A very good restaurant with super delicious dishes made with natural ingredients. There's something for everyone.

We ate at "Der Olivenbauer" in Füssen and were absolutely thrilled! The ambiance is cozy and authentic – you immediately feel welcome. The service was warm, attentive, and unobtrusive. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the food: freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The Mediterranean flavors bring a true holiday feeling to the plate. The wine selection also complements the meal perfectly. The value for money is absolutely spot on. If you're in Füssen, you shouldn't miss this restaurant – we'll definitely be back!

Three of us got a table on a Saturday evening even though we hadn't reserved. Even though it was busy, we had privacy thanks to small seating areas and room dividers. Beautifully decorated. The staff were quick, competent, friendly, and always up for a joke. The food was very tasty – the mixed grill is recommended. We'd be back!

Unfortunately, a complete failure! We've eaten well several times a week for the past few years, but those days seem to be over. The schnitzel was okay, but the pizza was cold and the burgers were poorly topped. Everything was below the standard of delivery food. The grilled dishes on the second evening were unfortunately even worse. The meat was grilled completely dry, the vegetables were oversalted, and the service wasn't up to par. It's sad that food waste is produced here according to plan and then served.

Yes, and full marks again. After my bad experience at Hopfensee, we went back to the olive farmer in Füssen. To cut a long story short. The restaurant was very busy today, August 20, 2025. Very friendly waiters, Quick orders, food on the table 15 minutes later. Our dog 🐕 also received a lot of attention. At the end, we had a very pleasant conversation with the waiter and the manager. You feel at home here. All I can say is: If you're looking for an olive farmer, then go to the one in Füssen 👍👍👍👍

I've been a regular guest at the Olivenbauern for almost 10 years now. Sometimes several times a week, depending on when work takes me to Füssen. Delicious food, good service, and a great beer garden. I can highly recommend it.

A lovely restaurant with a lovely ambiance, and you can also sit outside in the beer garden. Plenty of seating is available; we've been there three times without a reservation and always got a table. The food selection is very large, so there's something for everyone. They even have gluten-free pizza. The staff is also super friendly. The Kaiserschmarrn is highly recommended. We'll definitely be back!

It was very nice at the olive farmer's. The crew was fantastic and incredibly friendly, and they certainly made sure you were on the right level. All in all, the portions looked very good. They were definitely big enough, and most of the food was very, very tasty. Unfortunately, I was a bit unlucky with my cordon bleu, as it was rather dry and a bit burnt. However, I tried the other dishes and couldn't find any faults. I gave them five stars because I think this was just a slip-up, and all the other dishes were delicious.

A very cozy, rustic restaurant with excellent, down-to-earth cuisine, it's always been delicious! The beer garden and the beers from the in-house brewery are also highly recommended. Very nice restaurant, something for everyone

I found the food, ambiance, and service to be average at best. The interior has a cafeteria feel, and the food arrived super quickly, which reinforces the quality of the food, which is more like convenience food. The play area for children is nice, but you wouldn't want to sit next to it. 😉 Conclusion: Adequate for parents with small children, but otherwise, the lovely Füssen has much more to offer.

Good food, large and tasty portions

The nicest thing you can say about the Wiener Schnitzel is that the fries are only slightly oversalted. For €25, it's pretty soggy. Add-ons like a salad cost a hefty surcharge. There are also cards at the tables asking you to leave a review in exchange for a small gift. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone; it's probably aimed more at careless tourists.

Great place for lunch after a visit to the nearby castle. Nice enterior, friendly and kind waiters, delicious meals. Would definitely return primarily because of the waiters who made our lunch feel like homemade at a friend's house.

On the way back from Italy. Then I understand that you have to get used to it, but the pizza here is really not ok. Not crispy, floury, dough made from regular bread dough??. No idea. Also buried under a huge mountain of rocket. By the way, it is a huge food factory with a lot of dishes on the menu. I can't judge the other dishes, but I hope they are better than the pizzas

Mediocre food in a noisy atmosphere - The restaurant was very busy during peak hours on a Friday evening, resulting in a high noise level. Not recommended for those looking for a quiet, cozy place to eat. After a short wait, we were assigned a table. The drinks were nothing to complain about. The food was mediocre at best. The original Wiener Schnitzel was okay, cooked a bit overtime, but €25 is a bit too expensive given the overall quality. The ordered cranberry sauce was not served despite repeated requests, but was included on the bill (although this was corrected upon notification). The vegan soy gyro is not recommended. Most of it arrived cold to lukewarm, and the consistency was rubbery and stringy.

A waiter comes out, but sits down without saying hello and chats privately with fellow countrymen. The next one stands at the door, looks at us, and moves on. Now we sat outside for 10 minutes and were neither noticed nor served. Nice beer garden. Then we'll just take the profits elsewhere.

Very disappointed with our visit to this restaurant. The number of positive reviews per day is very suspect... because on the day of our visit, each table's dishes were still half-full... Honestly, apart from the price, which was reasonable, the rest was really not great... there were even traces of other dishes in ours! We've eaten at other restaurants in Füssen with lower Google reviews and much better quality. In summary, the restaurant's setting is nice, the service is decent, but the food is very average...
