The burger was cooked well, not medium. The patty is only half as thick as it was a few months ago. And no, I didn't order a Smash Burger. Horrible Auto-Tune music at deafening volume. Nobody answers the phone either. That was my last visit.

I used to be a real fan of Beef Brothers. The burgers were always something special. Now, unfortunately, what you get here is only half-heartedly prepared and substandard!! The meat is wobbly and not seasoned, the exact opposite of juicy and crispy, which is what you'd want in a burger. The place is uncomfortable and cold. It used to be so busy that you were happy if you got a seat. Because the burgers used to be so delicious, I didn't mind if you could only enjoy your burger standing up. I wanted to give it another try today, but was unfortunately disappointed again. I won't be coming back!!

Burger very juicy and good price

It is just AWESOME! tasty burger and fries. The portion is big and the price is reasonable. We sat outside and the atmosphere is very relax and chilling!

A very nice and polite waitress, truly delicious food, and a very nice and cozy interior. Only the noise of the cars was a bit disturbing, but that didn't spoil our lovely evening at all.

Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review here. My husband and I came to this restaurant and had to wait 20 minutes to place an order. Then we were told to wait another half hour because the kitchen couldn't keep up with orders because only one employee was working. From an aesthetic perspective—compared to the dishes served to other guests—the food didn't look particularly aesthetically pleasing.

Very good Smashburgers, compared to their larger competitors in Cologne. Sure, the Smashburger always has a big bun, and Martin's everywhere, but the meat is really crispy and juicy on the inside. The Goldies Michelin-starred burgers not far behind are a heat-killing hash brown in comparison. Very fair prices, too. The recent Pastrami/Smash special was a poem – showing that they can do more than just press ground beef onto the grill. Sitting outside, a bit back from the Aachener, is actually quite pleasant. The service was very courteous and friendly. My favorite in the city center!

Real talk! €15 for a burger without any toppings, missing three ingredients you paid for, and you just get a greasy lump, is outrageous. Two stars only because of the relatively quick delivery.

The burger was really delicious! The owner was also quite nice. However, the price-performance ratio is unfortunately not very good. The portions are very small for the price. As a man, you won't get full here.

I've had many burgers, but this one was truly excellent! Not too complicated or trendy, just a good, solid burger the way it should be. A nice, crispy bun, a delicious burger, and plenty of ingredients. The vendor was friendly, though the staff was a bit sparse, so you have to pick up and order yourself, but it's a small effort, so it doesn't spoil the taste.

It was my first time there and I was looking forward to the vegan burger with cheese. However, it was rather mediocre. The sauce was really tasty, but the patty was much too thick and not particularly flavorful for me personally—that's a matter of taste, of course. The fries that came with it were just too good to eat—I really like salty food, but you just couldn't eat them. It's a real shame, and €14 is simply too expensive. The place doesn't have comfortable seating, it was very dark and not particularly inviting. I wouldn't go back.

There was some kind of indefinable snow-white smear on the burger, but there was no taste or recognizable blue cheese cream. The beacons were tough and much too thick slices. And the smashed patty was really small (I'm guessing it weighed less than 120g) – a really bad product for €10.50. The fact that the fries were a mini portion with 12 fries for €4.50 and the drink selection was more than "limited" on a Friday night at 8 p.m. unfortunately completed the bad experience. Sorry, but never again :-( (The predecessor, Beef Brothers, was great, but Ruff is just a rip-off)

The smash burgers are okay, but there were four of us dining there, and two of us waited 10 minutes (!!) longer. Add to that the lack of ZERO drinks, the greasy air, loud music, and, worst of all, the unfriendly Southern European staff. You're better off eating somewhere else.

We found this spot on a whim when we were looking for food on our maps app, that was walking distance from our hotel. There was indoor and outdoor seating both available. The gentleman that took our order was very kind. We ended up buying two chicken sandwiches (the crispy and the hot), and two orders of fries. The sandwiches were cooked to perfection the chicken was seasoned well (the hot sandwich wasn’t too spicy, it just had flavor.) Such a wonderful spot we found! *We ended up buying too much food but it was still delicious, even cold.

The fries are disappointingly small. There's hardly any meat in the burger – you almost only see the bread. I would recommend the owners try eating burgers at the "Fat Cow." The employees weren't really in the mood...

The good average must still be due to the ratings of its predecessor, the Beef Brothers. Those ratings were adopted back then and seriously distort the results. The bun-to-meat ratio isn't good. Too much bun. A truffle burger that doesn't taste of truffles. The meat, which isn't juicy, is also much too thin. Average standard. Maximum.

These burgers called out and were answered... The preparation by the very friendly and attentive team was appealing and the result very tasty...👍🏼. The €13.90 all-inclusive menu with, for example, the Giggly Smash is just the thing to leave you full and happy. The delicious BBQ burger on its own was a good addition to a small meal for two... keep it up. We sat outside in front of the restaurant and it was totally fine. Inside, the decor is kept simple and functional. After all, it's about the burgers etc. rather than an unnecessary crazy ambiance.

