We stumbled upon it by chance and were very happy! Those who wait at the tables do it with a smile and with a lot of attention; the dishes, even the Croatian ones, are really very good, balanced and with a good quality-price ratio, if we consider that we are in the center of Fussen, a very pretty and often crowded place!

We was there after Ludwig 2nd. And Ate a Grillteller for 22€ and had a dark Paulaner Weizen. The service was wery polite and courteous. The Ambient is a mix of modern and old. Recommended to eat there

Praktische Lage mitten in der Innnenstadt von Füssen, schön eingerichtet in einer passenden und authentischen Mischung aus modern und traditionell. Das Essen war gut, der Schweinebraten sensationell, die Pommes eher gewöhnlich. Es war sehr voll (hauptsächlich draußen), Wartezeit etwa eine halbe Stunde war ok. Service gut, freundlich. Einheimische Kräuterlimo sehr lecker.

A very friendly waiter received us. He said it was very busy. But if we wanted to wait a little longer for the food, we were more than welcome. And waiting was the right choice. We ordered delicious schnitzels and we felt we didn't have to wait that long. The staff is more than friendly and the food valid.

Again any time. We were almost the only guests in the afternoon, but the kitchen was ready.

During a recent visit to the Aquila restaurant in Füssen, we were immediately impressed by the restaurant's beautiful ambience. It is without a doubt a place that puts a lot of emphasis on a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, which basically made our evening very enjoyable. As for the food, our experiences were mixed. While we appreciated the presentation and choice of food, we found the quality and taste to be average, which was a bit disappointing given the beautiful surroundings and the expectations we had as a result. Another point that struck us during our visit was the service. In particular, the boss's handling of pay left us with a less positive impression. We were told that an extra plate costs €2.50 and that card payments are only accepted for amounts over €30, a practice that seems a bit outdated and customer-unfriendly to us these days. Additionally, we found the way this information was delivered to be unnecessarily strict and a little arrogant, which somewhat marred an otherwise pleasant experience. In summary, the Aquila restaurant in Füssen certainly scores points with its beautiful ambience, but there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to the food and service. A more open approach to customer feedback and adjustments to payment methods could significantly improve the experience of future guests.

We went to the inn expecting to get authentic traditional cuisine - but what we got was oversalted frozen and convenience food, even though the menu says that all the dishes are fresh and homemade. It's a shame, especially because the service was really friendly.

Very nice hosts but unfortunately the food cannot be recommended. Price-performance not consistent. We won't be coming back. Unfortunately, the food tastes very much like it came out of a bag. You can do it better at home. There is still a lot of room for improvement. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, but the chef or the concept in the kitchen should be reconsidered.

Friendly operation and fast service. The food was not worthy of any Bavarian restaurants. Frozen fries from the supermarket, tough meat and just all 4 food tasteless and canteen style.

The restaurant is located in Füssen's old town. There is a cozy corner in front of the restaurant with furs on the chairs, so you can eat or drink outside when the weather is nice. I had dinner at "Aquila" on a Tuesday lunchtime. The dining room itself is not very large and there were a few tables occupied. The restaurant is comfortably furnished - I particularly liked the light decorations in the windows. ;-) In my opinion, you should avoid using paper napkins as table decorations, the corners were already all folded or "peeled open" - that no longer looks so inviting. The service (the owner?) was polite, friendly and accommodating. He not only fetched a bowl of water for guests' dogs but also had a treat ready. The food was tasty but nothing special. My extra request (less meat, more side dishes) was easily accommodated. You didn't have to wait long for the food you ordered. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Füssen because I felt "in good hands". :-)

Anyone who knows Cevapcici and Mesano Meso will be disappointed. The Djuvec was far too dry, few onions, Ajvar tasteless, minimal cabbage side dish and the Cevape was probably a tasteless frozen product. It's a shame, no advertising for the good Croatian cuisine. Sorry, unfortunately I can't give a better rating.

