Probably one of the worst visits to a restaurant in my life. Very disappointing. So many mistakes happened in one evening. I'm sad for my wasted time.

What a delightful cosy restaurant. Food was delicious. And our lovely waitress Thao was so helpful and smiley. We would highly recommend going there -even though we were staying in Mitte we glad we made the journey. All the people working there were very friendly

Great service, the seating was a bit too tight and relatively expensive compared to other times - an older menu can even be found on the restaurant's homepage, everything was 30% cheaper back then. But the dishes are very tasty, criticisms include the fried potatoes being too crispy, sometimes hard and the Bernaise sauce please not just a thimble full.

Super slow service, we arrived at 8PM and didn’t receive food until 9:30. We also had them pack up leftover food and today we found out that they didn’t include the salami/cold cuts we didn’t finish — only the lord knows if they’re reusing it or ate it themselves? Anyways, opening what you think is leftover food and only finding garnish lettuce is…. something lol. Food was okay

The fried potatoes had nothing to do with fried potatoes, very poorly made. All in all the visit did not live up to my expectations!

This restaurant is special because it is one of, if not the last, restaurants in Germany that primarily offers East Prussian cuisine. It starts with the food on offer, continues through the interior with many pictures of bygone times in Germany's easternmost outpost and ends with Pillkaller and Danziger Goldwasser. In keeping with this, German (and English) music from the first half of the last century is played. The service is quick and friendly and the food is well prepared, the price is completely reasonable. On Sunday at 5 p.m. the restaurant was almost empty, but according to the waitress that could be different, so it's better to make a reservation, especially if you're traveling further afield. One can only hope that the restaurant and its concept will continue to exist for a long time, it has a lot of history in it.

Every time I'm in Berlin, I have to go to Marjellchen 😀 The unique dishes, the service, the ambience. Everything is simply fantastic.

Il quartiere è carino e ci sono tanti bei locali, come lo è questo scelto da noi. Ci accomodiamo fuori e la gentile cameriera ci prende l'ordine che è il seguente: Una zuppa di patate con cipolla e bacon Una zuppa di barbabietole con panna acida Un piatto di gulasch con cipolla e patate Un piatto di carne (era di mio figlio e quindi non posso essere più preciso) con due grossi gnocchi di patate e della cipolla stufata Da bere una bottiglia di acqua e tre (alla fine) birre medie. Conto totale: 84,40 + mancia (che, se pagate col pos, dovrete scegliere l'opzione 5, 10 o 15%) Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo; anche la quantità la faceva da padrona! A fine cena rotolavamo per quanto abbiamo mangiato. Servizio preciso, attento e cordiale. Locale molto carino all'interno, meno la parte esterna. Servizi igienici puliti, ma datati. Se siete nei paraggi, ve lo consiglio caldamente.

Op basis van de review die we hier lazen, zijn we naar dit restaurant gegaan. Echter viel het ons wat tegen, qua eten, bediening (niet alle die er liepen, maar helaas wle onze ober...)... Er zijn in de omgeving leukere restaurants te vinden waar prijs en kwaliteit beter in verhouding staan.... Maar goed een ander zou dit mss wel goed kunnen vinden...

Horrible!!!! Don’t eat here!!!! On a dead Monday night our food took an hour and a half to arrive. The pork hock was soggy and gamey, I ate one bite and spit it out. Didn’t touch the plate to eat anything else. Absolutely no question from the waiter if anything was wrong, charged us for everything. Other food was solidly mediocre. Service was terrible. Salad on the side was so salty that we couldn’t eat it.

The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is friendly, the portions are large, the food is very tasty. We really enjoyed.

Superb place with great traditional german food. Amazing service. The chanterreles soup was the best I ever had. Great service and very nice and cozy location.

Atmosphere was nice. Small restaurant ambiance was nice if you have date. Somehow I noticed a lot of gay men couples which was interesting. No im not homophobic. I'm just saying. Food was good service was good. I will try something new next time I visit Berlin.

The meal was pure joy from beginning to end. We split one stream lachs and one wiener schnitzel which was enormous and enough for two. everything was just great. The bill together with a glass of wine and a glass of beer was €66 which is pretty decent these days for the quality of food. The service was outstanding the atmosphere outside on a pleasant street was lovely with very nice music playing to boot. All in all perfect dining experience and will be back for sure!

It's really a different experience of eating. Very originally furnished and nice atmosphere. When you look at the waitress (Dennis) you can tell that he loves his job. Can definitely only be recommended

After arriving in Berlin, I chose the restaurant because I lived nearby. The service and food were very classic. I ordered the pork knuckle. I will choose to come here again if I have time.

