It's a shame that the (surely well-deserved) company holiday wasn't published on Google Maps or the website...

We found out about it online. We wanted to stop by today. The door was locked. The sign on the door said "Company Holidays." Thank you very much! If you already have a website, you should maintain it and keep it up-to-date with opening hours and holiday information for tourists who might drive several kilometers to stop there.

We visited this restaurant for the first time today and were very pleasantly surprised. The schnitzels were freshly cooked and everything, including the sauces, was excellent. We'd love to come back.

The food is all fresh. The service is friendly. The price/performance ratio is 100% OK.

The food was very good. Large portions and incredibly tasty. We had the Wiener Schnitzel (pork/chicken). It came with good fries or fried potatoes and a small salad. For these two dishes, plus a 0.5-liter drink each, it came to just under €50. A bit too expensive, considering the slightly "snack-like" atmosphere. Nevertheless, I have to say, especially given the excellent service and short wait times, I highly recommend it.

I wouldn't recommend it. The food is definitely not homemade and frozen, and the prices are outrageous. I'm really sorry for the money we paid, because the food was simply inedible. It was so greasy that they simply took a bottle of grease and poured it over it. And that was the case with each of our three dishes. See picture. The only thing I can praise is that the service employee was nice and really accommodating. What was strange, however, was that the employee from the Asian shop across the street came and we had to pay him – which makes me wonder if they belong together.

We went with our daughters and we all loved it. Huge portions and escalopes of every kind, topped with everything you could imagine. We really enjoyed this place.

The food was good, though the portions weren't huge. The service wasn't as good. One person's food arrived much earlier, so it was gone before the other person's. A real shame. When we paid, we discovered they didn't accept Maestro cards, so we had to go to the ATM to get cash.

We went there because of the good reviews. I ordered potato soup, which unfortunately was just soup from a packet, very disappointing.

Ambience okay, food excellent... Farmer's schnitzel amazing... 1 star deducted because only Girocard is accepted... no debit or similar cards... observed 3 other guests who had to walk to the nearest ATM... a shame...

This place is highly recommended. Not a restaurant in the traditional sense, but it's interestingly arranged. The staff was really attentive and friendly. The various schnitzel variations are truly interesting—there's definitely something for every taste.

Great schnitzels! A nice menu with many different types of schnitzels. We had a regular schnitzel, a hunter's schnitzel, and an alpine schnitzel. The schnitzels are freshly breaded and beautifully served. Delicious with fried potatoes, spatzle, or fries. The service was friendly. A high chair is available.

We searched on Google and found the "Schnitzelhaus." When we arrived, I thought we were in the wrong place. It was quite small and the first impression was a bit odd. The food, however, was very good. We had Wiener Schnitzel, Jägerschnitzel, potato soup, and a side salad. The young man who served us was very nice. All in all, a good place to eat if you're hungry 👍🏽 The ambiance is a bit of a letdown, but it's a matter of taste.

A restaurant in an alley that specializes in snitzel. Decent food, good portions. A little overly high price for the food, Should definitely inform in advance that they only accept German visas, cards or cash. I think it's a bit special in 2025 to not accept visas from other countries...

It's ok, not authentic schnitzel but all sorts of creative takes. Great if you don't want to pay top dollar but are hungry and want to try something different. You'll be well-filled.

Never again! The staff was friendly, but overwhelmed, or rather incredibly helpless. A side salad online for €3.90, hidden on the menu for €7.50, consisting of a small bowl of lettuce leaves, 5 cucumber slices, 1/4 tomato (not recommended!), some beetroot, and industrial dressing. The fried potatoes were almost inedible.

I do not speak much German - and the staff here worked with me very well, very polite. The food (I had the Hawaii Schnitzel) was very good, both the look and the taste. The staff seemed happy and relaxed, like they enjoyed their job, and the cozy hole in the wall feel of the location is a plus as well. Prices seemed reasonable, though I don't have much reference. The portion was quite sizable.

Not recommended! The staff was friendly, but overwhelmed, untrained, and helpless. Very kind and friendly owner. The quality of the food is at best fast food, so you can easily spend half or even less for the same things. In Bavaria so far I have always eaten pretty badly and spent a lot so it is not particularly to blame.

Our schnitzel (smothered with cheese and ham) was delicious. We also enjoyed the fries and spatzle. Sitting outside was pleasant.

I can't recommend this restaurant. The service was generally attentive and, for example, initially arrived quickly to order our drinks, but we were immediately yelled at with "The number!" as soon as we mentioned the dish. The Coke Zero we ordered was very watery and tasted completely awful, and my dish wasn't served until my partner had already finished three-quarters of his meal. We ordered Wiener Schnitzel and Käsespätzle and were not at all satisfied. The schnitzel was definitely frozen, and the Spätzle were also store-bought. This is completely out of proportion to the prices, so we can only advise against this restaurant! The Käsespätzle portion is also only a small one, which isn't mentioned anywhere and is hardly reflected in the price.

