Top restaurant. Great food. Card with diversity, love and details.

We were just there for dinner. Great service, friendly and attentive. The food was rich and very tasty. A menu that offers something for everyone.

Unfortunately we had very bad experiences. Very unfriendly on the phone. Then incorrect information about the times when you can have food to take away. Personally, we as customers were also spoken to without respect and not objectively. Even though we are at Hopfensee every year, this restaurant will definitely no longer be a part of it. A pity.

First of all, my wife, who had eaten the same thing as me, was missing two ingredients and then the waiter was very unfriendly. We also expected more from the food. The facility is very old. We definitely won't go there again.

Unfriendly staff... always stopped here over the last few years. Was always good. But today you weren't even allowed to sit on the terrace. With the nice weather. But good. They don't make any money from me anymore.

Rarely experienced such bad service! Not recommended, especially with children.

Bad service, the basement tells you straight away that you are not wanted here. Card payments are not allowed and this is communicated directly to you. The food is okay but not recommended with this service.

Condescending! After I expressed my wish to take the rest of the “premium fjord salmon” home with me, a cardboard box was “thrown” on the table. Apparently we should decant the food ourselves?! Due to the lack of a spoon, the food slipped between my fork and knife so much that everything fell onto the table. When we received the bill, I asked the service employee about it. He shrugged and referred to the menu and the boss was not in the house. The menu says: "We would be happy to pack your leftovers in sustainable packaging for a cost price of €0.50." This restaurant has thus distinguished itself with a unique selling point on our Allgäu holiday this year. The food: My “premium fjord salmon” was delicious and no complaints. The “Allgäuer Kässpatzen” were mediocre. The ambience: Only the makeshift table, which was squeezed in at the end of the hallway, was left to us that evening. Even though the other half of the restaurant was empty! The Mediterranean feel of the “olive farmer” is pleasing. The service: Condescending and disinterested. We have known the employees there for over 15 years, but such an inattentive & condescending manner from 2 employees like that evening (04/26/24 6:00 p.m. - 7:40 p.m.) was unique. The prices: Have risen well and take some getting used to. Our conclusion: We no longer need to bother with the olive farmer. There are still very friendly and high-quality alternatives on Uferstrasse.

Beautifully located on Lake Hopfensee with a great view of the lake We ate pizza because my sister loved it there a few years ago. Pizza is always a matter of taste. Good salt and pepper are ready for seasoning. Personally, the dough was too dry for me, almost crumbly, and the topping was good. Great pizza that a normal eater can't manage alone.

Went there for indoor dinner. The room is very bright and decorated in detail. The service is friendly and quick. The food was fresh and nice and warm. Had two onion roasts. The portions were very good and fair for the price. The steak we ordered was medium, but still tasty. Served with cheese spaetzle and gravy. They also offer their own brewed beer, which of course we wanted to try. Unfortunately it wasn't very tasty in terms of taste. There was a lack of fine spice and taste. Here, it's better to grab a beer that you know. Nevertheless, I can recommend the restaurant and would come again.

Fast service, prices and food OK!

We enjoyed our food, but the vegetables were a bit bland. Portion but sufficient. We would come again.

Ordering beer was outside peak time: it took more than 10 minutes. When I asked to pay straight away, it took an additional 10 minutes. Please bring time and patience.

Terrible service.😡 On the recommendation of friends that the food here is delicious, my husband and I came from Munich in the evening to celebrate my birthday. We ordered and while waiting for our food we asked to sit on the terrace and enjoy the sunset. But the waiter was rude and said that under no circumstances are we allowed to go out to the terrace with wine or food. Thanks for spoiling the mood on my birthday. If you had a hard day, don't spoil the guests' mood🤬🫣

Best bruschetta I've ever eaten

We came here quite spontaneously for dinner and, even though it was busy, we managed to get a seat after a short wait. What really stands out positively is the large and great selection of vegetarian and vegan (!) dishes and the clear labeling on the menu! Thumbs up for it - it was also delicious :) also: a small selection of hygiene products for emergencies in the toilets. It's the little things - people just think about things here... Service was also very friendly and quick. The restaurant is really highly recommended!

The onion roast was very tasty. The beer also tasted very good. The service was also better compared to the last visit two years ago. We were satisfied and will plan another visit on our departure day

I had an Allgäu burger but unfortunately didn't find it tasty. If the demands of the menu also corresponded to the taste, it would be a great shop.

We were at the Olivenbauer for lunch on Sunday, and when I walked into the restaurant I was neither greeted nor noticed. I walked past a waiter and said hello, and even then there was no response. This is what the service manager did throughout the entire stay. The food was okay, the pizza was very tasty, but the service and the waiters were terrible...

