I was at the Radisson Blu Cologne for a company meeting and was completely satisfied. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the conference area is modern and well-equipped. I particularly liked the varied breakfast buffet - delicious and something for everyone! The staff was super friendly everywhere - whether at the reception, in the conference area or at breakfast. The location is also great: easily accessible by car or train (Cologne-Deutz) and in about 30 minutes you can walk across the Rhine to the cathedral. Clear recommendation – I would love to come back!

Great hotel, but the bar closes at 11 p.m....sad for a hotel of this class! Rooms are a bit run down...especially the bathroom, there is obvious dust everywhere on the black counters!

The room didn’t have a working air conditioner. We left the window open but it was loud all night because of the people waiting for cabs/buses. The breakfast was delicious though. The whole place isn’t horrible but we paid way too much for this place.

Rooms are clean & spacious. However, a shower in the bathtub is no longer appropriate. The breakfast was very diverse and delicious, the selection left nothing to be desired. The reception staff take their time with guests, although this creates long waiting times at peak times. The location at the roundabout and directly on the elevated road is not very attractive, but the route to the Cologne trade fair is extremely short.

The hotel makes a very good impression. The hotel staff was very friendly. The room is clean and large. The furnishings are modern and pleasant. I would stay here again at any time. The breakfast was also extensive. I found it particularly nice that there was the option to take a coffee with you, as ToGo cups were available at the coffee machines. I didn't take advantage of any other offers from the hotel. The location right next to Cologne Messe is also good. As a Radisson Rewards member, you received a room upgrade to the top floor, a welcome gift and a handwritten card from the hotel management. The attentions are very nice. Suite upgrades are probably rarely given. All in all: 5/5 a great hotel, I would come again.

So disapointed... We're a loyal customer since many years, but I would recommand this hotel anymore. First of all there's so support for customers with allergies and because everything is just imported seasoned or marinated there's no option to have a simple, natural dish. So there was no other option then to go out of the hotel to look for a solution. I wouldn't call this 'service' or 'hospitality'. Secondly, there has been charged about €280 to much on our credit card according to the invoice. I mistake can happen, but I'm trying to get in touch with the hotel all week and apparently it's very difficult ... No replies on e-mails and when I call the general number I'm more then 20 minutes on the holding tune, no matter on what time of the day I call... So very disappointed!!

So the room was really fine. The staff very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the sauna is not recommended. Both times the sauna was switched off when we arrived. The second time defies previous requests.

Overall I was happy with my stay at the hotel. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, the food in the restaurant was tasty and varied. I particularly liked the spa and fitness area, which were well maintained and ideal for relaxation and exercise. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed that some rings that I had left in my room were stolen by the cleaner during my stay. Despite reporting this to the hotel management, I did not feel adequately supported. There were no clear steps or an apology that would have conveyed the feeling that the hotel was truly addressing the situation. Overall, a mixed experience: nice amenities, but the inadequate response to the theft marred the positive impression.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel Köln for one night and absolutely loved it! Stylish and modern hotel, spacious and comfortable rooms, comfortable bed and excellent service. The staff is polite and professional, we checked in quickly. Breakfast is excellent - a lot of choice and everything is delicious. The location is convenient, there are stops nearby and you can quickly get to the center. Overall a great place to stay, it's a pity we were only there for one night. Will definitely come back here again!

Top hotel with good connections to the trade fair and the Deutz station. Contract management for major events is outsourced and somewhat complicated.

I was a day guest and didn't book a room. The service was very friendly and good. The location was not very appealing very strong noise pollution and loud. Buffet was appealing.

