Sehr gemütliches italienisches restaurant. Das Essen ist fabelhaft ich kann die Cabonara sehr empfehlen. Preis Leistung finde ich für diese Gegend sehr gut. Wurde schnell zu meinen lieblings Italiener.

Vorsicht! Sehr unfreundlicher Service. Sie geben keine Auskunft darüber, welche Karten akzeptiert werden. Selbst wenn man freundlich zum Personal ist, sind sie sehr kundenfeindlich. Nie wieder. Danke. Gute Nacht.

Dieses Restaurant ist unser Stammlokal, jedes Mal, wenn wir in Berlin sind! Die Besitzer sind total nett und erinnern sich sogar an uns und unsere Bestellung. Die Pasta Carbonara ist die beste, die ich je gegessen habe! Man fühlt sich wie bei Freunden zu Hause, und im Hintergrund läuft leise Musik.

Das Essen wirkte lieblos zubereitet und völlig ohne Liebe zum Detail. Der Laden scheint eine Touristenfalle zu sein. Dass dort nur Bargeld akzeptiert wird, spricht Bände.

Mein Lieblingstiramisu in Berlin. Absolute Empfehlung!

Köstlich. Gemütlich. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Aber! Mir hat nicht gefallen, dass man bar bezahlen musste. Das sollte im 21. Jahrhundert nicht mehr so ​​sein. Oder zumindest sollte man vorher darauf hingewiesen werden.

Der Service war schlecht und unaufmerksam. Leider wurden wir lautstark angeschrien und beleidigt als wir Kritik an den Zahlungsmöglichkeiten geäußert haben. (Zahlung mit Kreditkarte ist nicht möglich) Da würde ich mich lieber einer der anderen Gaststätten am Gipsdreieck empfehlen.

da Piada ist eines der wenigen authentischen, kleinen italienischen Restaurants in Berlin-Mitte, mit vernünftigen Preisen und leckerem Essen. Der italienische Inhaber ”Alvaro” steht selbst in der Küche, während seine Frau die Gäste bedient. Bei dieser Qualität und persönlichem Service wartet man auch mal gerne ein paar Minuten. Bestens geeignet auch für Geburtstage oder andere Feiern für bis zu 35 Personen. Meine Geburtstagsfeier war ein voller Erfolg, bei gutem Wetter ist der Aussenbereich perfekt und ideal für Mittagessen, Aperitivo und Abendessen. Danke Alvaro und Gosia

Dieses Restaurant ist einfach wunderbar. Die Atmosphäre ist warm und familiär, das Essen schmeckt unglaublich gut und die beiden Besitzer sind so herzlich, wie man es sich nur wünschen kann. Ich habe meine Verlobungsfeier dort gefeiert und würde jederzeit wieder dort feiern oder einfach zum Essen vorbeikommen.

Unfortunately not a good experience.

Like already criticized, overpriced for the ridiculous portions you get. But food was just ok! A glass of wine, one Hugo, one pasta dish and one Bruschetta and it costed 47 euros. Only when we needed to pay they inform us that they only accept cash or giro card (in the center of Berlin when they deal also with tourists). When I pinpointed that we had to get informed in advance, the waitress just responded "ja machen wir" in a such impolite way. They don't care about service at all and they don't deserve your money!

Too expensive for what it offers!! The bread is from the supermarket, the incredients are super low quality. Only the drinks were good. Super pricy, I felt smb was stealing from me. The chef served pasta in a soup of water and no taste. Only shame for those who use an Italian brand name only to serve low quality and over expensive food. And this is such a poor combination.

We are Spanish and we love a good aperitif. We ordered a burrata with truffle oil and some bruschetta. Everything was delicious, it also came with olive oil. All homemade and delicious. Very close service.

I don't understand the bad reviews on this site. Quite authentic Italian, although I have to say that we only had an appetizer based on antipasti. Olive oil with bread? Delicious. The burrata? Incredible. And the treatment, very friendly.

Italy deserves better! No wonder this place is on Gipsstrasse, so unsuspecting tourists can get ripped off. Otherwise no one would go here. The food is bland, uninspired and superficial; The service was rude and condescending. It's a shame, it was an evening to forget.

