We were there for dinner on 08/27/2024. We took a shank (to be avoided) and one of their meat dishes (roast pork - this was pleasant). The surprise was to find 12 Euros on the bill for two baskets of bread with 4 pieces each inside. Furthermore...to pay by card, they ask you for an additional commission of 5 Euros. Definitely avoid this restaurant.

Nice restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. Home-style food, King Ludwig beer, which you don't get very often, and very nice staff. We were very satisfied

Worm in my salad. To be fair they took it off the bill, but I cannot recommend.

Waiting times to order and long waits for dishes, food was normal. The bad surprise when paying the bill was that they imposed a 30% tip on us. A place not recommended for this incorrect practice

That was nothing. Not worth it. I would have expected tradition and craftsmanship in this beautiful location in Füssen. It didn't taste particularly good, there wasn't enough after a long hike (3 potato wedges?!?, vegetables and aubergines) and there were ready-made products. The beer mug stuck to the handle. I actually know things differently in Bavaria.

The service guys were very nice, my son was stung by a wasp and they immediately brought ice to cool it down and kept bringing it back. The food was really nothing special and wasn't particularly impressive either. It's a shame that you can't make a reservation.

Unfortunately we didn't like it. First we ordered water in 0.4l, but we brought 0.3l which was of course more expensive. Then there are the drinks in unsightly beer mugs, where the amount of drink was difficult to see. The beer we ordered didn't really taste good either. Food was not good, was lukewarm and lacked taste. The complained about cheese spaetzle took a long time to arrive and seemed to have been forgotten by the staff. Pork knuckle was very fatty.

We had our 40kg maremmana with us. They were super helpful. Excellent food.

The food didn't taste particularly good, the male waitress constantly spoke in their Eastern European native language even though it was supposedly a German restaurant. The waitress's ogling of female guests finished me off. Best 0 stars!

Best german restaurant we have had on our visit in Germany. Pork knuckle, chicken breast and mushroom soup are all very yummy. Highly recommended :)

A man wasn't served well here, I ate something, drank, then waited 30 minutes. Nobody came, so I paid and left and had something to drink somewhere else. A man and a woman had to wait a long time for their card. If you don't want to earn anything, it's your own fault

It was the best restaurant my friend and I have ever visited so far, we were lucky because there wasn't that much going on here today. The ambience is excellent and it is not that loud. The food was super delicious! The food was delivered within 15 minutes and we didn't expect it to taste like this! Thanks to the chef!

I can only rate the restaurant/beer garden and we didn't like that. Service took a long time to arrive, food wasn't really good, let alone freshly prepared. When we asked if the soup was homemade, we were ignored.

The food was rather bad. The service was friendly. The guest room is old, run down and dirty.

Without a shadow of a doubt it is one of the worst trattorias in the area. Lumpy and greasy chips, breaded steak even greasier than chips, hot beer full of foam (don't they know how to tap beer or do they do it especially for Italians?). I was hoping they would make up for it with the dessert, but instead they confirmed the incompetence of the "cook". One of the worst strudels I've ever eaten, worse than the frozen ones from the supermarket. I certainly ate better in the university canteens and in the barracks. As for the service it is below standard, unprofessional, sloppy and embarrassing to say the least.

Comida muy rica y buena calidad precio, los platos con bastante comida. Éramos 4 y con tres platos íbamos de sobra. Servicio excelente, muy amables, buen ambiente.

El servicio espléndido, el camarero muy majo. Pedimos el codillo (Gegrillte Stelzen) y las costillas (Gegrillte Rippenstücke). También pedimos el escalope aunque no fue el mejor plato (Scheiben von den Afterballen). Nosotros con tres platos comimos cuatro personas de sobra (15-20€/persona). Calidad-precio genial. Lo recomiendo totalmente. Platos típicos a un precio equivalente.

Cheese spaetzle with mixed salad and two beers! Right on the market square in the sun! Heart, what do you want more? The hop bowl from the barrel is served in a stone jug, you have to like it. I prefer glass, but as a temporary knight you have no choice. Cheap prices for a location with this location. And if you think cheap doesn't taste good, no no, the cheese spaetzle were really tasty. The inside area also seems cozy, but it was packed. Outside is nicer. Thank you!

Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante la sera del compleanno di mio marito, ho chiesto al cameriere (molto gentile e disponibile) se potevano mettere una candelina sul dolce che avrebbe ordinato (per fargli una sorpresa) e lui si è reso molto disponibile. Il cibo è buono, anche le birre e i dolci. Sicuramente lo consiglio.

Overordnet en rigtig god oplevelse. 1. En god velkomst af meget venlig personale. 2. Vi sad i baggården, som var meget hyggelig. 3. Den kvindelige tjener var meget venlig, og var hurtig til at finde et fint bord og tage mod bestilling af drikkevarer. 4. Menukortet var overskueligt og udvalget var godt. 5. Vores drikkevarer kom hurtigt og vi bestilte maden da vi fik drikkevarer. 6. Den kvindelige tjener havde godt styr på det hele, de andre virkede meget forvirret. De burde få styr på deres bord nr. oversigt, vi fik flere gange sat mad og drikke på vores bord som ikke var til os, og den mandelige tjener kunne ikke finde de rigtige borde. 7. Vi ventede over 1 time på vores mad, hvilke var rigtig lang tid. Det kan godt forbedres. 8. Maden var god og der var rigeligt. 9. Prisen var også meget rimelig. 10. Der var skrevet drikke på regningen som vi ikke havde fået, og det virker ikke til at man har helt styr på bordene.

