We received a very friendly and courteous welcome and were seated immediately. The menu is good, with something for everyone. The staff is very attentive and incredibly nice. The food was delicious and the price was reasonable. We would definitely recommend it.

I wanted to eat at Feuerstein again, as I really liked the restaurant in Timmendorfer Strand (which is sadly no longer there). The Niendorf location was just as delicious and wonderful. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop here for a meal.

Very friendly service. Top quality food. We had fish and chips, a delicious pasta with shrimp, a baked potato with strips of beef, and a Holstein schnitzel. We were all more than delighted.

We'll definitely be back! 😀 Today (November 4, 2025) we ate at Feuerstein again and were once more very satisfied. Murat was a courteous and attentive host. The food (spinach pizza and chicken burger with fries) was delicious. The portions were generous. We're looking forward to our next vacation. We'll gladly visit Feuerstein again then! 😊

Rude and arrogant service!!! They should be truly ashamed of themselves! You have to plan on waiting a good hour for the food... Prices are a bit inflated, but just about acceptable. The menu is very simple, with little refinement or flexibility; the food is okay...when it comes out right. But we definitely won't be going back!

We had to wait 2.5 hours for our order. The promised time was 45 to 60 minutes. We asked several times when the food would arrive. They always said it would be in 10 minutes. The 10 minutes turned out to be longer than an hour. Never again Feuerstein...

I've rarely had such a bad meal. I waited 40 minutes for the food, even though I had pre-ordered it at a specific time and even asked for it again. When it was ready, it was placed behind me without a word. No apology, nothing. The extra ingredients I'd ordered were missing, and the pizza, which cost almost €20 with two extra ingredients, was more like a bad snack bar in terms of quality. Cold, rubbery crust, ingredients you had to hunt for, and a tasteless, thick layer of rubbery cheese on top. Sour cream that successfully tasted of nothing, and nachos topped with the same tasteless, rubbery cheese that was on the pizza. Here, too, the extra ingredient was missing, and you had to try to tear each of the cold and sticky nachos away from a large lump. The female employee behind the counter was the only positively friendly bright spot there. The male server just rattled off a pleasant sentence to all the guests and was rather unpleasantly arrogant afterward. Actually, I usually only leave reviews on Google if I have something good to say, but I'll make an exception here. I will definitely never eat here again.

We won't go back here. Fries with burgers cost extra and weren't even asked about. The burger was extremely dry, and the water was €8?! Better to go somewhere else, as the wait for food is also really long.

There were two of us and we were seated immediately without a reservation. At first, it seemed friendly and inviting. Then we ordered our food and were disappointed with the value for money. Our food also arrived before our drinks. Overall, the place felt very hectic and uncomfortable. After asking the waiter if everything was okay and we criticized him, the first argument broke out. When we wanted to pay at the counter, the waiter started arguing again. We felt uncomfortable and cannot recommend this place at all. The owners are quite self-absorbed and don't accept criticism. We were also immediately asked where we were from and had to explain ourselves. I would never eat there again. Not recommended!

We got a table in the restaurant right away, but we had to wait a very long time for our food. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident; other guests also had to endure long waits. Furthermore, without asking, only large drinks were served, even though a smaller size is listed on the regular menu. The food itself was delicious, but there was a bit too much cheese on the pizza for us.

Extreme wait times of two hours for three people. The pizzas taste good, but the chicken wings are barely better than frozen food. Other guests received incorrect orders and complained of stomach aches. As compensation for the inconvenience, they offered only a 10% discount and not even an apology.

We ordered for delivery. The order arrived on time. The delivery person was very friendly. Unfortunately, things didn't go smoothly during delivery; most of the toppings on the pizza fell off (see picture). On top of that, parts of the pizza were already very soft. That was a bit of a shame, because it usually tasted really good. But that shouldn't have happened. Especially since the pizza was already expensive at €15.70 (ham and mushrooms). The Caesar salad we ordered was delicious, but it lacked croutons and the meat was quite overseasoned, which somewhat affected the overall taste. The tiramisu we ordered was very tasty. Overall, 4 stars is still okay, as the food was by no means bad, but unfortunately, a few things weren't quite right. Too many for 5 stars, though, and too good for 3 stars.