The food was good. Cordon Bleu a bit small but good. Fries are very good and salad is great too. Burger was big and good. Service friendly. Very nice view with a view of Hopfensee. Come again :)

South Tyrolean pasta dish was 100% maggi sauce, "marktgemüse" frozen vegetable mix still partly hard, dark "beer sauce" also very finished sauce taste and consistency, roast pork very tough and mixed, roast beef was ok red cabbage looked stale and was anything but fresh and homemade. ... service staff rather cold and not friendly, it was cleared away after 30 minutes.

Nice restaurant on the waterfront in Hopfen a. Lake. Spacious, it's easy to get a table even at peak times. Also possible outdoors. Large portions, tasty and extensive selection. House beers recommended. Service is always busy.

The view is very nice of the lake. Unfortunately we weren't that impressed with the food. Both had a German dish. We are used to better things from the Allgäu :) Not really outstanding in terms of taste. But the service is very nice!

Food was perfect, curry sausage with the best spicy sauce ever enjoyed. The service lacked friendliness.

We used to enjoy coming here (living locally), but the restaurant has now become purely a tourist spot. The toppings on the pizzas have been skimped on and the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. A few weeks ago I had to return my pasta because the vegetables weren't cooked yet. Today my pizza wasn't cooked either and had to be complained about. Never again.

Local with its own character, we liked it. The food and service were good, there was nothing to complain about. I'm not a big fan of a mixed menu (Bavarian and Italian) but that's a personal opinion and has an influence on the points awarded.

We ate here three times during our vacation and were never disappointed. The food is really delicious and the portions are very generous. The service is very attentive, quick and super nice. The food comes quickly too. The price is a bit high, but it's worth every cent :-)

You will be served very quickly. The food comes to the table about 15 minutes after you order. The atmosphere is cozy, unfortunately there are no tablecloths on the tables.

Schöne Aussicht! Essen war gut soweit! Pommes extrem gut! Leider Kann man Rumpsteak nicht empfehlen! 1. Reklamiert da nicht medium und sehr sehnig! Wurde ein Neues gebracht, leider war des Fleisch trotzdem sehnig! Sonst grosse Karte mit viel Auswahl!

Service sehr freundlich und flink, Essen wirklich gut und preislich ok. Die Flädlesuppe war ausgezeichnet und der Nachtisch (Tartufo) erst! Man sitzt auch sehr schön mit Blick auf den See. War wirklich top.

Nothing special Pre-made burger patty

Sehr nettes Personal, schnelle Bedienung und sehr leckeres Essen

Fünf Gerichte bestellt. Mindestens drei waren convinient, also aufgekochte (TK-) Ware. Frisch im handwerklichen Sinne, wie auf der Karte vollmundig versprochen, war da kaum was. Immerhin verspricht die Karte nichts in der Mikrowelle aufzuwärmen. Der "gegrillte Lachs" war nur gedünstet, geschmacklich OK. Die Gemüsebeilage war zum Teil kalt und kam unserer Meinung zuvor fertig geschnitten aus der Kühltruhe. Für knapp 21€ deutlich zu teuer fürs Gebotene. Die Kinder waren mit ihren Schnitzeln zwar zufrieden, aber auch die Schnitzel machten nicht den Eindruck von hausgemacht, sondern von frittierter TK Ware. Meine Rinderkraftbrühe war geschmacklich OK, aber mangels reichlich Rindfleisch auf der Karte und den Erfahrungen mit den übrigen Gerichten, frage ich mich, auf welcher Basis die die Brühe selbst gekocht haben wollen. Krönung der Unverschämtheit war die Pasta Panna. Von Sahne aber keine Spur, die bräunliche Soße glich eher einer Pulversoße, Typ Pilzsoße. Meine Reklamation wurde professionell behandelt, aber eine Sahnesoße, wie auf der Karte versprochen, konnte die Küche nicht liefern. Die Pizza im Austausch war dann ganz gut, dafür könnte man den Laden empfehlen. Ich wünsche mir, dass der Gastronom statt sein Leitungswasser zu "aktivieren" [Voodoo!] seine Küche und seine Ehrlichkeit ("hausgemacht") aktiviert.

Wir hatten die vegane Currywurst und das vegane Pilzragout. Beide Portionen waren sehr üppig und äußerst lecker! Definitiv empfehlenswert, wenn man in der Nähe ist.

Wir haben drei leckere Süssspeisen im Restaurant gegessen. Apfelstrudel, Kaiserschmarn und die apfelkuchen wurden frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Lage des Restaurants ist super mit Blick auf die Alpen. Klare weiterempfehlung

Nette Lokalität. Sehr netter Service. Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Das lokalgebraute Bier war sehr gut. Die Speisen, besonders die Pizzen sind richtig gut und sehr lecker. Das Preisleistungsverhältniss passt wirklich! Leider war ich vom angeblichen Edelrehragout enttäuscht. Das Essen wurde einfach nur warm gemacht und unter eine Wärmelampe gestellt bis es an den Tisch gekommen ist. Dementsprechend hat es auch geschmeckt! Schade um das arme Wild. Das Essen war definitiv nicht frisch gekocht und durch das Erwärmen verkocht. Echt schade!! Ich komme gerne wieder. Aber dann werde ich fragen was frisch zubereitet ist.

