Good hotel in an easily accessible location. Walking distance to Lanxess Arena is 12-15 minutes. Nice rooms and facilities. Nice drinks, dinner was a bit pricey. Extensive breakfast.

Clean, spacious rooms with large beds make for an enjoyable stay. The check-in/check-out process is seamless, with the option of self-service. The location is ideal for conferences and events at the nearby Arena and Conference Center.

I checked out of the hotel today around 10:20, room 406 was a very nice room. Unfortunately my Gucci sunglasses were left on the table left by the bed. I called around 2 p.m. and a THEO from reception said if what was stated would be in touch. Then I called at 2:40 p.m. and Theo told me that he had asked everywhere, but unfortunately he didn't say anything. Wish you had fun cleaning the sunglasses and I find it really sad

I had the pleasure of staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cologne and I can confidently say that it was a first-class experience! From arrival to departure I was welcomed by an extremely friendly and helpful team who always tried to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are modern and stylishly furnished, with all the amenities you could wish for. The beds are extremely comfortable and guarantee a restful night's sleep. I was particularly impressed by the breathtaking view of the Rhine and the Cologne skyline - a truly picturesque panorama! The breakfast buffet was another highlight. The selection of fresh, local produce was impressive and there was something for every taste. I started the day with a delicious coffee and a variety of treats - simply heavenly! The location of the hotel is also ideal. It is close to the city center and major attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The connection to public transport is also excellent. In summary, I can only warmly recommend the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cologne. It not only offers first-class service and comfort, but also an unbeatable location. I'm already looking forward to my next stay - thank you for the wonderful experience!

We visited from The Netherlands and traveled by car for the first time with our daughter. After staying at different hotels we really had the best experience here at radisson blu. A special thanks to Shokofeh who helps us from the beginning of our stay until we left with everything so gracefully! We received the best service from her and she was so kind to arrange food for our toddler who was tired and hungry from the travels. We also received a great service and help from Morteza. Excellent experience in this hotel which offers underground parking (around €20/day). The rooms are spacious and modern. The bedding and recliner chair are very comfortable. Small downside about the location: we are far from the center of Cologne.

We were there one night. The rooms are modern and clean. However, we were very disappointed with the so well advertised breakfast for 50€ for 2 people. The rolls were beyond soft and dry. The scrambled eggs were so runny that I was afraid of salmonella, as was the breakfast egg. I almost broke a tooth on the fresh honeydew melon because there was still a solid layer of peel on it. So we travel a lot and have had a much better breakfast for less money.

MORE POINTS: - very nice hotel, elegant and modern; - located at the perfect distance between the motorway and the center of Cologne; - helpful and welcoming staff; - very nice rooms, modern, clean and neat; - excellent breakfast; - private parking at very reasonable prices; - mini-supermarket in the hotel lobby; - sweets and flavored water offered in the lobby POINT FOR IMPROVEMENT: - the room with balcony: it is in fact a shared balcony (and not private as suggested by Booking) with all the other rooms, without separations (and access was closed during our visit)

The only advise I would give is don't walk in and book. They tried to charge me $275 Euros, that's $450 CAD i booked on expedia from the lobby and paid $285 CAD.

Rooms great, location good and the city center is easy to reach on foot across the bridge, breakfast is very varied, staff friendly. Of course, it's not necessarily the cheapest hotel in terms of price, but you get something for it. Not just the rooms, the whole house is really beautiful to look at. The rooms facing the inner courtyard are also very quiet. Recommended for anyone with light sleepers!

The hotel is definitely recommended. Here the guest is welcomed in a very friendly and attentive manner. Like the service at the bar (you can also get a cocktail that isn't on the menu without any problems) or the reception. The breakfast buffet is on the higher side, but the quality is very high. The coffee isn't to everyone's taste, but complaining about it wouldn't be justified. The rooms are very good and modernly furnished. I was able to sleep very well. Modern hotel building with a pleasant atmosphere. Very nice staff at reception and in the service area, bar and dining room. The only drawback is the room service. My room was supposed to be made at 4:30 p.m. even though I was no longer in the hotel at 9:15 a.m. and had a strenuous day at the seminar. So there was enough time in my absence. I skipped room cleaning Room service tried to come into the room several times. Which was very annoying. Unfortunately there is currently a large construction site across the street which can lead to some construction noise between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Otherwise quiet rooms.

Good hotel, with extensive breakfast. It is too far to visit the city on foot. But with a scooter and/or bicycle (which you can find everywhere and rent via an app) you can get there immediately.