I ate there with my girlfriend. I had a Wiener Schnitzel (original) and she had the Käsespätzle. We were both very disappointed. For a restaurant that calls itself a Schnitzelhaus and specializes in that, the schnitzels were not good. They were snack quality at best. If you like good schnitzel and are looking for one, you shouldn't eat here. My girlfriend didn't like the Käsespätzle at all and the portion was quite small. We both had a Coke Zero, which was stale and completely inedible. The service was also bad. My girlfriend didn't get her food until I was almost finished with my meal. No further questions were asked and she didn't even know the menu. Since the seating is very cramped in a small side street, I would generally recommend looking for somewhere else cozy in Füssen. If you're just looking for a quick bite to eat, you can also eat here. It's a shame, I was hoping for a lot more. And it was simply far too expensive.

Very inconspicuous, located in a small side street. Very nice seating inside and outside. Nice and friendly service. Food, mostly various schnitzels, was super delicious. Served quickly. Various side dishes to choose from. We'll definitely be back. Thank you very much. The price-performance ratio is completely reasonable.

Lots of quantity, it was good 😋

We ordered 4 x 400g ribeye steaks and a chicken schnitzel. Excellent service good beer and great music. Everything turned up really well cooked with good portions. All agreed that this was best steak we'd eaten in a long time. All happy days. Dont know why this place isn't rated higher. Really impressed.

There's no working website!?! There's also no working phone number!?!?! The opening hours are daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM? According to the website, there's no closing day, but today, Wednesday, they're closed. A group of 8 people would have liked something to eat, but the owner has no interest in proper advertising. What a shame! We can't comment on the food for the reasons stated above. Please consider whether this is viable in a tourist-frequented city!!! Sorry, but what a shame!!!

The food is really delicious, the staff is especially friendly, and the wheat beer is delicious. However, they don't tell you in advance that they only accept cash, so please make sure to bring cash.

Tucked away in a side street, you'll find a restaurant specializing in schnitzel. The food tasted good overall, but there were a few things that dampened the overall impression: The dining room smelled quite strongly of deep-fryer grease, and the prices—especially for the schnitzel and the small side salad (see photo)—were on the high side. Unfortunately, our food wasn't served at the same time, which is a shame. Beer is also only available by the bottle, which is a bit disappointing. Overall, the taste was solid, but the price and atmosphere could be improved.

Nicely located in a small alley. there were no more seats inside and decided to stay outside. Weather was ok but a bit cold (May 29th) ... We had to wait 1 hour although the restaurant was not packed. At no time did the waiter ask if we wanted to come inside but arriving customers managed to move inside while others were leaving. It really felt as if the priority order was biased in favor of other customers. waiter was sorry in the end and explained the # of people was the reason, but our order of 2 dishes did not really explain such waiting. We'll never know why ... but waste of time + cold in the end.

Fantastic food worth the cash !

This place is a full-on experience! I had the 600g steak with fries, herb butter, and an amazing pepper sauce — the meat was juicy, perfectly cooked to my liking, and the fries were crispy and golden. The sauce brought everything together like magic, no shortcuts on flavor here. And then… the atmosphere: they were playing The Lord of the Rings soundtracks the whole time, making me feel like I was dining somewhere in Middle-earth, right alongside Aragorn. Special shoutout to our waiter — a super funny 26-year-old guy who made the whole evening even better with his jokes and relaxed vibe. Fast, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. If you ever find yourself in Füssen and want a meal that’s unforgettable for both your taste buds and your soul, SchnitzelHaus is a total must-visit. 10/10 — I’ll definitely be back!

Quite literally the best pork Schnitzel I've eaten, the Potatoe salad was amazing and Paul our waiter was friendly and played great music from the '60s and '70s which made for good atmosphere having lunch with my wife and adult daughter.

It's a small place, but the atmosphere is nice and cozy. You shouldn't expect a star restaurant ambience from a schnitzel house! I think the atmosphere fits very well. The schnitzels were tasty, but not outstanding, as was the spaetzle as a side dish. The portions are big enough, but not too big. Quite expensive in terms of price, but overall worth the money. The staff was nice and friendly and quick to serve. Overall, we liked it and would come back again on another visit to Füssen.

Very good but a little expensive...

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with this restaurant. It looks like a normal snack bar, nothing spectacular. Unfortunately the price performance does not match! The so-called original Wienerschnitzel for €26 is simply a disgrace. The schnitzels come from the freezer, you don't hear any knocking in the kitchen. I don't have high expectations for a place like this, but the prices aren't justified. A big compliment for the service, the boy was always helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I wouldn't come here to eat again. The food is simply of poor quality for the desired prices.

Rooms are not what you would expect from a schnitzel house. Schnitzel good, side dishes okay. First wrong side dish, the spaetzle wasn't even cooked through. Prices too expensive for the ambience, here you only pay for the location. Service was quite okay.

Even one star is too many! The schnitzel (chicken) came raw. Wait another 15 minutes. Plus the whole food was greasy. I understand fried potatoes and schnitzels need fat to prepare, but that was a lake! And lastly, just very overpriced!

Der Service war sehr flott. Eine Reklamation der verwechselten Beilage wurde sofort mit einer freundlichen Entschuldigung behoben. Wir waren zufrieden mit dem Essen.

