Today we celebrated our grandson's first day of school with a meal. All 8 people enjoyed the food really well. Food was freshly prepared, the side vegetables were crunchy, in contrast to other restaurants where they are often overcooked. Service very friendly and accommodating. Casual atmosphere, but not intrusive. The occasion of our visit was also honored with a very personal card (and gift) to our grandson. Thank you again for the great experience.

This is one of our excursion destinations by bike when we are in the Allgäu. You can eat well and stay there in peace for hours.

Beautiful place to stay for a night. Delicious food, dinner and breakfast. You can even make your own waffles for breakfast! Rooms are old, but okay for 1 night. 2 bathrooms with double showers and toilet and a number of separate toilets.

I can only recommend the restaurant! I had lunch there today (salad with chanterelles). The food was very tasty and fresh. The service was also very friendly, in a good mood and service-oriented. She was also extremely dog ​​friendly. Even though I have a very large dog, this wasn't a problem at all! :) A bowl of water was brought to him straight away. It's also in a really nice location right on Lake Alatsee. All in all, really recommended, even for dog owners.

Prices are too expensive €5 for a small to normal piece of kitchen is just too much. All cakes were priced at €4. But we then paid €4.9 for a cake.

A special hotel/restaurant in an incredibly beautiful location! Fantastic! A small lake between the mountains. We arrived at the restaurant on our bikes at 12:30, the best summer day, busy. After a few minutes of waiting we got a seat. The view is really fantastic. Service very friendly and competent. The food was brought quickly and was super tasty. Bread basket with the salad was included. Plenty of dessert and ice cream on offer. I decided on a homemade apricot crumble cake. Getting there: Ideally by e-bike, from Füssen on a beautiful, slowly rising forest path or up from Weißensee. This means no parking problem. Walking up from Weißensee, for example, takes approximately 45-60 minutes. By car, you should arrive early, as the parking spaces at the top are limited and the parking lot down at Weißensee also fills up quickly during the holidays when the weather is good.

Very nicely located. We can't say anything about the rooms as we only stayed in the inn. The food was very good. You sit in a nice atmosphere (terrace) and have a great view of the lake. The service was very attentive but not intrusive. We can highly recommend the hotel restaurant.

We spontaneously wanted to go out for dinner on a Sunday evening at 5:15 p.m. First we were asked if we had reserved, which is common practice these days. We didn't make a reservation because it was raining all day and it was likely that there would be few guests. After asking about the reservation, we were told that there would only be cake and that the kitchen was on break. When we said we would like dinner the kitchen then cleaned the ventilation. Instead of saying that there is no hot food today because of the weather, it became more and more contradictory. Unfortunately only 1 point.

I only ate here, so can't say anything about the hotel. It's right on the lake, so you have a nice view, but you'd better reserve a table if you want to eat here, as it gets busy here during the holiday season. To eat: I chose the smoked and grilled duck breast. This was also one of the cheaper meals at €17. The food came quite quickly, the duck breast was very tender and tasted very good. The salad and sauce rounded the whole thing off nicely. Drinks: I just ordered water, 0.75l for €6.40. There are two types of water, Allgäuer with and without carbonation and Grander water with and without carbonation. Grander will probably not mean anything to most people, Grander not only sells water but also “water revitalization devices”, these are not water bubblers but supposed positive “energies” with which the water is “revived”. One more reason to choose the Allgäu region. In summary: You can eat well here with a beautiful view, but you should reserve a table in advance. The price here is around €25-30 per person.

There are staff “working” there who were certainly able to let off steam during Corona times. Anyone who ignores/does not comply with the parking rules here will be immediately expelled from the terrace and insulted. There are already a few similar negative reviews. The sound makes the music, and with an appropriate and nice note to us regarding, among other things, the park rules, we would definitely have come to an agreement.

We were just in the beer garden and had something to drink and really enjoyed the view over Lake Alatsee. The staff was very friendly and quick. I can really only recommend the beer garden by the lake.

We stopped there on March 26th, 2024 after a tour of the lake. Very nicely located. The hotel beer garden was well filled. The staff was very friendly and also very funny. We personally really liked it. The food was of a high standard, the portions were sufficient and the prices were reasonable. We then made reservations for Saturday. Great view of the lake and also of the mountains. We would definitely recommend it.