Really recommended. - Modern rooms and everything clean. Bathrooms have been renovated, but are not quite as nice as the rooms. (Lots of space, big TV) - Extensive breakfast buffet with good value for money. (Vegetarian/vegan options also available - these could be a bit more) - really extremely friendly and fast service. Definitely the main reason for my good rating. All employees work extremely hard and take care of all matters!

When we ordered breakfast to our room, we were excited for an upscale dining experience. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met, but rather disappointed. The breakfast was put on the table without any care and left a lot to be desired. Even the orange juice seemed to be diluted with water and the coffee was of poor quality. Overall the experience was disappointing and far from what we would have expected from a hotel of this class.

Very stylish, good location. At the reception, no one was interested in the people waiting. Unfortunately, sending the invoice by email didn't work either. Overall very impersonal and without charm. You feel unwound. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise in the courtyard from guests or staff. You couldn't deactivate the air conditioning.

2 stars for a 4 star hotel. Short and concise description for an overview. This is not the classic 4**** star hotel. Please banish this illusion from your mind. The people who frequent there can be seen at the train station at night. On the evening we were guests at the hotel, an Englishman was sitting in the courtyard, watching loud cell phone videos, drunkenly knocking over chairs, disturbing guests and drunkenly talking to them. We then informed the three employees, including those at the bar, that we felt disturbed and that the guest was drunk and rioting in the courtyard where other guests were enjoying their drinks. They did nothing. Quite the opposite. The drunk guest went to the bar, drunk and staggering, and got the next drink. Shameless and greedy for profit. Profit is the key word here. Be careful when ordering gin. We paid 16 euros for two gins (Siegfried Gin), 4cl each. However, it wasn't a gin and tonic. We should have read more carefully. The TonicWater was added, so we paid a total of 47 euros for two GinTonics. Absolute impudence. I don't even pay these prices at the Meerbar in Düsseldorf and I get better quality there. The area where the hotel is located is also unpleasant. Possibly acceptable for transit. It is irrelevant that this hotel is geographically close to the trade fair. This is how the hotel tries to decorate itself and emphasize its attractiveness. Then I would rather choose a motel or a youth hostel. I have the same audience there. The city of Cologne offers numerous options for getting to the trade fair quickly and comfortably (taxi, Uber, bus, train and much more). I don't need this hotel for that. The breakfast is absolute standard. There were heaps of plates on the tables and they were hardly put away Here I would recommend the nearest bakery on the corner. It is not worthy of a classic 4 star hotel. Absolutely not recommended.

Short revision after my last visit. This time everything was great! A quiet room on the 4th floor. What I don't like is the bathtub instead of a shower, and I'm not entirely sure, but I mean a year ago we still had freshly made omelets for breakfast!? We had a junior suite which has a really nice bathroom. Unfortunately the bed was or is a bit too small for two. The proximity to the elevator is also not ideal as you can hear it quite clearly. It sounds like there's bowling going on in the room above you. Furthermore, the ventilation in the bathroom didn't work or it is so quiet that you can't actually hear it. In contrast to the air conditioning, which can of course be regulated. There are plenty of cupboards and storage space. For breakfast: Unfortunately the coffee tastes terrible, not that I don't like coffee from coffee machines, but it tastes equally bad from each of the three machines. Unfortunately, even when asked, there was no filter coffee. There was no fish for breakfast on Sunday, at least from 9 a.m. onwards. Unfortunately, there was another incident while cleaning our suite, which I reported to reception, but it obviously didn't surprise the staff. All in all, we have had better breakfasts and stays in other hotels in this chain. PS: The bar and its staff were okay.

Hotel centrally located at the trade fair. Super attentive service in the conference area. Food and breakfast excellent. I can't rate the room because there was no overnight stay.

The hotel is close to the Lanxess Arena, which was ideal for us. The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately I had forgotten something in our room and didn't find it until I got home. After we called several times, they promised to call back if anything was found. We're still waiting for the call. :( The rooms are a nice size, clean and modernly furnished. However, there was a broken tile in our bathroom and the sink was already a bit worn. I can recommend it for a city trip.

The room was clean and big enough. The bed had a full mattress and comfortable pillows. There was also a bathtub, which we unfortunately couldn't use due to time constraints 🥲 Sauna and sports area are also available and open for a long time. There is a candy bar at reception 😋🍬🍭 Shortly after arriving we were called in the room and asked if everything was okay. We thought that was good and attentive. We didn't try the breakfast. It's supposed to be good, but we found it very expensive.