Love this hotel, stayed here for the second time this weekend. Large quiet room, humongous comfy bed, and fantastic breakfast buffet! Service is good and parking is expensive (€20) but secure. We ate at the Italian place inside with the gorgeous bar and the staff went out of their way to make us happy, the burger was also delicious. The lobby is modern and stunning and even SMELLS good.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location directly opposite the Cologne trade fair. Tram stop in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The Cologne Messe Deutz train station is within easy walking distance.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cologne and was thoroughly disappointed by their refusal to accept cash payments. While some may appreciate a cashless society, I firmly believe that customers should have the freedom to choose how they pay. It was frustrating to discover at check-in that cash was not an option!!! Cash is a universally accepted form of payment, and excluding it feels restrictive and inconsiderate, especially for international travelers or guests who prefer cash for budgeting or privacy reasons. Not everyone wants to rely on cards or mobile payments, and a hotel of this caliber should be more accommodating! This inflexible payment policy left a bad impression and overshadowed the rest of my stay. Until Radisson Blu Cologne starts respecting all payment preferences, I won’t be returning - and I can’t recommend it to others who value the freedom to pay with cash!

The woman at the bar and probably the same person who takes the order for room service on the phone is absolutely rude. I have no problem with the staff speaking English, some employees say from the start that they don't speak German, which is fine with me. It's better to pretend you speak German but don't actually understand a word. The evening before I ordered room service, the woman on the phone didn't understand German very well. She probably didn't understand the room number either. The food was brought to the wrong room, the woman called my room and blamed me for saying the wrong room number and started arguing with me that it was my mistake. Later we ordered coffee at the bar. I asked if I could have a cold coffee with ice cubes. Instead of asking me if I could say the order in English, she walked away and then came back and asked if I had ordered iced tea?

The hotel is great, breakfast was great and the room too and the staff were very friendly. What I can't recommend is parking in the underground car park for €20, especially when there isn't much going on. Several cars were broken into while we were there and unfortunately there are no cameras in the parking garage. Although the nice lady at the reception apologized 100 times, the parking fee paid was not even refunded. Even when the first car owner noticed early in the morning that his window had been smashed, he unfortunately didn't consider checking the garage or having it checked. Perhaps it would be appropriate to install a roller shutter or equip the underground car park with cameras.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Radisson Blu Cologne and am happy to give it 5 stars. The room was very modern, clean and well-equipped, which immediately created a feel-good atmosphere. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly and helpful staff, who always tried to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The service was first class and the breakfast left nothing to be desired - a great selection of fresh, high quality food. The only small point of criticism is the soundproofing of the windows. My room faced the Palatinate Ring and the street noise was clearly audible at night. However, I was able to sleep well with Oropax, so this didn't have much of an impact on my positive overall impression. All in all, a recommendable hotel that I will happily choose again on my next visit to Cologne!

Very nice and modern hotel. Early check-in and upgrade were no problem as a rewards member. The room itself was in very good condition, clean and comfortable. As usual at the Radisson, I slept excellently 😊 Breakfast could be a little more varied, but it's completely fine. The wellness area is modern, clean and very comfortable. The sauna is larger than in many other hotels. Thank you very much, I'll be happy to come back in February!

I was actually thinking of three stars for the location, but then I thought of trade fair visitors, for whom the location is ideal. Was there for the third time now and enjoyed the super friendly service. The rooms are spacious and clean. Nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Gladly again.

After the short visit, I can only recommend it. The standard room offers enough space. And in my opinion, the lobby is much more pleasant compared to the more expensive Donrint.

The room scent used in the house is so high in dosage that it simply smells unpleasant and gave me a headache. With the highest Radisson Rewards status, you will not receive any benefits at check-in apart from free breakfast. Late check out had to be begged and was only approved until 2 p.m. Next time I'm in Cologne I'll book somewhere else.

Given the prices, it's better to stop in the city!

Last year we stayed there for an event so we booked this year again. We were gonna stay there for one night. BUT 10 hours before we leave to go to the hotel they canceled our reservation, because they had no rooms. We did reservation an year prior. They made for us an other reservation at another hotel that an big downgrade, had no parking space and was 3 stars. So we made ourselves an reservation at Hyatt Regency Cologne, such a great hotel with better service and great staff. And across de river you can the cathedral at you room We are never be staying at any radisson Blu because of bad service and no apologies about the inconvenience. Go to hyatt instead.

