Went there on our first day of vacation. Super friendly staff, great food. I can't say anything bad about it. The portions and value for money are definitely a great match. We'd be happy to come back if we ever vacation in Füssen again 😀.

We arrived at the restaurant right on time for its opening. Since we require gluten-free food due to celiac disease, we asked the waiter if it was possible to get it—as the menu indicated. The chef listened to this conversation and, surprisingly, reacted in an incredibly rude manner! He suddenly became loud and insulting. He also hurled insults at us, such as saying that all people with celiac disease are idiots and that he doesn't cook anything for us. We left the restaurant speechless, apologizing for the conditions, and will never return.

Waited 20 minutes for just a soft drink. Waited 30 minutes for just a plate of sausages. Only around 4 tables of customers were dining.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Having to provide a medical excuse in advance to order gluten-free food is the worst. After we left without sitting down, someone shouted after us: "Go ahead and give it a bad review, maybe then fewer of you idiots will come!" And so it goes.

The food was absolutely delicious! We had a variety of dishes, and everyone enjoyed it. I had the Tyrolean schnitzel, with fries instead of fried potatoes. The schnitzel with bacon and cheese was absolutely delicious, and I've never had such delicious fries.

Amazing meal tonight. I had the pork tenderloin with cheese pasta. This was literally 3 pan seared pork tenderloin medallions with caramelized onions and gravy over a bed of amazing Mac and cheese. So much flavor. Large portion and very fair price. I would definitely eat here again.

There were six of us dining here, and we were able to accommodate many special requests. Unfortunately, the portions were very small and not lovingly presented.

This is our second year eating here on vacation. It's delicious and the prices are reasonable. There's a larger menu with gluten-free dishes, which we think is great. The location in the old town is fantastic. You sit in the back courtyard while you eat. It's nice and quiet there, so you can have a good conversation.

The food and drink here were very good. And much cheaper than was the same sort of fare in Munich. We had dinner on an early August evening when many, many tourists were in town. The restaurant was not at all overcrowded. We appreciated the variety on the menu and the excellent preparation of our meal and drinks.

A very pleasant surprise in Füssen! Generous local cuisine, authentic atmosphere, and above all: no tourists in sight (except for us 😁) Good value for money, delicious dishes, and apple fritters to die for. A true local favorite to treasure.

Yes, incredibly good food! My roast pork was really tender, and the cheese spaetzle with the sauce was also delicious! The special menu with gluten-free dishes is particularly worth mentioning!

We were thrilled with our visit! Since our little one has celiac disease, we rely on gluten-free food, and this was exactly what they did here. Such a lovely restaurant! We stumbled across this place in the adorable town of Füssen and were warmly welcomed by our waitress and the atmosphere. Sitting in the garden area was very pretty as well. We enjoyed some turkey, spätzle, leberkäse, and much more. The Radler drink was also super refreshing. If you’re staying in Füssen, I promise you’ll enjoy this restaurant!

Food was fast. Food was good. Good prices.

Unfortunately, they were completely inflexible when it came to special requests. The turkey schnitzel could only be ordered with fries and not with salad, although I would have accepted a surcharge if that could have been swapped. So the fries stayed on the plate and had to be thrown away. My husband's water glass was completely dirty, making the drink in it undrinkable. When we pointed this out to the server, all we got was an "Aha!" glass, leave the glass. The bill was charged in full for all items. When we asked if there would be any further action regarding the dirty glass, we received an unfriendly "Nope." We paid in full and were left speechless at our table. After a few minutes, the server came and gave us cash for the water. That's what the manager would have said. Unfortunately, gluten-free in this restaurant just means that everything is served plain. Oh well, at least they offered it... Conclusion: we won't be back.

The waiters were very nice, courteous, and friendly. It was also barrier-free and accessible for people with disabilities.

Small place with a typical Bavarian atmosphere, with an outdoor garden. Possibility of choosing gluten-free dishes. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed everything from the main courses to the desserts. Optimal. Moderate prices. Highly recommended.