In the middle of nature, quiet location, waking up with a view of the lake. The food was fantastic! Delicious duck breast with pumpkin strips and a generous breakfast buffet with cinnamon waffles as a surprise. Very friendly staff - highly recommended for nature refueling and feasting :)

We took a hike to Lake Alat and happened to end up in the restaurant. It was wonderful weather, I would have liked to sit outside, only all the tables were reserved and when we left, these tables were still free. I have no idea what kind of system the tables are allocated there. Still had a lovely meal...

We had booked a 3-day stay in the hotel at the beginning of the year. Unfortunately, we became very seriously ill with Corona days before and were unable to arrive - also out of consideration for other hotel guests/employees. The request to cancel the trip free of charge was not responded to. The request to postpone the arrival period by a few days was also not approved. Instead, we should book again. They would have given us a 50% discount as a gesture of goodwill for booking again. We've been booking on Booking.com for years. Up until now we've always had understanding hosts. The fact that you can't turn a blind eye to a child who's lying in bed at 43 degrees is incomprehensible to me. I hope you never end up in that situation a situation and become happy with the money.

Went there on a hike on February 7th, 2024, very nice opportunity to rest, super friendly service. The oven potato is highly recommended, overall a very good price/performance ratio. Always my pleasure!

A wonderful place. Very good food, great view from the terrace. Since I walk along the Alatsee every day and regularly sit on the terrace for a meal or a cafe with my three large 9-year-old dogs, I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. A very dog ​​and child friendly house.

I can't give an opinion about the hotel, it's definitely a good one, but I'm disappointed, had to cancel at short notice due to coronavirus or wanted another date and didn't go to the hotel. Had to pay the full amount. I don't think it's very nice, I know that's the contract.

A beautiful place. A very beautiful lake. Great hikes (20 minutes on foot in Austria). The food is awesome. The hotel with Bavarian flair. The rooms are old but nice. If you love something like that, you've come to the right place. A very good price-performance ratio. The hospitality was mega. We will be back.

Although it is already a bit old, the restaurant exudes the charm of the 70s/80s. It reminds me of my apprenticeship in the catering industry in the mid/late 70s. I like that, but a more modern style would suit the hotel restaurant and excursion destination right on Lake Alatsee. In any case, the kitchen has been a few years ahead. Classic Allgäu dishes with a touch of modern cuisine. The service team is consistently super friendly and quick. The prices are reasonable.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cet hôtel au bord d’un lac magnifique. L’accueil était super et le petit déjeuner excellent. Il manquait juste des toilettes et une douche dans la chambre mais dans l’ensemble je vous recommande grandement cet hôtel.

Mein Sohn, ich und unser Hund haben uns eine kurze Auszeit vom Alltag genommen. Dafür war das Hotel perfekt! Die Lage ist traumhaft. Personal sehr freundlich, das Essen unbeschreiblich lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder- vielen Dank!

Ein wunderbarer Ort um zu genießen und entspannen, die Ruhe hier oben und der See einfach traumhaft. Das Essen ist sehr lecker sowie das überaus freundliche Servicepersonal. Es gibt nichts zu meckern.

Ich war jetzt schon öfters dort mit einer größeren Gruppe nach einer Wanderung. Es waren bisher immer alle sehr zufrieden, die Freundlichkeit, Qualität der Speisen und die Menge - richtig gut. Ich werde dort noch öfters mit Gruppen hingehen.

Wunderschöne Gegend Saubere Zimmer Und tolles essen

Waren während unserem Urlaub hier zweimal essen und beide Male waren klasse. Sehr gutes Essen und eine sehr schöne Kulisse mit Blick auf den See. Leider wurden wir bei unserem ersten Besuch sehr unfreundlich in Empfang genommen mit einem, was wollt ihr hier, ihr wollt doch bestimmt nur schnell was trinken. Abgesehen davon war alles wirklich hervorragend und es ist wirklich einen Besuch wert.

Personal, Essen, Frühstück top. Lage super! Bei den Zimmern ist die Zeit vor Jahren stehen geblieben. Bad und WC auf dem Flur ist längst überholt.