Not recommended at all... I was served by one of the managers there, and they were very rude and unaccommodating. They also reprimanded other employees in the middle of the restaurant. The food is a typical tourist trap.

We were greeted with a friendly smile, and our dog was also warmly welcomed. "Dogs are family and therefore very welcome here." We had cheeseburgers, fries, and a Feuerstein salad. The dishes were lovingly prepared and tasted absolutely delicious. We come from a wine-growing region and were thrilled with the wine selection. We particularly liked the Dornfelder from Rheinhessen. Since our table was by the door and cold autumn air wafted in as new guests entered, I was very happy to have a blanket for my legs. Conclusion: On our next vacation to Timmendorfer Strand, the Feuerstein restaurant will be back on our culinary highlight list. October 5, 2025

The Feuerstein was undergoing a renovation. This was our first time back at the new Feuerstein since the renovation. Everything has changed since then: a new menu, a new team, and new prices, too. The food was very good! Unfortunately, after the menu was brought, it took a long time to order. Even after asking if we'd been forgotten, it took quite a while.

The new owners have completely renovated, furnished, and transformed the restaurant, including a fantastic children's play area. Great service, excellent food quality, everything top-notch!

We ate there three times. Really delicious. The baked noodles and salmon with vegetables are highly recommended. The cocktail was delicious. My children were welcome. There's a play area. At the end, there were lollipops for the kids. One of my children didn't like the waffles with ice cream. But everyone has different tastes. My son even got a car as a gift from the play area. I wanted to buy it because he really wanted it. But the owner just gave it to him. :) Everything was clean. Great atmosphere. Nice waitress. Highly recommended hot dishes.

Two of us came here for dinner. It was very busy, and the noise level was accordingly high. We also waited a long time for our food. The service was very friendly and attentive. You're greeted warmly as soon as you enter the restaurant. But the entire atmosphere and ambiance seemed very cold and uncomfortable. But the food was good.

Before the reopening this year, we were regulars at the old Feuerstein for over 20 years during our regular stays in Niendorf or Timmendorf. We've been there with all the moves. Under the previous owners, the Feuerstein had a unique selling point in the region. You could eat there with the whole family. There was something for every taste, especially for children. And the prices were in the lower range, which was particularly convenient for families. The casseroles differed in flavor. Now, it seems, they use the same tomato cream sauce and the same pasta for every casserole. This makes the different casseroles taste very similar. They taste good, but there's no longer any noticeable difference. Furthermore, the prices have been raised significantly. Here, the schnitzel with hunter's sauce for €30 is a real eye-catcher. The new owners, who also help with service, are very friendly and attentive. And the renovations also make the premises appear more chic and modern. But the unique selling point of good, plentiful, varied, and affordable food is unfortunately gone. The prices and menu options have been adjusted to match those of other restaurants in the region. What a shame.

We went there twice within a few days while on vacation. Everything was just perfect: super delicious food and a table fire, friendly service, and a view of the sea! We had tagliatelle with shrimp once, a tuna pizza, and various types of fish with Mediterranean vegetables. We've rarely eaten anything so delicious. We'd love to come back! Highly recommended!

Definitely not a recommendation. The second star is only for the friendly, memorized greeting. The pizzas were softer than the delivery service after a 15-minute drive. The pasta was tasty, but it was also extremely greasy. After the greeting, the staff became completely inattentive, which also led to us consuming less than planned. A complaint from the neighboring table was ignored... The location is very nice. The desserts looked very good at the next table. Perhaps this place is recommended for coffee and cake.