Canteen level at restaurant prices. Simple dishes, carelessly prepared, taste ok like in a canteen.

We ordered a soup and a salad and the baked natural schnitzel with fried potatoes. The prices were okay for Füssen. The salad was really tasty. The soup ok. But we first had to get cutlery because the waitress - who was actually very nice - prepared the food and left... without noticing that we didn't have any at the table. The meat was very good, the fried potatoes were a bit bland... The bill wasn't right either - but in our favor 🤷‍♀️ So overall the economy is fine.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. I was looking for a place that served gluten free items after 8pm. This restaurant has a separate GF menu which makes it much easier to select your items. I had the turkey schnitzel (without cream sauce) and subbed the sparezel (a Bavarian pasta) for fries. My husband had the Tirolerschnitzel which he said was very good - it looked delicious! We also had a side salad and the Kaiserschmarren, a GF pancake with applesauce. Excellent dinner. Server was very efficient. WCs are clean. I do recommend!

Even when it's full, everyone is friendly, the food is served quickly and always tastes great.

Food was very disappointing, Spätzle were hard on the bottom from being heated up badly. Side salad was tiny. Service was slow. Tried to give us a wrong bill with twice what we should have paid and it took some convincing that it was not our bill. A typical touristy mediocre restaurant.

A real pleasure for the taste buds! The dishes are prepared with love and you can feel it in every bite. Special mention for the sauces, of exceptional quality, which enhance each dish. And what about desserts? Simply delicious! A beautiful address not to be missed.

21-08-2024 **** Coming from the Romantic Road we were spoiled for choice. Food fine, seats not comfortable, service cursory and impersonal in the city. Not expensive. Parking in Füssen is very difficult, but we were in a luxury hotel with a parking garage (Hotel Sonne, highly recommended). The city center is very difficult by car! It was the only restaurant we could find online where you can eat locally. The rest is quite 'trendy', pasta/pizza/Asian, etc. Recommended if you want to eat local (classic German): drive 30 km north on the B17 towards Peiting: there is Gasthof Lamprecht with great local food! And fantastic service.

Really very tasty food. I can only recommend it to anyone who comes to Füssen. Service top food top.

GLUTEN-FREE ENJOYMENT We had a great time sitting here together and enjoying the ambience and, above all, the food. We had our dog with us, which wasn't a problem at all. My husband had specifically picked out the restaurant in advance. It was very tasty. The service was great. Thank you for a piece of almost forgotten normality.

You can eat gluten-free very well here. Went there 3-4 times on vacation and everything went great. Delicious gluten-free food and friendly and good staff. I can really only recommend it. Many thanks to all employees.

The selection of gluten-free dishes is decent and also delicious. My dish and that of my wife were also very tasty. The waitresses were very friendly. We were definitely not there for the last time.

Very nice restaurant, which offers the special feature of allowing people with severe gluten allergies to have a relaxed visit to the restaurant. It was one of the highlights of a visit from a friend of mine who has celiac disease. Even a gluten-free beer is offered. And everything tastes really good too! Top!

I was pleasantly surprised when my choice to try a unique local dish resulted in such savory flavor. I throughly enjoyed every bite. The waitress was attentive and kind. I really felt relaxed and able to take a much needed break there after my hike. It wasn't too crowded though I was confused about the long hallway entrance and the layout. Has the same unassuming attention to quality of a small family owned buissness.

Since our son has celiac disease, we were looking for a restaurant where he could eat something, and we found it at Ritterstuben. And it was great, almost the entire menu is also available as a gluten-free version. We were thrilled, the food was great. My son had schnitzel with fries and I had Tyrolean schnitzel, also gluten-free. And for dessert, vanilla ice cream with red jelly. Service and hospitality were also top. Always my pleasure.

There were four of us there, all dissatisfied. Ate different dishes. The food, well, average at best. I'm used to better things at such prices. Service was forced to the maximum and seemed very undesirable to us.

