⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolute highlight! The venison goulash with spaetzle was a true dream – perfectly seasoned and prepared to perfection. Added to that was the incredibly friendly service, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Particularly worth mentioning: the restrooms – extremely clean and well-maintained, which unfortunately isn't a given everywhere. 👉 A restaurant that we can wholeheartedly recommend – we'll definitely be back! Great place to hang out and eat. Outside and indoor seating. Nice wine list and variety of beers and specialty drinks. Our server, Adriana, was kind, engaging, and helpful with the menu. We ate Croatian food for dinner, but wished it had been the weekend because their specials look wonderful.

Best team, despite very drunk teenagers, the team (Suad and Adriana) was competent and calm and the kitchen (Ossi) prepared the food perfectly.

During our stay in Füssen, we ate dinner at Aquila several times. The service was very friendly and the food was excellent. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Aquila restaurant.

It was really good to have someone serve traditional Bayern food but just that little bit better. I have had ragout and schweinebraten many many times in Munich, but here at Aquila the ragout was a bit different and with preiselbeere, the schweinebraten was served with a much better tasting Knödel, and Blaukraut. Really good.

There's always something to complain about, but there was nothing to complain about in this restaurant. We'll be back.

We had a very good meal on June 20th and were very satisfied with the friendly service. I am writing this review because I would like to express my respect for the staff's professionalism. At the next table, there were four Ukrainian women who complained about their hot raspberry ice cream sundae. Unfortunately, they did so in a very rude manner towards the staff, but the ladies received a new sundae anyway. Despite these unfriendly guests, the service was very polite—that's what I call professional—my respect.

It was okay. For Croatian food, it's probably very good. If you want good, home-style food, it's better to go across the street. The service was friendly and prompt. As I said, it's okay.

A gorgeous place with a cozy atmosphere and incredibly delicious food. We ordered five different dishes and none of them disappointed, everything was delicious and neat. The staff was friendly and constantly came to ask if everything was okay. I definitely recommend it.

Had a small lunch. Unfortunately, the place was too touristy. The drinks were only brought after a reminder. It's a shame, really, because the atmosphere is lovely.

We had to act immediately and write this review. To stick to the essentials, the food was delicious (at least the three different dishes we had) and the service was friendly. The portions were generous without leaving us feeling overstuffed. It was absolutely delicious, and if we ever come back to Füssen, we'll definitely be back.

The man who served us was very friendly. The food was good, but we got confused with the menu and ended up ordering something slightly different than what we wanted. The beer was good. A bit pricey.

A very beautiful, historic restaurant, very well-maintained, clean (6-star high-tech restrooms), and decorated with attention to detail. The staff was very attentive (as you'd expect, too much for me personally; the waiter came to our table 6-7 times in our 40-minute stay), very friendly and quick. Drinks were on the table in 1 minute and the food in 5 minutes. The portions are a bit small for grown-ups, though. I would have been happy with more rice for the large plate, but it tasted good.

Lovely atmosphere and the staff were fantastic. They had a special asparagus menu on which was amazing and the desserts were to die for. Loved it.

The two of us were recently in the restaurant, So for now the vegetarian cevapcici were actually quite good. Just please don't come hungry. They are mini portions and what I find funny is that I switched from rice as a side dish to fries and they simply added an extra charge of €1. The bill was €54 and we left hungry. Unfortunately, very little homemade food and a lot of frozen food despite the higher price. But what doesn't work at all is that when I paid with the EC card, I was originally told that I should add a tip here. I actually give the tip directly to the person who serves me and not to the boss at EC Kasterl, he accepted that unpleasantly. There really are much better places nearby.

We were a group of young men who wanted to enjoy a leisurely meal at this restaurant. When we entered, the owner was standing 5-6 meters away from us. We entered, wanted to sit down at an empty table, and settle in. The only thing the owner said was, "Don't you say 'Grüss Gott' here?" We greeted him from where we come from. However, a good host lets the guest settle in first and find their way around. Besides, we didn't really understand his murmuring. As guests, we weren't allowed to choose the table we wanted (the restaurant was 60% empty, tables uncovered). We then left the restaurant. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for hospitality reasons.