Schönen Blick aus dem Restaurant auf den See, sehr gutes Essen, Speisekarte mit viel Auswahl und freundlichem Personal.

Die Erfahrung auf dem Olivenbauernhof war äußerst angenehm. Die selbstgemachten Pommes waren köstlich und spiegelten die hervorragende Qualität der verwendeten Olivenölprodukte wider. Die Atmosphäre auf dem Bauernhof war entspannt und einladend. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Adresse für alle, die die Verbindung von Landwirtschaft und kulinarischem Genuss schätzen.

Super Ambiente und Lage und die Karte möchte man am liebsten einmal hoch und runter essen.... Soooo lecker

Unbedingt Pizza essen, die sind mega gut!

Als wir reinkahem fühlten wir als Familie gleich: Hier sind wir willkommen! Freundlich, schnell, Kinderlieb und sehr aufmerksam wenn man für die Kleinen was braucht, Preiswert, und sehr sehr Lecker!!!, kein Mikrowellen aufgewärmtes essen. - Und Sonntags nicht vergessen den Parkschein zu lösen, Parken gegenüber an der Straße, hier wird von der Stadt kontrolliert!

Sehr leckere Pizza. Schweinebraten war ok.

Hatte einen Bürger Classic mit Pommes. Danach- Bauchschmerzen und Durchfall. Begleitung hatte Schweinebraten mit Klöße und "offenfrischen Fladen mit Oregano und Büffel Mozzarella " War alles nichts.... So ein Gefühl,als ob man fertige Gerichte aufgetaut hat und erwärmt. Pommes waren in Ordnung... Freundliche Bedienung,glaube es sind die Besitzer,wahrscheinlich,Vater und Sohn,die auch "gekocht "haben.

Das Essen war lecker. Die Pizza, v.a. die Kinderpizza, ist groß. Die Preise für Getränke sind angemessen, die Rouladen sind für den Preis (fast 20 Euro) sehr klein.

War am 29.10.23 mit meiner Mutter nach einem herrlichen Rundweg um den Hopfensee dort zur Einkehr. Es war so herrlich draußen zu sitzen und die Sonne und Wärme zu genießen. Die Menükarte ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet mit tollen Hintergrundinformationen zur Gaststätte. Wir aßen 2 Pizzas (alle mit Dinkelmehl und frischen Zutaten im Steinofen) und 1 Weizen, 1/4 BIO-Wein, ne Apfelschorle und 1 Espresso für einen super Preis und tollem Ausblick. Die Pizzas, sehr groß für meine Mutter nicht zu schaffen, habe nachgeholfen!!! Jederzeit wieder für einen perfekten Tag. Danke

Grundsätzlich ist das Essen in Ordnung, bei unserer Bestellung waren die Pommes nur noch lauwarm und beim Bürgerbrötchen war die Oberhälfte sehr trocken und hart.

Ein Restaurant mit schöner Atmosphäre, in dem man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Es gibt Speisen für jeden Geschmack und Geldbeutel, und natürlich hat man auch einen schönen Ausblick auf den Hopfensee!

Sehr heimeliges Lokal, das Personal versucht alles, Sonderwünsche zu erfüllen und die Pizza ist mega!!! Wir kommen in JEDEM Urlaub rein...

Wir sind spontan an einen Aussentisch gekommen und haben uns nach einem längeren Marsch sehr über eine Erfrischung und etwas zu Esser erfreut. Pizza sehr lecker, Bürger gut , Cordon bleu okay. Es war von allem ausreichend und schmackhaft zubereiten. Getränke(Bier und Apfelschorle ) kann man auch empfehlen. Der Ausblick auf den Hopfensee ist traumhaft!

Прекрасный ресторан с шикарным видом на Альпийское озеро и Альпы. Заказали на троих персон комплекс Гриль из 3 видов мяса, картошкой фри и овощами на гриле, один салат в огромной тарелке, десерт с мороженым, Альпийский травяной чай и ещё 3 пиццы с собой. Всё это нам обошлось до 100€. Цены прекрасные для курортного городка. Виды из ресторана неимоверно потрясающие. Еда очень была вкусная, спасибо шеф-повару, всё было великолепно. Приедем ещё.

Das Lokal an sich ist sehr schön. Unser Kaiserschmarrn war nicht so luftig wie er sein sollte, geschmacklich aber i. O. Bei der Bestellung muss man aufpassen. Wir wollten eigentlich die kleinere Portion, haben dies bei der Bestellung aber nicht explizit gesagt und wurden auch nicht danach gefragt. Als wir das bemängelt haben wurden wir vom Kellner blöd angemacht. Wir werden hier nicht mehr hingehen.
