!!!!!!!!ATTENTION TOURIST TRAP!!!!!!!! If I could I wouldn't give this disappointment a single star as it deserves!!! The Cordon Bleu simply tasted like rubber and could have been a €2 schnitzel from a discount store. Prices of usually €20 or more are far too much for that. The ambience isn't great either, except for the nice tables. You are served by unmotivated employees. I expected more from the name “Schnitzelhaus”. We planned to go to a beautiful old Bavarian inn. When we saw this terrible atmosphere we wanted to leave but gave the place another chance. The only thing I can judge well is the Mexican schnitzel. Which is at least partially delicious.

Fast, simple, effective. Very good, wide variety of Schnitzel in terms of type of meat and side dish. Very hearty!

Unfortunately, I can't explain where these great reviews come from. We were very disappointed with this meal. The Cordon Bleu tasted like it came from the freezer...all the other dishes weren't much better and at a price that would make your eyes water. I definitely can't recommend this!!! Never felt so ripped off!

We went to the Schnitzelhaus for lunch today. Friendly service, good selection of food and a nice atmosphere. We had Jägerschnitzel with spaetzle and a schnitzel with meatloaf, fried egg and gratinated with cheese. Plus fries. The portions were sufficient and we enjoyed it very much. We will come again.

Because we are schnitzel lovers, we visited this restaurant and it was a bit disappointing. We had a wiener schnitzel (veal, that's how it should actually be ;) and a small salad. We found the schnitzels a bit on the small side and quite thin. He was quite nice but for €30 we expected more. On the other hand, the salad was a delight, in fact, this was the best "beilagensalat" of 2 weeks of eating out. Fresh and various things were in it such as lettuce, cabbage, carrot, kartoffelsalat, tasty dressing, etc. The fries were okay but nothing more than that. The service was very nice and attentive.

The Schnitzrl are convenience goods, thin, more breading than meat, the fries are soft and full of fat. I expect a different quality from a schnitzel restaurant. The ambience is very very simple and actually expresses the quality of the food.

Verschrikkelijk was het. De scnitzels zijn gefrituurd, vet, overladen met kaas of saus. Wel aardige bediening, maar verder zonde van je geld.

Ordered here because of the good reviews. Complete failure. Veal schnitzel for €27 is priced at a star level and tastes like frozen food. Breading not fluffy, but firm to the meat. Not veal schnitzel, but rather sausage meat in the form of a schnitzel. Extra side salad consists of 50% potato salad, which was included anyway. But it doesn't taste like anything either. Portion size large. If you value quantity over quality and just want to be full, this is the right place for you. Also only cash payment, even though there is a card on the door. When the cash was organized, the schnitzels were of course cold.

Big portion of tasty schnitzel. The coke with wheat beer is a must to try.

Sorry, but I can't understand the good reviews. We were guided by the great reviews and were disappointed. Price/performance is not right at all. So far the worst schnitzel we have ever eaten. A pity! The ambience is not our taste.

Schnitzel was delicious and the service was very nice. We took a seat outside despite the rain because inside there was a strong smell of frying fat. We took one with Kässpätzle and one without. We personally liked the schnitzel with potato salad better, although the cheese spaetzle was excellent

Incredibly beautiful! Incredibly delicious food, friendly staff and a lovingly furnished guest room. Even my son really liked the tree with his hands. I can only rave about the food again, EVERYONE who likes schnitzel will find something here

If you want to have a fantastic meal of local cuisine, then this is where you must go. All 4 of our meals were absolutely delicious, enormous portions, and one of the most delicious dinners that we had on our whole 3 week Vacation in Europe!!!

We tried Schnitzelhaus after seeing good reviews here and we were not disappointed. Upon entry, we were a little worried in the appearance -- sort of touristy and fast-foodish. The menu contained numerous interesting versions of scnitzel. Both that we tried were delicious with nice sized portions. The side with potatoes, bacon and onions was especially tasty. Service was prompt and accommodating.

For quick hunger! Unfortunately it doesn't taste particularly good and it's way too expensive. The quality of the meat (pork) in particular leaves something to be desired. The drinks weren't very tasty either. The tastiest thing was the small mini salad on the plate. The service was very friendly!

Simple and simply furnished. The menu is manageable and still has something for every taste. Waitress very friendly despite the fact that she does everything alone. Schnitzel tasted delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Since the change of ownership, the food no longer tastes good and is not beautifully presented either. We were so looking forward to the Schnitzelhaus and were extremely disappointed. The high prices are absolutely no longer justified.