The waiter seated us other guests at the table, even though other tables were free. He sorts the guests at the door, others were allowed to go straight to the empty table, even though there was no reservation. When I asked him about it, he said I had no idea about gastronomy. I travel abroad very often. I've never experienced anything like that! The roast was like the sole of a shoe, leave it alone. Cheese spaetzle was OK. The salmon was ok. In general I would recommend another restaurant.

Great service and decent food (I really loved their Kässspatzle). It was an excellent experience overall, though being asked to share a four-person table with an individual (so 2+1 people) was a little awkward given no shared language.

Fantastic find in the pretty town of Füssen, not far from the famous castles. Delicious meals, especially the braised pork cheeks with spaetzle and red cabbage. Friendly and fast service - and don't forget to visit the touch-free toilets (a first for me!)

A very friendly waiter received us. He said it was very busy. But if we wanted to wait a little longer for the food, we were more than welcome. And waiting was the right choice. We ordered delicious schnitzels and we felt we didn't have to wait that long. The staff are more than friendly and the food amazing.

Very good restaurant, highly recommended! Went there with an exchange group from Japan, 17 people in total, spontaneously got a table and were served quickly. The currywurst was very good! At the end there was a free chocolate lollipop or Haribo gold bear for everyone.

Arrived in town and needed to eat some dinner. Walked around the area and checked out menus, prices, and if they had people inside eating. This one checked all 3 boxes. Staff was helpful and quick. Had the (pork) schnitzel with pommes frites (french fries). It was brought out quick and hot, with a lemon wedge for the schnitzel and mayonnaise and ketchup for the fries. The fries were crisp and hot. The schnitzel was hot, seasoned well, and tasty. I didn't save room for desert, but they had a variety of offerings. I also had an Aperol spritz that was perfect. Wide variety of wines and beers as well. The atmosphere was lovely. The building was from the 1600s (photos and drawings at the back of the menu) and they had put some Christmas flourishes out.

Finally a restaurant where everything is obviously right. Very good food, nice & “clean” restaurant, reasonable prices - all with friendliness. Great, it's a shame that the restaurant isn't at home, we were only in Füssen for a short trip.

Hier waren wir bei einem Besuch in Füssen Samstagabend zum Essen eingekehrt. Wir hatten nicht reserviert und bekamen trotzdem noch einen Tisch. Der Service war fix und nett. Wir hatten beide einen Allgäuspiess mit Spätzle, der sehr lecker war. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!

Cleared but dirty table...when asked to clean it, the "waiter" became very rude. The “waiter” is completely overwhelmed with the few tables. Stopped by five times and ran empty three times. We stumbled upon it by chance and were very happy! Those who wait at the tables do it with a smile and with a lot of attention; the dishes, even the Croatian ones, are really very good, balanced and with a good quality-price ratio, if we consider that we are in the center of Fussen, a very pretty and often crowded place!

We was there after Ludwig 2nd. And Ate a Grillteller for 22€ and had a dark Paulaner Weizen. The service was wery polite and courteous. The Ambient is a mix of modern and old. Recommended to eat there

Siamo stati 3 giorni a Fussen e come ultima sera abbiamo deciso di fermarci da Aquila per le buone recensioni che confermo in pieno. Locale davvero grazioso, cameriere/i in abiti bavaresi, servizio impeccabile e soprattutto davvero gentile e premuroso. Abbiamo preso 3 porzioni di bratwurst con patate fritte, una porzione di canederli e una di splatzle, una birra, una coca e 2 acqua. 65€ totale. Devo dire che nei locali tipici bavaresi si spende meno rispetto a chi propone cucina di altre nazioni.

Praktische Lage mitten in der Innnenstadt von Füssen, schön eingerichtet in einer passenden und authentischen Mischung aus modern und traditionell. Das Essen war gut, der Schweinebraten sensationell, die Pommes eher gewöhnlich. Es war sehr voll (hauptsächlich draußen), Wartezeit etwa eine halbe Stunde war ok. Service gut, freundlich. Einheimische Kräuterlimo sehr lecker.