I would have expected more from the hotel. It's more expensive than MotelOne, for example, but not really better. For example, I was disappointed that the bar closed very early. The hotel is certainly often used by trade fair visitors and visitors to the Kölnarena who want to spend some time together after their events. This is not possible in the hotel.

Very decent hotel with spacy rooms, excellent service and superb breakfast menu

We were here to spend a weekend in Cologne. The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition center and the Lanxess Arena. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to Cologne Cathedral; there is a stop almost directly in front of the hotel. Parking costs 20 euros per day in the hotel's parking garage. The lobby with bar is very tastefully decorated and the entire staff is very friendly and helpful! Our room was spacious and nothing was missing! There was a coffee machine with pads, tea & cocoa. Plus water in the room every day. The beds were comfortable and our room on the 4th floor was quiet. The breakfast for 19 euros is highly recommended!

Nice hotel but very expensive. Having a drink in the bar is really not fun because it is so expensive. In addition, you should not leave anything in the hotel room. Even if you call them about it immediately after departure, they apparently cannot find it. They said they would call back, but after two days I did so myself. Location is also not very good. There are plenty of other beautiful hotels in Cologne

The top priority is the incredibly friendly & attentive staff in all areas. The room was nicely furnished and clean. Unfortunately, my room faced the busy street, so opening the window at night was impossible and even the closed window allowed traffic noise to penetrate. Unfortunately, 2 points are also deducted for the evening & lunch. The breakfast, on the other hand, was varied and delicious

The stay was good, however when I checked out I left my bag at the reception and I lost my expensive perfume its either in the room or was stolen from my pack-bag when I left it at the reception. And when I called them they said we cant help you we looked but there is no perfume. I’m 100% sure its there but what can you do when they dont care.

Very large and spacious rooms, the shower is amazing, there was real pressure on the water jet and hot water, but the entrance is not for old people.. the breakfast had a lot of choice, even on a normal weekday there was fish and it was always refilled never anything...just the coffee didn't taste good, there was no real coffee, just muckefuck...perhaps you could offer real bean coffee

Superb room. Very friendly welcome. Varied breakfast. The hotel is very pretty. Very good location, 10 minutes from Lanxess Arena.

First the (really few) not so great points: -After booking, several emails came from Radisson every day, some with the same content. This could be minimized... - After paying in the underground car park, after about 1 minute, all the lights went out = you were left in pitch darkness. - A short introduction to modern room technology would be an advantage. - I found breakfast a bit confusing and not as extensive as often described. Now for the positive part: -Generous underground car park, the parking spaces are also suitable for SUVs. Entrance area a bit narrow. €20 for 1.5 days was completely ok for me. - Online check-in worked great. The room/suite was very nice, modern and well equipped. (see photos) And finally softer and not so hard mattresses! -all the employees are very friendly and the general service is as well - As a special you can book 4 Kölsch in the champagne cooler... creative idea and keeps it cool for a very long time. -Restaurant in the foyer area: the food was good and plentiful. Value for money there = hotel restaurant 😉. The cocktail was perfectly mixed. I found the location to be ideal: S-Bahn a few minutes' walk away and you're in the middle of the city in 4 stops! Soundproof windows and a ventilation system ensured a peaceful sleep.

Ideal stay for events in the Lanxess Arena. We were there two nights: once without a concert, once with a concert (Depeche Mode). First night super stress-free, especially regarding breakfast! After the second night, that was the limit for everyone involved. In order to equalize the battle at the buffet, we suggest stocking the standard buffet in the breakfast room in addition to the buffet at the bar.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and can only report positively about it. Rooms were clean, the location is perfect. Of course you can't always please everyone, but we felt very comfortable. Nice hotel near the Lanxess Arena. Rooms are spacious and very clean. You can't hear any street noise when the windows are closed. Parking garage integrated into the hotel (20 euros/night). The only point of criticism is the organization of the rich buffet: the hotel was quite full and when we arrived in the breakfast hall around 9 a.m. we unfortunately found an approximately 15 m long gap at the buffet. The dishes are lined up one behind the other on a long table instead of being spread out across different stations. Therefore, you have to wait in a long queue when there is a lot going on. This should urgently be restructured spatially. Otherwise the hotel is absolutely recommended.

I was very pleased. Nice bathroom with bathtub. Great bar and small self-service shop. Fast elevators and nearby parking garage (accessible in the building). The cathedral is about 30 minutes away on foot, otherwise the train station is about 4 minutes away.

