The dessert selection was excellent, but the chocolate cake was overly sweet—reducing the sugar content would be ideal.

Great spot. Went for lunch, and despite not knowing much German and the lunch menu being entirely in German, the server was nice enough to describe in English what each dish was. The food was good and I loved the feel of the restaurant

Comida perfecta en un encantador restaurante acogedor! Preciosa comida , vino , ambiente y alrededores . Queríamos cocina alemana y no nos decepcionó. Sopa del día y queso caliente de cabra para empezar , schnitzel de cerdo y filete de lubina para principal. Delicioso! El restaurante era auténtico, el camarero era alemán y sólo hablamos inglés, pero llegamos allí! Servicio amable y atento - ¡super! Gracias chicos.

We walked that way because of the positive reviews. At first we wondered where we had ended up, but all the reviews are correct! What a great restaurant!! Good menu, good atmosphere and great food! But perhaps even better: what enthusiasm among the staff! They know how to give you a fantastic evening 👍😃! Compliments!! So our advice is very simple: you have to go there for a beautiful and pleasant evening! Then just get away from all the hustle and bustle 😊!

Goede kaart, goede sfeer en geweldig eten! Maar misschien nog wel beter: wat een enthousiasme bij het personeel! Zij weten hoe ze je een fantastische avond kunnen bezorgen 👍😃! Complimenten!! We ordered a Christmas dinner to go during Corona. I have rarely experienced anything so unfriendly and presumptuous as this, even in Berlin. Maybe it was due to the overall situation, but since then we just haven't felt like going back again. There are enough pleasant alternatives to happiness.

Pleasantly refined variants of regional feel-good cuisine, at a consistently high level for years. The Wiener Schnitzel is one of the best in the city, better than in Borchardt.

First-class and delicious meals at reasonable prices in a very cozy atmosphere with outstanding and very friendly service! The dining room is somewhat hidden and not on such a prominent street as Chausseestrasse or Torstrasse. But for me it is one of the best German restaurants in the whole of Berlin Mitte and beyond. Absolutely recommended!

Very cozy location with a super nice waitress and great food. I found the disadvantage that there was no special knife or pepper mill for the steak. Otherwise it was a successful evening with delicious and well-decorated dishes.

Food is decent but not cheap either. If you want to sit outside, you unfortunately sit right on the street. Luckily it's not a main road, but it was still a bit annoying for us. Staff was friendly and very attentive.

I don't welcome guests at 9:30 p.m., even though the opening hours are until 11 p.m., which I find very annoying. We weren't even asked if we wanted something else or just something to drink. No solution was sought, poor service when no guests were even welcomed.

Very nice lunch here. Local place, casual but refined, with modern German food. We had the wiener schnitzel, white asparagus and the salad, and everything was well cooked and delicious. Friendly unhurried service, and a light airy space.

My partner and I had an excellent meal here. We were visiting Berlin for a city break and wanted to try some authentic German cuisine. I had the Wiener Schnitzel and my partner had the Fried veal liver “Berlin style”. Very generous portions and really delicious. Service was impeccable. There were lots of locals dining when we were there, so this is always a good sign! Would highly recommend.

In our short stay in Berlin we went twice to this restaurant. The food and the service are absolutely excellent. It's rare to find food of such a standard. We also enjoyed the relaxed, homely atmosphere. It seems very popular and well used by locals, which tends to be the mark of a good restaurant. We would highly recommend.

Ein sehr unfreundliches Personal. Das Essen hat gerade mal den Hunger gestillt. War mein erster und letzter Besuch! Bei solchen Preisen kann man etwas mehr Freundlichkeit erwarten.

Very unfriendly staff. They didn't respond to the requests, tomato soup was served without bread and was soggy if you wanted bread with it, the statement bread costs extra. And after the meal, the waiter or owner hissed unkindly at the guests in front of the restaurant to leave the entrance. Very unfriendly interaction with guests who dined for more than 50 people. Never again.

An absolutely recommended restaurant.

I think this restaurant definitely meets high standards, in a pleasantly casual and very friendly atmosphere. The flavor of the fish, for example, was wonderfully brought out, the risotto was very aromatic and wonderfully creamy with a little cheese, and even "simple" ingredients such as salsify or fried potatoes were beautifully crafted. We found the prices absolutely reasonable. Full recommendation!

Ich habe mit drei Geschäftsfreunden zum ersten Mal das "Esszimmer" besucht und wir sind alle sehr positiv an diesem Abend beeindruckt worden. Das Restaurant ist nicht zu groß und nicht zu dicht möbliert und das Ambiente wirkt klar und dennoch gemütlich. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und das Essen war sehr gut. Trotz vollbesetztem Haus war das Timing für den Service absolut angemessen. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Worst service experience since coming to Berlin. Although the restaurant looks exquisite, the black waitress has an arrogant and indifferent attitude. When the customers sit down and have not decided on the menu, they "reward" them with a very contrasting look. Is the vulgar and xenophobic atmosphere a reflection of the current situation in Germany?

This was very close to a 5 star experience, and they deserve recognition for everything they did. The waiters, especially our main waiter, were attentive, funny and professional. The food was amazing, especially the dumplings (truly a 5 star taste journey). The place is Contemporary modern, which is perhaps a tad out of style with the wonderful German food, But, if nothing else, I will be back for the dumplings. Great work guys!
