Small Italian restaurant with a very short menu. The food wasn't bad, but the portions were small and the service was very, very slow. I can't recommend it, and I don't think we'll return.

The food was not Italian at all; we had pasta e patata, which was more like a stew and too expensive. The bread was delicious. The wine was very sparingly portioned. We waited quite a while for the menu.

I love the food! Great service, and it feels a bit like you're in Italy. The wine selection is also good, but reservations are essential. We'd love to come back, thank you for a wonderful (birthday) evening.

We sat down at the table that the waitress showed us. After about 20 minutes of waiting, no one came to us. We got up and left. The waitress didn't speak to us when we left. There wasn't much going on either. We didn't even have a menu, we just waited for 20 minutes and wondered what there could be. Too bad

Food mediocre, endless waiting times, it takes a long time before you even get a card. At some point you were given bread but until the end there was no salt or a plate with which you could have eaten bread with olive oil. It's a shame, because the location and ambience are actually really nice. And if you don't tip at the end because of the bad experience, you'll get bullied.

The quality of the food and wine has deteriorated so much and the prices have become so overpriced that I will no longer eat there. Yesterday the sirloin of beef was COLD inside, and with the same ready-made vegetables from the freezer, like every other meat dish in this restaurant. Had them warmed up again - came back: loin cut across with the waiter's comment: "You wanted it through". I would have been better off throwing the 29 euros for the loin in the trash, then there would be less trouble. The Pino Grigio was undrinkable and it couldn't be cheaper. And the vegetables were almost as cold as if they were fresh from frozen. Plus outrageous service. It's a shame, I used to eat there very often.

Bad service! We were completely ignored. The food looked delicious but I never got around to ordering because the waiter apparently had more important things to do.

we sat outside by nice weather, having a tartar and a glass of primitivo. tartar was delicious! (lots of pepper we added by ourselves)

Unfortunately we couldn't eat there as they claimed I had canceled the reservation. What was absolutely not true: I made a reservation via email and received confirmation and two days beforehand I confirmed it again by phone (since the restaurant had called a few times, I called back). But there wasn't even an apology, we were just told by the person we asked for our table that he couldn't do anything about it, he had only been there since 5 p.m. Very unprofessional: first a mistake happens (a reservation is incorrectly recorded as canceled in the system) and then you don't even apologize, but just emphasize that it wasn't your own fault. Thanks for the anniversary...

Small and fine Italian restaurant in Maxvorstadt. The food was quite tasty, but could have used a little more seasoning for my taste - salt and pepper were available upon request. The service was nice and quick.

Food: the starter we ordered and the pasta with truffles were delicious. The portion size is manageable for the quite high price. There is only a small selection for vegetarians. Very good wine selection. Service: Nice and quick service, the main courses were served at the same time. Ambiance: Cozy, family atmosphere. It's not too loud, conversations are possible. The seating situation is slightly cramped.

I ate a very tasty lasagne and my friend had a baba rum with ice cream for dessert and it was super tasty. There's nothing wrong with the service, see you next time.

It's worth paying a little more

If you want to feel the Italian atmosphere in Munich, you should come to “Da Angelo”. Small, cozy restaurant with the menu written on the blackboard, which the friendly staff reads out in a friendly manner. Sea wolf with spinach and potatoes, recommended if you fancy fresh and delicious fish. And a large portion of panna cotta for dessert at the end. But you should reserve a table in advance because it is a favorite place for several people and the restaurant is relatively small.

Despite a reservation, no table was available - and they couldn't say approximately how long it would take. Once and never again.

Expensive Italian restaurant with little vegetarian selection and service with inappropriate sense of humor. Has a long history but unless you want to impress your investors with your team dinner I suggest going to one of the many other options close by. The tiramisu is delicious tho

Very cozy Italian. Food is served daily from the slate by an incredibly friendly team. Price is typical for Schwabing. To get full marks, the lasagne should have been a little hotter. So read the rating as 4.99 stars 😄

Ein wirklich einzigartiges Restaurant mit Wohnzimmer-Flair und herzlichem Personal. Es gibt eine wechselnde Abendkarte mit genau so viel Auswahl, dass man das Gefühl bekommt, es hat sich jemand wirklich Gedanken über das Angebot gemacht.

Extrem unfreundliche Kellnerin, die nicht in der Lage war, eine Bestellung trotz MEHRFACHEM Gespräch ordentlich aufzunehmen bzw. zu ändern und mir dann den Salat respektlos dahinklatscht. Was soll das?! Vor allem bei den Preisen?!