Search words: accessible, wheelchair, handicap, accessible room Radisson Blu Cologne offers four accessible rooms. They are all with big and accessible roll-in showers and double beds. The showers come equipped with a shower chair in the shower and with a lowered toilet. The bed is non adjustable, and cannot be lowered and the headrest/legs cannot be raised. The bed itself is quite tall, but unfortunately does not fit the legs of a normal hoist.

The hotel is perfectly located near the arena and offers large and clean rooms. The price for one night is just acceptable (one night including breakfast €179). The breakfast for €19 is okay, but there is only instant cocoa, for example, instead of cocoa from the fully automatic machine.

We were actually very satisfied except for the service at the bar, it felt like we didn't feel like working, the drinks we ordered weren't available. It's a shame HH is better at it.

The shower is really slippery!! I fell and hit my head while trying to get out, and I had to miss a few days at the show cause of a bruised and swollen forehead 😖 Something needs to be done to make it safer. Almost all of my colleagues complained that they almost slipped as well... however, I must commend staff on checking up on me afterward.

My review only relates to the contact with the hotel. Due to a personal concern, I tried to contact the hotel both directly by email and via the chat for reservations via booking.com. Both requests remained unanswered. For me it has nothing to do with service and I wouldn't book it again. There are much more customer-friendly hotels in the trade fair area.

Me and my mother had a lovely week there and we would definitely go back! We really enjoyed the breakfast, the view from the premium room, the comfortable bed, the fitness, the lobby, the location and the friendly staff! :) We were extra delighted by the person who cleaned up very well our room every single day, we also got fresh towels, water/tea/coffee etc. every day. There are few small negatives that for us weren’t such a big deal - the lightening in the room could be stronger and the prices in the lobby are little bit higher.

The location of the hotel is great if you're going to events in the Lanxess Arena, but we could also get to the city center quickly on foot or by tram. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are well equipped and clean. Price-performance ratio is great :)

Extremely unpleasant! I left an Apple charger plugged into the socket in the room. Notified by email the next morning and called on Monday. Only standard answers “we’ll let you know if we find it”… Need to find a charging cable that is plugged into a socket? Or does it look like garbage? Radisson is not doing itself any favors with this behavior, our last visit and a corresponding “recommendation” to everyone who is considering a visit.

Top Standort, Cocktails nicht so gut, Essen hat geschmeckt

Wir haben eine Schlüsselkarte für ein Zimmer bekommen, in dem schon jemand geschlafen hat. Als wir wieder zurück zur Rezeption kamen und den Vorfall geschildert haben, wurde nur gefragt, wer dort genau im Bett lag. Wir haben natürlich direkt wieder das Zimmer verlassen und keinen Namen erfragt. Es gab weder eine Entschuldigung vom Personal, noch eine Wiedergutmachung. Stattdessen wurde die Situation totgeschwiegen und wir haben ein neues Zimmer zugewiesen bekommen.

Schönes großes und modernes Hotel. Sauber und gepflegt. Nettes Personal. Parkgarage vorhanden. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Rundum zufrieden gewesen

Nicht sauber schade für den preis

Schönes Zimmer generell sehr sauber. Wenn man genau hinsieht jedoch Beschädigungen an Wandleisten, abbröckelnde Farbe an Ecken der Wand und verkalkte Dusche. Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Zimmer war schön, modern und grundsätzlich sauber. Jedoch waren an einigen Stellen die Leisten etwas heruntergekommen oder z.B. in der Badewanne war etwas Lack ab, aber nichts was einen großartig stört. Dafür hat das Zimmer ausreichend Platz, einen großen Schrank, mehrere Spiegel, einen Fernseher als auch eine große Schreibtisch der sehr praktisch ist.

Das Zimmer war auf den ersten Blick okay, das böse Erwachen kam am nächsten Morgen im Bad. Es gibt keine Dusche in dem Zimmer, sondern nur eine zur Dusche umfunktionierte Badewanne mit einer fest montierten Glasscheibe und einem somit schmalen und über 50 cm hohen Einstieg. Bedingt durch die Tatsache, dass der Wannenausstieg gleichzeitig das Kopfende der Badewanne ist , und dadurch schräg nach oben lief ohne jegliche Rutschsicherung bin ich beim Aussteigen aus der Dusche gestürzt und musste mich umgehend in ärztliche Behandlung begeben. Als ich diesen Vorfall beim Ausschecken erwähnte, wurde seitens der Rezeptionistin nur hilflos mit den Achsen gezuckt und gemeint, ich hätte mich für ein anderes Zimmer melden können. Dass das Frühstück sehr gut und umfangreich ist, hat den Vorfall nur noch bedingt ausgleichen können können.

