m. according to the app :) Food was with us about 5 minutes later! Pizza was hot and very well topped! Salad 🥗 was very good! I can't rate the ambience because it was delivered by car. We recommend. Can't understand the bad reviews...

It's okay, you can eat, but I don't think we'll come back again

Went there for a spontaneous meal, but the pizza didn't work at all. It tastes and looks like a margarita pizza from a discount store with a little extra topping on it. That has nothing to do with pizza. We definitely won't eat there again.

You immediately feel at home, the food was great and still hot (which you don't have often these days) and you were really full. The staff was very nice and asked every now and then if everything was OK and had a very nice conversation. There isn't much going on now, but the restaurant is well located on the promenade. In season you can also sit outside. If you are on vacation in Niendorf/Timmendorfer Strand or the surrounding area, you should definitely eat there. It is worth it ..

I can't completely understand the bad reviews. We got the menu quickly, drinks and food arrived with a short wait. The pizza has really rich toppings. The location on the beach is great - the only criticism is that Visa cards are not accepted.

We have been to Feuerstein many times and have never been disappointed. The food is really good and the service too. Particularly noteworthy, in addition to the good price-performance ratio, is the fact that you are still welcome there even at a late hour, which is not the case everywhere in Niendorf.

Wir hatten alle Pizza und die war sehr lecker.

Nach langer Zeit war ich wieder im Feuerstein. Die Karte war wie früher, es gab meine Stammpizza, die sehr lecker war. Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt.

Das Essen war so naja... Die Nuggets und Pommes der Kinder schmeckten nach altem Fett. Und sahen auch so. Das Zanderfilet von der Wochenempfehlung war tot gebraten. Die Garnelen waren komplett (gut!), jedoch nicht frisch und auch tot gebraten. Das Fleisch der Garnelen hat man kaum vom Panzer abbekommen. Der Service... Freundlich geht anders. Ambiente: Egal wie/wo man sitzt, man hat einen Fernseher (sie alle an sind) vor der Nase. Für Kinder also ungeeignet.

Pizza... na ja, der Boden war trocken und zäh, von knusprig keine Spur. War nicht so der Renner. Geliefert wurde aber pünktlich innerhalb der angegebenen 45 Minuten.

Endlich mal ein Gastronom der auf Qualität und Familienfreundliche Preise wert legt. Sehr gern wieder. Nudelpfanne top, Nackensteak super, Hamburger lecker, Nugget knusprig. Getränke auch für ein 2tes. Ok. Danke

Wir waren heute zu zweit am zweiten Urlaubstag dort, um es Mal auszuprobieren, da das Restaurant eine vielseitige Auswahl hat. Wir sind leider nur mäßig vom Restaurant begeistert, daher auch eher die mittlere Bewertung. Wir müssten etwas warten, bis uns eine Kellnerin bemerkte und uns die Karten gab (Restaurant war auch gut besucht, was die Wartezeit verständlich machte für uns) Als dann eine andere Kellnerin (Chefin?) kam, um die Bestellung aufzunehmen, sagte ich, das ich noch einen Moment bräuchte. Darauf sagt sie nur, das sie viel zu tun hätte und ich mich jetzt entscheiden sollte. Das fand ich schon sehr unfreundlich. Haben uns dann beide für eine Pizza entschieden, die kam auch recht schnell und heiß an. Die Pizza konnte man gut essen, war lecker. Preis war auch in Ordnung. Als wir zum Schluss dann zahlen wollten, hat sich die Kellnerin noch bei uns über ihre Arbeitskollegin aufgeregt, da sie so lange das Kartenlesegerät bei einem anderen Gast benutzt hatte und sie dadurch länger warten musste, obwohl wir ihr mehrfach gesagt hatten, das wir nicht mit Karte sonder in Bar bezahlen möchten. Essen und Ambiente war soweit insgesamt gut aber der Service dagegen leider nicht so toll, daher bleibt es beim einmalig Besuch.

Große Auswahl an Speisen, Qualität hat zum letzten Jahr, nachgelassen. In der Pennepfanne mit Rinderstreifen musste man das Fleisch suchen und der Geschmack war letztes Jahr deutlich besser.

Wir waren heute zu 4rt dort. 2 Erwachsene und zwei Kinder. Die Kellnerin war nicht wirklich sehr freundlich. Eher gestresst und genervt, was man auch am Umgang mit Speisen und Getränken gemerkt hat. Ich hatte mich Seher auf ein Bier gefreut aber es kam nur mit halber Krone und war recht Schal. Am Nachbartisch habe ich mitbekommen das ein Essen zurück ging da wohl was nicht gestimmt hat. Mich hat es nicht so sehr überzeugt. Bewerte es im mittleren Rahmen. Kann man mal hingehen aber wird bestimmt bei einem Mal bleiben. Ach als ein Straßenmusikant spielte welcher echt gut war und etwas von seiner Geschichte erzählte, Pflaumte die Kellnerin ihn an er soll nicht labern sondern Musik machen! Völlig unangemessen und brachte den selben Satz auch nochmal bei den Gästen.

Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt, die Pommes könnten etwas knackiger sein können. Die Chefin hat einen etwas strengen Ton, ist aber dennoch freundlich. Warten mussten wir nicht lange auf das Essen. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für den klebrigen Tisch (es besteht immerhin noch die Pflicht zur Desinfektion der Oberflächen in der Gastronomie), einen für die etwas zu unprofessionelle Bedienung der Gäste.

Location ist ok . Essen leider , sehr enttäuschend. Bratkartoffeln und Gemüse sind Fertigprodukte . Zwiebel waren statt gebraten nur leicht angedünstet . Gemüse war noch hart , nicht bissfest , hart !
