Restaurant Bella Italia in Berlin

Ideal für ein gutes Essen vor einer späten Zugfahrt. Uns wurde es von DB-Mitarbeitern am nahegelegenen Bahnhof Gesundbrunne empfohlen. Nichts Besonderes, einfache Küche, mehr als nur Pizza. Sehr einladend, preiswert mit großzügigen Portionen, alles frisch zubereitet. Englisch und Italienisch werden gesprochen. Der hausgemachte Grappa war besser als erwartet!

Hallo zusammen, das Essen war ein absoluter Reinfall. Die Bolognese Soße hat nach Wasser ( nichts )geschmeckt und es waren riesige Knoblauchstücke drin. In der Carbonara Portion waren gefühlt 300g Schlagsahne drin. Das Besteck war staubig und krümelig. Die Bedienung hat uns das Essen gebracht und kam nie wieder, bis ich aufgestanden bin und was gesagt habe. Ich würde am liebsten 0 Sterne geben.

Ich rate dringend von diesem Ort ab. Das Essen ist sehr durchschnittlich, aber der Service sollte absolut keinen Kontakt mit Kunden haben.

Wir waren gestern Abend zu Dritt im Bella Italia und haben sehr gut gegessen, u.a. feine Spaghetti Bolognese und eine kräftige Lasagne. Besonders freute ich mich über mein fegato alla griglia, was man selten bekommt. Tatsächlich gab es vorher gratis etwas zum Knabbern und typisch italienisches pane und am Schluß eine Sambuca oder Grappa aufs Haus. Besonders bedanken möchte ich mich bei unserem italienischen Ober, der auf unserem conto leider nur als "Bediener 2" aufgeführt wurde.

Essen war sehr gut (Grillplatte) und die Bedienung lebendig und freundlich. Uns gefiel es sehr gut. Sind durch Zufall hier gelandet...und kommen bestimmt mal wieder

Wir verstehen nicht, woher die nur 4 Sterne kommen. Aufs Haus gab’s Oliven und Brot. Die bestellten Bruscetta waren super lecker und mit 6 Stück auch sehr reichlich. Meine Spagetti Carbonara waren mega lecker, ich möchte fast sagen eine der Besten, die ich jemals gegessen hab. Die Nudeln von meinem Freund waren mit scharfer Tomatensoße und Hähnchenfleisch und auch wirklich sehr lecker. Und das bei wirklich sehr günstigen Preisen!! Eine Schnapps aufs Haus gab’s auch! Vielen Dank nochmal für dieses wirklich mega Essen aus Franken☺️☺️

Zweckmäßig. Der Service ist freundlich. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist gut und die Preise normal bis gut. Allerdings ist das Essen selbst nicht so gut, aber vollkommen in Ordnung. Die Qualität ist mittelmäßig, aber die Preise dafür gut. Man sollte keine großen Erwartungen haben. Mit Pizza kann man hier nicht viel falsch machen. Pasta ist okay und vom Steak würde ich eher abraten.

Ich gehe sehr gerne zu diesen Italiener, da es dort das Essen sehr lecker ist. Sehr nettes Personal. Vom Preis her, ganz normal und realistisch. Empfehle ich immer sehr gerne weiter.

Ein perfektes, kleines, ruhiges italienisches Restaurant mit köstlichem Essen. Definitiv ein Geheimtipp.

Waren als Tourist dort essen. Wir waren positiv überrascht. Essen war super und passend warm. Service sehr nett und aufmerksam. Zum Schluss gab es noch ein Grappa aufs Haus. Würde nochmal wiederkommen.

Eine absolute Empfehlung, wenn man Playa de Palma ist, direkt Bushaltestelle Balenaro acht. Essen gu, Service gut, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Absoluter muss :-)

The restaurant was chosen by a friend. The pizza was recommended to me, but I can't recommend it. The menu itself has a huge selection. I prefer less choice and better quality. All the pizzas were rather difficult to slice, which is the first question. Why isn't the pizza sliced ​​when I eat in a restaurant? We weren't even asked if we wanted it sliced. A neighbor had the steak, and while it was a lot, the meat wasn't that good. I'd say it wasn't a rump steak either. We were a large group, and there was no free schnapps or coffee, as is typical. The price is therefore unjustified, and I won't be coming back.

Hi. There were three of us eating, and we were surprised by how delicious it was. So, I can't rate it 4.0. For me, it would easily be a 4.6 or 4.7. We had a tuna pizza and two pasta dishes. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. 😀. After dinner, we had a Sambuga (even the original one with three coffee beans).

