Despite asking, we were given incorrect information. The pizza wasn't Italian. The waitress was unfriendly and made fun of us with her colleagues because something went wrong with the card payment. Absolutely unprofessional.

We went there twice within a few days while on vacation. Everything was just perfect: super delicious food and a table fire, friendly service, and a view of the sea! We had tagliatelle with shrimp once, a tuna pizza, and various types of fish with Mediterranean vegetables. We've rarely eaten anything so delicious. We'd love to come back! Highly recommended!

Absolutely NOT a recommendation for this place. Rude and rude service, insects in the food, incorrectly sized drinks, and disrespectful treatment of the guests. The music was so loud that you couldn't have a conversation at all. You should save your money for this place.

Definitely not a recommendation. The second star is only for the friendly, memorized greeting. The pizzas were softer than the delivery service after a 15-minute drive. The pasta was tasty, but it was also extremely greasy. After the greeting, the staff became completely inattentive, which also led to us consuming less than planned. A complaint from the neighboring table was ignored... The location is very nice. The desserts looked very good at the next table. Perhaps this place is recommended for coffee and cake.

Inside, everything seems a bit "cheaper," and the acoustics are rather unpleasant. Most importantly, the food. Unfortunately, we have to say that the food is not recommended. It's a far cry from Italian food anyway. You can get better pizza these days at the bistro on the corner or in the supermarket. Unfortunately, they lack expertise with the dough and the cheese selection. This could easily be improved. The pasta came with a tasteless tomato cream sauce. Salt and spices were missing. Overall, the food was completely overpriced. When paying, we also shared our criticisms with the waiter (who was genuinely happy about the criticism—we wonder if anything will change, perhaps). Overall, I would advise against a visit.

You'll be disappointed the second time around, too. We ate at the Feuerstein restaurant twice. On both visits, we were served the wrong dishes. At first, they refused to admit they had made a mistake and sold us the rosemary potatoes that weren't served as "potatoes." Furthermore, the soup was much too hot, and the drinks were the wrong size. The waitress was so rude she tried to argue with us that we'd ordered the wrong thing. Absolutely not recommended.

Attention! If you want one of the advertised offers, you must explicitly state this before ordering. Also, only small drinks are included (neither of which is stated on the offer sign). The pizza looked and tasted suspiciously similar to the Dr. Oetker frozen pizza. The wait was long (about an hour), but it was also full. The server was nice. We won't do that again.

A very cozy restaurant that leaves nothing to be desired. The entire staff is very friendly and accommodating, always with a smile on their faces, and you can tell that if the guest is happy, they are happy too. The rest of the food also seemed very much like convenience foods. Overall, unfortunately, it's more show than substance: You're paying solely for the location on the beach promenade. Draußen sitzt man ganz nett, nichts Besonederes, aber wie in den Nachbarlokalen an der Strandpromenade. Drinnen ist keine schöne Atmosphäre und eine richtig unangenehme Akkustik. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen erlebten wir gemischt. Kinderspaghetti haben geschmeckt und die Nudeln mit Pilzsoße wurden als sehr lecker empfunden. Hähnchenschnitzel war groß, nicht besonders gut, auch nicht schlecht. Die angeblichen Rosmarinkartoffeln mit Grillgemüse dazu war eine kleine Portion sehr fettiges, etwas zu lange gegrilltes Gemüse mit sehr fettigen Kartoffeln gemischt, die nie mit Rosmarin in Berührung kamen. Fischpfanne und Fish & Chips waren ganz OK, Pommes echt gut. Preise für die Gegend normal aber dem Ambiente nicht angemessen zu hoch mit z.B. 23 € für ein Hähnchenschnitzel mit Pommes. Das Bier kam ungekühlt. Als wir dies der Bedienung sagten, kam ein Glas Eiswürfel ;-)

Friendly service, fast service, excellent food and large portions

I ordered a pizza for pickup over the phone. When I asked about the wait time, I was told "10 to 20 minutes." In fact, I had to wait a total of 41 minutes. The pizza itself was delicious – kudos to that! A few minutes' delay would have been perfectly fine for me, but more than double the advertised time is simply disappointing. When I asked the employee about the long wait, all I got was a curt "Sorry" – no real interest or consideration. It's a shame, because with a little more customer service, the impression could have been salvaged.

The Feuerstein Restaurant impressed us across the board. We received a very friendly welcome as soon as we entered – the entire staff is attentive, warm, and genuinely hospitable. You immediately feel at home. The food was excellent: fresh, flavorful, and lovingly prepared. We particularly want to highlight the balanced menu, which offers both classic and creatively interpreted dishes. Everything we tried was of high quality and very well-seasoned. A real highlight is, of course, the location – right on the water, overlooking the Baltic Sea. Whether outside on the terrace or inside with a sea view: the ambiance is dreamy and invites you to linger. The Feuerstein's prices are also absolutely fair. The portions are generous, the quality is right, and the value for money is truly excellent. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend the Feuerstein Restaurant. A place to enjoy, relax, and simply feel good.