The schnitzels were really tasty, well seasoned, thin breading and the meat was very tender and served very attractively. The service was first class, from reservations to waitressing. We felt very comfortable and can fully recommend the Schnitzelhaus. Thank you for everything. The sweet potato fries were great.

I got the four cheese schnitzel with spätzle and a weissbier, and my husband had the schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and a dark bier. We both loved our meals—huge portions and super tasty. The lady who served us was really friendly and the place feels like a mom-and-pop restaurant. The decor is pretty cool too—those big wooden tables are covered in postage stamps under the glass. At first, we thought they were just printed, but they're legit and some are even used stamps!

Very mixed feelings... In theory the food was quite tasty, but the way this place looks, i have doubts about its cleanliness and sanitary laws. Especially when you see a pigeon just wandering around inside...

The Cordon Bleu simply tasted like rubber and could have been a €2 schnitzel from a discount store. Prices of usually €20 or more are far too much for that. The ambience isn't great either, except for the nice tables. You are served by unmotivated employees. I expected more from the name “Schnitzelhaus”. We planned to go to a beautiful old Bavarian inn. When we saw this terrible atmosphere we wanted to leave but gave the place another chance. The only thing I can judge well is the Mexican schnitzel. Which is at least partially delicious.

We went to the Schnitzelhaus for lunch today. Friendly service, good selection of food and a nice atmosphere. We had Jägerschnitzel with spaetzle and a schnitzel with meatloaf, fried egg and gratinated with cheese. Plus fries. The portions were sufficient and we enjoyed it very much. We will come again.

Unfortunately, I can't explain where these great reviews come from. We were very disappointed with this meal. The Cordon Bleu tasted like it came from the freezer...all the other dishes weren't much better and at a price that would make your eyes water. I definitely can't recommend this!!! Because we are schnitzel lovers, we visited this restaurant and it was a bit disappointing. We had a wiener schnitzel (veal, that's how it should actually be ;) and a small salad. We found the schnitzels a bit on the small side and quite thin. He was quite nice but for €30 we expected more. On the other hand, the salad was a delight, in fact, this was the best "beilagensalat" of 2 weeks of eating out. Fresh and various things were in it such as lettuce, cabbage, carrot, kartoffelsalat, tasty dressing, etc. The fries were okay but nothing more than that. The service was very nice and attentive.

The Schnitzrl are convenience goods, thin, more breading than meat, the fries are soft and full of fat. I expect a different quality from a schnitzel restaurant. The ambience is very very simple and actually expresses the quality of the food.

Ordered here because of the good reviews. Complete failure. Veal schnitzel for €27 is priced at a star level and tastes like frozen food. Breading not fluffy, but firm to the meat. Not veal schnitzel, but rather sausage meat in the form of a schnitzel. Extra side salad consists of 50% potato salad, which was included anyway. But it doesn't taste like anything either. Portion size large. If you value quantity over quality and just want to be full, this is the right place for you. Also only cash payment, even though there is a card on the door. When the cash was organized, the schnitzels were of course cold.

Schnitzel was delicious and the service was very nice. We took a seat outside despite the rain because inside there was a strong smell of frying fat. We took one with Kässpätzle and one without. We personally liked the schnitzel with potato salad better, although the cheese spaetzle was excellent

If you want to have a fantastic meal of local cuisine, then this is where you must go. All 4 of our meals were absolutely delicious, enormous portions, and one of the most delicious dinners that we had on our whole 3 week Vacation in Europe!!!

We tried Schnitzelhaus after seeing good reviews here and we were not disappointed. Upon entry, we were a little worried in the appearance -- sort of touristy and fast-foodish. The menu contained numerous interesting versions of scnitzel. Both that we tried were delicious with nice sized portions. The side with potatoes, bacon and onions was especially tasty. Service was prompt and accommodating.

For quick hunger! Unfortunately it doesn't taste particularly good and it's way too expensive. The quality of the meat (pork) in particular leaves something to be desired. The drinks weren't very tasty either. The tastiest thing was the small mini salad on the plate. The service was very friendly!

good food but waiting time took 40 mins

We spontaneously wanted to eat here today. You could see from afar that the restaurant was busy. We stood at the door and waited for the waitress to politely ask if there was a table available. It would be absolutely no problem for us if it wasn't like that because we didn't have a reservation. But when we asked, the waitress brushed us off with something like “Not in the near future” so that we don’t want to set foot in the shop in the future. Unfortunately we couldn't judge the food, but the service was absolutely unfriendly and uninviting.

They have an interesting fusion food for Schnitzel. I tried Mexican schnitzel. To compensate to the spicy jalapenos they added sweet potato fries as base. This dish is very delicious. The prices are on a bit of higher side but the staff were nice and for the food it is worth it. It is located in the heart of Füssen a good place to cool down after a day long hike to Neuschwanstein

I ordered the pork schnitzel with creamy mushroom sauce and potatoes with onion and bacon. The sauce and the potatoes were incredibly salty. There is something wrong with dropping too much salt in the food. disappointed as the schnitzel was good. The lady serving was very nice. Shame about too much salt. Maybe I was unlucky because other people food was not overly salty…