Honestly, I don't quite understand why the place only has 3,9 stars. I have been going here for over 6 years and I have never been disappointed. Always spot on, nice wine selection and very friendly staff. 5 star all the way for me

“Da Piada” is one of my all-time favorite restaurants in Berlin, especially in Mitte. The host couple is always friendly, attentive and warm. The food (parmigiana, antipasti plate, carbonara) was amazing! With the carbonara, the guanciale is fried until crispy and no, of course there is no cream in it. For the aperitif there was an Americano (the cocktail, not the coffee) and for dessert an affogato. The music is always at the perfect volume, and due to the limited number of tables it is never too loud. If you want to meet friends for dinner in peace and be able to get along with them, this is the perfect shop. Also great for birthday parties.

One of my favourite places in Berlin. Very authentic food made in the cutest little kitchen. The couple running this place is always friendly and make you feel welcome. I come as often as possible. One of the last real restaurants in Berlin Mitte. If this place is not for you, Italy is not for you.

It is a wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere is great, the owners are polite and pleasant, as well as having very good conversation. I have always been treated with care and good manners. The food is wonderful, especially the carbonara. I am surprised to read the negative reviews as it is the complete opposite of what I have experienced in my repeated visits to this restaurant. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin, for me it is a must.

Pequeño lugar totalmente subestimado - el menú es limitado, pero la excelencia brilla a través. Tres en nuestra mesa tenían la Carbonara, y yo el fetiche con burrata y salsa de tomate. El aperitivo de bruschetta fue absolutamente fenomenal, y el postre de panna cotta con cobertura de cerezas fue increíble. El lugar está dirigido por una familia italiana, y se puede saborear el amor. El servicio fue atento y amable. Solo un hipo - Traté de pagar con AmEx (realmente lo sé mejor. . . . ) Aparentemente rompió la máquina - luego intenté pagar con mi tarjeta VISA, pero solo me dijeron efectivo. Grr. Cuando regresamos al hotel descubrimos que el cargo por VISA había pasado, además del efectivo que pagamos. Espero que se den cuenta de la discrepancia y nos devuelvan nuestra tarjeta de crédito. 50 duplicado es un poco mucho para una sola comida - los dedos cruzados. Pero vale la pena buscar algo de auténtica cocina italiana.

Totally underrated little place - menu is limited but the excellence shines through. Three at our table had the Carbonara, and I had the fettuccine with burrata & tomato sauce. The bruschetta appetizer was absolutely phenomenal, and the panna cotta dessert with cherry topping was incredible. The place is run by an Italian family, and you can taste the love. Service was attentive and friendly. Only one hiccup - I tried to pay with AmEx (I really do know better...) Apparently it broke the machine - I then tried paying with my VISA card, but was told cash only. Grr. When we got back to the hotel we discovered the VISA charge had gone through, in addition to the cash we paid. I hope they notice the discrepancy and refund our credit card. €106.50 doubled is a bit much for a single meal - fingers crossed. But it's well worth seeking out for some authentic Italian cuisine.

Anyone who runs a restaurant like this should close down. I regret ending up there and will certainly never go there again! Totally loveless place and the service that makes you feel unpleasantly intimidated. The food is inedible and simply rotten. Ordered burrata with tomatoes and avocado, got half of the burrata with ten avo cubes and a few halved cherry tomatoes. It had no taste at all and looked like it had been prepared by a child. Ravioli with mushroom filling and truffle oil were tortellini like from Aldi and there was no trace of truffle oil. But the prices are really high and the quality of a canteen is below average. It must be a joke what the operators allow themselves to do, I can't understand it any other way. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Very simple, poorly made pasta dishes at completely exorbitant prices. And then portions as if they were premium dishes. The carbonara is completely dry, with three pieces of bacon and supermarket spaghetti. Everyone can do it better at home. First of all, good bread, but with tasteless olive oil, also more like supermarket quality. Overall, in terms of quality and quantity, it's simply a disgrace! Complaint/feedback service completely ignorant and disinterested. The shop only benefits from the hustle and bustle at the Gipsdreieck and from the other, mostly fully booked shops around it.