Wir wollten gut essen gehen, waren auf der Suche… und fanden AQUILA. Und was sollen wir sagen… wir haben nicht gut gegessen, sondern fantastisch. Der sehr persönliche Service des Inhabers hat uns total gut gefallen. Und das auf eine gute, unaufdringliche Art. Kruno ist ein Profi durch und durch. Auch die Angestellte (Isabella?) im Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen, sehr lecker und reichlich. Schön fanden wir auch, dass auf unsere Extrawünsche bei der Essenszusammenstellung problemlos eingegangen wurde. Die gewünschte Zusatzsoße beim Hirschgulasch war reichlich und auch die Extraportion Knödel kam schnell auf den Tisch. Abgerundet wurde das Ganze durch leckere Aperitifs. Ambiente informale ma spoglio, nelle serate più affollate può capitare di dover condividere il tavolo con degli sconosciuti. Tuttavia il cibo è ben preparato e di buona qualità, anche se il prezzo è eccessivo per le quantità delle porzioni. Uno dei piatti tipici tedeschi che in teoria riempiono più che a sufficienza, qui potrebbero non bastarvi! Se questo non è un problema per voi, merita sicuramente di essere assaggiato!

Lassen wir mal die Kirche im Dorf. So auch hier. Durchschnittliche Küche, nicht wirklich bayrisch wie es der erste Eindruck erwarten lassen würde. Viele Komponenten der Speisen sind convenience aus der Truhe und vorbereitet. Der Koch wird nicht gefordert. Krautsalat entpuppt sich als ein paar schnitzelchen Kraut als Beilagendekoration u.a. Hunde willkommen.

Für uns gab es nach einem langen Tag vegetarische cevapcici. Die Bedienung war schnell und sehr freundlich. Unser Hund war kein Problem.

Eine supernette Bedienung hat uns zügig bedient. Wir haben Cevabcici und Dvecreis und ein Putenschnitzel bestellt. Beide Essen frisch gekocht - einfaches, aber ehrlich gut gekocht . Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis Wir kommen gern wieder.

Wir waren am Samstag Mittag auf der Durchreise und machten einen Stop in Füssen.Wir waren wirklich sehr positiv überrascht das man in so einer von Touristen überlaufenen Stadt (trotzdem sehr schön)so gut Essen kann.Auserdem war die Bedienung total nett ,der Chef obwohl FC Bayern Fan 😋so lieb zu unserem Sohn (Dortmund Fan).Es kamen auch Gäste die ganz gezielt dieses gute Lokal aufsuchten und das spricht für sich.

Die Bedienungen waren flott und freundlich. Wir waren zu acht. Ich habe mich für einen Allgäuspieß entschieden. Käsespätzle mit einem Fleischspießchen. Dazu Champignonrahmsauce. Geschmeckt hat es eigentlich ganz gut. Alleine die Portionsgröße war für immerhin 20 Euro eine Unverschämtheit. Eine Kinderportion wäre mehr gewesen. Ich habe das Restaurant hungrig verlassen. Ein Wiederholungsbesuch wird für mich nicht erfolgen. Keine Empfehlung, sondern leider Touristennepp.

Wir hatten als vorspeise eine Suppe und die gefüllte Paprika mein Partner den Grillteller ich den lachs und als Nachtisch den Apfelstrudel und das Schokoküchlein wir waren mit unseren Essen sehr zufrieden und das Ambiente fanden wir auch drinen sehr gemütlich. Unseren Hund wurde sogar gleich ne Schale Wasser angeboten

Lauter gezellige traditionssferen. Prachtige klederdrachten en zeer mooie livemuziek. Eten was helemaal prima en zeer vriendelijke bediening en de hele avond lokale livemuziek. Hierheen gaan, beter wordt het niet.

Essen: Wir hatten einen gemischten Salat mit Putenbrust (war gut) und den Allgäuspieß. Der Spieß war wie frittiert, der muss ja nicht vom Holzkohlegrill kommen, aber mindestens aus der Pfanne. Das ganze wurde auf Käsespätzle serviert (gut) und dann in Champignonrahmsauce ertränkt. Irgendwie wenig liebevoll und durchdacht. Dafür war der Service wirklich sehr gut. Die Bestuhlung an der Fußgängerzone ist perfekt.... Fazit: Preis-Leistungsverhlältnis ist ausbaufähig

Ich würde hier niemals wieder Essen wollen. Auf die Anmerkung dass die Vegan Cevapcici (aufgewärmtes etwas damit Vegan auf der Karte steht) eins der schlimmsten Erfahrung wahren gab es keine Reaktion. Sucht euch ein andere Stäbe zu essen.