I ate very well. The Aperol was great and the service was very attentive.

There were seven of us there early on Saturday evening. The food was great. Very tasty (rather hearty) cuisine. You should definitely reserve in advance. Next time I visit Berlin I will try to spend an evening there again.

If you're looking for a (very) good, home-style restaurant far away from the usual tourist crowds, you've come to the right place. Here we immediately noticed how everything was prepared with love and the many "local" guests confirmed our very positive impression with their presence. Here you are not a tourist, but a real guest :-) The menu is also something special - there are original dishes here and so we ordered a total of six different dishes and all of us were thrilled, no matter from roulade, liver, schnitzel or pepper steak, every dish was a hit! This is how your own grandma cooked and memories were brought back :-) Tip: always reserve a table in advance!

They specialise in Prussian cuisine, everything we ordered was delicious and plenty of choice on the menu. Went here on our return from the Charlottenburg Palace via the 105 bus (10 mins), having just learnt all about the Prussian royals. Staff friendly and helpful with an English menu! I'd recommend the duck.

We were looking for a 'German' restaurant among the many Italian (tourist) restaurants. Situated slightly outside the hustle and bustle, but reserved and very kindly received. Really delicious food and very friendly service. Okay slightly more expensive than other restaurants but it was worth it! Would definitely come back here.

We actually went to the restaurant three times in a row during a daddy-daughter weekend because we thought it was so good. The landlord behind the counter is super nice and even though it was busy, the boss had a great seat for us and gave a great recommendation for a bar. We'll definitely be back!!! Very nice place :) I visited two times and wanted give an advice who is going to pay by CARD. Don’t panic when you don’t get a check from terminal, they will bring you check from another terminal located in the bar :)

It is definitely worth taking two steps from the Kudamm. In addition to seasonal dishes, this restaurant combines some Silesian/East Prussian dishes with good quality cuisine at reasonable prices for the area. The service is attentive and friendly. Relaxed, cozy atmosphere.

If you happen to live nearby, I think this restaurant is definitely worth a try. During my 5-day trip to Berlin, I ate at this restaurant 3 times. The first meal was pork elbow, and the second meal was meatballs and intestines. p1: Pork, in fact, I think their poultry is pretty good, and the portion is very large. If you are not very, very hungry, I don’t recommend you eat it alone. (After a day of driving and flying, I barely ate. I came to eat elbow in the evening and walked out without any support.) p2, 3: To be honest, the portion was not very big and I was very hungry that day, so I ordered the grilled sausage in p3. Relatively speaking, I would recommend the sausage instead of the meatballs, the sausage tastes great. p4: Pudding, if you have children, it is strongly recommended that you order a dessert like this for your children. It is highly recommended for both fun and taste. (ps: To other Chinese tourists, if you plan to order dessert, don’t try German dumpling. Of course, if you want to try cinnamon-flavored dumplings, you can also try it, and you will die if you try it)

Delicious authentic Prussian cuisine with Masurian specialties, extremely friendly and attentive service in a dignified atmosphere with lots of pictures from Prussia and the old Free State of Danzig.

First of all I would like to say that the ambience in the... Marjellchen is unparalleled, a restaurant furnished with a lot of charm and love. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The bread served came with a homemade remoulade/aioli mix, at least that's how I'll describe it, here we already noticed that the evening was going to be good, because the spread was really delicious and of course homemade! As a starter I had the tartare which tasted perfect and I found the option of adding the 5 ingredients myself ideal as I don't like capers, for example. The schnitzel was the highlight, a pleasure and a lot better than in Borchardt or in the Schnitzelei (both restaurants have delicious schnitzels, but the one in Marjellchen was in a different league in my opinion), when I asked I was told that the schnitzel was in Clarified butter is fried, something you don't often find in Berlin these days. For dessert there was a homemade German-style tiramisu - everyone who likes mascarpone, cream and eggnog will love this, like we did! We haven't eaten so well in Berlin for a long time, and by that I mean the whole package starting from Ambiance, the conditions and of course the food. We will come back, thank you very much!

Schlesisches Himmelreich und Königsberger Klopse. sind absolut empfehlenswert. Der Chef Dennis ist stets freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Has by far the best Königsberger Klopse in the city. Boss Ramona was and is unique. Her successor Dennis is also world class. Dennis, thank you for a great evening today. We have been regular guests for almost 25 years.
