Fantastic little restaurant that specialises in Swabian maultschen (dumplings). Seems to be owned and run by one guy. Really friendly and it wasn't too busy when I arrived so had a choice of seating. Food was fantastic and the beer was also a delight. Very reasonably priced for large portions. Highly recommended.

Really good, homemade Maultaschen (swabian dumplings), top-notch potato salad, and a super friendly host. Everything was perfect. I certainly won't be the last time I'm there! And the Swabians don't even have to dig deep into their pockets...

Heavenly potato salad and legendary Maultaschen

Very tasty. Good prices. A one- or two-person operation. Advance reservations are recommended. Limited number of tables. But that's fitting, considering this isn't a mass-production operation. My daughter and I were thrilled.

I absolutely recommend this place! The owner is super friendly, the Maultaschen are delicious, and they cater to special requests. I'll be sure to come back next time I'm in Berlin!

Simple restaurant with incredibly tasty Maultaschen if you feel like it. S-Bahn and U-Bahn Yorkstr. In sight, but also from U2 Bülowstr. not really far. The wine and beer selection, service and prices are just right. We'll definitely be back!

The food itself was actually quite tasty to be honest. That's not the reason for the review. And after about 40 minutes they said that we should please walk slowly, which I honestly can't understand because it was 9:10 p.m. at the time. I just think it's pretty bold... we weren't even there for an hour.

As an exile from Baden with a Swabian permanent visa, I am thrilled. Finally typical Swabian salad like from my Esslingen godmother. The Maultaschen are awesome! My tip: swap the potato salad with the BEST SPAETZLE in the city, take a tupperware bowl with you for the leftovers and if you want to come after 6 p.m. you should make a reservation. If you can, you can also chat with the host (not a student waitress, but the boss - a Swabian of course) in your native language. A highlight for authentic Swabian cuisine that doesn't need Instahype and Turifusion.

Very tasty Maultaschen. Price performance fits. The guest room. It's quite loud due to the many smooth surfaces. The owner was alone in the kitchen and service today. Great performance that it works so well. You should reserve in advance between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Very tasty Maultaschen in a generous portion - Swabian/Baden

Limited food options, but what they do, they do well. Good quality food for a very reasonable price.

We were there on a Thursday evening (as a couple, indoors) and were completely satisfied. We ate classic Maultaschen and a variation of vegetarian Maultaschen (€14.90 each). The classic Maultaschen were well seasoned and the meat taste did not dominate. The vegetarian Maultaschen (spinach, dried tomatoes) were just as deliciously filled and delicately seasoned. The dough was great and everything was very fresh. Then the melted onions that were fried. The crunch made the whole thing exciting, but the onion flavor was somewhat lost through frying - I personally prefer braised onions. There was also a very tasty potato salad - the potatoes were very fine and still a bit firm to the bite; strong, creamy dressing with a pleasant vinegar note; no bacon - that's how it has to be! Then add a crisp green salad (iceberg-free zone - always a plus! 😉). To drink we ordered two freshly tapped pine cones. We were served very quickly and very friendly. We felt very welcome - thank you very much! Conclusion: This was really well crafted. The Maultaschen are delicious and worth a visit. The ambience could be improved a bit for our taste; the guest room could be more comfortable (although the wooden coffered ceiling had a really great charm). Overall we were very satisfied. In the summer we like to come back for a spot outside in the sun 😉

Rude, no respect and really bad energy are unfortunetly the words I have to give for the Owner which many times works alone...completly alone...(I belive it´s not easy to work there)... The food it´s tasty...but it´s not the only tasty place in Berlin so it is definitely not worthy to eat food from a person like this...

大きな餃子みたいなものを頼みましたが店員雰囲気良く、3品で2品を迷っていましたが店の人が気づいて2品の注文で3品の味が楽しめるよう提案してくれ全てを楽しむことが出来ました。リーズナブルでサイドにサラダもついてありとても美味しく雰囲気のいい店でした。

Un plus pour la gastronomie berlinoise. Les raviolis sont savoureux, accompagnés d'une salade goûteuse. Les prix sont tout à fait raisonnables. De plus, l'accueil est vraiment très sympathique. A recommandé pour changer de la currywurst !

Essen ist ok, wie in einer Kantine wird leider nur alles warm gemacht. Der Chef aka Kellner raucht gerne in der oberen Küche und leider wäscht er sich selten die Hände. Sein Umgangston gegenüber Gästen und Mitarbeitern ist auch manchmal unterstes Niveau. Die Atmosphäre erinnert an ein Bahnhofshalle, schmudelig sieht es auch überall aus und die Toiletten katastrophe, das Mobiliar mega ungemütlich. Ich geh nicht mehr dort essen !