Der Alatsee liegt sehr Idyllisch und ist einen Besuch wert. Das Restaurant direkt am See verfùgt ùber eine hervorragende Küche. Nur zu empfehlen 👍

Für einen Ausflug/Urlaub mit Freunden, mit der Familie oder auch als Paar super geeignet! Das Hotel verfügt zwar nicht über die neuste Ausstattung, die Einrichtung punktet jedoch mit ihrem landhäuslichem Stil - vor allem im Restaurantbereich. Bei der Buchung angegeben ist ein Gemeinschaftsbad, was wir (dank des separaten Waschbeckens im Zimmer) als überhaupt nicht störend wahrgenommen haben. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut, ebenso der Service! Für alle die, die mit Lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten kämpfen: Es wird auf alles eingegangen und ziemlich alles möglich gemacht! Das Hotel liegt am idyllischen Alatsee, der jedes frühe Aufstehen wert macht und einen Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen bietet. Zu Fuß ist man in 1h schnell in Füssen. Immer wieder gern!

Mussten lange warten, bis wir einem Tisch zugeteilt wurden, dann war die Bedienung freundlich und schnell . Essen und Trinken waren gut.

Ein super Ort für eine Wanderpause. Obwohl alle Plätze belegt waren, wurde man schnell und freundlich bedient. Wir mussten warten bis man zum Platz geführt wurden. Leider haben das nicht alle Gäste verstanden. Aber auch hier blieb der Kellner freundlich und hat es erklärt. Die Aussicht über den Alatsee ist wunderschön. Wir haben nur eine Kartoffelsuppe gegessen und die war richtig lecker.

Tolle Lage, dafür kann aber das Restaurant nichts. Der Kuchen schmeckte gut, die Käsespätzle sogar hervorragend und die Bedienung war cool. Folglich hat es uns dort gefallen.

Tutto buonissimo, dagli asparagi con filetto di manzo alla grigliata mista con contorno; con due bicchieri di vino (solita dose 0,2 alla tedesca) abbiamo speso 30€ a testa, non proprio economico ma anche la zona vuole la sua parte...

Leckere Speisen, wir bevorzugten an diesem Tage Kuchen, mindestens fünf frische und hausgemachte Sorten standen zur Auswahl. Das Personal ist - trotz der vielen Kundschaft - immer freundlich, kompetent und aufmerksam. Ein Höhepunkt bei der Wanderung um den Alatsee.

Sehr nettes und herzliches Personal, super Essen/Trinken und das zu einem Preis, den man kaum toppen kann. Wir waren außerordentlich begeistert und sind überrascht, was es auch in unserer Gegend doch für eine gastronomische Perle gibt. Von außen, als auch innen wirkt das Restaurant eher unscheinbar/älter. Davon darf man sich aber nicht abhalten lassen.

Wir haben zum Geburtstag ein 4-Gang-Überraschungsmenü bestellt und können nur sagen, wir waren wirklich überrascht. Es war alles super perfekt zubereitet und auch für das Auge ein Gaumenschmaus. Ingesamt waren wir in diesem Urlaub (1 Woche) dreimal dort essen und jedes Mal war es hervorragend. Macht weiter so. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Posto da dimenticare. Affollato all inverosimile, confusione assurda, servizio carente, personale indisponibile ma soprattutto......cibo pessimo, immangiabile. Sembra di mangiare cartone, nemmeno lo strudel si salva. I piatti non hanno alcun sapore. E i prezzi sono folli anche per un locale in questa location da sogno.Inoltre, si mangia praticamente in un nido di vespe. Da evitare assolutamente. Un incubo.

Gehören mittlerweile zu den Stammgästen des Hauses. Ausgesprochen gute, moderne und kreative Landhausküche, abgerundet durch ein liebenswertes und sehr freundliches Personal. Freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

In Alleinlage am romantischen Alatsee gelegen - anspruchsvolle Küche, auch wenn die Karte recht klein ist. Gut besucht - also besser reservieren.

Eine sehr abwechslungsreiche Karte, mit selbst gebackenem Brot vorweg, welches sehr lecker ist! Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis! Klar Empfehlung!

Wir waren nach der Wanderung Mittags zum Essen und waren sehr zufrieden. Da wir selbst Gastronomen sind kennen wir auch den Ablauf und wissen natürlich auch wie es hinter den Kulissen in einer gutbelaufenden Gastro zugeht. Man muss als Gast natürlich schon ein wenig Geduld mitbringen man hat ja Urlaub.