People approached us on the street and promised we were the best restaurant on the Baltic Sea. Well, it was just big talk, but nothing behind it. We ordered two bottles of water and four glasses. One came with two glasses. We ordered another bottle and two glasses. The glasses came, but the water didn't, but it was on the bill. The food wasn't great. The pizza was supposedly from the stone oven, but it wasn't cooked properly. We had to wait over 20 minutes for the bill. Other customers who wanted to pay after us were ahead of us. Absolutely not recommended, except for the location. Never again for us.

We highly recommend the Feuerstein restaurant.

You'll be disappointed the second time around, too. We ate at the Feuerstein restaurant twice. On both visits, we were served the wrong dishes. At first, they refused to admit they had made a mistake and sold us the rosemary potatoes that weren't served as "potatoes." Furthermore, the soup was much too hot, and the drinks were the wrong size. The waitress was so rude she tried to argue with us that we'd ordered the wrong thing. Absolutely not recommended.

Attention! If you want one of the advertised offers, you must explicitly state this before ordering. Also, only small drinks are included (neither of which is stated on the offer sign). The pizza looked and tasted suspiciously similar to the Dr. Oetker frozen pizza. The wait was long (about an hour), but it was also full. The server was nice. We won't do that again.

The rest of the food also seemed very much like convenience foods. Overall, unfortunately, it's more show than substance: You're paying solely for the location on the beach promenade. This has absolutely nothing to do with authentic Italian cuisine. A classic tourist trap – once and never again.

Draußen sitzt man ganz nett, nichts Besonederes, aber wie in den Nachbarlokalen an der Strandpromenade. Drinnen ist keine schöne Atmosphäre und eine richtig unangenehme Akkustik. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen erlebten wir gemischt. Kinderspaghetti haben geschmeckt und die Nudeln mit Pilzsoße wurden als sehr lecker empfunden. Hähnchenschnitzel war groß, nicht besonders gut, auch nicht schlecht. Die angeblichen Rosmarinkartoffeln mit Grillgemüse dazu war eine kleine Portion sehr fettiges, etwas zu lange gegrilltes Gemüse mit sehr fettigen Kartoffeln gemischt, die nie mit Rosmarin in Berührung kamen. Fischpfanne und Fish & Chips waren ganz OK, Pommes echt gut. Preise für die Gegend normal aber dem Ambiente nicht angemessen zu hoch mit z.B. 23 € für ein Hähnchenschnitzel mit Pommes. Das Bier kam ungekühlt. Als wir dies der Bedienung sagten, kam ein Glas Eiswürfel ;-)

Friendly service, fast service, excellent food and large portions

I ordered a pizza for pickup over the phone. When I asked about the wait time, I was told "10 to 20 minutes." In fact, I had to wait a total of 41 minutes. The pizza itself was delicious – kudos to that! A few minutes' delay would have been perfectly fine for me, but more than double the advertised time is simply disappointing. When I asked the employee about the long wait, all I got was a curt "Sorry" – no real interest or consideration. It's a shame, because with a little more customer service, the impression could have been salvaged.

The Feuerstein Restaurant impressed us across the board. We received a very friendly welcome as soon as we entered – the entire staff is attentive, warm, and genuinely hospitable. You immediately feel at home. The food was excellent: fresh, flavorful, and lovingly prepared. We particularly want to highlight the balanced menu, which offers both classic and creatively interpreted dishes. Everything we tried was of high quality and very well-seasoned. A real highlight is, of course, the location – right on the water, overlooking the Baltic Sea. Whether outside on the terrace or inside with a sea view: the ambiance is dreamy and invites you to linger. The Feuerstein's prices are also absolutely fair. The portions are generous, the quality is right, and the value for money is truly excellent. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend the Feuerstein Restaurant. A place to enjoy, relax, and simply feel good.

Great delivery service! I order from Feuerstein regularly – the gyros are top-notch, the burgers are juicy, and the pizza is always hot and crispy. Large portions, fair prices, and fast delivery. Always reliable and delicious – highly recommended!