We spontaneously wanted to eat here today. You could see from afar that the restaurant was busy. We stood at the door and waited for the waitress to politely ask if there was a table available. It would be absolutely no problem for us if it wasn't like that because we didn't have a reservation. But when we asked, the waitress brushed us off with something like “Not in the near future” so that we don’t want to set foot in the shop in the future. Unfortunately we couldn't judge the food, but the service was absolutely unfriendly and uninviting.

They have an interesting fusion food for Schnitzel. I tried Mexican schnitzel. To compensate to the spicy jalapenos they added sweet potato fries as base. This dish is very delicious. The prices are on a bit of higher side but the staff were nice and for the food it is worth it. It is located in the heart of Füssen a good place to cool down after a day long hike to Neuschwanstein

I ordered the pork schnitzel with creamy mushroom sauce and potatoes with onion and bacon. The sauce and the potatoes were incredibly salty. There is something wrong with dropping too much salt in the food. disappointed as the schnitzel was good. The lady serving was very nice. Shame about too much salt. Maybe I was unlucky because other people food was not overly salty…

Unfortunately there were no drinks. The soft drinks have no carbon dioxide and taste like they come from SodaStream with syrup. Disgusting Schnitzel was okay but not the burner. Prices: for twenty kilos of euros the schnitzel should be more convincing. The service was very accommodating and the toilets were clean.

Big portions and the food is delicious

Cutlets of various flavors and with a choice of different meat (chicken, pork and veal). The one with mushrooms and also the one with eggs and ham are very good. The potato salad is excellent. Fast service. In a "gallery" with tables also outdoors, in front of other restaurants. Prices around 20/25 euros each.

Fart dry, it's not that it doesn't taste good, but guys, if I'm served a schnitzel for 21€, then I expect the corresponding quality and not a dish for 8€ canteen costs. An industrial schnitzel, fried potatoes from a bag, an egg fried to death and the whole thing baked with a thick layer of cheese. Guys, focus on quality and not on making quick money.

Teuer für ungerechtfertigte Portionsgrößen! Wir waren schon mehrmals dort, aber heute war es eine richtige Frechheit Cordon bleu für 20,30€ bestellt , das Fleisch halbiert und dann auspaniert und nur 10 Pommes. Das Schnitzel auch nur ein paar Pommes dazu für 20€. Direkt was zur Bedienung gesagt die darauf hin den Chef angerufen hat. Der ist dann gekommen. Und hat uns dann aufgezählt wieviel Gramm angeblich auf dem Teller liegen, als wir ihm dann sagten das wir es von dem Restaurant anders gewohnt sind. Hat er uns direkt gesagt das wir nicht zahlen müssen, aber direkt gehen dürfen. Das nenne ich mal der Gast ist König!(nicht) Leider sehr enttäuschend und definitiv nicht mehr zu empfehlen.

Rarely eaten so badly.. way too expensive.! Sweet potato fries completely hard. Uncomfortable in the restaurant! Potato salad only tastes like mustard.

Good place to go if you want to try a different type of Schnitzel. They have new ways of making the dish, whether American, Mexican... the prices are a little high but in Germany it is what you usually pay for a Schnitzel. At least here they are something with a different touch

We had some phenomenal schnitzel here, definitely some of the best in the region with generous portions and accompanied by great German beer. Staff were also very kind and accommodating.

Price vs. performance poor in relation to quality. See pictures map. Ambience less nice. The toilet floor also needs urgent cleaning because your shoes were stuck to the floor. The friendly manner of the staff is remarkable.

We were very disappointed. Somehow we imagined something different from a schnitzel house. The food was tasty, but all components were convenience products. Unfortunately it's far too expensive for that and I can do the same thing at home.

I was there around 12:00 on weekdays. The schnitzel menu was just handed to me without a word. When I asked, I was told quite unkindly that there was only schnitzel. I was really looking forward to a little something, like a currywurst. A pity. The restaurant is decorated quite invitingly.

If you like schnitzel, you've come to the right place. The lady was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The furnishings are simple and functional. The ceiling with the boxes is a good idea. Toilets clean. Quite expensive for a “simple” schnitzel with fries, but the portion was also larger. As expected, it tasted like what you ordered. Overall we can recommend it.

The worst and most disgusting chicken schnitzel I have ever eaten!!! The fries and also the schnitzel were completely over salted and the schnitzel was also very "greasy" (unfortunately I can't find a better word). I couldn't eat it despite being very hungry. Shortly before leaving I saw the cook coming out of the kitchen and coughing into his open hand... I don't have to say anything more. The music selection also took some getting used to and was far too loud. Only the lady from the service was polite and quick. Only she deserves the star.