Wir haben gestern ein tolles Abendessen im Restaurant Feuerstein genossen. Wir saßen bei Sonnenschein auf der Terrasse. Das Restaurant ist komplett renoviert und wird liebevoll von dem neuen Besitzer geführt. Wir wurden super nett von dem Besitzer begrüßt und seine Angestellten kümmern sich sehr aufmerksam um die Gäste. Es herrscht eine liebevolle und familiäre Stimmung. Wir sind mit einem köstlichen Aperol ( Mischung war perfekt) und dem gemischten, sehr leckeren Vorspeisenteller gestartet. Danach gab es einen geschmackvollen Grauburgunder und Wasser. Wir hatten uns beim Hauptgang für die sehr leckere Fischpfanne und die geschmackvolle Pasta mit Filetstreifen entschieden. Zum Nachtisch gab es den köstlichen warmen Schokokuchen. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis hat uns überzeugt und von dem Feuersteinteam sind wir begeistert. Macht weiter so❣️Wir kommen bald wieder❣️Ganz liebe Grüße

I had spinach pizza and pizza rolls with "garlic dip" (to me this tasted from Bavaria, like garlic remoulade, which I only know from the Baltic Sea) Absolutely recommended both! The pizza had a lot of toppings, including a lot of cheese. Very exemplary! In the women's toilet there was hairspray, tampons and other utensils for guests. Every restaurant should do this. I'm thrilled!

Unfortunately, one star is already too many for tonight... but first things first: We got a table quickly, but it took 20 minutes before we could place an order. Finally we ordered 2 Lillet Wild Berry, 1x pasta with shrimps and a hamburger without fries. After about 20 more minutes our drinks finally arrived. We had to look for the berries in it (there were exactly 1 raspberry, 1 blueberry and a strawberry). The ladies at the next table also had 2 Lillet and their glass was overflowing with berries. Well, we were happy to have gotten anything at all... Now the observation of the completely chaotic, uncoordinated activities of the workforce began. The waitresses didn't know which drinks belonged to which table. Food did not go to the same table at the same time, but children had to wait and watch their parents get their food. Simply no table around us left the restaurant satisfied. The quality of the food was probably good, but the waiting time for it was 45 minutes or more. We then waited another 30-45 minutes for the bill. So we were able to observe it at all the tables in close proximity. In response to many questions about where the food was, the staff were not at a loss for excuses: "The pizza dough was empty and had to be made again" to "due to the incident at the port today, our colleagues from the delivery service simply didn't come" (what this has to do with the kitchen is not explained to us) to "we are one less person in the kitchen today". Ultimately, after waiting another 1.5 hours, we canceled our food after being told that it would easily take another 10-15 minutes. Our Pasta & Burger has absolutely nothing to do with pizza dough that supposedly has gone out. The same picture was everywhere around us: no matter what was ordered, people waited for hours for their food and were all in a bad mood at the end. It's a shame that after this lull we weren't even given a waiver for at least one of our drinks. That wouldn't have replaced the food, but at least it would have calmed the mood a little. Conclusion: The restaurant was taken over by a new owner in November. Today was the first day of seasonal tourism and you could already feel the massive increase in the number of tourists in Niendorf during the day. The team is definitely not up to it. After the season the store will be run down unless something massive changes here. It's a shame - it was the last evening of our vacation for us. Which ended up in the kebab shop because at 9:30 p.m. all the other restaurants had already closed their kitchens. The reaction of the waiter at the Feuerstein when it was pointed out that the vacation now ends in the kebab shop was “Yes, also an experience.” - That's just cheeky! He had apologized beforehand and assured that tonight would be an exception. But such a reaction is simply inappropriate. Tip: You should either close half of the terrace if you can't manage it or limit the delivery business. The way things are going today, you can't keep any guests and you can't keep the good reviews that the store got from the previous owner.

Had schnitzel twice with fries and a sauce. The schnitzel and fries tasted good, but the sauce was much too thin. This could be described more as a soup😅 The waiter made it a few euros easier for us than described, €73 for two schnitzels with fries, a large beer and a coke. Unfortunately we checked too late... Definitely not a recommendation!!!

We were on holiday in Niendorf a few years ago and tried the food at Feuerstein, and it was good. Now we are back here and the children really wanted to go there again. What was good then is perfect today: As soon as we walked through the door, one of the many attentive and friendly employees came up to us and seated us at a very nice table by the window, as requested. After we have settled down comfortably, the menu arrives and the drinks are taken. The drinks arrive quickly and the food is consumed. Requests for changes and questions, especially regarding portions and ingredients due to allergies, are answered patiently and reliably. The food comes quickly and the menu didn't promise too much. It tastes good and when the boss waiter sees that the children have left the crust on the pizza, he comes to the table and asks if they would like a dip for the crust. Simply great Price-performance ratio a 9/10 (one point if at all deducted for the fact that the prices of the pizzas are stated but not the size) Service 10/10 Attention 10/10 Feuerstein on Timmendorfer Strand in Niendorf is definitely ideal for families with children, but also for couples and, thanks to the clever seating layout, even for evenings alone. The view and the pictures speak for themselves!!! PS: You can also have it delivered or picked up. We did it a day later, called to order, were there at the agreed time and also received a 10% pickup discount.

I'm generally thrilled when there are hygiene products in the toilets in a restaurant. Then the food was good too! The espresso was great. But most of all the service was great. At each table the manager said, “What can I get you, my dears?” And that alone made my visit worth 5 stars. Others may see it differently, but it's just nice when people treat other people kindly, politely and patiently.

I tried a cheeseburger at this restaurant today, but unfortunately it was way below my expectations. The burger bun was stale and fell apart while eating, which made the whole thing very inconvenient. The taste of the meat was also below average and didn't convince me at all. Also, the fries are not served with the burger - you have to order them separately. The only positive thing was that the fries were really tasty, but that couldn't save the overall impression. I definitely won't visit this restaurant again.