Schönes, sauberes Hotel mit gut geeignetem Ausgangspunkt. Ubahn 2min entfernt. Parkplätze gibt es vorm Haus, in die überteuerte Tiefgarage des Hotels muss man also nicht. 24h/5€ gegenüber der TG. Hotelpersonal an sich nett ABER am ersten Tag klopfte es laut und wild an der Türe, sie worde aufgerissen ZIMMERSERVICE gerufen und auf unsere Antwort hin "nein danke" auch genauso laut die Türe wieder zu geschleudert. (Mittwoch 9:30uhr ). Ja ich verstehe die Damen müssen die Zimmer sauber machen aber ich hatte das noch nie, dass so laut eine türe aufgerissen worden ist. Wir sind nunmal im Urlaub ausschlafer und wollen dann auch gemütlich aufstehen. Und als wenn das nicht schon geil genug war: Donnerstag 8:24uhr, 9:18 und 9:59 das selbe Spiel. Wir waren die Nacht davor einfach lange wach und jetzt darf ich hier in Nehm 4 Sterne Haus noch nicht einmal ausschlafen? Man kann doch leise nach schauen ob die Gäste das Zimmer verlassen haben.... Also die 2 Servicesterne sind wirklich nur für die Damen und Herren an der Rezeption. Zimmer befand sich im 4 Stock. Ganz nette aussicht

Sehr freundliches Personal vor allem beim Empfang, TOP Großer Parkhaus in Untergeschoss vorhanden mit mind. Vier E-Ladestationen (separate App vom Anbieter oder Ladekante notwendig, keine reine Kredikarte möglich) Zimmer sind geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Geräusche von Außen kaum vorhanden Frühstücksbüffet reichhaltig und schöne Sitzgelegenheiten, ggf. etwas voll bei hoher Auslastung Separates Snackecke 24x7 im Foyer vorhanden

Bedauerlicherweise mangelt es bei diesem Hotel offensichtlich an der Sauberkeit und der Instandhaltung des Hotels. Die Lobby sieht modern und gepflegt aus, die Zimmer sind hingegen absolut heruntergekommen. Bei uns waren Haare im Bad, Schmutz im Schrank und eine Matratze voller Flecken. Darüber hinaus hat der TV nicht funktioniert und das Bad war an vielen Stellen stark gerostet. Die Dusche hat keinen Wasserdruck und die Anzeige Warm/Kalt war nicht mehr vorhanden. Die Minibar hat nicht funktioniert voller Schmutz und Krümel. Das Personal, das wir angesprochen haben, hat jegliche Beschwerden ignoriert und abgewunken. Auch haben sich davor andere Gäste stark über die Sauberkeit beschwert, die ebenfalls „abgewunken“ wurden . Zudem ist der Straßenlärm bis in die vierte Etage zu hören. Positiv hervorzuheben ist tatsächlich die Lage . Allerdings sollten Sie dringend an der Sauberkeit und der Instandhaltung Ihres Hotels arbeiten, da unter diesen Umständen das Preis Leistungsverhältnis keineswegs stimmt.

We stayed one night, the check in and checkout were really easy and fast. Our room view was great and it was clean, convenient and well equipped. I recommend it.

Super Hotel! Immer wieder gerne! Frühstück ist sehr lecker und es ist eine sehr große Auswahl vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet und die Betten sehr bequem.

...musste an einem self check-in Schalter einchecken...umständlich und zeitraubend, alle Informationen welche ich zuvor in meiner Hotelreservierung angegeben habe, musste ich nochmals per Touch einpflegen, meine Zimmerkarte selbst programmieren, welchen Vorteil hat das ?????Da erwarte ich für 4 Sterne mehr Service an der Rezeption...Rechnung nur per Email möglich. Parkgebühren gehen auch getrennt. Ein riesen Rückschritt im Kundenservice, komme daher nicht wieder. Wellnessbereich war mittags noch kalt, musste erst an der Rezeption anrufen zum einschalten der Sauna. FRÜHSTÜCK TOP!!!

My wife and I booked the standard room for a weekend mid December during Christmas time. We had a great stay. The room did meet our expectations although we struggled a little to get a nice and comfortable temperature within the room without opening the window. During the nights the room became stuffy. We additionally booked and consumed breakfast for 1 day for €25 each. Great variety of options.