Overrated, no need to come here when there are many good restaurants around

At first the waiter laughed at me because I wanted to order tea on a warm day. Tea would probably only be available in winter. Nobody drinks tea in summer, he says. Dude, even if you buy 1€ of chamomile tea, it will last at least 1 year. Hurts, right? Yes, it has to, especially given the overpriced price for the quantity. A dollop of goat cheese, not even a whole avocado and a bill of vacuum-packed beetroot, some of which were neatly small and finely cut, just not too much. We also loudly complained about the same dish at the next table. Be aware that you are saving money in all the wrong places, dear restaurant owner.

Las críticas de este lugar son mixtas. Fuimos 3 veces (en una semana! ) lo que te muestra cuánto nos gustó! Platos de pasta simples con buenos ingredientes frescos, por lo que el pescado en el menú una noche no estaba en la siguiente, ya que la frescura se había ido. Una operación de 2 personas, pero mientras estábamos allí el servicio fue rápidamente eficiente y amable. No era demasiado caro - unos 80 euros para 2 con cócteles y cerveza. Lo recomendaría encarecidamente.

Worst experience in an Italian restaurant. Unbelievable the unfriendly and disrespectful manner of the woman who made the condition. The food didn't taste good at all and it took 50 minutes. Questo is not a propio esempio di ristorante Italiano and persone gentili di Italia.

Es ist der typische kleine Italiener um die Ecke.......die Pasta ist wirklich exzellent! Auch der Tomatensalat war lecker......... Nur die Flasche Wein ist in unseren Augen stark überteuert: Den Lugana San Benedetto gibt es bei Online-Weinhändlern für ein Viertel des hier verlangten Preises......das geht gar nicht!!!!! Die Panna Cotta: Kleine, teure Portion, kaum nach Sahne schmeckend!

I normally don't review, but this place deserves one. Firstly, service is very inattentive. They forgot our drinks, we had to re-order, then they brought our starters and mains at the same time - no I don't want pasta with a side of soup. After sending back the mains, they forgot about them completely and never came back to ask or ask how our dinner is proceeding. 1/5 The food is marginal restaurant food, not deserving of the premium location of Mitte. The "ravioli" were actually tortellini that tasted and where shaped like common supermarket food. The carbonara was not creamy and definitely used basic cheese & bacon, not guanciale or pecorino. Nothing here is handmade, the restaurant advertises "home-made", which following German law only means that the food was assembled in the restaurant. With plenty pristine italian restaurants in walking distance, that pride themselves with handmade pasta, this place should be avoided. Atmosphere is ok, like any restaurant in that square.

Spoiler, at Da Piada you won't find any piadina, name was an illusion to me. Having said that, atmosphere is nice, drinks offered are good.

Very authentic Italian cuisine, a really tasty original carbonara, the pasta with veal and beef strips is perfect! Panna cotta was excellent, the espresso was great (the cup could be hotter). Eat like in Italy. The boss offers perfect and nice service. The atmosphere at the simple wooden tables is cozy.

If you want to eat your fill, order double. Portions are extremely small for a lot of money.

Although the place is simple, its food is homemade and delicious. Carbonara pasta and the one with burrata are recommended. Kitchen closes at 3:00 p.m. and reopens at 5:00 p.m.

Personable and much nicer than the touristy Italian across the street. The owner sits down and talks to the guests, has few dishes on the menu and is Italian through and through. Served a glass of wine outside on the street through the window. It is very quiet - no clearing at all.

Sowas hab ich noch nie erlebt. Bruschetta Mix für 14€ war Weißbrot in Öl frittiert, dass dann nach Fischstäbchen roch. Nicht mit Knoblauch eingerieben und dann einfach lieblos Tomatenviertel drauf. Der Mix bestand darin, dass zwei mit Frischkäse bestrichen waren. Es wurde nicht gefragt ob wir zufrieden sind. Sonst hätte ich es gerne lieber vor Ort gesagt, statt jetzt hier zu schreiben.

Ein kleines italienisches Refugium mit toller Pasta und netten Betreibern. Jedes mal ein Genuss!

Its kind of "Psaudo Italian Trattoria Carbonara is made from cheap ingredients dry pasta and standard german bacon. Service is poor and prices are high .