Waiting 10 minutes just for the menu even though the restaurant is empty. Lol

We went here to eat after visiting the unterwelen, an environment that reminds us of a healthy Italian trattoria, we ate the pasta Bolognese, a decidedly generous portion

They charged us whatever they wanted for seven beers, over 39 euros, without specifying the price, even though we asked twice. Plus, the terrace smelled like a sewer.

Expensive, very expensive, beers at €6 on average because we're still waiting for the detailed receipt despite asking for it.

Everything tastes like frozen food, if you're in a group one person might finish before everyone else has their food, and it doesn't look good either.

The restaurant is truly authentic—you feel like you're in Italy. The server was super friendly and attentive. My rump steak was simply incredible—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I definitely recommend it!

We came to this café and were greeted by a waiter who asked whether we were only going to drink or also eat. As it turned out, he asked that because their chef was late for work. We ordered brunch — you can see in the photo how poorly it looked (there were originally 6 pieces, only 4 are shown in the photo). It’s worth mentioning that it was just plain bread with a few slices of tomato. It looked extremely poor. When we received the food, we weren’t even given plates or cutlery, which is already unacceptable. We thought the experience couldn’t get any worse — but then, workers showed up behind us and suddenly started drilling the wall. It was unbelievably loud, and none of the customers were warned or happy about it. It was a total nightmare. To finally leave this place, we had to go and ask for the bill ourselves because no one came to our table. They simply didn’t care about their customers. This is not only the worst café in Berlin, but the worst place I’ve ever been to in my life. If negative ratings were possible, they would get the maximum negative score: -100/5.

Smells like toilet a little. The waiter forgets our orders. We call him Big G btw. I would give it 2 stars but i love going to the toilet very much.

Expensive ice cream and soft drinks of medium quality

We ordered a pepperoni pizza with extra pepperoni, had it delivered, and then received a pizza that was barely 24 cm in size, which was also burnt. The information stated the pizza was 28 cm, a total rip-off.

This restaurant at Brunnenstrasse 104 is highly recommended. The lamb chops (with croquettes) are incredibly good (with homemade herb butter that is unparalleled anywhere in the world!). UPDATE from July 2019: Unfortunately, lamb chops are no longer available, but all the other items on the menu that we enjoyed were brilliant, delicious, perfectly prepared, and served with excellent service. An absolute recommendation. The antipasti, the fish soup, the calamari, and the homemade herb butter are especially world-class. UPDATE from June 28, 2025: Believe it or not: When choosing whether to take a short break in Hamburg, Berlin, or Munich next week, BELLA ITALIA on Brunnenstrasse tipped the scales in favor of BERLIN. This fabulous restaurant alone is why I'll be traveling to Gesundbrunnen next week, and I'm already looking forward to the food and the unbeatably perfect service there.

Food was good and the staff friendly.

On top of the €5.50 iced coffee, I had to pay an additional €2 for the scoop of ice cream in my iced coffee. Absolutely outrageous. The selection of ice cream flavors is very limited, and the quality doesn't make a good impression.

We have never experienced such bad service. We reserved a table for 7 people over the phone. We were greeted warmly and took our drink order. The drinks arrived and our food order was taken. After about 20 minutes we were asked if we had placed an order, and yes, we had. A moment later, the same question was asked. A little later, a man told us the food was already on the pan. After waiting for 40 minutes, a waiter came and told us that the waiter who had taken our food had forgotten to pass it on to the kitchen. He was very sorry and asked if he should order the food now. We said no, as we had to go to an event. The waiter offered us two starters for 7 people? The best part was that as a thank you, we even had to pay for the drinks on empty stomachs. That's the last time anything like that happened to me - no food. We will never be seen in this restaurant again.

Small but fine Italian restaurant with unbeatable value for money for Berlin!

Cozy restaurant, had a lovely evening. The server was very friendly and funny. I highly recommend it.

The restaurant has a wide selection of Italian food: fish, meat, pizza, pasta etc and hot and cold alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. You can sit both inside and outside. If the weather is good, the outdoor area is recommended, only the traffic noise is a bit annoying. Payment is possible with both card and cash. The food (Pizza Tonno and Hawaii) were delicious, the waiters were friendly and accommodating.

What (cheap) prices, and then such good food! Time has stood still a bit, but anyone who has been in the same place for over 25 years has earned it not through ambience, but through good food. I'd love to come back! Grazie mille!!

Delicious food, great service. I'm thrilled. I had lunch here during my transfer at Gesundbrunnen train station. The food was very tasty and after I asked if it was possible to eat within 30 minutes so that I could catch my connecting train, I had my food in front of me incredibly quickly.