The Radisson Blu Hotel in Cologne is a really nice hotel with a pleasant atmosphere and well-equipped rooms. Unfortunately, I had several problems with my booking - despite numerous phone calls and emails, I kept getting confirmation of incorrect rooms or prices. Fortunately, Ms. Franziska Meßmer from reception was able to clarify the booking on site and get everything in order. Without her the stay would probably have remained stressful. Otherwise a great hotel, but unfortunately only three stars due to the unprofessional booking experience.

We went to Comedy Night XXL and had an overnight stay. The hotel is modernly furnished. The staff were all helpful and courteous. The service is top. Big praise. The room clean, stylish and large. Really chic and we felt very comfortable. Price/performance also fits. The breakfast buffet is rich, varied and there is a large selection, including drinks. I was shocked at how poorly the check-in went. The staff was unfriendly from the start and it took several attempts before I received a correct bill. When I insisted that the company name be given correctly, I was dismissed as 'fussy' and treated with rude gestures. This feeling of not being welcome marred my entire stay. It's disappointing to be treated so rudely as a guest.

House has its own parking garage & it costs €20 per night. I thought I was in the wrong movie. Rooms are fine, but no one said anything about the parking garage being chargeable. They're crazy about making the parking garage chargeable given the prices. My first and my last time in this juice shop.

Unfortunately there is no balanced offering for vegetarians in the restaurant (only side dishes). In the future, please offer grilled cheese, patties, etc. :)

Very good hotel with nice rooms. Large capacity to accommodate groups. Very quiet and well soundproofed. Very far from the city center so complicated if you want to be close to visit. The breakfast is OK, however the service is not up to par. The tables are not cleared and it is sometimes impossible to find a clean table.

Clean, spacious rooms with large beds make for an enjoyable stay. The check-in/check-out process is seamless, with the option of self-service. The location is ideal for conferences and events at the nearby Arena and Conference Center.

I checked out of the hotel today around 10:20, room 406 was a very nice room. Unfortunately my Gucci sunglasses were left on the table left by the bed. I called around 2 p.m. and a THEO from reception said if what was stated would be in touch. Then I called at 2:40 p.m. and Theo told me that he had asked everywhere, but unfortunately he didn't say anything. Wish you had fun cleaning the sunglasses and I find it really sad

I had the pleasure of staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cologne and I can confidently say that it was a first-class experience! From arrival to departure I was welcomed by an extremely friendly and helpful team who always tried to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are modern and stylishly furnished, with all the amenities you could wish for. The beds are extremely comfortable and guarantee a restful night's sleep. I was particularly impressed by the breathtaking view of the Rhine and the Cologne skyline - a truly picturesque panorama! The breakfast buffet was another highlight. The selection of fresh, local produce was impressive and there was something for every taste. I started the day with a delicious coffee and a variety of treats - simply heavenly! The location of the hotel is also ideal. It is close to the city center and major attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The connection to public transport is also excellent. In summary, I can only warmly recommend the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cologne. It not only offers first-class service and comfort, but also an unbeatable location. I'm already looking forward to my next stay - thank you for the wonderful experience!

We visited from The Netherlands and traveled by car for the first time with our daughter. After staying at different hotels we really had the best experience here at radisson blu. A special thanks to Shokofeh who helps us from the beginning of our stay until we left with everything so gracefully! We received the best service from her and she was so kind to arrange food for our toddler who was tired and hungry from the travels. We also received a great service and help from Morteza. Honestly they made the experience so great for us that we didnt want to leave so soon, so we are already planning our next trip to here again! Thanks so much! Kind regards, Tatli

MORE POINTS: - very nice hotel, elegant and modern; - located at the perfect distance between the motorway and the center of Cologne; - helpful and welcoming staff; - very nice rooms, modern, clean and neat; - excellent breakfast; - private parking at very reasonable prices; - mini-supermarket in the hotel lobby; - sweets and flavored water offered in the lobby POINT FOR IMPROVEMENT: - the room with balcony: it is in fact a shared balcony (and not private as suggested by Booking) with all the other rooms, without separations (and access was closed during our visit)

We were there one night. The rooms are modern and clean. However, we were very disappointed with the so well advertised breakfast for 50€ for 2 people. The rolls were beyond soft and dry. The scrambled eggs were so runny that I was afraid of salmonella, as was the breakfast egg. I almost broke a tooth on the fresh honeydew melon because there was still a solid layer of peel on it. So we travel a lot and have had a much better breakfast for less money.