Eaten divinely. Currywurst seasoned with a delicious tomato sauce. The sauerkraut and potatoes are good too. I had the cask beer, excellent. Overall both I and the others who were with me ate well, so I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

An excellent lunch, huge pork knuckles and long grilled pork ribs. Simply fantastic. It tasted very good and we literally licked our fingers. The accompanying beer, dark or light, was also very tasty. Ambient music in the background and a digestive drink at the end. Just real. Thank you also to the service. A truly perfect end to a fantastic week. Thank you for that.

The waiters were very nice and the interior looks dope, but the food was pretty average and a bit overpriced.

I would like to point out that the review refers to the inn and not to a hotel. We had dinner in this place tasting various traditional Bavarian dishes. Without a doubt the cheese spatzle are the flagship of the restaurant, delicious! The ribs and the mushroom soup served in a basket of crunchy bread are also good. Super friendly staff (even with children) and fun medieval setting. Above average for the area.

We were there with the Schlemmerblock and ate in the beer garden, which is beautifully located in the inner courtyard. The food came quickly, we had cheese sparrows with salad and chicken steak. Everything tasted good. The staff was also very friendly, except that I would have received almost 20 euros short of change if I hadn't pointed this out to the waitress.

A touch of the Middle Ages in the middle of Füssen's old town, the always full tables in front of the inn in the pedestrian zone speak for themselves... Please avoid this inn. And when you look at the recessions, nothing has changed despite some negative experiences

Super rustic restaurant in terms of facilities... Unfortunately the food wasn't such a hit, the special didn't taste good (wasn't mixed properly) The staff was rather uncaring and when we didn't give us a tip, they simply threw our change on the table. It seemed as if they had simply taken over the restaurant without any basic knowledge of catering (that's how it seemed to me, I'm from the catering industry myself)

The food per se is okay (mediocre), but the waitress is clearly discriminated, she served the white people first even though we ordered way earlier, so I did not gave her any tips.

Well, the food looks better in the photos than in reality. My partner and I had to return the food because it was served lukewarm. When it came back it wasn't any better. The roast pork was dry, the dumplings and the sauce tasted like nothing. The cook failed in his craft. Too bad about the money

Whatever this place once had, it's lost it now. Very basic food which may appease some tourists looking for a medieval style lunch, but for anyone looking for some authentic Bavarian food, keep looking. Service was good, and the price was ok. Possibly the wort Helles I've had in Bavaria.

Optisch sehr nettes Lokal, Um ein kühles Bier zu trinken, völlig in Ordnung.“ABER“ Das Essen leider ungenießbar. Wir hatten ein Kinder Schnitzel eine Rinderroulade und Käsespätzle. Das Schnitzel war total versalzen. Die Pommes waren doppelt frittiert und lauwarm. Wir hatten die Rinderroulade mit Salzkartoffeln bestellt. Die Salzkartoffeln waren fertig geschält, geschwefelt in lieblose Scheiben geschnitten und ungesalzen. Die Sauce war komplett klumpig , die Roulade hatte auch eine starken Convenience Touch, Der Rotkohl war gut. Die Käsespätzle waren mit gekörnter Brühe zubereitet und ebenfalls ungenießbar. Wir haben sofort alle drei essen zurückgehen lassen. Daraufhin kam der Koch an den Tisch und fing an lautstark zu diskutieren ein Absolutes „NoGo“. Meine Frau und ich kommen beide aus der Gastronomie. Haben 15 Jahre Berufserfahrung geben viel Essen, aber so etwas haben wir zum Glück noch nicht erleben müssen. Die Servicekraft muss in der Küche dermaßen angebrüllt worden sein, dass sie weinend an der Kasse stand. Der Service hat die Essen anstandslos von der Rechnung genommen. Dies Der einzige, positive Eindruck des Restaurants.

The staff was very friendly, the food tasted great and the prices were completely reasonable.

Fussen restaurants were pretty packed on a week night so we decided to come to Krone for some more authentic German food and we were delighted. Beer is always a great start. Between the schnitzel and pork, there are some great menu options. Service really good too, quick on the orders and serving.

Actually very nice, but the toilets were so dirty that we couldn't drink anything and especially not eat anything......bä

A nice rustic restaurant - the beer mugs and the description of the dishes are interesting. We ate well. The cheese spaetzle with salad was delicious. The sausages on sauerkraut were also good and the portions were really generous. Definitely very good value for money. The service was friendly and attentive.

Wasn’t that bad...FYI- CASH ONLY But I will definitely agree the staff is grumpy and irritated that you need some time to try and figure out what the hell you want to order. They have a large menu - however, it’s not laminated and mine was annoying to look through. I kept having to flatten out the page protector to read the menu. Sounds like a petty complaint, I know. While the staff did come take our order they never checked back on us for a beer refill or anything until it was time for our check. We were in the enclosed beer garden and it was pouring outside so we were biding our time... We eventually left in the pouring rain, rather than stay for a second beer we never offered... 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I ordered pork ribs here. This was the worst pork ribs in my life. You can see in the photo how it looks like. There's on top of the ribs you can't see the meat because it's not exist. It seems like some body cut the meat from on the top from my pork ribs before they brought it to me. The waiter was good.