Ungewöhnlicherweise kam die Speisekarte in Form einer großen Tafel. Ausnehmend angenehmer Service, wir sind seiner Empfehlung gefolgt und konnten eine tolle Salsiccia mit Artischocken genießen! Wir werden gern wieder kommen!

Spontaneous dinner at Da Angelo was amazing. The restaurant was quite busy, but was able to accomodate us. Great ambience and food with an alternating menu, adapting to the seasonally available ingredients. The staff presented the daily menu in multiple languages and showed both skill and dedication to their craft.

Super gemütliches kleines, authentisches italienisches Lokal. Das Vitello tonato war exzellent und die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm. Trotz des relativ engen Platzes und der vielen Gäste konnte man sich noch wunderbar unterhalten. Klare Empfehlung 👍🏼👍🏼

Also nichts gegen einen Drink auf der Terrasse bei Sonnenschein und bester Lage in Schwabing aber das Essen überzeugt Kun wirklich nicht ! Standard Gerichte die zwar ganz gut gemacht sind aber Hauptspeise…. geht so! Außerdem sehr unbeständig, ich habe drei mal Mittags die gleiche Pasta gegessen und jedesmal komplett anders. Service bei etwas mehr Gästen auch immer überfordert.

Das Essen war nicht frisch, das Fleisch war fad und kaum zu essen. Für den Preis von +100€ pro Person für den Abend echt eine Enttäuschung und nicht zu empfehlen.

...gehe schon seit vielen Jahren immer wieder zu Da Angelo. Exzellente ,kleine Küche, Perfekter, familiärer Service. Interessante Gäste , gute Stimmung... muss meine bisher positive Bewertung zurück nehmen ...seit dem Verkauf von Gabi und Alex an den schlecht gelaunten Kellner und überforderten neuen Inhaber Raymondo ist der Kult dieses Restaurants leider vorbei.....schade ! auch der lustige Kellner Francesco hat dieses Lokal wohl auch nicht grundlos verlassen !

Das Essen ist gut aber das Service ist eine Katastrophe! Sehr unhöfliche Kellner. Meine Eltern waren in Müchen zu Besuch. Ich wollte ihnen eine gute Erfahrung geben aber Da Angelo war genau das Gegenteil. Wir haben extrem lang gewarter und die Kellner haben uns komplett ignoriert. Das Restaurant würde ich niemandem empfehlen. Sehr schlechte Erfahrung.

A cute little Italian restaurant. The decor of the restaurant is very cozy and great for a date. It takes you back to Italy. The staff was super polite and attentive. Food was great! We had a vegetarian tagliatelle with mushrooms and burratta caprese Both were quite nice They have great aperol!

Wir waren letztens spontan zu zwei im "Da Angelo" essen. Wir hatten nicht reserviert, und haben trotzdem direkt einen Platz draußen bekommen. Das Restaurants hat ein nettes Ambiente, auch das Personal ist super freundlich! Es gab eine gute Auswahl an Tages aktuellen Speisen. Die Nudeln mit Trüffel waren sehr lecker & frisch. Auch die Nudeln mit der Bolognese Soße waren sehr lecker. Kommen gerne wieder! Gruß Tim

Mit Abstand die beste Lasagne die ich in München bis jetzt gegessen habe. Leider variiert das Menü, sodass es sie nicht immer gibt. Die Karte ist klein, aber das ist auch gerade das charmante an diesem Restaurant. Qualität über Quantität. Für jeden Geschmack ist was dabei!

Nettes kleines Restaurant... Gerne wieder!

Dieses gemütliche Restaurant bietet köstliche typisch italienische Gerichte. Das Personal dort ist sehr freundlich. Wir waren mit unseren zwei Kindern und dem Baby im Kinderwagen dort.

The restaurant is a little small but the food is great (and authentic). The personal is friendly and helpful. An extremely nice discovery in the neighborhood. Recommended.

Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und das Ambiente auch typisch italienisch. Leider lässt der Service sehr zu wünschen. Es wird sich überhaupt nicht um einen gekümmert! Der Chef Raimondo ist ein Stoffel und seit sein bester Kellner Francesco nicht mehr da ist, läuft der Laden nicht mehr. Sehr schade!

Hier kann man sehr köstlich italienisch speisen. Es gibt jeden Tag eine frische Tageskarte bzw Tafel, sehr abwechslungsreich, sodass die Wahl oft schwer fällt. Die Einrichtung ist authentisch-gemütlich und der Service herzlich. Wir kommen immer wieder gern!