Excellent experience in this hotel which offers underground parking (around €20/day). The rooms are spacious and modern. The bedding and recliner chair are very comfortable. Small downside about the location: we are far from the center of Cologne.

The only advise I would give is don't walk in and book. They tried to charge me $275 Euros, that's $450 CAD i booked on expedia from the lobby and paid $285 CAD.

Rooms great, location good and the city center is easy to reach on foot across the bridge, breakfast is very varied, staff friendly. Of course, it's not necessarily the cheapest hotel in terms of price, but you get something for it. Not just the rooms, the whole house is really beautiful to look at. The rooms facing the inner courtyard are also very quiet. Recommended for anyone with light sleepers!

The hotel is definitely recommended. Here the guest is welcomed in a very friendly and attentive manner. Like the service at the bar (you can also get a cocktail that isn't on the menu without any problems) or the reception. The breakfast buffet is on the higher side, but the quality is very high. The coffee isn't to everyone's taste, but complaining about it wouldn't be justified. The rooms are very good and modernly furnished. I was able to sleep very well. Modern hotel building with a pleasant atmosphere. Very nice staff at reception and in the service area, bar and dining room. The only drawback is the room service. My room was supposed to be made at 4:30 p.m. even though I was no longer in the hotel at 9:15 a.m. and had a strenuous day at the seminar. So there was enough time in my absence. I skipped room cleaning Room service tried to come into the room several times. Which was very annoying. Unfortunately there is currently a large construction site across the street which can lead to some construction noise between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Otherwise quiet rooms.

Good hotel, with extensive breakfast. It is too far to visit the city on foot. But with a scooter and/or bicycle (which you can find everywhere and rent via an app) you can get there immediately.

Really recommended. - Modern rooms and everything clean. Bathrooms have been renovated, but are not quite as nice as the rooms. (Lots of space, big TV) - Extensive breakfast buffet with good value for money. (Vegetarian/vegan options also available - these could be a bit more) - really extremely friendly and fast service. Definitely the main reason for my good rating. All employees work extremely hard and take care of all matters!

The hotel is generally very good. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast is also almost very good. But only almost because the coffee is really very bad. You can drink it, but in my opinion it needs improvement. In addition, they have a very good light. The beef roulade I ate wasn't actually any! Doesn't suit this good hotel either. Fitness room also very good.

When we ordered breakfast to our room, we were excited for an upscale dining experience. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met, but rather disappointed. The breakfast was put on the table without any care and left a lot to be desired. Even the orange juice seemed to be diluted with water and the coffee was of poor quality. Overall the experience was disappointing and far from what we would have expected from a hotel of this class.

You feel unwound. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise in the courtyard from guests or staff. You couldn't deactivate the air conditioning.

2 stars for a 4 star hotel. Short and concise description for an overview. This is not the classic 4**** star hotel. Please banish this illusion from your mind. The people who frequent there can be seen at the train station at night. On the evening we were guests at the hotel, an Englishman was sitting in the courtyard, watching loud cell phone videos, drunkenly knocking over chairs, disturbing guests and drunkenly talking to them. We then informed the three employees, including those at the bar, that we felt disturbed and that the guest was drunk and rioting in the courtyard where other guests were enjoying their drinks. They did nothing. Quite the opposite. The drunk guest went to the bar, drunk and staggering, and got the next drink. Shameless and greedy for profit. Profit is the key word here. Be careful when ordering gin. We paid 16 euros for two gins (Siegfried Gin), 4cl each. However, it wasn't a gin and tonic. We should have read more carefully. The TonicWater was added, so we paid a total of 47 euros for two GinTonics. Absolute impudence. I don't even pay these prices at the Meerbar in Düsseldorf and I get better quality there. The area where the hotel is located is also unpleasant. Possibly acceptable for transit. It is irrelevant that this hotel is geographically close to the trade fair. This is how the hotel tries to decorate itself and emphasize its attractiveness. Then I would rather choose a motel or a youth hostel. I have the same audience there. The city of Cologne offers numerous options for getting to the trade fair quickly and comfortably (taxi, Uber, bus, train and much more). I don't need this hotel for that. The breakfast is absolute standard. There were heaps of plates on the tables and they were hardly put away Here I would recommend the nearest bakery on the corner. It is not worthy of a classic 4 star hotel. Absolutely not recommended.