The best food here in Berlin, just the way I like it, and the portions are also quite large for a reasonable price. The service is very nice, friendly and attentive, and it is also very clean and cozy. The boss there is also super nice. You feel comfortable here!!!

This restaurant is absolutely bad. Really horrible. The service is unfriendly and very loud. We are filled with bad music. The food tastes worse than frozen food and the portions are tiny. Guests from our group were also overlooked and it took half an hour for the food to be delivered while the others had long since finished. No gluten-free food is offered and the atmosphere is horrible. In addition, hair is increasingly found in food I definitely do not recommend this restaurant and even advise against dining there.

Absolutely bad. The waiter had forgotten me with the drinks. When he brought the drinks for the others, I pointed out to him that he had accidentally forgotten me and that I would like to have another drink. I was there with my parents and siblings (250 people). The cook had a mouse under his hat that controlled him. That was sweet. But I think the waiter wasn't a real Italian, but Vladimir Putin. When I asked about this, he told me not to ask so many stupid questions and that Italy has always been part of Russia. Afterwards he insulted the mother of all 250 guests one after the other, which, since most of us were siblings, was not, in my opinion, a very wise investment of time. Nevertheless, most of them had a lot of fun, except for mom. The food tasted very good, the dessert I recommend is the Pizza Semifredo. We would be happy to come back at any time.

Upon entering there is a very cozy warm atmosphere. We had our food within 10 minutes of ordering and it was very tasty. The staff is extremely friendly and welcomes you to the restaurant. The restaurant deserves a better place because it is really great!! Highly recommended if you are staying in this area

Were there today at the family reunion, a table was ordered. We were then divided into 3 tables. Everything smells like a drain in there. The bruchetta was very good, coffee was also good, pizza wasn't that tasty, fries weren't ready and the first waiter was rather annoyed that he had to work now. The second very nice.

We were a group (approx. 12-15 people) with children. The waiter was totally overwhelmed. We didn't receive some of our drinks or any food at all, even though we asked several times. The waiter totally lost track and served us food that no one ordered! He also took his mood out on us. That's not how you treat customers. Such behavior is inexplicable to me and there was no apology. We left the restaurant hungry without food after 1.5 hours.

Went to the Italian restaurant because I was nearby and nothing else sensible was open. The waiter was really nice and took the order quickly, which is no surprise when there are only 3 tables occupied in the restaurant on a Sunday evening. Prices are also great and the food is ok, but unfortunately the whole restaurant smelled like a sewer. It wasn't possible to spend the evening there... We ate quickly and left

A beautifully presented restaurant, the prices are very attractive and I immediately found 3 favorite dishes. It turned out to be the beef fillet with broccoli and herb butter. Very, very tasty - a taste explosion. I will definitely find my way back here and came from Brandenburg an der Havel. Previously we were at the Berliner Unterwelten e. V. - spontaneous, but a very successful evening! The olives and bread that were previously served were also very tasty, as was the side salad.

We actually just wanted to drink something, but the nice waiter gave us a few olives and bread as well as cutlery. He encouraged us to order something to eat. The waiter was very nice and attentive. The scampi pizza was very tasty and had plenty of toppings. I will definitely eat there again. The only thing that could perhaps be criticized is the old-fashioned, outdated furnishings. Is very cozy and rustic.

Service is quite okay. Waiters seem to be trying hard, but orders take forever or only come when asked again. The furnishings are very outdated and every time the toilet door is opened, an unpleasant smell wafts through the entire restaurant. Very unsavory. Apparently there are also mice in the restaurant. During our visit we observed 2 mice staying under the tables and disappearing into small holes in the walls.

I was eating there with my class (90 people) and more than half of them vomited after 20 minutes, the rest were very sick, which meant that we couldn't do any more activities, which was a shame.

My friend needed to use the restroom, so he walked in and asked if he could use the restroom. No problem! It was said. When he had finished and walked outside, he was approached and pointed to a note on the door that apparently stated that the toilet cost 2 euros for non-guests. It's not nice not to report this in advance, but the ridiculously high price in particular made us decide to post this review. Never before have I paid so ridiculously much for a visit to the toilet.

Very friendly service and really good food. The bruschetta in particular was a highlight for me. Only the wall next to me was a little dirty from food splatters and could use some deep cleaning or a coat of paint. The rest of the restaurant is harmoniously furnished and clean. The outdoor seating area is on a large street, but still invites you to linger.

Fin mad, ikke noget særligt. Vi delte en pizza og en omgang bruschetta. Der var hhv. chili- og hvidløgsolie med til pizzaen, hvilket var lækkert.
