Ebert in Berlin

It took quite a while for the food to arrive. A pre-ordered delivery must have gotten in the way. The venison roast was good, but my goose terrine was as gray as a concrete block and far too much. As a contrast to the very greasy lumps, I would have liked to eat the refreshing "Waldorf salad" in its original form, with apples and chopped walnuts. Instead, it was celery with mayo and half a walnut on top. Not a trace of apple. In summary, visually and in terms of taste, disappointing.

There aren't many German restaurants with such a wide selection where everything is top-notch; I'm reviewing this purely from a gastronomic perspective. Everything is homemade, delicious 😋, and tastes fantastic. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to any guest and would gladly return.

A very nice restaurant, beautifully decorated for Christmas, the service is very friendly, and the food menu is finally clear and excellent. I can highly recommend it. Unfortunately, parking will become more expensive from December onwards due to parking management; of course, Ebert can't be blamed for that.

Simply fantastic! The roast goose was outstanding – crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The friendly and attentive staff made the visit an even more enjoyable experience. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back!

We had a lovely Christmas party on November 20th with 10 people, a three-course meal that left nothing to be desired, the service was excellent, we felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The restaurant is highly recommended.

Yesterday, the two of us went to Restaurant Ebert. The food and service were superb. Despite eating out many times, I haven't had such a good meal in a long time. The appetizers, which were even complimentary and included a complimentary amuse-bouche, were also excellent.

Very friendly service and wonderful duck: tender and crispy! Delicious dumpling and red cabbage. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for dessert!

The location is also ideal: a quiet side street in the heart of Wilmersdorf, easily accessible from all parts of the city, and with ample parking. The restaurant isn't very big, but it has something special: very friendly service, superb cuisine, and fine spirits specialties.

Well, I was here again. Up until now, I've always been more than satisfied. But this time, our experience was very mixed. We had a table reserved and arrived about 8 minutes early. No one offered us a place to wait. So we stood around in the restaurant for that entire time. We simply sat our 90-year-old mother down ourselves at an empty table. My duck, from the daily specials menu, tasted okay but was far from crispy. The gravy was very good, the red cabbage very basic, and the kale lacked fat for my taste. Overall, disappointing. They also forgot to serve me the usual extra sauce. A waiter only appeared after the meal, so I didn't bother to remind him. The other dishes were okay.

The food was delicious! What a great idea to have an "Old German Menu" for the weekend! The staff was very helpful and attentive! We'll definitely be back!! :-)))))

No seniors' plates; you can't share food. The portions are much too large, and you could save on packaging. If you had seniors' plates, you wouldn't need any packaging, and you wouldn't throw anything away. If you're not full, you can always order dessert. I didn't receive a reply to my email. And you've lost two more guests. As restaurant managers, we actually expected the boss to invite us for a personal meeting, but unfortunately, to no avail. We could have discussed the other problems with the suggestions.

We redeemed a gift voucher and visited Ebert for the first time, and it won't be our last. It was an incredibly pleasant atmosphere and incredibly great service. We felt very welcome and received the full attention of the team. We can only recommend it wholeheartedly.

Wir waren mal wieder im Restaurant Ebert. Während frühere Besuche keinen Anlass zu Beschwerden gaben, war es diesmal genau umgekehrt. Wir hatten Scholle mit Bratkartoffeln und Kalbsschnitzel mit Spargel.Die Bratkartoffeln weich und pappig die Scholle sehr dünn, bestand hauptsächlich aus Panade. Der Spargel hätte noch einige Minuten länger im kochenden Wasser liegen müssen, so war der Spargel noch zu hart, ließ sich mit dem stumpfen Messer kaum schneiden. Es fehlte auch die Prise Zucker; die eigentlich dem kochenden Wasser zugegeben wird. Den zwei kleinen, dünnen Kalbsschnitzeln fehlten die Würze, schmeckten fad. Preiselbeeren hätten dem Fleisch gutgetan.Zu erwähnen noch der Preis für Kalbsschnitzel mit Beelitzer Spargel: 41,00 Euro ! Wir haben lange nicht so schlecht gegessen.

Ebert is an absolute must if you're in the area! A family run restaurant now in its 3rd generation, we ended up eating here on multiple occasions because of the quality of the food and service. The wait staff were informative yet unobtrusive, and recommended dishes and drinks that were in season. Cannot rate high enough!

Even without a reservation, the two of us were accommodated and I was able to enjoy a great roulade. Thank you :)

Ansprechendes Ambiente, netter Service. Vorspeise: Kartoffelsuppe, völlig im Stil Hausmacher Art. Soweit ok, aber der Preis von 10 Euro ist gewürzter als die Suppe und lässt einen kleinen Geschmackskick vermissen. Die Vorspeise "Gebratene Blutwurst" wird zur Hauptspeise aufgepeppt für faire 25 Euro. Bei meiner Frage nach Senf verfinstert sich das Gesicht der BEdienung. "Gute Sauce", sagt sie, "probieren Sie doch erstmal so." Stimmt. Senf ist nicht nötig. Gebracht hätte ich ihn trotzdem. Eine Enttäuschung die Marzipan-Crème brulée. Ein kleiner Klecks kalte Crème. Mein Einwand, gerade das Miteinander von warmer Karamellschicht und nicht erhitzter Crème mache doch den Reiz aus, wird weggepustet: Der Koch ginge mit dem Bunsenbrenner über die Schicht, bevor sie geschickt würde. Diese Schicht hier hat nie einen Brenner gesehen! Allerdings sind die Sauerkirschen, deren Daseinsberechtigung sich mir nicht komplett erschließt, kochend heiß. Vielleicht ist der Koch einfach verrutscht? Fazit: gut. Gut genug zum Wiederkommen? Weiß noch nicht.