Short revision after my last visit. This time everything was great! A quiet room on the 4th floor. What I don't like is the bathtub instead of a shower, and I'm not entirely sure, but I mean a year ago we still had freshly made omelets for breakfast!? We had a junior suite which has a really nice bathroom. Unfortunately the bed was or is a bit too small for two. The proximity to the elevator is also not ideal as you can hear it quite clearly. It sounds like there's bowling going on in the room above you. Furthermore, the ventilation in the bathroom didn't work or it is so quiet that you can't actually hear it. In contrast to the air conditioning, which can of course be regulated. There are plenty of cupboards and storage space. For breakfast: Unfortunately the coffee tastes terrible, not that I don't like coffee from coffee machines, but it tastes equally bad from each of the three machines. Unfortunately, even when asked, there was no filter coffee. There was no fish for breakfast on Sunday, at least from 9 a.m. onwards. Unfortunately, there was another incident while cleaning our suite, which I reported to reception, but it obviously didn't surprise the staff. All in all, we have had better breakfasts and stays in other hotels in this chain. PS: The bar and its staff were okay.

Hotel centrally located at the trade fair. Super attentive service in the conference area. Food and breakfast excellent. I can't rate the room because there was no overnight stay.

The hotel is close to the Lanxess Arena, which was ideal for us. The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately I had forgotten something in our room and didn't find it until I got home. After we called several times, they promised to call back if anything was found. We're still waiting for the call. :( The rooms are a nice size, clean and modernly furnished. However, there was a broken tile in our bathroom and the sink was already a bit worn. I can recommend it for a city trip.

The room was clean and big enough. The bed had a full mattress and comfortable pillows. There was also a bathtub, which we unfortunately couldn't use due to time constraints 🥲 Sauna and sports area are also available and open for a long time. There is a candy bar at reception 😋🍬🍭 Shortly after arriving we were called in the room and asked if everything was okay. We thought that was good and attentive. We didn't try the breakfast. It's supposed to be good, but we found it very expensive.

I would have expected more from the hotel. It's more expensive than MotelOne, for example, but not really better. For example, I was disappointed that the bar closed very early. The hotel is certainly often used by trade fair visitors and visitors to the Kölnarena who want to spend some time together after their events. This is not possible in the hotel.

We were here to spend a weekend in Cologne. The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition center and the Lanxess Arena. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to Cologne Cathedral; there is a stop almost directly in front of the hotel. Parking costs 20 euros per day in the hotel's parking garage. The lobby with bar is very tastefully decorated and the entire staff is very friendly and helpful! Our room was spacious and nothing was missing! There was a coffee machine with pads, tea & cocoa. Plus water in the room every day. The beds were comfortable and our room on the 4th floor was quiet. The breakfast for 19 euros is highly recommended!

Nice hotel but very expensive. Having a drink in the bar is really not fun because it is so expensive. In addition, you should not leave anything in the hotel room. Even if you call them about it immediately after departure, they apparently cannot find it. They said they would call back, but after two days I did so myself. Location is also not very good. There are plenty of other beautiful hotels in Cologne

The top priority is the incredibly friendly & attentive staff in all areas. The room was nicely furnished and clean. Unfortunately, my room faced the busy street, so opening the window at night was impossible and even the closed window allowed traffic noise to penetrate. Unfortunately, 2 points are also deducted for the evening & lunch. The breakfast, on the other hand, was varied and delicious

Excellent hotel with great rooms, breakfast, service and super friendly and helpful staff.

Spacious entrance hall, spacious rooms, everything well maintained and clean. Price/performance is impressive. 👍