Perfect value for money! Getting a meal for €13.90 (including a burger, fries, and a drink) is extremely rare these days. More important than the price, however, is the taste and quality of the ingredients, and Ruff's Burgers really impressed in this regard. Thank you, I'll be back!

After a long day at work, I decided to order two burgers and a portion of prepared potatoes. And I'm shocked at the lack of professionalism. Both burgers are wrong. My burger was supposed to be "Club-House Chicken" and I got a burger with bacon and guacamole and nothing else. Not even salad, amazed. Not to mention the other burger was missing half of the ingredients. Long story short, the restaurant closed and I ran out of food. (Because I don't eat guacamole) I won't eat in this restaurant anymore.

I bought a voucher via the official homepage that is supposed to be valid in all branches. Unfortunately, the staff on site didn't know how to redeem it. Instead of finding a solution, I was just told to use the voucher next time - which of course doesn't help me if the problem occurs again. When I asked, I was answered with an arrogant attitude: “Then that’s just the way it is.” Because I was hungry, I ended up having to pay in cash - so I basically paid double for my meal. This is not only annoying, but also extremely unprofessional. If you already offer vouchers, you should make sure that your employees are trained accordingly. Customer service like this is simply disappointing. Reply to the owner: I've been there several times and tried to redeem my voucher. Unfortunately there was a different person at the checkout each time and it seemed like no one was adequately trained. The answer was always: ‘The boss isn’t there, we don’t know how to do it.’ That’s really disappointing and unprofessional

Of course, a little more expensive than the well-known fast food chains, but significantly better - both in terms of taste and the quality of the ingredients. My son (10 years old) and I ordered the burgers from the menu. In addition to the fries, there was also a drink - a good combination and a fair offer. I had the BBQ Burger, my son had the Classic Smash Burger. Both were really tasty! We have also included photos. The atmosphere on site is pleasant and the location is absolutely fine for a burger joint.

Raffs Burger on Aachener Straße – simply great! I went to Raffs Burger for the first time yesterday and I absolutely loved it. The quality of the burgers is simply unbeatable – juicy meat, fresh ingredients and perfectly toasted buns. Particularly noteworthy is the large selection of creative burger variants; there really is something for everyone. The atmosphere in the store is super relaxed and welcoming, and the staff was really friendly and attentive. The fries and the homemade sauces were also a highlight – crispy, spicy and simply delicious. If you are looking for a really good burger in Cologne, you should definitely try Raffs Burger. A clear recommendation for me – I’ll definitely be back!

Ruffs Burger in Cologne is an absolute must for all burger lovers! The staff was super friendly, attentive and accommodating. the food: The burgers are simply delicious! Juicy, perfectly seasoned and topped with the freshest ingredients. I had the classic/hamburger and was blown away by the quality of the meat The fries were crispy and salted just right, and the homemade sauces were perfect. The selection of drinks is also excellent, with lots of refreshing lemonades. There are also delicious vegetarian and vegan options 👌

I was there for the first time on January 5th, 2024 at 6:40 p.m. From the outside, the three employees gave the impression that they were unprofessional. I thought to myself, maybe the impression is misleading and went in. I entered the store with another young woman I didn't know. The employees seemed to know the woman. The employees were talking/flirting with the woman. I was neither greeted nor served. Since it didn't seem like they were particularly busy working, I spoke to them after a while and asked if I could order. An employee then served me. Not unfriendly but not friendly either. The burger was ok, but quite greasy and relatively expensive. I won't eat there anymore.

Burgers are outrageously expensive for what you get. The guys come across as correct, but they definitely give the impression that they don't want to be there. I can definitely understand the negative reviews regarding the service. The food is loveless, unfortunately there is nothing left of what was once “Beef Brothers”!

The first thing you would do if you ordered a burger is to expect them to be sticky. If you don't know, it's your own fault. We always eat delicious burgers here. And have never been disappointed. Since Beef Brothers left, unfortunately not really recommended. Brother are very expensive (e.g. 12.50 for a (chipotle burger, which only has a different sauce compared to the hamburger, but costs 3 euros more). Fries were tasty, but too salty. Smashburger was ok, also very salty .

The food was delicious. We had to wait 30 minutes after placing the order, which I didn't think was great. Unfortunately, there is a constant smell of marijuana wafting through the corridor from the toilets to the seats. As a customer, I find it unbelievable that you are forced to eat this smell in a closed restaurant. For me, this is also the criterion that I will no longer go there

Miserable service!!! How incompetent do you have to be to not be able to deliver a full order? Trying to call in vain, no one picks up. That's really disappointing. Paid money for two fries and never received them but you can send sauces for them.

I'm from the area and wanted to see for myself after all the social media videos with the well-known influencers. Honestly, I really enjoyed the meat. You could taste the fresh meat flavor wonderfully, and it was also perfectly seasoned. I would also like to particularly emphasize the very friendly staff - something that you unfortunately cannot find at every snack bar or restaurant. Overall I was very satisfied and would be happy to come back.