Qué hallazgo. Propiedad y gestión familiar. Muy amable con buena comida. Fuimos el domingo por la noche, que fue una noche italiana especial junto con el menú habitual. Excelente relación calidad-precio. Sin duda volvería de nuevo.

Etwas abseits vom Trubel in einem Wohnviertel gelegen, «versteckt» sich unsere Entdeckung des Tages: ausgesprochen nettes und aufmerksames Personal, eine kleine, feine Karte, die durch eine österreichische Sonderkarte ergänzt wurde und eine Küche, die weiß, wie’s geht! Das Ebert’s kommt auf unsere Favoriten-Liste für Berlin!

A casa de una velada absolutamente fantástica. La comida, recetas del Sr. Wannermacher (tuvo una estrella Michelin durante muchos años) estaba muy bien preparado, cocinado, presentado y servido. El salmón en el entrante tenía una consistencia que nunca antes había tenido, estaba delicioso. El Lobster Bisque fue el mejor que he tenido, podría haberme bañado en él! Flanco de filete excelente y el desierto era una mezcla del mejor chocolate moise y gel de maracuyá y semi fredo, un equilibrio perfecto de dos gustos. Gracias por esta maravillosa experiencia!

This was the second time we went to Gans or Eating tea there and are so impressed by the great ambience. Small red Christmas balls hang everywhere on the ceiling and create a nice atmosphere. Whoever guesses how many balls there are can win the competition. The service and the food are extremely good. We will definitely come back next year.

Esto es lo que esperas de una comida alemana contemporánea. La comida es muy agradable, el servicio es impecable, ambiente muy familiar. La piquera frita con papas fritas en sartén era demasiada combinación frita. De lo contrario solo recomendación!

Der Service war nett und zuvorkommend, vor allem angesichts des bis auf den letzten Tisch besetzten Restaurants. Leider fiel die Qualität des Essens davon deutlich ab. Wir haben martinsgans-Menü gegessen. Die Gänseleberpastete war sehr schmackhaft, die danach folgende Gemüsebrühe leider nur lauwarm. Die Gans war sehr schlecht, wegen der bereits auf dem Teller angerichteten Sauce war sie nicht sehr kross, die Messer waren leider nicht scharf genug, so dass die Zerteilung sehr schwer fiel. Rotkraut und Grünkohl waren akzeptabel, Knödel ebenso. Alles in allem akzeptabel, aber kein großes Erlebnis, was angesichts der großen Nachfrage verwundet. Zudem war der Geräuschpegel sehr hoch, so dass Gespräche über den Tisch fast unmöglich waren, aber wir waren ja auch zum essen da😄. Vielleicht waren aber auch unsere Erwartungen zu hoch, da wir vom Sonstigen Niveau des Restaurants ausgegangen waren.

Absolutamente lugar para salir por la noche, sin embargo, el servicio era un poco lento a veces, especialmente porque el restaurante no estaba lleno. La comida era de primera categoría, no hay problemas para encontrar una comida adecuada y un montón de ella, sin duda no hay control de porciones aquí. El queso de cabra era estupendo, el schnitzel de cerdo era como se esperaba. ¡Excelente! Gran ambiente con un buen zumbido agradable, si vas a Berlín, este debería ser un restaurante que deberías visitar

The EBERT Restaurant & Bar is on Eisenbahnstr. 59, located in 10709 Berlin. This is a good restaurant. The ambience and atmosphere there is very pleasant. I drank good beers there and ate a beef roulade like at Nuts. Both were very delicious. The staff is very friendly, helpful, socially competent and very valuable. We had two meals here as we enjoyed the food so much. The staff were friendly and welcoming, we sent them emails to reserve our tables and had quick responses. It’s a family run restaurant and the food was very good quality. The restaurant is in a residential area of Berlin and well worth a trip. There were many who I presume were locals within the restaurant so it was an authentic experience. We strongly recommend a visit to Ebert restaurant.

It was Swiss menu week when we dined. We opted for the Swiss menu and everything was delicious. Service was attentive, swift and always with a genuine smile. I can highly recommend the Crepe Suzette - they even make it for one. We will definitely return on our next trip to Berlin.

We visited the restaurant again with a good friend of my parents and, as always, we found a very finely coordinated menu from the extensive and lovingly put together menu. Prices are reasonable and appropriate, the quality of the food is excellent, and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. Crêpes as dessert burn into your memory in a very positive way 🤭 We will definitely come back...

Great restaurant, which is already run by the third generation. The staff was very accommodating and gave us enough time to choose the dishes. Our questions were answered in detail. We had very tasty fish dishes and pasta/risotto as the main course. The menu offers something for every taste and we were also able to choose delicious dishes from a separate menu. The portions were very generous for the price, not like in other restaurants of the same price range, where you often have to look for the dish on oversized plates. We'd love to come back!

Very good restaurant with good German cuisine not far from Kurfürstendamm. There is also free parking nearby.  Extremely nice, polite and attentive service. Food was excellent. There is also a weekly and daily menu and special promotions such as a scampi-sat evening. Currently very well made dishes with fresh chanterelles. You can sit comfortably - even outside. Really recommended. And we'll be back.