Doesn't live up to its name. We were in Füssen for a short vacation and wanted to try different types of schnitzel. My friend ordered the farmer's schnitzel with fries and I thought that in a restaurant that only sells schnitzel, the original Viennese veal schnitzel should be very good. Overall, unfortunately a disappointment. The schnitzel was okay, but not nearly what you would expect for the price of almost €27. The farmer's schnitzel was quite good, but costs almost €21. Side dishes were delicious (fries and fried potatoes) and the prices for drinks were okay too. The ambience wasn't really our thing either. The (horrible) modern country music, which accompanied the stay relatively loudly, made you want to throw out what you had just eaten straight away. But well, tastes vary considerably here.

After a whole day of marching, we wanted a huge portion of cooked food. We are perfectly satisfied with our choice, we got hearty portions, buttery Schnitzel! The waitress was very nice and attentive, hearing our poor German language skills, she continued to take the order with a friendly smile.

Es hat sich wirklich geändert - und leider nicht zum Positiven! Die Preise haben MERKLICH angezogen und die Portionen MERKLICH abgenommen!!!!! Das Essen schmeckt schon gut, aber so gut wie kein Schnitzel unter 20€????? Und das bei deutlich verminderter Portion????? Sorry, aber hier ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis komplett verrutscht! Ja, die Kosten (Energie, Einkauf, Service etc.) sind gestiegen, aber so abartig verteuert hat sich kein einziges Restaurant meiner Kenntnis... und die haben das gleiche Problem. Es ist nach wie vor geschmacklich gut, aber wenn die mickerigen Portionen bei den Preisen so bleiben, suchen wir definitiv nach Alternativen. Für Familien daher leider nicht (mehr) geeignet! Schade, war immer unsere Anlauf-Station Nr. 1 in Füssen...jetzt wohl nicht mehr....

Good food at good prices. The place is a bit hidden from the main roads, so might be hard to find, but definitely good for a Schnitzel and a Beer. I had the Jägerschnitzel with Bratkartoffeln and was very good!

Sehr leckeres Schnitzel, coole Variationen. Ambiente ist ok. Service war nett :) die Preise finde ich persönlich überteuert und stehen in keinem Verhältnis. Vor allem haben wir live die Preiserhöhung in der Karte mitbekommen. Einfach mal 3€ Zuschlag kann man nicht mit der Mehrwertsteuererhöhung auf 19% begründen.

Really great schnitzel and accompaniments (fried potatoes with bacon), served together with refreshing beer .... all enjoyed whilst listening to traditional accordion music (perhaps my most german experience ever!). Doesn't look much upon entering, however, the food more than made up for it.

Ciekawy koncept restauracji - sznycle w wielu wersjach podania! Są zarówno bardziej klasyczne opcje jak i bardziej szalone np. w stylu meksykańskim lub barbecue. Miłe miejsce z przyjazna obsługą. Ceny są spore, ale i porcje duże, dla nas wręcz trochę za duże. Na pewno warto przyjść i spróbować jakiegoś ciekawego sznycla !

Der Beilagensalat ist gut gemeint allerdings eine Mischung aus vielen Salaten in einem Schälchen . Es vermengt sich die Soße von Kartoffelsalat, Krautsalat, Rettich und Eisbergsalat. Das ist so absolut nicht essbar. Mein persönlicher Eindruck ist, das die Schnitzel nicht Handwerklich hergestellt werden. Die Pommes liegen unter dem Schnitzel. Nichts für mich!

Leckere Schnitzel, netter Service Warmer Kartoffelsalat lecker… Das einzigste was ich nicht mag… keine Kartenzahlung möglich! Für Kinder bis ca. 10 Jahre reicht ein leerer Teller. ☺️

Schnitzel war okay, leider vollständig mit Soße übergossen die nicht gut war (Soßenpulver). Warum man Soße zu einem Schnitzel nicht extra serviert, bleibt mir ein Rätsel. Preis/Leistung nicht gut. Da gibts in Füssen bessere Schnitzel für weniger Geld. Hätte mehr erwartet. Die Leistung ersprach nicht der Guten Bewertung.

Lekkere schnitzels, in een zijstraatje dus goed opletten bij het zoeken. Lekker knus, schone wc’s, goeie porties voor de prijs. Veel keus in verschillende schnitzels en bijgerechten. Jammer dat de friet onder de schnitzel ligt want daardoor worden de frietjes erg nat/ vet van de friet. Verder top! Lekker wijntje en bier.