Die klassischen Maultaschen waren sehr lecker, besonders in Kombination mit den Röstzwiebeln. Auch der Kartoffelsalat war so, wie er sein muss: lauwarm und schlotzig.

Warum nur vier Sterne? Weil der Service etwas "speziell" ist. Für die Vielfalt an Maultaschen und die diversen Beilagen gibt es aber die volle Punktzahl - allein der Kartoffelsalat verdient das Prädikat "Weltklasse". Wenn die Schwaben ihre Arroganz etwas zurücknehmen (das nervt schon massiv genug im Prenzlauer Berg), steht einem fünften Stern nichts mehr im Weg. Sie können "alles außer hochdeutsch"; hier können sie auf jeden Fall Maultaschen besonders gut und vielleicht können sie irgendwann auch noch freundlich.

Die Maultaschen Manufaktur ist ein schwäbisches Restaurant das sich auf schwäbische Maultaschen spezialisiert hat. Hier werden die Herzen aller Schwaben höher schlagen. Es gibt auch typisches Rothaus Bier Tannenzäpfle aus dem Schwarzwald. Der schwäbische Kartoffelsalat ist sehr lecker.

Net bruddelt isch globt gnug... Aber die Maultaschen und den Service kann man "oifach net gnug lobe!"

Typisch schwäbische Maultäschle, selbst gemacht. Selbstgemachter Kartoffelsalat und frischer Blattsalat. Kleine Karte was ich persönlich immer gut finde. Preis-, Leistung passt vollkommen. Netter, aufmerksamer Service. Ein Stern ziehe ich für das Ambiente ab. Offene Küche und ein grosser Raum. Daher ist der Geräuschpegel etwas hoch wenn viele Gäste dort sind. Aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Super Essen und wirklich sehr schwäbisch authentisch. Alles selbst gemacht und das schmeckt man.

Besitzer war alleine. Sehr gestresst, weil der Koch abgesagt hat. Man durfte nur noch einen minimalen Bruchteil der Karte bestellen, weil er keine Zeit hat „dass wir jetzt die Karte hoch und runter bestellen.“ Als Ausgleich dafür gab es Schnaps umsonst und sehr leckeren Kaiserschmarrn. (Ohne diese Geste wäre es auch nur 1 oder 2 Sterne gewesen) Das Essen war gut, nur die Beilage Kartoffelsalat hat mir nicht geschmeckt und durfte diese leider auch nicht gegen Bratkartoffeln und Spätzle tauschen. Ich glaube, wenn der Koch da gewesen wäre, der Besitzer dadurch nicht so im Stress und so unfreundlich, hätten es gut und gerne 4–5 Sterne werden können. Bedauerlicherweise werde ich dies nicht mehr herausfinden können, da ich nach diesem Erlebnis nicht noch mal wieder kommen werde.

Der Inhaber ist super nett und nimmt sich immer Zeit für ein kleines Schwätzchen auch wenn es mega voll ist. Wo findet man solche Lokale in Berlin noch? Wir kommen bald wieder. Das Essen war lecker und wir wurden schnell bedient. Was mir total unangenehm aufgefallen ist, war das Auftreten des Chefs, der alleine bedient. Er wird sobald mehr los ist unfreundlich und ruppig gegenüber den Gästen. Ich habe beobachtet wie er z.B. ein Pärchen mit den Worten "es ist jetzt kein Platz mehr frei" weggeschickt hat. So behandelt man Menschen nicht. Wir kommen nicht mehr.

Kann leider nichts zu Speisen und Getränken sagen, da das Restaurant voll war. Kann nur die Freundlichkeit des Kellners, Besitzers, whatever beurteilen und die war unterirdisch. Wir haben uns draußen die Karte angeschaut und den dort rumlaufenden Menschen freundlich gegrüßt, es kam erstmal nichts zurück. Als er dann das zweite Mal vorbei kam, hat er uns dann vollgenölt: "Ich habe keinen Platz, es ist alles voll, sie brauchen hier nicht stehen." Yoah hab vollstes Verständnis für volle Restaurants und das man keinen Platz bekommt, aber auch ein Nein kann man freundlich verpacken. Fazit hier geh ich nicht mehr hin.

Das Essen ist echt super lecker und unverwechselbar!!! ABER: der Inhaber scheint sehr reserviert. Eine Bestellung bei ihm aufzunehmen, ähnelt einer telefonischen Terminvereinbarung beim Amt. Die Atmosphäre ist daher … nicht da. Schade, wir gehen dort so gern hin, aber das ist immer wieder ein Argument gegen den Besuch. Sonst würden wir häufiger dort essen. Leider keine Kartenzahlung mehr möglich.