Great restaurant. Nice service that remains friendly even when the store is full. The cheese spaetzle is great, as is the changing daily menu. If we are in Füssen again, we would like to come back.

Top service! The boss and the waitress ran the shop together and we never had the feeling of not being seen. Very, very tasty food. One or two euros more could have been charged for this. After three other restaurants in Füssen, this was by far the best. Judging by the name, the restaurant could have used just a bit more “quaintness”. But that's complaining at a high level. I loved this restaurant during my visit to the area. The food is very good, and the staff were all super friendly. I have celiac disease and the restaurant had many safe options for me. They have a separate gluten free menu, and gluten free food comes out on different coloured plates than gluten-containing food, so it doesn't get mixed up. Their outdoor patio is quite and peaceful.

Delicious, cozy and welcoming place, tomato soup and sausages are wonderful. The beer is top notch.

Unfortunately, the service was only forced to be friendly, the food was only average and a very small portion, the atmosphere was unfortunately not inviting - the “beer garden” is also just an inner courtyard with old tables and chairs, which unfortunately do not invite you to a nice evening. Conclusion: in short, something normal to eat is ok, nice food would be better somewhere else

Somehow I can't really agree with anyone here. Service, probably the boss, was just forced to be friendly from the start. When I asked about changing the side dish selection, I was simply told succinctly that it costs 2 euros more, even though a comparable dish cost the same. The portion size was okay, but the fried potatoes were more like those from a commercial kitchen, and unfortunately the food was just average. Maybe we just had a bad day

Man sitzt hier gemütlich und die Bedienung war sehr nett. Preise sind voll ok. Die Käsespätzle waren gut, auch wenn wir sicher schon deutlich bessere hatten. Vielleicht ist es auch Geschmacksache, aber sie waren anders als erwarten, z.B. hatten die Zwiebeln irgendwie etwas nach Sauerkraut oder so geschmeckt. Das Schnitzel war wohl sehr gut. Update: leider muss ich die Rezension korrigieren, scheinbar waren die Zwiebeln bei den Käsespätzle einfach nicht mehr gut, da ich am Tag später ziemlich Magenverstimmungen hatte. Meine Freundin hat den Tag über das gleiche gegessen und auch die Käsespätzle, aber die Zwiebeln nicht gegessen und sie hat heute nichts.. 🫤

Daughter has celiac and we needed something tasty after the castles. This was AMAZING. Still one of our favorite meals over a week of travel. You wouldn’t find this just walking down the road, it’s hidden back in a small garden. It was full of locals (tells you something) on a great setting. Staff was amazing. They were so friendly and understanding of Gluten Free. Daughter loved her lunch. Everything was amazing. Can’t suggest this enough if you have Celiac or other gluten challenges. Dedicated GF fryers too!!

Essen war gut bürgerlich und das was wir erwartet hatten. Geschmeckt hat es und das war die Hauptsache.

Das Essen und das Bier sowie der Wein waren sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder

So many gluten-free options! I ordered a gluten-free Tiroler Schnitzel, and it was delicious. The waiter was also incredibly friendly and nice! Unfortunately, we arrived quite late, so we had to take our gluten-free Kaiserschmarrn (a typical apple pancake) as takeout. I strongly recommend this place, and I felt completely safe – no cross-contaminations.

Super Restaurant mit vielen glutenfreien Gerichten - es gibt sogar eine separate glutenfreie Speisekarte und glutenfreies Bier! Wirklich super lecker und preislich angemessen. Die glutenfreien Spätzle wirkten auch selbstgemacht. Absolute Empfehlung!

Die Bedienung war freundlich, der Kaiserschmarrn war nicht so gut, wohne im Allgäu und im Vergleich leider echt nicht gut. Man läuft durch einen dunklen ungemütlichen Gang zum Innenhof, der ganz nett ist, aber atmosphärisch auch nicht so überzeugend.

Waren hier zum Mittagessen. Im Innenhof kann man auch hier schön Speisen. Gut bürgerliche Küche.
